Current Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

So many writing ideas, so little time to write. Being an adult sucks...

Fair enough. Shall we just... re-do that conversation in the collab?

EDIT:@Expolar

Uhh, we have a collab where she joins them, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do after that.

We can. Would probably be best.
@Zarkun How much of a confrontation do you mean/want?

I don't know, maybe more of an argument. I mean, essentially what we have now is a "You're a jerk" and the response is essentially "You're an ass." Nothing actually confrontational.
Hmm... is this immortal thread still open? o.o ~

It is indeed good sir. And a good point to join, since the Grand Magic Games arc is finally at an end.
@Zarkun You mean like how they're just back and Jarvis is like "Welcome back!" and it ends?

That and the lack of any real confrontation between Damian and Greggory, and everyone just letting Melina leave with Iron Enigma.
@Burthstone Reminds me, we need to make the ending a little less...cut and dry.
The first part of the collab is up, finally.

Still only like... A fourth of everything that goes on in around that collab.

Part 1 of 4 or 5 of the end of White Knights/Black Stars arc!

Finally.

EDIT:

Btw, people involved in the collab, look over it because it is edited and changed around some. I kept the dialogue basically the same, but some actions and lines are cut or re-worded.

It all seems good so far.
Journey through the Lush Dark-A Skittering Foe

The course of the trip deeper into the lair of what Wrath was almost positive was a broodmother by this point was fairly uneventful. Spiders would make their efforts to attack him and find themselves anywhere from turned into sliced arachnid to very bloody pulp inside the crevasse created by Earth Render. The webs grew thicker as he walked and the source of the power became stronger. However, with how quickly things had changed in appearance, it had the Nephilim wondering if this Broodmother had been here a long time or if she had arrived recently. It would be hard to tell. With Silitha dead, it's not like we can bust down her door and ask her where her children are. The thought brings a wry chuckle out of the Nephilim as he slices through some webbing to progress forwards. Not that we really could before.

Making another jump into a large domed chamber, he looks around and can sense it, that something powerful was nearby, perhaps even the source of the power blocking his way forwards back in the main tunnel. However, as he goes to move towards it, the sound of crinkling and gnashing pulls his attention to it's source. It was definitely one of Silitha's, with it's crystalline back and other features. However, once it faced him, the Nephilim found himself frowning in concern. The legs had become slimmer and longer, it's features sleeker. In fact, it was beginning to look frighteningly similar to the deceased Queen of Spiders herself, almost as if she was becoming the Queen. As it screeched, Wrath pulled his sword free of it's place on his back, readying himself. "Alright then, let's dance."

As the tide of broodlings rushed forwards to overwhelm the intruder their mother had designated, wrath unleashed a powerful horizontal slash in front of him, the Cleaving Slash opening up enough space to allow him to plunge the blade into the ground, creating a crevasse that swallowed those that escaped the first slash before slamming shut and introducing them to a rather pulpy ending. Turning his attention to the Broodmother itself, he can't help but grin. "Going to take more than fodder to kill me, spidey."
@LuckyBlackCat

Tommy nodded, turning to Cici as Amica hopped up on his shoulder. "Got that right. Not sure what I feel like though. Maybe french toast?" His team, meanwhile, had already received their breakfast in the form of sandwiches and Poketreats, which they happily ate while the two trainers came to a decision. Amica nodded at Tommy's suggestion, but she also seemed concerned for her trainer, who was taking the lack of progress yesterday in finding out more about the Entei situation rather hard.

When the fish girl spoke up about how they were supposed to save the princess, not burn down the castle, James growled in annoyance. "And you were supposed to keep Odin from reaching the castle, but you don't see us complaining." His attention, however, was then diverted by the arrival of of the afore mentioned Demon Lord, who made his presence known by slamming his fist into the ground near Fox and Luigi and movement had even the Guardian diving for cover just to avoid the debris from the blow. "Son of a bitch! It's like this guy is some alternate version of Oryx, only he just uses his brute force to win a fight versus his soldiers and stupid freaking Taken powers." Charger growled in agreement, appearing in the top right corner of James' HUD.

"This will indeed be a dangerous fight. Do you mind actually thinking a little bit before acting or am I going to have to provide the usual last minute warnings that you're so used to hearing by now?" Grinning, the Nightstalker peeked up over the debris he had hidden behind, a witty retort on the tip of his tongue, in time to see two of the black winged Valkyries charging at him in a zigzag pattern.

"Shit!" Was all he managed to get out instead as he was forced to dodge their first pass, rolling underneath them as one of the psypher tips brushed against his shielding and depleted it slightly. Noting the loss, with some amount of chagrin, James wasted no time in drawing the Imago Loop and firing in a predictive pattern against their zigzag with an intent to take out at least one of the Valkyries before they reached him. When the survivor would reach him, he'd holster the hand cannon and draw his knife in the same motion before jumping up and catching the Valkyrie's foot. Using the momentum of the jump and the swing he would get from catching said foot to swing up and on to the Valkyrie's back and ram his knife into her neck and slicing out to the right, ensuring her death. Upon hitting the ground, his shield, which had recharged the small amount he'd lost, would take another hit as he took to cover once more to allow it to recharge to full again.

While he waited, the Nightstalker decides to take a peak around him and sighs, realizing that they were caught well within the middle of the mayhem that had ensued since Luigi had called the turn on Brigan. Drawing his hand cannon once more, he'd take aim at the Valkyries attacking Hapu and Mudsdale, he'd fire off a shot at each of their wings, hoping that putting them on the ground would take away their maneuverability enough to close with them and finish them off in one quick blow. Charger, meanwhile, was still gathering data and scan on Odin, hoping to identify a weakness so that they could more quickly defeat the virus empowered villain. As James shifted targets from wings to center mass on the enemy units, he saw Brigan return to the field of battle with Oswald and an unfamiliar young woman that, if he decided to make an educated guess about, was likely Princess Gwendolyn. Three more in the fight can't hurt, and we know for certain that Oswald is a powerhouse just like Brigan, much as I hate the giant bastard. Let's hope they make the difference we need them to make.
Corporal James Hunt|Down time at Fort Breda

James took a moment to chew up some bacon he'd taken a bite of between her answers before giving a reply of his own. "I think I can do that for ya. Also, no need to call me sir, just James or Hunt is fine. Now let me see that paperwork..." Taking it when the LC would give it to him, he would read it over as he drank some coffee and spoke quietly to himself. "Lance Corporal Eris Reinhardt...officer training, complete but no promotion. Odd...decent scoring in her weapons training...advanced engineer training, medical emphasis..." This would continue for a couple of minutes before he set the papers down. "Well, seems it's all in order. Welcome to Squad 4. We'll get you introduced to the Sarge when he's done talking with Carn then the day is yours. We're set to receive new orders tomorrow." He takes another sip of coffee before continuing. "We just got back from the Battle of Vasel, so command saw fit to give us a break."
