If you're going by UK conventions of knighthood/nobility, yes. It also would be pronounced like the "dam" in "madame," rather than like a Dick Tracy "daym."

"Speak up, Koizumi-chan!" Decaman said with a smile, though he didn't force the girl to repeat herself. Instead, he listened intently to her hushed voice as she explained her Quirk. Because her gum was sticky and left stains, she was hesitant to use it. The teacher nodded understandingly.

"As long as you don't interfere with another student's scores, using your Quirk isn't cheating this time. A Hero school has to be all about acceptance, no matter how troublesome a quirk seems on the surface. I'm sure whatever mess your gum leaves behind, we've got some kinda chemical somewhere that can remove it. You wouldn't believe the kinds of messes I've seen kids make over the years." The big man rubbed his chin in thought for a moment, then pointed at Kaoru dramatically.

"Here are some suggestions, Koizumi-chan! Try spreading the gum between your fingers to make a slingshot, and see if that improves your score on the softball toss! Or, instead of using your hand for the grip test, try sticking your gum around the handles and see how much pressure it can hold before it breaks? And if your gum is bouncy too, try sticking some on the soles of your shoes and then doing the high jump!" He crossed his arms and nodded again as he continued. "The more creative you can be with your quirks, and the more ways you can figure out to use them, the more helpful they will be to you no matter what situation you find yourself in--whether it's a battle with a Villain, or a rescue mission!"

He gave his attention to Mine after that, as she introduced herself and her own Quirk--by tossing two spheres at Tonaka. Decaman's perpetual grin faded slightly. Then the girl spoke to him in a tone that implied she didn't have a lot of respect for him, and the nickname just confirmed it.

"That's Mr. Lawson, please, Onoda-chan." he said, very firmly but not overtly scolding. "And please don't do that to other students, even if you're kidding. Now, if you can shape and control your barriers, you probably have a number of creative uses for them. I know schoolwork is always going to be boring to some children, but it's important that you practice these things." The girl was already turning to leave, so the teacher didn't bother giving her any suggestions for how to better use her power like he had Kaoru and Tonaka. He sighed and shook his head. That one was going to be trouble if she didn't straighten up.

As Tonaka, Kaoru, and Mine continued their tests--perhaps now with a new outlook on things thanks to the teacher--one of the doors along the eastern wall opened up and Masamune came through, leading the freshman class. Decaman strode over to greet the other man.

"Heya, Ichiro-san! Almost done here, just another minute or two!"

Masamune glanced at the scoreboards being displayed on the monitors, taking note of the various averages and records that the students were setting with their attempts at each event.

"A bit slow going this year, it seems." he said simply, before looking back at his own students.

"Thank you, Miss Aiza. Combination Quirks have a lot of potential, so be sure you train hard." Masamune nodded, then listened as the next student piped up. It was a small boy, wearing a hooded sweatshirt--not exactly against school rules, but just at an odd time of year. Maybe it had to do with his quirk? But then he explained himself as a telekinetic. Masamune wondered, but then thought that perhaps he was a foreigner because of his name. Maybe he came from a much warmer country?

"Another high-potential ability, telekinesis, but often taxing on one's mental stamina. Thank you, mister Arioch, and I look forward to working with you."

The next girl was much more energetic, but Masamune's face remained set in a stony line as she explained her powers. He nodded.

"Super acceleration? A unique variant of a speed-type Quirk, and where I imagine you get your energy from, miss. But you forgot your name." He nodded for Matsuri to continue.

Tatsumi was trying to pay attention and learn his fellow students' names as everyone introduced themselves, but there was one thing that he couldn't wrap his brain around. He leaned over next to the smaller boy, Luca, and nudged him lightly with his elbow.

"Hey, uh, 'sup l'il man? Look, I uh...I dun wanna sound dumb or nothin' but, what does tele-kenny-sis mean?"

It sounded like telephone or television, so...did it have something to do with something that was far away? Tatsumi had only barely made the grade to get into Brave, and on the first day he already felt like he was falling behind, compared to some of these other students who had cooler sounding quirks and probably a better education too. It irritated him, though he tried not to show it.

As the group continued to give introductions and explanations, Masamune led them out of a large pair of sliding doors and into the Brave Court. Decaman approached him with a wave, and said that his group was almost done.

Masamune glanced at the scoreboards being displayed on the monitors, taking note of the various averages and records that the students were setting with their attempts at each event.

"Oh my!" Ms. Baumgartner said as Sou explained his ability. "Well, don't you worry, Shizukana-kun! I'm sure you'll be able to master your Quirk during your time here." Straightening her hair with one hand, she added, "My own Quirk is rather simple--I have frost-breath. I had to learn to be creative with it to be an effective hero. If you ever want to hear some training suggestions, please feel free to ask, Shizukana-kun!"

Knowing the cause of his burns and bandages made it only slightly less worrisome, but the fact that he was still alive with such a volatile quirk was a sign that the boy probably knew very well the limits of his own control and would be careful with its use. As Sou turned away, Snow White looked out expectantly over the other students, though she had to split her attention between them and the hallway in front of her.

"Who would like to go next? Oh, and here's the gym, by the way!" she said, as she pushed open the doors and let the sophomores into the huge enclosure.

Corrosion

@Rune_Alchemist - Interaction with Bonesaw

"...What the fuck is you smokin', gurl?" Corrosion tilted his head, much like a particularly ugly looking dog. He seemed to be chewing it over and trying to work it out for himself--but when he apparently couldn't, his eyes flashed with anger. He looked away for a moment, then shook his head--his dreads flying this way and that--before turning back to Bonesaw.

"Look, it dun even matta! Anyway, you obvs-isly ain't got no love for the big 'H'--" as he spoke, he kept making emphatic gestures with his hands, as if it somehow helped get his point across. "and I can't stands 'em neither! Whaddya say to hangin' wif me an' my crew, huh gurl?"

He reached down and picked up a wad of newspaper, crumpling it in his hand. Then, a green ooze began to trickle from his pores, and soon the wad was burning away, steam rising from between his clenched fingers.

"Then we'll see how 'Brave' they asses really is!"
@liferusherInvisibility will work, yes. Now you'll just need to finish the rest of the profile and flesh it out a little more.
@liferusherAn outright destruction Quirk is a no-go too, I'm afraid, because it's virtually unbeatable as anything that tried to oppose it would just get destroyed. If it were more "defined," it might actually work, but what you have now is far too vague. One of the things I'm noticing about your various attempts is that none of them are fleshed out very well; you don't put a lot of substance into the use or description of the power.

Here's an example of a "destruction" type ability that is, in my opinion, well defined: In a manga series called Psyren, the main character develops an ability that seeks out and destroys matter similarly to a black hole, but without the vacuum aspect. When this character first uses the ability, it takes the form of a large black sphere that moves around destroying whatever is in its radius. As the character develops the power, it takes different forms to become more controllable and more versatile.

This power has a "form" that it takes, has a clear method of its use, and its "destruction" is powerful, but limited--it had a limited reach, it could only absorb so much matter at once before imploding, it was extremely taxing on the user's mind, and it would seek out targets of its own accord, so the character had to be very careful when using it so as not to endanger his own allies.

Compared this to your characters' "she just destroys things," and do you see what I mean when I'm asking you to flesh out your powers more? I don't mean to be discouraging, but maybe you should try improving the quality of your writing overall as well, because the profiles have been...lackluster, let's say, compared to the other characters in the RP.
@Lucius Cypher Sorry, at the moment we're full up.

Sorry for the wait everyone, and also sorry if this post is also too honkin' big. TL; DR version: Decaman is coaching the Juniors on being more creative with their quirks, Masamune and Snow White are asking their students to introduce themselves and their quirks, and Corrosion is still talking with Bonesaw.

I didn't include the Seniors because it seems like that group has decided to time-skip to the next day, which is fine by me as long as we don't get wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff mixed up. You guys just let me know if you want me to post something for you.

I included mentions to pretty much everyone in the other three classes, so hopefully some of the folks who haven't posted yet/often will show up.

"Come on everybody, put more spirit into it!" Decaman shouted as he walked around the class, watching them go through the events. He noticed, oddly, that very few people were actually using their Quirks to the fullest during the various tests. Their physical abilities were good, but they seemed to be lacking in creativity. "Hey, what's wrong kiddos?! Why's nobody using their Quirks?" Picking one of the students he knew from last year, he pointed and called the young man over. "Hey, Hokama Tonaka, right? C'mere for a minute!"

As the primary physical education instructor, an adjunct math teacher, and one of what even among the teachers was called the "big four" heroes who conducted the Hero Training exercises most often, Decaman knew Tonaka fairly well from last year. He remembered that the boy had a combination-type Quirk, a sort of shadow manipulation and a healing light. However, the power was tied into his moods as well, and as a result he often held himself back from using the darker half of his abilities.

"I know in Freshman year, most of the focus was on control of your Quirk and not harming yourself by using it. And I know some of you are just this year entering the school, so maybe you're nervous or haven't trained your Quirk as much as those who have been here longer." Decaman said, his voice booming over the student body. "But you can't keep holding yourselves back like this, even if you're scared! Now's the time to step up, and start pushing those limits that you learned to recognize last year! Be brave, junior heroes!"

Then, turning to Tonaka, he handed him the softball from before.

"The whole point of these exercises isn't actually to get high scores and pass. It's to let you students channel your creativity, and figure out different ways of using your quirk besides the totally obvious. Hokama-kun, I want you to try the softball throw one more time--but this time, instead of just plain throwing the ball, try using your dark blast to shoot it, and see how much faster, how much harder, or how much more accurate you can be with it!" In a whispered tone, he added, "And don't be so scared of your own power. You have to own it. Accept it. Only then can you control it. The more you try to keep it bottled up tightly, the more it will struggle to be free. If anything happens, I'm here. Nothing will go wrong that I can't handle. Give it your best shot."

Patting the boy on the shoulder, he left him to try the exercise again. Then he looked around until he saw two of the new students, two girls. One of them looked like she might have a bad attitude, but the other just seemed sort of stoic.

"And a good morning to you, ladies!" he greeted them. "I know that both of you are new here. I'm Decaman by the Hero trade, but you can call me Mr. Lawson. May I have your names and a brief description of your Quirks?"

"And that concludes the tour of the dorms." Masamune finished, as he led the group back into the main hallways of the school. "Our next stop will be the Brave Court, where Decaman should be finished with the Junior Class's first-quarter Quirk Assessment. You all will do the same, once his group moves on." The swordsman showed them a map on one of the walls, one of many scattered around the school, with the typical "you are here" kind of breakdown of the building, and pointed to the Brave Court.

"Before we get started, since all of you are fresh, new faces, let's take a moment to introduce ourselves and our Quirks, shall we? Once you get on the field, I'll be able to help you that much better the more I know about you."

Tatsumi was nervous at first, but forced himself to raise his hand. As soon as he felt the teacher's serious gaze settle on him, his first reaction was to glare back--but he managed to stop himself this time. Mr. Matsumoto raised an eyebrow as he noticed the boy's dilemma, but called on him anyway.

"M-my name's...I'm Oshiro Tatsumi, 15 years old! My Quirk be a self-enhancement type, and uses adrenaline to make me stronger!"

"Good to meet you, mister Oshiro. Do you know how much stronger you can become?"

"Uh, well, it depends. The stronger I gets, the mo' damage it can do to my body. I can go up 3, 4 times the norm pretty easy, but at 5 times it really tears me up. I got to 6 one...time..." Here Tatsumi's eyes darted a bit, as he was apparently recalling that particular time with unease, but then he continued, "But I blacked outs afterwards and woke up in the hospital."

"I see. Thank you, mister Oshiro."

"T-Tatsumi's fine, sir."

"Who's next, then?" Masamune looked expectantly around at the rest of the students.

"And now we'll be moving on to the indoor gym, if the seniors have finished their tour in there." Ms. Baumgartner said cheerily as she waved the sophomores to follow her like a hen with her chicks. "By the way, I see some new faces in the crowd! If you don't mind, would you like to introduce yourselves and tell us about your Quirks while we walk?"

She looked over in concern at the one new face she'd seen, a boy with burn marks and bandages. She wondered if it was just from his quirk, or if he'd had some sort of accident on his way to school.

"Would you like to start us off, mister...?" she paused to let the boy give his name.

Corrosion

@Rune_Alchemist - Interaction with Bonesaw

"What the fu--" The dark-skinned man started when the girl looked up at him with a completely unexpected expression, as well as one hell of a quirk. Something to do with her bones, maybe? Then, Corrosion broke out in another grin.

With a disgusting sound, like spit hitting the ground, he let the Acid Whips drop. They burned new potholes in the walkway, but he paid no heed to them as he pulled one leg, then the other, free of their Acid Pads and turned a front flip, dropping down to land on the ground. When he stood up he still towered over the girl with his height and bulk, but his leer had turned from one that promised trouble to one of interest.

"Ain't no l'il princess after all, is ya?" he said, walking slow circles around Bonesaw. "The hell ya think you's doin', just waltzin' right the hell up into Brave, huh? How'd ya do it?"

It seemed for the moment that he wasn't going to assault her after all. Whoever she was, she had piqued his interest--she'd somehow gotten into a nest of heroes and back out without anyone being the wiser. Sure, maybe she was just small enough to fit a uniform and good enough with makeup to look like a kid--now that he was up close, it looked like she'd layered it on pretty thick. But she'd gotten past their security system somehow, too.

And more importantly, if she could do it once, she could probably do it again.

Tatsumi

@Dead Cruiser - Tatsumi bumps into, then speaks to Luca
@Pacifista - Noticed
@Great Sogeking - Noticed

As the freshmen group listened to Mr. Matsumoto go on about all the rules and regulations--the guy seemed to be a real stickler--Tatsumi noticed the pinkette from before and the other girl already seemed to be making fast friends. He looked away, somewhat embarrassed at his lack of social ability--he hadn't gotten either of their names. He focused instead on trying to take everything in; he had to be a good student this time around, and he'd have to learn the layout of this place so that he could make his way around...

With a start he realized he was getting too caught up in the scenery, and was falling behind. One hand on his beanie, he jogged down the hall after Masamune's fading voice. He caught up quickly and tried to slip back into the ranks, but in doing so he bumped into a smaller figure, one that he hadn't even seen until it was too late.

"Shi--I mean uh, sorry bout dat, l'il guy!" he said. The kid was kind of delicate looking, smaller than others with platinum blonde hair and wearing a bulky hoodie over his uniform. Tatsumi wondered for a second if the kid was hot under that thing, considering the weather was still rather warm, but then thought that perhaps he had a Quirk that required him to stay warm, or changed his body in a way that he was embarrassed about. "You a'ight?"

Corrosion

@Rune_Alchemist - Interaction with Bonesaw

As the disguised villain slipped through the crowd and made her way out of the building, she found no one on the grounds--all the teachers were too busy getting the rest of the building ready for the tours, or preparing their own lessons. No one had noticed one lone girl slipping out by herself, and if they had they might have assumed she was going to a bathroom or had gotten lost. Only when it was clear that she was leaving school grounds would suspicion have been raised, and by then it would have been too late, as she ducked down the streets and between the buildings.

But as she entered one lonely alleyway, there was an odd sort of sound--like something thick, some kind of jelly, plopping down from up high. Then, long green tendrils suddenly dropped down in front of her. Perhaps she might have brushed them aside--had it not been immediately noticed that steam was rising from where they touched the asphalt, and some roadside trash was quickly melting away into sizzling goop.

Behind her, more of these amorphous bars dropped down.

"L'il early to be's goin' home, ain't it?" Corrosion smirked from his place above her, the Acid Pads on his feet allowing him to stick to the wall and stand horizontally. His arms were stretched out, and the long Acid Whips trailing from his fingertips were the bars on the girl's makeshift cage. "If ya gonna play hooky...minds lettin' me play witcha?" He grinned, a single golden tooth shining among the pearly whites.
I've added a list of the currently in-use powers, and a tentative list of the classes. If anything's wrong, misworded, or you've changed your mind about what class you want to be in, let me know. Just make it soon, because once we finalize it in the narrative it'll be harder to make the required edits.

@liferusherMaybe using the list will help you? Also, if you still want to consider an intangibility power, maybe you could flesh it out by having the ability to not only become intangible yourself, but to make other things intangible as well, within a certain range or a certain time limit? It could be used in a variety of ways, like throwing a projectile at someone and making it intangible so that it passes through their defense, then the time limit wears off and it becomes tangible again just in time to smack them. Or, pushing an object like a skateboard at high speed, then turning yourself and the board intangible so that friction/air resistance doesn't stop you from accelerating?

@Jay KaltonThe students filed into the auditorium, for the entrance ceremony, and now the teachers are taking the different classes on tour for the benefit of freshmen and newcomers. The Juniors are currently doing their Quirk Assessment test, the Freshmen are being shown the dorm towers, the seniors are being shown the indoor gym and other facilities, and the sophomores are being shown the class tower and lab/library tower.

@liferusherI'm sorry, cause I know this must be frustrating, but we've already got a barrier user too. I think it would be helpful if you looked at the other character profiles to get an idea of what we've already got. I'm slacking up a little bit on the "no power overlap" cause at this point we have so many characters it's going to get really hard to be completely new every time, but I still don't want two people with "exactly" the same power.
@liferusherI'm going to say no to possession, because it's a mind-control type Quirk and I'd rather not have those because of how overpowered they can be. And we already have someone who can use telekinesis. Intangibility, and the spirit form, might work if they're more fleshed out, though.

@RedrumYou've still got a spot, actually. I marked the topic as full because there were so many people joining, but I decided it'd only be fair to let those who had already expressed interest, but just hadn't made their characters yet, keep their spots. So if you're still interested, I'll still take a look at your character.

@Jay KaltonThis looks good, another interesting power! She's accepted, and within her limits the specifications you included in your power description will be fine.
@Zeroth

Hyped as hell about this new post man! A big thing though, now that two more 17 year olds (and one more) have just been added I think it's safe to make them all seniors/in the same class.

Edit: I've been ninja'd it seems.

I think several of the other reserves will be finishing up soon too, so yeah if we have a more even spread we can redistribute as needed.
