Aurelia Nakamiji

"Now where are they?"

Perhaps she should ask the students. She knew they needed some rest, but probably asking for a few names wouldn't hurt. It's not like she's drilling their memories for information. Seeing a group of seemingly students in the hallway, she stepped forward, trying to call for one's attention. But then suddenly, a feeling as if thousands of needles were stabbing onto her back purged her senses. Her gut screamed. Danger was very up close!

With a wham, came right from behind was a wheelchair, zipping through the hallway like a bullet. And on that thing was that stupid blonde again!

The hasty yet timely sidestep along with a lean to the right helped her avoid a fatal crash. The wheelchair proceeded to slam into the wall...and then got stuck there...along with the boy. The other side of the hall was a petite brunette kid, looking like she had Napoleon complex, shouting something about "staying away from Kaida". Kids these days...

"Good gracious...Could they act more like a mature human being?"

How difficult was it to settle down and have a talk?

She didn't bother with that girl, since she wasn't acquainted, nor she had any intention to talk her out of doing such an act in a hospital. She's not even bother if they got kicked out. Though she did approach Roy, as he was having...quite a predicament.

"Are you beaten enough to rest now?" She said as she approached the blonde kid, along with a girl with black cat ears on the side, unaware of the heat coming out of him. She knew he would recognize her. And the answer whether she'd help him out of this would depend on this answer. It better be a smart choice.

Kasuke Mina

"Of course," Mina uttered dryly, upon hearing the reason Donny was out of bed was hunger, but still, she listened as he struggled to remember another reason. At one point she was sure he zoned out entirely, but didn't interrupt. He uttered the name of a girl Mina had never heard the name of, yet still remembered reading on the class register. She thought back to all the classmates she remembered seeing but didn't know the name of. It wasn't Ruby or Hitomi because they were transfers from other classes, and both had hard-to-forget animal features. There was that one girl. Small, young, violet hair and pink eyes, looked right through you when she talked. Then again, they had two classmates who fit that description and Mina didn't know the names of either. By process of elimination, the one who wasn't 'Yozakura-san' must be Kishimoto Tomoe. So not that one.

"In a manner of speaking," Mina answered to hi question. "I'm here for everyone. I heard that there were several incidents and I wanted to know what happened and if everyone was ok. Anyway, I'll go and get you some food. Wait back in your room. Or Yozakura's room. Or just stay here. I'm not your mother. As long as you're somewhere I can find you when I get back."

And with that, she left Donny to get some sustenance, and returned about fifteen minutes later with a tray stacked with hot food from the hospital cafeteria. If Donny wasn't in the corridor, she would look for him in his room, then Yozakura's room.

Koizumi Seiko

Seiko could not think of any way to use a shield for a quirk, though it would likely prove useful in the aftermath. The idea to confess to him was one that Seiko had considered when the topic of pranks was brought up, but Amane likely already knew Seiko's secret. They were in the same class, after all. Mamoru then proceeded to list as many generic classics as she could think of, most of which couldn't be pulled off right now. It was desperate. Seiko was hoping that Toru would either have some good ideas, or at least have a quirk that could give Seiko some good ideas.

"I don't know why we have to prank Amane. If you ask me, you guys shouldn't. You don't seem cut out for it. I'm with Mamoru. There are better things to do." he said, before Lysander addressed him, and admitted that he was attracted to him. Could it be that he hadn't figured it out yet? Oh, this was good. A chance for revenge on a plate. Forget what he said earlier. Seiko was in the mood for a prank, just not against Amane.

The Diva of 1-B, and the Karaoke Queen, Seiko was also a good actor, and though he couldn't manage a real blush, he managed to look a little bashful seeing Lysander's wink, just enough to egg him on. "As good as fighting you to determine the true best wire quirk sounds, and that fight is going to happen, there's one person here who hasn't given their ideas yet. We should hear them out." She didn't look at Toru. She didn't need to.

@Experiment 249@FamishedPants@Lucius Cypher

Maeda Hitomi

"Oh, I had no intention to pick a fight with real villains. It's too dangerous to even go poking around to find out who they are, however much I want to. I'm assuming the Principal knows everything he possibly can already, but if he doesn't, you should talk to him. At the end of the day, it's his call how much the students deserve to know, not ours. The only thing I disagree with you about, and strongly, is that you shouldn't get involved anymore. You got involved once, by accident, and you ended up in the hospital. What if next time...?!"

Hitomi stopped and took a deep breath. The wild look in her eyes had come back.

"I don't want you to get hurt, okay? This is the job for trained Heroes, not students."

Ruby Mamoru

As Ruby reduced the distance between her and Roy, she could notice more of his injuries upon closer inspection. He seemed to be bruised and battered pretty badly, the bandages on Ruby's own hands were nothing compared to what he was going through. Considering the state he was in, the "bump" against the wall must've been quite the shock for his body. Ruby processed all those information in her mind until she had finally reached his position. Coincidentally, another girl had also made her way to the wheelchair-bound boy.

Before she had a chance to really say hello to her, Ruby felt a strange heat radiating from Roy. Putting two and two together would imply that it would certainly be related to his quirk, and that totally was not a good idea. In his condition, considering the circumstances, it was a horrible idea even.
Ruby crossed her arms in front of her body and spoke while maintaining eye-contact with Roy, at least if he were to return it.
"Will you stop with that already? You mustn't strain yourself now."

Her expression was quite serious and her tone in a usual manner for her, but it was obvious that she was worried about him, even if she found it hard to express like that. Ruby let out a sigh before shaking her head slightly.
At that point, the neko turned her attention to the unknown girl. Her parents have taught her to always introduce oneself to others properly, otherwise it would be a sign of disrespect. Therefore Ruby began speaking to Aurelia.
"Excuse me, I was too distracted by him right here... My name is Ruby Mamoru, I am a classmate of Roy. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance." she said respectfully.
"I'd shake your hand but..." Ruby held up both of her bandaged hands. "I am afraid that will have to wait." The neko tried her best to not seem unfriendly while greeting Aurelia because more situations like the one earlier would surely just end up unpleasantly for either party. Once they were done with their introductions, Ruby would focus her attention back onto Roy as she stood in front of his wheelchair somewhat awkwardly.

Roy Kusayanagi

Roy felt unbearable waves of pain as he layed with his head up against the wall, it seemed as though his body had weakened to the point where it was beginning to have trouble containing his energy. Roy looked out the corner of his eye as he heard s familiar voice, Aurelia seemed to have returned once more and with a sly comment to boot. As much as the blonde wanted to say no, his body was telling another story. Roy had pushed himself too far, even though he could barely move he had to push himself a bit further. He payed Aurelia no mind at that moment as he strained himself to lift his left arm. It hurt like hell but he had to bear with it or else it would get worse, he felt the insides of his body beginning to scorch from the rise in body temperature.

He needed to release his cache of solar energy. The boy was grinding his teeth as he pulled his left arm out of the sleeve of his hospital gown. The boy inhaled deeply as he gripped the bandages wrapped tightly around his chest and pulling hard and exposing the sun marking on his chest. He could feel cuts reopening on his body as he ripped the bandages from his chest, not even a moment after the sun marking began releasing a steady stream of Smokey golden energy. You could visibly begin to see the relief on his face.

“You can beat me up and knock me down but you can’t forbid me from seeing Kaida. I’m sorry if I may have came off as rude.” The boy pulled his head down and made direct eye contact with the girl, his eyes were now a fiery gold color. “But in class 1-A we look after each other, its because we care that we meddle in others businesses.” Roy felt his body now begin to relax, it seemed like whatever kept him glued to the chair has just warned off. The blonde could feel himself beginning to return back to his normal self, knowing that everyone had came to see how they were doing kinda put his mind at ease knowing that they would let anything bad happen.

Roy’s eyes soon turned back to its natural sea green color as he faced Ruby who was beside him as she nagged him to stop straining himself. The boy let out a cheeky grin, “Are you worried about me Ruby?” He had decided to take part in teasing the rather aloof Neko. Roy looked down at Ruby’s hands which were bandaged, as he saw the sight of her damaged hands the boy furrowed his brow. “What happened to your hands?” He asked as he slowly reached out to grab the girls hand, a hint of concern in his voice.

"Anybody get the license...on that wheelchair..." Kenichi mumbled as he shook his head. He grimaced as he felt something cold on his side, and looked up to see Fumika looking down at him with those colorful eyes of hers.

"...I think you're okay. Sorry. I didn't realize going to the hospital was so dangerous. I let my guard down."

"Y-yeah, tell me about it. Second time I've been to a hospital this week, and neither one's gone well."

Jett crouched down to look him over as well, but the other boy's slight smirk belied his concern.

"You ok there? Maybe we should check you in while we are here. Though… you got to admit… that was pretty funny, who honestly gets doors slammed into their sides now a days?"

"Ha. Ha, yeah." Kenichi said in monotone as he grit his teeth. "But hey, if we're gonna check me in, what about you? Maybe they could tell ya which blow to the head it was that made your Quirk glitch out."

"I think my Quirk's a bit better suited to this," Asuka said, causing Kenichi to watch with interest as she projected her own ice pack. However, where Fumika's looked like something you'd see on any store shelf--in fact Kenichi thought it might be a brand he'd used before after workout-related injuries--Asuka instead made an actual ice cube and plastic to wrap it in. How different were their Quirks?

"Well, unless you're set on staring at Wonderboy here for another twenty minutes or so."

"...Wonderboy?" Kenichi smirked. "Not my first choice of Hero name I guess." But as Fumika's ice pack pressing against his side began to fade away, he reflexively moved one hand as if he could have caught it. He looked up, slight confusion creeping into the edge of his face, as Fumika stood up.

"Go on," Asuka said dismissively, motioning to the figure who had just rolled out into the hall. "Better check on your friends. It's what you came here for, right?"

"...Thank you," Fumika said quietly, and quickly shuffled away. Kenichi started trying to push himself up.

"Wow. That's rare. She must be really worked up if she's actually thanking me for anything."

"Th-thanks from me, too, Asuka-chan. I think I'll be okay as soon as I get my breath back." Kenichi said, although his usual energy had dimmed quite a bit. Still, once he was back on his feet, he wasn't all that bad-off. It was just the sudden movements, and of course repeated impacts. He wasn't going to be bedridded by something like fractured ribs, right?

Right, he had come here to do something. He was supposed to be visiting the others. Although...right now that seemed to be taking a bit of a back seat to something else. He couldn't put his finger on it. He just had...a bad feeling.

He made it to the edge of the doorway.

"Takeshi... Your arm..."

“Fumika… thank you for visiting…”

BAD FEELING.

He only barely peeked around the edge of the door. It felt like he'd be intruding otherwise--and while one part of him screamed that he ought to just kick the door in and go in shouting like he always did, another part of him told him he needed to watch this because something about this was all wrong and he had to figure it out.

She opened her mouth, then shut it. She blinked very slowly. She nodded. Her lower lip quivered. She fidgeted with her hair. She raised her head. She frowned. Her lip twitched slightly again. Her ahoge dropped. She turned--

Kenichi jerked back around the door, plastering himself flat to the back of it. He gulped, feeling the sound in his eardrums. Then there was another sound from inside the room, but when he looked he could see just the edge of blonde fluff standing in the doorway. He had a feeling someone had bumped into something, but as long as she was standing right there then they wouldn't be stumbling into or being caught by her, would they? But then what was Haruka talking about, "nice catch?"

“Why don’t ya make sure that Yoshida kid’s alright? He took a pretty nasty hit to the gut back there.”

Kenichi put a hand to either side of his face and rubbed vigorously like a hamster washing its face. He managed to get his usual grin back up and running, shook his head, and stepped out into the open hallway just in front of the doorframe. He started to say, Who, me? A little thing like that's nothin'!

“Thank you Fumika,I really appreciate you being here.”

Don't say that while staring directly at her you goddamned bishonen!

"Eh?" Her voice rose an octave. She looked down. She fidgeted. She looked at Haruka. She smiled faintly. Kenichi was also smiling but on the inside something made the kind of sound that a priceless stained glass window makes when you swing a wrecking ball through it. One of his eyes twitched. Then Fumika turned and started out the door, and of course that put the two of them face to face. Kenichi reflexively took a step back.

"Ah, uh, sorry Motome-chan...I, uh, just got back up! I'm alright now, no worries!" He flexed his arms as if to demonstrate that fact. His ribs didn't protest the motion so badly this time. But something in his gut still hurt.

"I should, uh, probably say hi to Yashiro-kun too, huh?" he blurted out, awkwardly moving to one side so as to let Fumika clear the doorway...

Tomoe Kishitmoto

Location
Classroom
@Silver Carrot@Conscripts

Acion didn't appear to need much help at the moment yet Acion still accepted. The three of them headed inside into their empty classroom. Acion sat down somewhat folding his wings in to fit between the desks as Tomoe sat down close to him on one of the deskes instead of a chair. Hitomi sat next to her onto one of the chairs.

Acion started about the problem that had occured during the last time they had spoken. It was about Acion and his sister. Tomoe did not even know that Acion had a sister, anyway. Acion told it was not only them involved but most of their class actually. Tomoe her heart skipped a beat, the aura in the classroom began to darken as Hitomi stepped up from her seat clearly panicking.

"N-no, this can't be...

Was this for real? Assassins? Their class being hurt? Dulga? Roy? Kaida? Mamoru? Jett? Everyone else? Tomoe began to breath somewhat weirdly as her hands shook. She was panicking. Why did something bad like this have to happen. Tomoe was just having fun and everyone got hurt when she was slacking off somewhere.

Acion said they had to stay calm and that word could not get out about this. Stay calm!? How could they stay calm when part of their class was hurt badly. Well they probably should since nothing could be done about this anymore now. Tomoe softly stood up to her feet as she wanted to walk towards Acion by the window.

"A-A-chan you s-sho-"

The strong emotion and lack of sleep had made her somewhat distressed and affected her body right now. She tried to step forward but simply fell forwards during her first step. Her forehead hit right against one of the schooldesks opening up a small wound on her forehead. Her reaction did not show she was aware of what happened. She was already out by the time she fell. Her body dropped to the floor yet she still breathed off course. She would be fine but still out on the cold harsh ground.

Vae Lynn SaDiablo

Location
School Yard

“Life can be. Granted it can bring in those who care for everyone. Much like yourself.” The young woman said changing songs once again in order to clear the air. This song seemed to be hurting Nia. The young woman sensed this person was not used to the sadness of the word. So how could the young woman help? Perhaps I feel better when I’m dancing by Meghan Trainor? Worth a try. “No. I can here for help. Not for life help but magical help.”

The girl played a much happier tune as she started moving to the beat. Her eyes never breaking contact with this person. ”Don’t think about it. Just move your body. Just listen to the music saying ooh aye oh. Just move those little feet.Go ahead and get crazy.” The woman sang as the audience seemed to slowly get into the song.

The people seemed to follow them everywhere, helping the girl pick out things to buy as she continued playing. Nia would even see the start of someone brand new as they continued to move. For Vae music could heal anything or music could cause harm around you. Mainly depend on the story you wanted to tell or what events needed to come to light. This was the magic of humans not the confusing curse she was given. This she understood without a doubt.

Once the shopping was done they were once again alone with a soft song playing. ” I had fun today.”

Acion Nakamiji

This is a huge misunderstanding

And he knew that the moment that wild eyes came back and lock itself onto his. It wasn’t anger. And he had no intention of that to begin with.

”Believe me, I know myself.” He replied. ”I know I cannot hold a candle to even one of them. I know that, because I ran away at the beginning of the fight.”

A strange taste formed at the back of his tongue. His eyes looked away for a brief second, his teeth biting his lips. The taste of a pill.

”I worry more to my classmates the same thing that you do for me.” He said. ”You’re right, those are jobs for trained Heroes. But I will become one. And if my sister and her hero group can’t resolve them themselves by then...”

Then he’d be forced to get involved. A hero that did nothing to stop crime is not worthy of its title.

”But-”

He didn’t have the chance to finish his sayings. From his peripheral vision, he could see the girl next to Hitomi missing her step. No, rather she couldn’t stand the next step. The moment she lost her strength, the ground beneath Acion just seemed to flee.

”Kishimoto-san!”

He yelled out, trying to lunge to catch her, out of pure instinct. But before he even realized he was too late, she already hit the floor. It wasn’t just a normal fall. Before meeting the cold floor, she was met with an earth-shattering slam onto the side of a school desk.

’Damn it, that could kill!’

Acion immediately rushed to her, kneeling right by her side, lifting her shoulders up. Blood began to spill out of the small wound left in the wake of the collision.

”Do you have a handkerchief or something?” He asked hastily as he stood up, with Tomoe supported by his arms and wings. ”I need to get her to the nurse office right now!”

Aurelia Nakamiji

”Fair enough.”

Aurelia had quite a bit of concern when Roy was sucking his eyeballs out in an effort to free himself, but if that was his choice…

”A pleasure to be your acquaintance. I’m Aurelia Nakamiji, Sky Knight leader.” Her attention instead turned to the girl who just introduced herself to her, standing upright and speaking with a clear and low-pitched voice. ”My younger brother is classmate and friend with this guy, so I do know him.”

A rather strange friend indeed. Roy then proceeded to spout lines of friendship to the other girl in question. From the looks of it, the angry little girl seemed to have something to do with that Kaida. And he...oh boy…

”Anyway, no worries. I’m sure you guys are training hard. Be sure to give us a hand when it comes to that time.” She winked to Ruby in encouragement, though that vanished quickly as she turned back to Roy. ”Though don’t overcommit to the cause.”

Kaida mumbled as she heard some shouting, groaning as she shifted in her bed towards the door, her left eye peeking out from under her blanket/ dulgas cloak. It was blurry at first till she rubbed her eye quickly, just fast as she could get her hand back under the blanket. She didn’t understand what was happening for a moment, the girl was telling someone...she looked out the door to see Roy against the wall opposite of her door.

The girl yelled at him to stay away from her… why? What was he doing? She slowly pushed herself up, pulling the blankets and heat pads closer as she did so only her face was exposed, pulling her knees to her chest under the blanket. This was about the time Roy answered back saying something about meddling in his fellow classmates business. What did he do? Or say?

The girl spoke again, ” I can if you were being a PERV.” Kaida’s face went as red as a tomato. WHAT DID HE DO!? As she instinctively wrapped her arms tighter around herself. The girl looked like she was going to say more, but this time Ruby and Aurellia were coming to Roy’s side.

The brunette girl’s eyes went wide, when she recognized the silver haired woman. Hesitating for a bit, as if deciding to just leave things as is… that and Roy seemed already interested in another girl reaching for her hand acting concerned. Ugh he cared for Kaida so much but loses his attention in a second when another girl walks in? Shaking her head she turned around to see a really confused pair of purple eyes looking right at her.

Instantly a smile came upon her face, and after a moment of registering on kaida’s part, her eyes grew wide with excitement. Keiko!? Kaida exclaimed breathlessly. Keiko nodded vigorously and quickly went to Kaida, wrapping her arms gently around her. But held her tightly. Kaida returned the hug through the blanket, not having time to actually get her hands out before Keiko got to her.

I can’t believe it! I never thought I would see you...or Uncle sparks again! Where have you guys been!? Kaida asked quickly. As they pulled part, Keiko shrugged,

All over… it's a long story, but we basically have been on the run/hiding/ dealing with stuff...I really wanted to let you know but dad said it would be too dangerous for us till he took care of...well things.” Shaking her head as to rid the subject. “ But we can talk more about that later! I got you something!” She said sticking out the white bundle directly in front of her at arm's length, bouncing on the balls of her feet with a massive smile on her face.

Kaida pulled her head back just slightly at the sudden change of subject, blinking as she did. But she reached out with a curious smile as she took the bundle, and unwrapped the simple string that tied it together. It was heavy...soft and warm. She unraveled the bundle to find a cloak. She thought it funny that she was given another cloak in a day… Dulga gave her hers for a bit but this one would be hers! She ran her hands to the cowl to find two ‘ears’ with purple tips. “I saw it and I thought it would be perfect for you! So you constantly don't have to ‘manage’ your quirk.” she said softly incase of prying ears from pervy lightbulb behind her.

Instantly she put it on, while still having Dulga’s covering her front. It felt so perfect, like it was meant for her specifically. Pulling the cowl up and tight, she relaxed a bit, allowing her horns to come up and fit perfectly within the ‘ears’. " oh I love it! Thank you Keiko!"

At that moment she heard a knock at her door, looking over she saw Jett standing there, his knuckle resting casually on the door frame and the crooked grin she always saw on him. She turned red again and tried to say something but flustered...messing with her cloak(s) and blanket trying to cover her wounds... immediately embarrassed she looked as horrible a she did. She wish she had some time to actually prepare herself... but he would understand right? STILL Though...

Few minutes earlier

Jett pulled back with a smirk on his face when Kenichi made a snippy remark about getting himself checked out because of his quirk. Looking to Asuka while Kenichi was busy trying to get up and mouthing to ‘Touchy…’ with a grimace and raising his eyebrows a flick before standing up with a smile. This was about the time roy was suddenly shot out of another room, crashing into the wall directly across from it.

Raising an eyebrow and hearing the exchange between the now dubbed cattle prod loli. He couldn’t resist but to go see what was going on. He glanced in the room with Takeshi, Fumika and Haruka, they were busy at the moment, so he would come back and check on him. Looking to Asuka he said softly, ”Excuse me, I’m gonna go check out what's happening.”

Walking briskly over he glanced at Roy who was now talking to Aurellia and Ruby. Making eye contact with Roy, he pointed towards him before he actually made it to the door. Mouthing once again. You’re a Perv now? with a confused but joking smirk.

Not waiting for an answer he knocked on the door frame and glanced in the open doorway. After a few moments he cautiously asked, “Is...everything ok here?

Keiko shrugged but noticed how Kaida was acting. A smirk came on her face. She said nothing but looked at Kaida for her to answer.

Kaida quickly tucked a loose strand of hair She nodded… remembering Roy she then said
“Sorry Roy… you can come in of course...” She saw the others in the hall, but she didn’t know if they wanted to come in as well, but the door was open. She looked to Keiko who was now giving her a disapproving look. ”He’s ok… he’s just a friend… he’s harmless.”

Grumbling something under her breath about a Pervy lightbulb...she folded her arms. For a second. Then looking to Jett. Smiling again. “I’m Keiko Sparks, Kaida’s cousin... Kaida cocked her head to the side, slightly confused for a moment before looking back to Jett.

Jett smiled and bowed his head slightly, “Pleasure to meet you. I’m Jett Haven, a fellow classmate of Kaidas... Looking to Kaida who blushed even more as he did. ” Just wanted to make sure you were alright, and if I could do anything for you to help?” He said shrugging. Not really knowing what to do honestly, but he thought he would offer.

Keiko looked surprised when hearing his name. But she didn’t say anything...she heard of Haven Industries… was this guy related to the owner/pro hero of that company? She didn’t say anything when she noticed Kaida fidgeting with her blanket, wringing it with her hands… clearly wanting to say something but it couldn’t come out...only making her turn more red.

She finally motioned him shyly to come closer. At which he compiled, but when he got close enough, kaida seemed to gain a lot of confidence and suddenly reached out and hugged him tightly. Saying nothing for a moment, finally whispering. “thank you...

”Hmph. You guys really are…” Mamoru closed her eyes and had to think really hard for what a good prank would be. It can’t be anything too childish, but simple was what Mamoru did best. She tried to think of something, anything, that might work with everyone’s. She had on solid idea and it was about as solid as a straw hit. ”Alright so… If we have to prank Amane or something, I have one kinda good idea. It’ll need JoToru’s healing powers to work, and you two doing your wire thing. So like… I don’t know if Amane knows me, he probably doesn’t, but I’m sure he knows I punched him in his black hole. So I bet he thinks I’m like, crazy or something. So JoToru, You should go find him and say that I want to challenge him to a rematch or something. Then you lead him through the school and towards the cafeteria, but make sure you go to where that pillar thingy in the middle of the hall is.”

They might know what Mamoru was talking about. There was a roundabout area near the cafeteria with a pillar at the center of the room. Flyers and posters were often attached to it. It was only about five feet in diameter but because it was so close to the cafeteria it was a hotspot for school advertisement. Plus it was a huge hall too, perfect for gatherings. Or a big prank.

”So like, Lysandyo and Psycho-Seiko should do a pretend challenge or something nearby. Maybe like, make weavings or something with your wire quirks. Basically make a net and try to not look suspicious. When JoToru brings Amane nearby you guys ‘accidentally’ let your nets fly out and trap Amane. And if JoToru gets caught, he can just slice himself out or something. And then I’ll kick Amane in the nuts.”

”Mmm.” Donny said quietly as he continued to wander off. He began to wonder if he’d ever find Yukari’s room when he actually stumbled across it. He noticed a couple of others here but he wasn’t too familiar with everyone. Certainly not while he was still dazed from his injections. He knocked on the wall to make his presence known. ”Yozakura-San… Are you okay? I’m okay. It’s fine now. Are you feeling alright?” He says as he takes a seat nearby.

By the time Mina arrived Donny was starting to sober up. His form looked more solid as he formed his skeleton, though he was still tired and hungry. His speech seemed somewhat more stable as well. ”Kasuke-San. How did you find out about the a-a-attacks?”

Dulga Tarata

It was quiet. Not even the wind made a noise as night fell and darkness covered the lone house in the mountains. The wolves came out to investigate. Five of them, roughly a hundred pound each and bigger than even a rottweiler. Their sheer size was a result of the scientist who created them; bigger bodies with more strength, tighter muscles, yet at the same time requires sustenance equal to if not less than an average wolf. A marvel of genetic engineering. Shame he was a villain.

The door was closed but not locked. Most beasts wouldn’t know how to operate a normal doorknob. So of course these beasts had no issues doing that, getting up on their hind legs and using their teeth to open the door like one would with their hand. They were stronger and smarter than your average wolf. About as smart as a normal human being. Dulga would now test them for the true extent of their abilities. The first would be their perception; she had strung a thing wire just a few feet in front of the door. The first wolf didn’t notice it but also didn’t trip it. He was lucky. The second one also didn’t trip over it. The third noticed it. Pointed it out to the other wolves by sniffing it; it had a dull and dusty scent, same as the rest of this place. They investigated and found that the wire was attached to nothing; it was just a tripwire.

Despite noticing the wire they were still careless. They would avoid the wire but not realize that they kept stepping on a creaky wooden plank; one that Dulga had rigged with another set of wires. When the fourth wolf stepped on it, it created enough pressure to pull the trigger of her pistol hidden in the shelf nearby. The wolf cried out in pain, followed by angered growling. ”Damn. So they can take a nine millimeter to the head.” Sure enough the fourth wolf suffered from a painful wound that ripped through his ear and lodged a bullet into his skull. Despite that he wasn’t dead just pissed. The first wolf went to the shelf and opened it, seeing the smoking gun and ripping it off the makeshift gunstand. ”How terrifying.” Dulga says as she hears them dismantle her trap.

Knowing that they were expected the wolves were now on high alert, and this allowed them to realize the entire house was rigged with thin metal wires strung about the ground and ceiling. If someone ran through here they’d likely end up slicing themselves against the taut wires. And there was no telling if any of these wires were also hooked up to a hidden gun. The beasts split up into two parties, three going towards the basement and three going towards the second floor. ”Splitting up. They’re either confident or want to find me quickly.” She tapped her chin but let the wolves continue moving through her home. The kitchen had less wires strewn about but had a different hazard, one that the wolves noticed quickly. Oil on the floor. It was spread very thinly so that the wolves could still walk on it stably, but they’d have to move slow. They tried to find a way around but because it was spread so thin, the only way they could avoid it is if they jumped across. And there were wires strung up over the oil puddle precisely to cut them down if they tried. They’d have to move slowly.

The other group managed to reach the staircase and noticed that it was conspicuously devoid of wires. Of course even they knew that the staircase was a dangerous bottleneck; the only way would be forward or backwards, with little chance to dodge if something big rolled down. They also saw that Dulga had apparently hammered nails upwards under the staircase; the wolves could easily cut their feet trying to walk up or if they fell. They knew this staircase was trapped somehow. The safest thing for them to do would be to trigger the trap but from a safe enough distance that they wouldn’t be caught. Alas, there wasn’t anything around the room for them to use except the various wires Dulga had strung up. That’s when one of the wolves went back and got her gun.

With a surprisingly amount of dexterity, even this wolf was able to release the magazine and drop it on the ground. There was still a bullet in the chamber but without a magazine loaded the firing mechanism was locked; an intended safety feature and possibly one these wolves knew of. Or maybe they just wanted to get rid of the magazine so they had two things to throw up the stairs. The lead wolf tossed the gun to the top of the stairs where it hit a low wire, which caused the second and third step to collapse and the top step to swing forward. If a wolf was there he’d be smacked in the face and fall down the staircase. But the only thing that got struck was an empty gun.

The second group of wolves had an idea how to cross the oiled kitchen. The wires were high but the walls were untouched, so they would run along the walls, over the wires, and reach the staircase. It was something they knew they could do well, and pulled it off without a hitch. Now they just needed to investigate the staircase leading down. It was a short height and, just like the other steps, devoid of any wires. They opened the door wide, careful of anything falling from above, and made sure there was nothing behind the door. The first wolf went in a few steps.

And that’s when all hell broke loose.

Three steps down and the wolf triggered a wire trap, one that was hidden close to the corner of the step so the wolf wouldn’t had seen it. Just like the first trap at the door, it was triggered by stepping on a loose wooden plank, and the pressure set off the wires underneath. This trap was liked to the other staircase as well; either one would trigger the same trap, only question was which one did it first. And the wolves were already walking up the stairs when this trap was sprung, causing the steps to collapse underneath their feet. Two were quick enough to jump to the second floor; the third wasn’t so lucky as he fell all to the to the basement, sliced to ribbons by the wires that had been strung about down there. The wolves in the kitchen didn’t have it any easier as the wire pulled on a small lighter hidden between the floorboards; this light created a small flame that was just enough to light up the oil that had been spread out over the floor, which in turn started burning the wood. And there was more oil underneath the floor, and the spark would soon turn the entire kitchen into a quick and sudden inferno. The three wolves had to go downstairs quickly where they were attacked by Dulga herself, who had set up a barricade around herself using wooden boxes.

Despite the wolves falling into her trap they didn’t panic and were just as quick on the draw as she was. Standing more than thirty feet away she fired at the first wolf, who instinctively moved to the side so only his hind leg was hit. It left a painful gash but not enough to slow it down at all. The wires he ran into however tangled him up and as he tried to get away, they tighten around his body and kept him stuck in place for just a moment. A moment long enough for Dulga to line up her shot on him. The other two wolves moved in to lunge at Dulga as a second gun was produced and aimed for the lead wolf. It was her shotgun; one shot and even though the pellets hit the beast dead on, it didn’t kill him. It did stop him long enough for Dulga to fire her third shot which ripped through the first wolf’s skull, killing him instantly.

From the hole that came from the staircase the other two wolves jumped down, using the path their now dead ally made for their own safety. They even picked up his body and used him as a shield as they charged towards Dulga, his dead body breaking the wires that sliced his body into the bones. Before Dulga could even react they were already on her position and bite at her; she was only able to get her rifle up in time to block their teeth, and she could feel them trying to rip it out of her hands. They intended to disarm her, if they don’t end up tearing her throat out. But she didn’t take her eyes off her initial prey; she had two more wolves to deal with first.

Dulga quickly fired off three close range shots from her pistol, each hitting the wolf she had blasted with her shotgun thrice in the chest. Dulga did her best to try to avoid hitting bones; they were hard and dense. She needed to go for gut shots. Even these beasts would pause in pain from that. As for the third wolf, he was too close to shoot; he was already pass Dulga’s shotgun. So she just slammed it into his neck and pressed him against the wall. She did the same to the other wolves as well; two of them may be enough to overpower your typical hunter. But Dulga was not your typical hunter. These two beasts didn’t have nearly enough meat on their bones to weigh Dulga down.

She tossed all three wolves with enough force that they’d dislodge from her gun, and so she kicked the boxes she had barricaded herself with towards them. They were filled with loose scrap metal, nails, ingots; leftovers from her father’s forge. They would provide some minor obstruction as Dulga made a run for it, using her powerful arms to swing herself off the wall and towards the hole she created. The beasts recovered quickly and were on her heel but she was just a few steps faster, climbing up towards the second floor of her house. The beasts had to follow her through the hole as the other way was blocked by fire, and the first wolf that came out was gunned down without mercy. The second wolf however was fast enough to avoid the bullets and lunged at Dulga again, but this time she was prepared; she had an improvised knife made of a piece of sharpen rebar on the second floor, and when the wolf got close she simply grabbed the blade and placed it in the wolf’s path, impaling him through the mouth. With a quick twist, she snapped the beast’s neck as well as her makeshift dagger.

The last wolf didn’t come up immediately, at least he didn’t go after Dulga. No, instead when he came up and saw his final ally killed, he ran. Dulga couldn’t allow him to go too far; these wolves were too smart to let them leave alive. They would learn from what happened here, and that knowledge will spread. Others who would try what Dulga did would have much more difficulty. Fortunately, the beast, in his panic, forgot one minor detail; the tripwire in front of the door. His foot was sliced at the ankle and the beast stumbled. He was bleeding heavily and still tried to make a run for it, but he wouldn’t get far enough. The area around Dulga’s home was wide open for a reason; even as the grass had grown, the beast’s size would now work against him, making him trivial prey for Dulga’s aim. One shot, and he fell.

”Six wolves. They knew how to dismantle a trap and disarm a pistol. Smart enough to bypass simple traps. But still beasts. Fire scares them easily, forward focus, and and fight in packs. Next time I should work on my escape.” The girl says to herself as she gathered up the beasts in her home. No sense in letting this meat go to waste. While the hides were damaged by the bullets and wires, they could still be profitable. She also gathered her pistol, though it was damaged heavily. Those wolves weren’t gentle. She looked down at one of her hands and noticed it was bleeding; when the two wolves lunged at her, her finger had gotten grazed by one of their fangs. Despite that it was a very bloody wound, going deep enough that she could see sinew. The pain was suddenly starting to come to her now that the adrenaline was draining out, and Dulga had to patch up her wound with her meager first-aid kit. She’ll need to head back to school and get it properly looked at.

”Still not fast enough. Eight shots, four kills. Tch… Next time, I won’t have nearly as much time to prep either. Pathetic.” Dulga sighed knowing that she was only able to do so well because she had expected these wolves to arrive, and had plenty of time to get ready for them. Wiring the entire house might’ve been overkill but she had that luxury. She thought about her battles at school and knew that if she tried this over there, she wouldn’t even have been able to oil up the kitchen before someone would arrive to fight her. ”Too complacent. A hunter shouldn’t wait for prey.” She grumbled as she took the spike she had made and sharpened it into a fine blade with one of her father’s leftover whetstones. Once the blade was keen enough, she began the grisly work of skinning and butchering the wolves over a large sheet of plastic tarp.

Ruby Mamoru

"Oh?"

Ruby remarked after hearing Aurelia's introduction. Given the circumstances, it seemed to make a lot of sense that a hero would be there, especially since she seemed to be a relative of someone who was a friend of Roy. Considering he was also a classmate of Roy, Ruby had to know him! It took her a few second to connect the dots, but she did so eventually upon thinking about her lastname again.

"So you're Acion's sister then? I guess that'd make sense..."

After all, Acion was one of the few students she had actually talked to properly a few times already after they had faced off in the first exercise that Ruby was allowed to partake in. Since Acion was her first real encounter during the exercise, he was quite memorable for the nekomimi. Before leaving, the grown-up decided to leave some words of encouragement, especially for Ruby. It caught her a bit off guard, especially the winking part at the end, but it was a nice feeling nonetheless to hear these words from someone in Aurelia's position. Ruby awkwardly scratched the back of her head with one hand and replied

"Of course."

Just like Aurelia, Ruby turned her attention back to her old teammate after he had so carelessly teased her. This time however, the neko decided not to let his cheekiness get to her! As if his words barely had any effect on her, Ruby decided to play as if she felt insulted by the belief that she would not be worried about him, even though she understood that he was just teasing her.

"Of course I am worried about you! It is only natural to worry for one's classmates isn't it?"

The neko had decided not to call Roy a friend since she wasn't exactly sure whether he'd be okay with Ruby considering him a friend. As depressing as that sounded since it might have been natural in Roy's mind, Ruby just did not want to risk anything so she decided to stick with this rather neutral way of saying it. Before long though, the boy claimed his worries about Ruby's hands which were wrapped in bandages thanks to her training just a few hours ago. She was quite baffled by the fact that a boy with so many injuries, who can barely move around without the wheelchair he was sitting in was worried about a few bandages on Ruby's hands despite the fact that she can move them well as she had just displayed so the injuries couldn't be that severe.

"It does not matter what happened to my hands... have you looked at yourself? You're in a way worse shape than I am."

Before he had a chance to reply, her cat-ears actually twitched as they picked up on the noises behind her at the other end of the hallway. Ruby recognized Kaida immediately upon turning her head to check out who was there and then looked back to Roy. Without saying much she made it clear that she'd follow him to her room by nodding to him. If necessary, she'd even push his wheelchair there!

Roy Kusayanagi

A sly smirk was plastered on the blonde's face as Ruby confirmed her worries, "I had a slight feeling you were someone who cared but kept a low profile about it, kinda like a watchful eye." Soon enough Keiko spoke up once more and man the audacity of this girl to call him a Perv. In what way was he being a perv? The boy furrowed his eyebrow in annoyance as Keiko was beginning to become a big pain, "In what way was I being a pervert exactly? Whether you came or not does not change the fact that me and Takeshi were on our way over here because Kaida is sharing the room with his sister." There was hint of offence in the way that Roy spoke, it was as if she was trying to make him look bad infront of all his friends.

Though soon enough he heard a familiar voice, one belonging to Kaida who seemed to have shouted the small brunettes name. Keiko was the runts name apparently, Roy raised an eyebrow as he overheard their rather short conversation before turning back with a smile to Ruby who dodged his question with a question of her own. He was glad to see Kaida up on her feet after what had happened. "Oh these? Its nothing really, I've felt worse to be honest. Im kinda just basking in the glory right now" It was true, it was his first ever villain encounter and who would've known it would have came so prematurely. He smirked, then the smirk turned into a small chuckle, why exactly? Because he must've looked like a complete wreck, "I'm sorry you had to see me like this."

Though just as fast as that smile came it disappeared as Jett came into the picture knocking on the door, the blondes eyes narrowed as he glared once more at Jett before snapping out of it as Kaida told her cousin that it was alright for him to come in. Honestly was it always going to be such a hastle for him to enter that hospital room? Roy immediately made a face at Keiko rubbing in his small victory but that quickly vanished as he noticed the change in body language between Kaida and Jett. Roy simply just sat in the wheel chair and watched from afar as the whole situation unraveled, at one point he nearly forgot to breath. There was a strong feeling of discontent within the boy as he compared the difference in treatment. Though soon enough, that feeling of discontent transferred into a strong mixture of envy, irritation, and dejection as he watched Kaida pull him into an intimate hug. Ruby would be able to visibly see the dissatisfaction on the boys face.

"I suffered these wounds because I did my best to protect the people I care about, people that weren't around...bonds that I never had. I took these blows for that reason." Roy spoke in a low tone, just enough for Ruby to hear, and the wholke time he spoke his eyes were locked on Kaida.

"Feelings i've never felt."

He felt a tightness in his heart as that last word escape his lips, Roy wasn't necessarily an selfish or jealous person but this was an abnormally large pill to swallow. All these deep cuts that were embedded in his body, the bruises that throbbed non stop, the intense burns that scorch his skin, and all the emotional stress that he was put under. All that for the credit to be given to someone who simply came after all the heavy lifting was done and took ONLY Kaida and no one else away. As much as Roy wanted to be a sefless hero, it was hard to let this one go.

After all that was said and done he didn't even recieve a simple 'thank you'.

Kasuke Mina

Mina found Yozakura-san's room, and entered it with a tray full of Japanese hospital food, and quite good quality too! "I told them one of the patients has a quirk that needs to eat a lot and they gave me all of this without any questions. It should get you feeling a little more lucid" She set the tray down besides Donny, and had a quick look at Yozakura-san. Mina did not know who this girl was, her quirk, or anything about her other than that she had seen her around. It was callous, but as long as she recovered in health and mind, Mina didn't really want to know anymore. She wasn't interested.

"Motome-san came and told a group of us, though she was pretty vague about the attacks themselves. That's actually what I came for, besides making sure everybody was ok. I wanted to know more about these attacks. I-"

Mina was cut off from audible raised voices oming from down the hall that definitely belonged to a girl. I could be Kaida, but there was one that sounded younger. Mina sighed, muttered "Nani?", and stood up. "I'm sorry, Donny. I need to go and see what all this fuss is about. In the meantime, eat up."

Mina ventured from Yozakura's room to Kaida's room, and entered the doorway just in time to see Kaida hugging Jett. No, this all seemed fine. There wasn't anything wrong and Mina had no reason to be here. She should leave. But she couldn't. She could leave things the way they were. She entered the room, slipped right past Ruby and Roy, and got close enough to Jett and Kaida that they coul both clearly see her. Lady Mode, don't fail me now.

"Kaida! Are you okay? I heard there was an attack! What happened?"

Maeda Hitomi

"Then they get backup from other qualified Heroes," Hitomi answered for Acion, and was about to go into more detail when Tomoe fainted and bashed her head against the desk. Hitomi rushed to her side, though not as fast as Acion, who asked if she had a handkerchief. Hitomi nodded and took one out of her pocket, applying it to the bleeding wound.

"It doesn't look life-threatening but it's still a little more serious than a band-aid job. If I hold the handkerchief firmly in place, can you carry her?"

Blood started gushing out of the wound covering most of her forehead and hair in blood. The petite girl lost all color in seconds as the blood pulsed out of the wound. When Acion got to her he immediately lifted her up and positioned her in the right position for someone unconscious. Hitomi had gotten by her side as well and pushed the handkerchief against the forehead of Tomoe to stop the bleeding. The handkerchief immediately grew red with the hot blood of the girl. They didn't have all the time in the world for her to be treated but at least they were able to tell that the pink haired girl was gonna be fine right now.

While they were trying to get Tomoe to help another pinked haired girl appeared right behind them from thin air. The double of Tomoe had sharp claw like fingers and didn't appear all to friendly. She jumped onto one of the desks close by the three of them squatting down onto it and viciously hissed unlike any other human could. She lunged her claw out at Acion upon the sight of him. She still remembered from the squad royal the other day. The flying hero that she still had to get revenge on. The double could still remember Hitomi from previous encounters but seeing how she was working with the winged boy didn't sit her right. They were hurting Tomoe! Her double had to protect her.

Tomoe circled around them over the desks as she kept her eyes straight onto the winged boy. The expression on her face really did seem like she was ready to get rid of both of them. Leaving Tomoe behind to her double would only result in her losing more blood and no viable solution to all of them. For them all to stay would only get them all in danger and wouldn't be ideal either. The double was getting ready to attack and didn't seem affected by any words either.

Vae mentioned Nia being someone who cared for everyone, well she did try to cheer up others but it would mostly end up in Nia getting more hurt then the other person was. Nia still softly sobbed as Vae tried playing happier songs so the Nia wouldn't be so upset any more by the previous song or the mood. The mood drastically changed when Vae started playing a song by Meghan Trainor. It was upbeat and nice to listen too, Vae even sung together with her violin. Her voice was nice to listen to. It gave her shivers somewhat as her teary eyes sparkled up to the girl like she was shining. The text of the song mentioned dancing with your feet. Nia blushed as she saw the rest of the people close to them dancing. Nia never really danced before after preschool. It was really an embarrassing thing to do for her but she still managed to move her feet at least a little without seeming all to weird. She was smiling though.

They started to gather the needs for the cooking all while Vae played her music. Nia was blushing most of the time as they really stood out but she was happy for the girl to feel so alive. She felt so good at the moment. In the end they were alone again finally at their destination, the school yard. Nia deeply bowed her head at Vae as the Indian girl mentioned that the day had been fun.

"It has been the best day since starting school! Thank you for staying with me up untill now!"

Nia straightened her back again and softly smiled at the girl. She was honestly happy.

Dulga Tarata

Six wolf hides, eighty pounds of steaks, forty pounds of choice innards, forty pounds of assorted bones, including tails, skulls, and teeth. The rest Dulga buried in a pit. Maybe it’ll grow into some wild flowers later. It had only been about an hour since Dulga defended her home from the wolves, but she was fairly certain that there was still some shops open this late. At least ones that’ll buy animal hides. But that also mean going into the public again, which means Dulga had to put her guns away. She’d also have to go back to the Continental at some point and see if they could repair her gun, or possibly get a replacement. She’ll still keep her stechkin, but her TT-33 was trashed. Perhaps she’ll upgrade to something with more kick. She saw a new line of police pistols effective even against villains with harden skin, utilizing some sort of high tech eletro bullets so that as long as they hit, they’ll deliver a powerful shock. Of course it wouldn’t be available to the civilian market, but Dulga doesn’t shop there anyways.

She was a bit surprised that the wolves left her motorcycle alone. For beasts as smart as they were, doesn’t even look like they investigated it. Not that there was anything there for them to check, aside from perhaps her scent. Good for Dulga at least; it would be quite a hike if they had somehow sabotaged her bike. Once she had her belongings secure on the back of her bike Dulga got into her seat and drove away. ”Tomorrow I’ll head into the woods and go after the wolves myself. Chances are they’ll wonder what happened to the others and be after me anyways. This way I’ll be more adapt to more random encounters.” Her hunter instinct didn’t like the idea of taking on these beasts without having already set up safeguards to ensure her absolute safety, but she knew this was a habit she had to break out of. Like it or not, whether she chooses to be a hero or something else, things won’t always work in her favor. She needed to learn how to adapt on the fly and be ready for anything without knowing what will hit her first. Otherwise she’ll be letting her enemy take the initiative and that could be her doom. Or someone else's.

As she drove through the night Dulga hooked up her phone to her bike’s speakers. Or rather, the radio she had rigged to her bike. A personal feature she added despite her father’s protests; he didn’t want her distracted by music while she was driving. She understood the risks but music helped her focus. Listening to tunes allowed her to not let the monotony of driving the long and empty roads make her complacent. Though she did switch to some fairly low key piano music instead of her usual EDM stuff; she just didn’t feel like listening to something with a upbeat tempo. As she was driving it seemed as if her radio had stopped playing but realized that it was just playing a new song that had a very quiet opening. She didn’t mind it and let the music play. The haunting piano piece gave her goosebumps. ”Spooky. Maybe I should change it-”

Suddenly as Dulga was driving over a bridge, a wolf lunged out at her. She didn’t even realize it was hiding near the railing; she didn’t expect these beasts to be so close to the roads. It didn’t give any warning as it latched right onto her face, the beast’s fangs digging into her face mask. Her first reaction was to draw her pistol and shoot it in the face, but when she reached for her gun she remembered she had packed them away; she had no weapons on her. Thinking quickly the first thing she did was grab the wolf by the throat and tried to pry him off, and failing that, crush his throat with her hand. It was pitifully easy for her to do; in her panic she had dug her fingers into its thick hide, and with a twist of her wrist snapped the spine, trachea, and contorted the wolf’s neck.

She tossed the beast away as she stepped on the gas going fifty to eighty miles an hour in seconds, but it wasn’t fast enough as more wolves came out of the forest to chase her, and they were gaining speed faster than Dulga was. She could only glance into her rearview mirror but she saw four, six, ten, and then finally fourteen wolves chasing after her, a few even trying to intercept her from up ahead the road. Dulga avoided them as best as she could, grabbing one of her gun cases and swinging it at the beasts since she wouldn’t be able to take a gun out and assemble it while driving. The wolves snapped their jaws at her, nipping at her heels and wheels before deftly avoiding her wild flails. ”Shit, shit!”

Worse was that there was some tight curves coming up. She either had to slow down, which would let these wolves catch up and overwhelm her, or maintain her speed and possibly wipe out. But Dulga had to keep her cool. This was exactly the sort of situation she had to prepare herself for. No guns, outnumbered, at night, by herself. So many others in her class had faced far worse than a wolf pack and survived. Hospitalized, sure, but alive. Dulga wasn’t going to let herself fall behind them. Dulga knew she didn’t have enough control over her bike to make the turns, but she also knew her bike was a damn sturdy machine and she wasn’t fragile either. These wolves might be faster and tougher than a normal wolf, but they were still beasts, and Dulga was a human. A human willing to do things no normal person would be capable of.

As the turn came up, Dulga leaned low to the ground. When she was at just the right position, she grabbed the ground while she was still going eighty miles an hour, lifting herself, her cargo, and her bike off the ground so she could toss all of it over the railing to the road below. Anything to put a bit of distance between her and the wolves. Those animals certainly didn’t expect that as her wheels hit the ground with a loud squeal and immediately burst forward. The suspension might’ve taken a hit but it was still moving, and it’ll keep moving. The wolves also jumped but only after a few seconds had passed, which by then Dulga was already fifty meters away from them and putting the pedal to the medal. It was a fairly straight road from here so she could afford to speed up. And she’ll have to.

Jumping right in front of her was a bigger wolf, with a snow white hide. The beast was as big as a semi-truck and coming right at her. And despite his size he was fast; Dulga was only barely able to see him before he was already right on top of her. She had managed to swing her gun case right into his snout, knocking him aside, out of pure luck. This blow was enough to stop him dead in his track as Dulga zipped right pasted, but soon he was right back onto the chase. The wolf pack was following close behind and already gaining on Dulga. She really wished she had a gun right now, even if it was just her broken TT-33; she could at least throw it. She had to think quick. Flailing with her gun cases weren’t going to do it. She needed something that would put those beasts down, even if only for a little while. She glanced back behind her and saw something glinstern in the moonlight.

Wasn’t long before three wolves overtook Dulga and lunged towards her. She kept two hands on her handles as three hands shot out to intercept the beasts. One went for her face while two went for her legs, one on each side. Each one got stabbed in the face or throat by a broken wolf femur. If it weren’t for the speeds they were moving at such crude shivs wouldn’t be able to break skin, but since both Dulga and the wolves were moving well over hundreds miles per hour, pretty much anything at these speeds would be a lethal weapon as long as it can hit. The three wolves fell quickly as the others avoided their fallen comrades and closed in, more cautious now knowing that Dulga was armed. This hesitation is what she was waiting for.

Suddenly Dulga would lower her speed, making her bike hop and crash right into a wolf. She revved her engines to crush skull and tear off flesh as her bike dropped back onto the asphalt and got close to one of the other wolves. She swung at the beast with a bone shiv, but was only able to cut it’s shoulder. Still it was a deep and bloody cut, enough to cause the wolf to stumble and slow down. He won’t be able to catch up, though Dulga’s shiv snapped in the process. ”That’s four. Five? Whatever!” The wolves jumped at Dulga’s head but she wasn’t going to fall for that so easily; she ducked, swinging a fist upwards to make the wolf sail over her head as she moved closer to a different wolf, gaining speed on it. It tried to run faster but Dulga suddenly accelerated, running it over as it made a loud yelp and tumbled off the road. More beasts were gaining; she couldn’t stay here for long and her road was coming to an end. There was at least four more miles before she’d hit the Otaru, and she hasn’t seen any headlights since this chase started. There were at least eight more wolves plus that big guy, and Dulga doubts a dinky little shiv could hurt him. Still she grabbed a few more bones and snapped them in half, ready to take on more of these curs.

Dulga turned sharply down the road, but she saw four more wolves running towards her. She wasn’t surprised that they copied her tactic to try and close the distance, and with more beasts coming from behind she couldn’t afford to slow down and get sandwiched. The cliff next to her was far too steep for Dulga to try and jump or drive across; there was no other way but forward. All four wolves jumped forward at different angles onto Dulga as she turned her bike sharply, sliding on both wheels and leaning back to try and avoid their claws and teeth. With swung two fists at the beasts, clobbering one, stabbing two, but missing the third as he jumped onto her back and bite into her shoulder, hard. ”Gaaaaaah! Sonuvabitch!” She could feel the blood quickly seeping out of her body as the wolf gnashed into her bones, and so she grabbed it with her free hands and crushed its skull and throat, though this only made it drive its teeth further into Dulga’s shoulders even as it killed the beast.

Dulga nearly lost control over her bike as she writhed in pain. But it was also in that moment that the wolves caught up to her and started to slam into her. She tried to swing at them, but her wound caused her her attacks to be too weak and too slow. They kept knocking into her, trying to push her off the road. A few tried to bite her but she was at least swift enough to make sure they didn’t get a tooth in, but between getting battered around and her gushing shoulder wound she wasn’t sure how she was going to make it. ”Goddammit! Is this how it’s going to end? Fucking wolves!?” Dulga steered back to the middle of the road and charged forward, but one of the wolves managed to latch onto one of her gun cases. Despite the pain, she reached out and grabbed the case, swinging it with enough force to send the wolf off road. She had no idea if it was enough to injure the beast but she’ll take solace of having one off of tail.

The wolf’s bite was strong however, and tore clean through the hard plastic cover. It was her mother’s rifle, perhaps one of the worse guns she could have falling out right now. Unwieldy, single shot, had one hell of a recoil, even if she took this gun out and loaded it there was no way she could get a clear shot with all of these wolves swarming her. In fact, they were already right behind her. ”Dammit. Dammit! No choice then!” Dulga slammed on her brakes to juke the wolves, which worked for a moment long enough for her to take out her mothers’ rifle, sans barrel. It could still work but it would have very poor balance and an uncontrollable spread. As she took the rifle out Dulga grabbed three bullets, one between each of her fingers, plus one which she held with her index and thumb as she loaded it into the rifle.

”You only get one shot.” Dulga said to herself. True she was holding more bullets in her hands, but frankly that was because she was scared of missing. Scared of failing. Scared of not being strong enough, skilled enough, or fast enough when it matters most. Anyone could kill. It takes a true hero to save a life. She needed to be better, or else all she’ll know is death. The wolves jumped on her back and tried to bite onto her wounded shoulder. She slammed the stock of her rifle into its jaw and knocked it off into the path of the other wolves. Dulga slammed on the brakes while doing so, skidding over the same wolf she struck as she was, for just a moment, aligned with two other wolves. She’d prefer a headshot but she wasn’t going to be picky right now; she’ll aim for whatever she could hit. Bracing her rifle against her shoulder even as blood seeped down her shirt, she pulled the trigger. Her bullet flew wide but it did it’s job as it ribbed right through the torso of the first wolf, and still had enough energy to smash into the ribcage of the second wolf. Her rifle also let out an extremely loud gunshot, louder than her usual rifles. It was a good thing she had her earplugs in, but even so it deafened her for a moment.

Dulga wasn’t sure if it was luck, fear, or just intelligence, but immediately after that shot the rest of the wolves disengaged. Dulga didn’t slow down but she did look back, seeing that giant wolf watching her in the distance. Alongside him were many others, wounded and disfigured but still very much alive, even the ones she had stabbed, ran over, or crushed. It was somehow horrifying to see; these would wounds that would kill a man easily, but these beasts wore them like battle scars. The only wolves she didn’t see up there were the ones she shot, and even then perhaps they just haven’t gotten up yet. ”Goddamn. Did I even fight wolves or demons?”

Three miles later Dulga went into a rest stop bathroom to patch her wounds. Once more she had to rely on her meager first aid kid, which was only capable of bandaging her injuries, providing very little to actually aid in healing. Her body was wracked in pain and Dulga spent a good twenty minutes curled up on the floor crying at how much this hurts. This pain reminded her of the burns she had suffered over her body, but without the trauma to numb her experience at the time. But twenty minutes was all she allowed herself before she forced herself onto her feet and back onto her bike. The bandages would stop the bleeding but won’t heal the injuries, and if left untreated she wouldn’t be surprised if she gets an infection, possibly losing her arms. Not to mention her shirt was absolutely soaking with blood now, so she was in a dire need of a new attire. Fortunately she knew a place where she could get some discrete medical service and a new outfit all for the cost of a single coin.

It was a good thing it was so late too, if this was done even in the afternoon there would be too many people looking at her. Dulga wasted no time reaching her destination; a little fish shop that appeared to be close. Dulga banged on the door loudly until an old cranky man showed up. He was yelling about why someone would wake him up so late at night, but when he saw Dulga’s bloody figure he looked frighten. But then she showed him one of the golden coins that she had used at the Continental. Then he just looked annoyed. He snorted and let Dulga inside. ”I need someone to watch my bike.” The old man continued to look annoyed but called for his wife to come down. She seemed sleepy and in a language that Dulga didn’t understand, the wife begrudgingly stepped outside and stood next to Dulga’s bike as she followed the old man to his kitchen. There he started to unplug the outlets to his over and pulled it from the wall, revealing a trapdoor underneath. He opened it with a key he had around his neck and Dulga went downstairs.

It was a long, white tunnel with fluorescent lights illuminating the ceiling. She walked quite a bit aways until she appeared to be at some sort of sterile surgery room. There was a buzzer on the wall which she pressed, which prompted a nurse looking fellow to arrive. He looked at Dulga, writing some things down onto his clipboard before directing Dulga to an operating table. He informed her that at the moment, there was no doctor present who could completely heal Dulga up. ”That’s fine. I just need to make sure this doesn’t get any worse.” Easy enough, the nurse leaves and asks Dulga to change into a smock for the operation. She did as she was told and soon two masked doctor looking folks arrived, one who was a surgeon and another was an anesthesiologist. They both had some sort of mutation quirk, but that didn’t seem to hamper them as they operated on Dulga.

Sure enough all they could really do was reduce swelling to Dulga’s wound, as well as to the bruises she sustained, as well as apply some antibiotics for any potential disease she may have caught. She was also given a blood transfusion to help balance out the fluid lost. Finally, they stitched up and properly bandaged her wounds. There was no broken bones though there was a lot of tendon damage, which the surgeon currently couldn’t help her with with his limited expertise and resources. Dulga simply grunted and left two gold coins for them and asked for a new outfit.

And before long Dulga was back on the street. She was dressed in a long black coat, dark grey pants with black rubber boots. She of course kept her mask, though the strap had broken. She’d have to get a new one back at her dorm. She was feeling quite dizzy and was recommended to take some time to rest, but she knew she couldn’t. She needed to go. Now. Perhaps not drive, but she wasn't going to wait here. Besides that old lady was getting really annoyed with her now. So Dulga thanked the two and pushed her back deeper into the night. As much as she wanted to curl up in a soft bed and cry herself to sleep there was much more work to be done before the night’s end.

Kaida could feel a sudden warmth when she held Jett close to her...though it was coming within really. Even more so when he returned the hug. After a moment or so he pulled away slowly. Keiko glanced over to Roy who said something but she wasn’t really paying attention to the perv on wheels anymore. Looking back to the two hugging, it was far more interesting to see this, Kaida got herself a potential boyfriend!

You’re welcome? I really didn’t do much though... He said with a hint of red on his cheeks. He just came to see her...not like he saved her or anything. He glanced over to see Mina suddenly there super close to them. Which took him aback because he didn’t even sense her coming in the room. He wasn’t expecting her to be all that concerned for Kaida, with what happened at the last exercise, it was clear there was something between the two girls. It shocked him into silence.

"Kaida! Are you okay? I heard there was an attack! What happened?"

It caused Kaida to be taken back as well, shocked, and embarrassed on how close she was to them. She pulled back onto her bed and pulled dulgas cloak closer over her chest, with her arms hidden under it. A surprised look on her face as she stared at Mina. Why was she being nice to her? She hadn’t spoke to her once after the fight. She seemed to always be glaring at her too from afar.

She was at a lost for words for a moment, looking to the three in her room quickly. Only growing more red in the cheeks. She noted Keiko’s raised eyebrow while she looked at Mina. Clearly Keiko could see there was something between mina and Jett, and friction between her and Kaida, though for the exact reason she didn’t understand. She had a knack for this stuff tho. Boys and Girls stuff. As well as all the big hero gossip. The girl looked familiar...as if she seen her somewhere before...like on tv maybe? But she clearly couldn’t place it. Her face scrunched up as she glanced at Jett as well. WHo was this new girl? How big of a threat was she to this budding romance?

Kaida looked back to Mina, clearly she had to say something cause neither Jett nor Keiko knew what happened obviously. She cleared her throat. ”U-u-m Yeah I’m ok now… I just got some really good burns on my body...and hit my head pretty hard…” She raised her hand to her neck, as if the mentioning of her burns flared them up. She could feel it pulsing on her neck. Which was covered in bandages, thankfully...her scales wouldn’t show. But she quickly hid her hands again, noticing her claws..though covered with the bandages as well, would be really obvious. She turned red even more and groaned inwardly.

“A group of men attacked us...they seemed to be really focused on Takeshi and Michiko.” She glanced over at Michiko who was stirring in her bed slightly. It was really scary, they were toying with us mostly...they were so strong. Roy got hurt really really bad trying to protect me….” she glanced at Roy, remembering what he did...how scared she got when he was smashed into the ground by that man… “Takeshi….Takeshi had it the worst...he lost his arm to those men… Reina she looked pretty beat up, but she was incredibly strong… while i… i just froze…” She wrapped her arms around her legs and pulled her knees tight to her chin.

After a moment she glanced back to Jett and smiled. ”But i didn’t realize you were so strong Jett.” She sat up a little more, her confidence back, remembering how he jumped in, and pushed the evil guy back. Taking her into his arms after brushing her hair to the side. She never knew what his quirk was till now. He’s been holding back ever since she met him. Even in the exercise! She wondered why he would do that.

While she said this, Jett pulled his head back confused. She thought HE saved her? He thought hard for a second...maybe it was her injuries playing tricks on her mind? She did say she received a few head wounds. But before he could correct her, she continued.
”To drive that man back and make that big of a crater...I dont get why as he was super strong himself...but he was clearly afraid of you... she said, not realizing it was because of the number of people that had arrived. I passed out right after he arrived. she said, looking to Mina. But he was in his suit and everything!

"When Lucius doesn't take advantage of the jojoke potential in his post. Feelsbadman."
Toru Ayanokoji

@Experiment 249 @Lucius Cypher@Silver Carrot

While it was predictable, Toru was a bit disappointed to see this potential prank group start to lose their motivation. At the moment, he wasn't entirely sure what kind of prank would be best when dealing with Amane, as he wasn't too familiar with the lad. Ayanokoji often enjoyed more spontaneous pranks on the unsuspecting, but a larger, more elaborate prank would only benefit from more intimate knowledge on the victim. For example, his likes, his dislikes, his habits, and his schedule. And while he could go ahead and ask someone here if they knew that much about the dude, at least two of them were ready to jump ship.

Toru raised his fingers to his chin. It would be bad for his reputation if he were to back off from a prank. That's his whole schtick! Well, aside from being a magician and pulling puns out of thin air regardless of the situation. He wondered if there was any acceptable prank he could cook up on the spot for them, but decided to explain himself to Seiko first since she was curious on how she could implement their quirks into a prank. Unlike herself, he turned to face her. "My Quirk is to not die if that helps."

She should thank him for such a great explanation, even if it was *probably* inaccurate. He hadn't died yet, so who knows?

"And as for a prank, I rather enjoy the suggestion Armed and Dangerous over here made." he was, of course, referring to Mamoru. "A classic nutshut wrapped so elaborately? Why count me in, I'm all for that."

Jett only grew more confused when Kaida continued with her story saying he saved her...calling him really strong. A slight clarity came from that but it didn’t really click for him right away as he was still taken back really that she thought he saved them from this group of villains. He glanced behind him to see Roy and Ruby standing there, roy glaring at him per usual today...was that why he was pissed at him? Cause he thought he did something he couldn’t?

It took a few seconds to realize the guy who saved her was his dad, wearing a version of his hero suit. He tended to use his companies prototypes and test them himself in the field. That and the fact she said he was super strong….which was his dads quirk, super strength. Gaining that ability from Jetts grandmothers side.

He scratched the back of his head looking back to Kaida and forcing a smile. Looking at her face and how it lit up, he would feel horrible if he ruined it for her. Especially when she’s in such pain. But at the same time it’s just as bad if he led her on.

”I- uh… He was at a loss for words.

Lance sighed as he walked up the stairs. Having just finished with the debriefing with police for the moment, and making sure Manda was settled and checking in with his wife and Yukari. He decided to check on the students he helped with. Really wanting to get more info on the boy who lost his arm. Having seen him fight, he was interested in helping him out. It would be a damn shame if his potential was wasted so early in his life.

That, and he also wanted to get the scoop on those villians on the side. He raised an eyebrow when hearing a commotion, something about Perv and the like, But he was tired and didn’t hurry his step. By the time he got to the top he noticed a blonde boy in a wheelchair and a dark haired girl making their way into a room. With Aurellia standing in the hallway. Hard not to miss her with her wings and platinum hair.

”Ah Ms. Nakamiji, good to see you are not harmed. He said with a smile. He was still in his gear, but his hood and mask was off. His face grew a little more serious.” What about the rest of your team? I noticed a few got hurt. Non serious I hope?” He stopped infront of the door to where his son was in. Glancing he noticed him right away, but didn’t make a move to enter. His attention coming back to the woman in front of him.

Acion Nakamiji

"Alright." Acion nodded, coordinating with Hitomi to lift her up and lead her out of the room to the infirmary. The winged man looked disgruntled, his eyebrows furrowed, wrinkles formed. He had seen too many students getting injured already. On the while the issue of the Shadow Clan was still hanging around in his mind. Perhaps Hitomi was right, somebody else could do the task that perhaps him and the Sky Knights just weren't privileged to be capable of solving. But what overshadowed it even more was the question if none could actually solve them.

It would still remain a fact that his involvement would be a must, unless being instructed otherwise.

All of a sudden, his senses kicked in, searing his nape like hot coal. He span his head around to see yet another version of Tomoe, someone a lot more sinister than the innocent and usually sleepy girl Tomoe that Acion knew. If a human eyes could hurt, then Acion would be bleeding right now. And he was close to. The only thing keeping him from it was his pure survival instinct, as one of his upper wings immediately curled in to block the claw from Tomoe - well 'dark Tomoe'. His right arm and other wings also moved subconsciously, backing the wing up. It was a strong attack. He wouldn't want to think what would happen to his face if that claw connected.

"I think you have to carry her alone then. Go!" He said clearly, sounding a little like a command. One would have to go either ways.

Once said, he turned back to the pink haired girl, trying to yank her claw out of his right wings.

"Listen, we're trying to help your friend here." Spoken the word of those who did not know. But already his left hand crept to a feather on his left wings, ready to pull it out for combat once necessary.

Aurelia Nakamiji

"I see. Thank you ma'am."

The Sky Defender bowed gently to the nurse who happened to be taking care of the two students that she was looking for. The chat with Ruby, who she was content to have a though short yet pleasant conversation with ended with Ruby and Roy having their own conversations. She was a nice girl, comparing to the other crazies in his class, cheerful and polite. It enabled Aurelia to focus on what she was intending to do. A few questions to the nurses and they happily gave her the info. Being well-known in this city had its merits, aside from a few fan mails that she couldn't care less.

They were ok though. The students. She really wondered how they got away with him though. But she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. Her job here was done. She'd had enough disinfectant for one day. It brought back bad memories. Though right before she could leave, however, a grown man with blonde hair approached her. She recognized the voice.

"Ah. Thank you for your concern." She replied, offering him a handshake. "And thank you for the assist earlier. We are all ok. The only one harmed is me, but it wasn't more than a bruise." It was that when the eyes of the Sky Knight's leader turned to the door leading to the room of those teenagers, her irises shrank a little. "They took more than me though. Not life-threatening, but it could possibly affect the hero career of some."

Especially that dude who lost the arm. He did say he'd continue nonetheless, but there was no doubt that his performance would not be top-peaked.

"Say, your timing and coordination at that shop was perfect. Have you encountered them before?" She proceeded to ask him.
