Welcome to Rosefell High. Located in Columbus Ohio, Rosefell is not known for being glamorous. A few things that it is known for however is over crowded classrooms, horrible lunches, and nearly non existent arts programs. Surprisingly enough, their sports teams are actually half decent, and have managed to put a few championships under their belt. It’s said that Rosefell is one of the worst schools in the state academically. The classrooms are overcrowded, teachers underpaid, and the dropout rates are high. Students often sneak drugs and alcohol into their lockers. Fights are more common than not, and detention always seems to be full. Follow your characters as they make their way through the struggle known as life.

Hey guys! Here we have another high school RP created by yours truly. First off, thanks so much for the interest! Secondly - in this RP, we will be playing Junior and Senior (Grades 11 & 12) students at Rosefell High School. The RP will follow your characters as they struggle with relationships, grades, and the like while the GM will create different scenarios for the characters to be in. Our goal is to try and make it all the way to the end of the RP, with the end being prom and graduation.

• First and for most, this is a character driven RP. Make sure that you communicate with your fellow writers outside of the RP, as well as having your characters interact IC wise.
• The writing expectations for this RP is that of casual. I will expect two well written paragraphs for each post minimum. More is great, though quality over quantity is best!
• The maximum amount of time between posts allowed for this RP is Fourteen days. I will expect one post for each of your characters every fourteen days. Deadlines will be every other Sunday at Midnight, Pacific Standard time. Extensions will be given until the following Wednesday if needed. Communication is key, and if you are not going to be able to post for a decent amount of time, DM/PM me and we'll try to work something out. If you work with me, I will do my best to work with you.
• If you miss a deadline, your characters will be put on hiatus until the next deadline. For example, if you miss a post for the second, you will not be able to post with your characters until the sixteenth. If you go hiatus twice, you will be removed from the RP. Being stuck in a collab is not an excuse for missing a deadline.
• To let me know that you have read the rules, put what your favorite thing about Christmas is in the extra section of your character sheet.
• There will be alcohol, drugs, and romance in this RP. You have been warned. Please keep your steamy scenes as fade to black.
• Please allow two people to post before you post again. This does not include if you are posting separately for your characters back to back.
• If you have any questions, comments, or concerns - please PM/DM me and I will address them to the best of my ability. Same goes if tou are having any problems with any of the writers in the group.

• This should go without saying, but no Mary-Sue or Gary-Stu characters!
• There is a three character limit for this RP - but please DO NOT take on more than you can handle. Give all of your characters equal attention. Please try and keep the gender ratios even! It's not required, but if I see we have way to many of one gender as opposed to the other, I will enforce this rule.
• Real life faceclaims only!! Your faceclaim needs to look around the age of 16-18 as that is the ages of the characters we will be playing. GM has the right to deny and faceclaim they feel does not meet this criteria.
• You are allowed to customize the character sheet any way you feel like, just so long as you do not remove any sections.
• Please post completed character sheets in the OOC for GM review. GM reserves the right to accept, deny, or make suggestions to your sheet as they see fit.

Samantha stands at a stout 5'5" and weighs a mere 115 lbs on a very small frame. Her hair is primarily a light brown with a few blonde highlights added in artificially. Samantha is very rarely seen without her signature makeup on -- eyeliner, concealer, foundation... the works! You'd have to catch her in very private and intimate moments to see her without her makeup on. It helps her disguise one of her biggest insecurities. Additionally, Samantha tends to wear clothing on the tighter side. Leggings, small t-shirts, and tank-tops make up a significant amount of her wardrobe, despite the rather not-ideal climate of Ohio. Samantha does not have any piercings at this time, but Samantha very so desperately wants to get a Sailor Moon symbol tattooed on her wrist.

Samantha can be described as a very ambitious girl who is also very much a go-getter. Samantha is surprisingly very adept at reading people and knowing what it takes to please people and whatever else they want. She is also rather self-centered and has very little regard for relationships and feelings, especially if they get in her way. Samantha has learned how to employ a high amount of energy and charisma to her advantage to further assist her toward achieving her goals. Additionally, she values her own goals and ambitions very highly, and she will do whatever it takes to get whatever edge she can on her journey to achieve her goals, even if it may be at the cost of other people and their well-being.

Samantha Queen was adopted from an orphanage in Cleveland, Ohio at a mere six months old by Isaac and Erin Queen. The two had decided from early on in their relationship that they weren't exactly enthusiastic about the prospect of having kids of their own when there were many kids in foster homes and orphanages across the entire world. They didn't have to go very far, however, to find Samantha. They just took one look at her lil baby lookin' ass and they fell in love! It didn't take much longer for them to adopt her into their family.

Little did Isaac and Erin know, their style of parenting was very enabling, which contributed to why Samantha is the way that she is today. The slightest hint of negative emotion from Samantha meant that Erin and Isaac dropped whatever the heck they were doing and appeased Samantha however they could. That meant Samantha got whatever she wanted, and she started to learn just how she could accomplish such a feat. As a result, she managed to get her parents to get her an assortment of video games since they appealed to her and she took quite a liking to them, despite her supposed lack of skill in them.

Today, she has a following on social media as she streams twice a week to her audience. Many people tune in to watch her play video games for hours at a time, not knowing that Samantha is still in high school. She manages to squeeze a decent amount of money from them, and has no intention of stopping, and every intention of squeezing even more money from them in the future.

Oliver was birthed in London, England, where he spent most of his life alongside his parents. He's the only child between the duo and that's the way they liked it because one child was easy for them to manage during that time. Oliver received just about whatever he wanted growing up, yes his parents spoiled him to the extreme. Although they didn't have many funds to do so, they got it to him whenever they could. Of course, Oliver hardly ever complained just as long as it got his gift or gifts eventually. But unfortunately, a time came when they had to pack it up and move to the states because his mother and father both found better jobs there. They moved to Ohio and boy, Oliver misses London so much that he begs his parents to go back there almost every single day.

Since being in Ohio and going to a new school, he's made some friends, enemies and might've even hooked up with some of the folks there, too. Despite having a significant other in London but he doesn't do long-distance relationships but they can't get it through their thick skull. In his mind, he's single and more than ready to mingle. Oliver has been in two fights, as well because some folks like to pick on him about his accent, which he cannot help. His parents are strongly considering sending him back to London if he gets into one more fight. Oliver is just trying to make it through his last year of high school unscathed from everything.

Tall, thin, and lean, at six-foot-one, Alex is a guy who’s noticed when walking in crowds, even if he doesn’t want to be. He dresses as though he were pulled from the 1990s, always with the black grunge aesthetic, and long dark shaggy unkempt hair which sometimes obscured half of his face. His skin is fairly pale and he has a single tattoo on his left arm, the Norse symbol “Vegvísir”, which he did to himself with a sewing needle and india ink on a whim (Something his father still hasn’t forgiven him for doing). Occasionally he has a cigarette or toothpick dangling from his lips, a terrible habit born out of anxiety, and something he keeps on the down low.

Personality Traits

Despite how he acts sometimes, Alex is highly intelligent, yet introverted for the most part, and the socially awkward side of him isn’t too far behind. But over time, and under the right conditions, he can be less rigid and a little more talkative to those he trusts. He tends to feel more at home surrounded by his many artistic endeavors, or behind a camera, capturing other people or places. He’s a neat freak, and has bouts of OCD, especially when it comes to his own stuff. “Everything has it’s place.” He’ll often comment under his breath.

What you will find however, is the more you get to know him, the more you realize that he is a nice guy with a kind heart. It’s simply peeling past all the layers of insecurity that need to be dealt with first.

Biography

Alex was usually one not to push, but rather let the cards fall where they may. Growing up as an only child in a middle class family, he had a fairly good upbringing. Both parents were pretty typical, both loved one another, but argued over the dumbest of shit almost on a daily. Overall, childhood was easy in suburban Pennsylvania.

Easy, until an accident took his mother’s life, and left a void so large in the twelve year old’s heart and soul, that he found himself reaching for a purpose. He was like any kid before, just out playing, being social, being active. But after the tragedy, he wanted nothing to do with anyone, or anything. As time passed, his father had remarried, and it was his step-mother who introduced the boy to art as a way to express himself in any way he chose. It was an outlet that allow him to pour all of the pent up anger, fear and sorrow into each drawing, painting, or photo. He’d found his purpose once again. To create. And art was his only friend.

During the summer between his junior and senior years, his family moved to Columbus, Ohio, where his father landed a new job. The move was tough, considering Alex had to leave all his friends, his school, and his hangouts, and “fitting in” was not something he was ready for. Friends were different, bad habits were formed, and it was now his senior year in a new school where he really didn’t want to be at times, and perhaps other times, it was just where he needed to be.

Sighing and rolling her eyes at the back of the class is where you will find Aramintah. Her motivation in school has hit an all time low and she would rather do anything else than to attend her classes. But as soon as someone mentions something fun to do she will be there with her full attention to help out. Say you want to play a prank on the jocks of the football team? Minah will offer to be the lookout or distraction. As long as she can be part of something that will cause some trouble. But if it doesn’t go as she had planned she will let you know and make sure she gets her way through.

Biography

During her gap year after graduate school Elin Wallenberg decided to travel around in South East Asia with a few friends. The gang decided to end their trip in Malaysia, and for their first night they planned a wild night out in Kuala Lumpur. While at a rooftop bar Elin caught the eye of the bartender Rohan Goh and they really hit it of. One thing led to another and they ended up spending the night together. It was like a thunderbolt hit the couple and they spent Elin’s last days wrapped up in eachother.

The couple tried long distance for two years before they couldn’t handle it anymore and with the help of Elin’s father, a big banker with a lot of connections, they finally got Rohan over to Ohio. They settled in nicely in Columbus in a small house after getting married. Soon after that they had their first child a sweet boy named Iwan.

Two years after on an April afternoon their little family was completed with a baby girl that they named Aramintah. Elin was ecstatic since she wanted a girl that she could dote over. So growing up Minah was pushed into all sort of activities that her mother thought a little girl should be in like: Ballet, piano and horseback riding. But nothing ever stuck with Minah so she usually would just stand in the corner and scream until her mother would give up and take her home. The only thing Minah wanted to do was to draw or paint.

Growing up Minah has had the pressure to follow in her perfect brothers footsteps. Iwan got straight A’s, Iwan has a plan to become a lawyer and Iwan likes to help around the house. And Aramintah just stands behind her brother rolling her eyes and sighing. Since she is now the only child in the house the spotlight has been put on her and both of her parents have put even more pressure for her to at least graduate high school.
