C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ___________________________________________________________________________________ With Hawkman, I set out to devise a pulp-style story in the vein of Raiders of the Lost Ark. I've set about narrowing down the convoluted history and backstory of the Hawks and devised a pathway forward using their reincarnation cycle but not to the extreme end that the DC did with the 2018 run. There isn't countless variations of Hawkman across time and the multiverse. Instead there is one clear lineage starting with a warrior from Thanagar and ending at the present archaeologist. Re-reading a lot of the more modern Hawkman comics (1989 onwards), I've come to realize just how often the Hawks dealt with not only the supernatural and grotesque, but also the consequences of their own actions, typically through their past lives. In addition to their primary antagonist, Hath-Set, the Hawks fight a lot of foes who through one circumstance or another have come back to haunt them from a previous existence. I think there's a lot of potential story telling in these threads and would love to explore the themes of poetic justice, consequence and sort of a 'sins of the father'. Supporting this adventure is a relatively new character in the form of Yara Flor who will be acting as Carter's grad student. Additionally, he will be joining forces with a rival archaeologist using an adapted version of Elsa Bloodstone. The initial plot will take our heroes deep in South America in search of the legendary city of El Dorado but along the way uncover a much more sinister plot to plunge the world in an eternal night. The Hawks through their reincarnation cycle have a long lineage of heroes and in addition to the above, I'm also hoping to explore their relation to Hector Hall (ideally as Dr. Fate) and the heroes Hawk and Dove. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) __________________________________________________________________________________ My long term goals with Hawkman are to introduce both Hawkgirl and Yara Flor as her wondrous alter-ego. Given the pulp inspiration, I'm ideally going to have shorter, more action packed stories with romance and drama sprinkled in. Romance being a key element of the Hawks, I'd love to build to getting Carter and Shayera reunited, but tragedy often follows them, so there's no way of knowing which way this will unfold. Looking at the greater scope of the RP, I'd love to develop relations with all generations of heroes. With Carter and Shayera having lived multiple lives, I envision the possibility that they were part of the Justice Society or an equivalent 1940s era team.

A cesspool built from Gotham's runoff, anything that doesn't put roots down in Gotham gets flushed into the city-like sewer known as Blüdhaven. A port town, Blüdhaven got its start as a whaling town before becoming an industrial port. The sky is layered in a thick cloud of smog, while streets are constantly filled with fog due to the miles of antique boiler pipe laid beneath cobblestone streets hastily repaired with asphalt and concrete. But for a brief moment, the city had hope in the form of its very own Bright Knight. Richard 'Dick' Grayson, the former protegé and Robin of Gotham's Batman, outgrew the shadow of his mentor's cape and, after a soul-finding journey, adopted a symbol of rebirth he learned from a distant Romani relative. From the ashes of Robin rose Nightwing, who took to the streets of Blüdhaven, using the best tricks learned from the Bat to inject fear into the superstitious and cowardly lot that preyed on the vulnerable. But years of war against the crimelord known as Blockbuster took their toll, eventually driving Dick Grayson to his breaking point, and in a final confrontation, Dick was left maimed and traumatized while Blockbuster was killed. A former vigilante turned recluse, Dick Grayson has reluctantly enjoyed a simpler life, managing a gymnastics facility and becoming a superintendent over a small apartment complex. However, a new Nightwing has appeared in Blüdhaven, and with it, a trail of bodies, brutally killed by blunt force trauma. Unable to allow his legacy to be tarnished and fear turned against the people of Blüdhaven, Dick is forced out of his mandated retirement. The Bright Knight Returns. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) __________________________________________________________________________________ As most of you already know, Dick Grayson is my favourite character in all of comics, and Batman Beyond was a show I basically grew up on. The idea of combining the two is highly appealing revisiting some of my favourite posts I've written over the years with Terry in the tights and a reluctant Dick playing the role of the guy in the chair. Will Dick recover from his injury? I doubt it, but a story of mistaken identity and legacy is certainly looking like a lot of fun to write while also integrating both Dick and Terry into a larger world that contains allies and foes alike from their respective histories. What you as a reader can expect are episodic posts exploring Terry growing into his new role as the protector of Blüdhaven while Dick is forced to rapidly mature as a mentor and perpetual big brother, founding his own 'Wing-family' with the help of everyone's favourite black sheep, Helena Bertinelli.

As the story continues and the darker side of the Academy’s mission is revealed Zatanna will eventually uncover that he is actually Strange Supreme, seeking to harness the magic of this reality to save his own. ◼ Khalid Nassour - Unlike the mainline version where the Helmet of Fate is a chaotic burden, here the Helmet of Nabu is a Legacy Asset owned by the Academy. Khalid is the star pupil of the theology department, groomed to be the Academy's ultimate arbiter. Khalid is the perfect "Company Man." He believes the Academy’s containment is the only thing preventing a second Dark Age. He is Zatanna’s closest friend, but also the person most likely to catch her in a lie. He doesn't realize that the Helmet is slowly overwriting his personality to suit the Academy's needs. ◼ Magik (Illyana Rasputin) - A recent addition to the student body despite being of similar age to Zatanna and Khalid, having 'escaped' from the realm of Limbo only to be 'recruited' by the Academy. A ‘bad influence’ on Zatanna that encourages rebellion while also being an increasingly important part of the Academy’s hero response. ◼ The Runaways - The Academy detects "pockets of anomalous energy" in a low-income urban area. These are children whose powers have manifested naturally outside the Academy’s controlled bloodlines. An early arc rescue target for Zatanna who will become more ongoing younger students for her to help. A N T A G O N I S T S ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ ◼ Hellion (Julian Keller) - Coming from a wealthy family with even greater arcane connections, Julian represents the students who view magic as a birthright of power. He is the leader of a clique that bullies those with "lesser" or "messy" powers. A foil to Zatanna’s similarly privileged background. ◼ Mister Misery - An entity which serves as the Head of Security, Groundskeeper and ultimate weapon of the Academy. A demntor-esque foe for the more rebellious members of the Academy to deal with. Initially the antagonist of the more lighthearted student drama of the Academy, the full power of the being will eventually be a true threat to Zatanna should she rebel too fiercely. ◼ The Cult of the Empty Hand - The bad guys of the Academy's mission, servants of the Otherkind. The aim of this dark organisation is to undo any restraints on magical power, certainly at the expense of civilisation. C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ___________________________________________________________________________________ Originally I was planning a concept that would adapt Mutants and the Xavier Institute, but I thought an idea that blended aspects of Marvel and DC together would be a more interesting combined reality project. In this, Zatanna Zatara is the star student of Strange Academy, within which she has spent most of her life following the early deaths of her parents. As well as connecting the magical worlds of both Marvel and DC, this in part also amalgamates her mainline and absolute backgrounds. She was still very much a child of privilege and prosperity, but lost her family early and is still hunted by the forces that brought an end to her father. At the start of the game Zatanna is in the position of considering what a life separate from the Academy will be for her, even as she has become a mentor and support for more recent additions to the magical society. The Academy, as is typical of such organisations in comics, is a combined educational, containment and preservation organisation. The majority of its inhabitants may be there for their own learning and safety, but some, such as Zatanna, are expecting to act on the world, to put their magical arts to heroic use. Although she may be one of the most prominent members of the Academy student body, she has begun to feel considerable doubts about the organisation and her own role, whether the level of containment and coercion are really just even with the dangers that magic can create. Her curiosity and ambition have often been encouraged within the Academy, but now they are starting to outstrip the boundaries set for her in a way that could lead to greater self discovery, or self destruction. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) __________________________________________________________________________________ With the initial goal of a concept that links Marvel and DCs magical worlds together for the purpose of the RP, the prominent story of Zatanna will combine elements of Dark Academia Slice of Life with Superhero action. As this was adapted from an initial idea I had, this pulls inspiration from the X-men / Xavier in the educational facility for those with gifts they often can’t control, with the added element of finding and preserving magical locations/artifacts on top of just the students themselves. Ultimately, Zatanna’s misgivings won’t just be a question of personal growth and ‘what to I do beyond this’ but also a building suspicion that things are not quite right at Strange Academy, that the hoarding of magical learning, power and artifacts is not entirely a positive and whether this is an accidental danger of so conservative an approach or a deliberate nefarious effort. She will have to question the people who have raised her, deconstructing how much of her world view could be indoctrination and what is good sense, and whether they have been strangling her potential to both do good and find her true self. This is when the concept turns from a somewhat more lighthearted Academia/hero story to one toying with conspiracy and potential dystopia. I am hoping this will both be an interesting concept to write/read, but also open up a lot of interaction with other characters.

He feels bereft, lonely, and unsure of what his purpose is or what he should be doing with his life, lost without the guidance of his father. Dane Whitman is unaware that many people sacrifice themselves silently and in secret for the sake of a people who will never even know they existed at all. Dane Whitman is unaware that his family line is centuries-old and defined by quiet magnanimity. Dane Whitman is unaware that sometimes, Destiny gets bored waiting to be found, and sometimes decides to come right to you instead. Dane Whitman is about to discover who he really is. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) __________________________________________________________________________________ After realizing Gotham Nights just wasn't cutting the mustard for me, I went back to the drawing board and went looking for something completely fresh - something I'd never done before, never even considered before, barely even knew existed before. I scoured comic runs and franchise characters, looking for new things. Then I found Dane Whitman and the Black Knight and the Ebony Blade, and the legacy of his ancestry, and then I fell down a rabbit-hole of Arthurian myth, and then I started getting excited. This will be an origin story for Dane Whitman, the next incarnation of Marvel's Black Knight, the fated guardian of the Ebony Blade; he will grapple with this secret family legacy and the weight of the task now assigned to him, unwitting and unrequested; he will discover a world just behind the one he's lived in for two-and-a-half decades, that's not about to slow down to accommodate him; he will be forced to learn what being noble and virtuous and honourable really means. Uniquely for me, it's also a perfect character and story for heavy interaction; how better to learn how to be a hero than from those who are already out there fighting the good fight? How better to battle monsters and slay dragons than with a little help from your friends? How better to get used to this strange new world of heroics and villainy than immersing yourself in it completely? It's fresh. It's new. It's swords and shields, Knights and Maidens, mythology and folklore and the modern era. It's Black Knight, baby.

C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ___________________________________________________________________________________ This is my attempt to blend my two favorite Sojourner Mullein runs: the original Far Sector and the utterly fantastic Absolute Green Lantern run. In this continuity, Jo's one year tenure as the City Enduring's 'sheriff' has turned into a decade long posting at the frontier of known space- a place so distant from Oa that her sector has no official numerical designation. She's built a life in the City Enduring: she has a voice on the Trilogy council, oversaw the return of emotions for twenty billion souls, and married Syzn of the Cliffs, by the Streaking Ice. Just as she allowed herself to feel comfortable, disaster struck. The preeminent Green Lantern of Earth, Hal Jordan, is dead. Murdered by forces unknown. Worse still, his ring refuses to seek out a replacement. While Guy Gardner and Jon Stewart are busy protecting the most chaotic sector in the galaxy, the Guardians of the Universe have elected Sojourner Mullein to investigate Jordan's death. She's forced to leave her new life behind, returning to a world so far in her rear view it may as well be alien. The Green Lantern Corps and the other flavors of the emotional spectrum are all present and well established, both to act as background for my own run as well as to leave other players plenty of toys in the sandbox- if they want them. I'm more than keen to establish the cosmic side of the game if there's interest in that. If other players want to write for the Corps, I'm happy to make room. Characters like Guy, John and Simon will feature in my stuff but their roles aren't so vital that they're unavailable to interested parties. And Kyle, Jessica, Jade and Alan are completely off my radar. Hal Jordan's a fucking corpse, though. Sorry. As for my solo act, Sojourner Mullein is not a traditional green lantern. Her power ring is designed in such a way that it has a lower power ceiling than an ordinary variant, but its self-charging, requiring no trip back to a power battery to juice up. That makes it poorly suited for knock down, drag out fights with Atrocitus or Sinestro. For Sojourner, its an investigator's tool: a means to see that which cannot ordinarily be seen, go where she could not ordinarily go, and a way to dig up the secrets people try to bury.

Rather than beginning with an already-established hero, I’m interested in exploring the moment where Buffy’s story intersects with the mythology of Themyscira and leans into my love of Greek mythology. Alongside this, I’ll be introducing elements of supernatural lore drawn from Buffy the Vampire Slayer; vampires, demons, Old Ones, and other creatures that translate naturally into a comic-style world and expand the kinds of threats and stories available particularly with some of the characters I have already seen listed - I see crossover potential for sure. I’m drawn to the idea that the mythology of the Vampire Slayer and the legends of Themyscira can be woven together into the origin of a different kind of Wonder Woman and rather than erasing the darker beginnings of the Slayer line, I want to keep them central. The Shadow Men still exist and the Slayer still begins as an act of forced creation with power drawn from demons then imposed on a girl to turn her into a weapon, with the Watcher's Council playing an antagonistic role in this. At this point in the story she has not yet faced the First Evil or awakened the Slayer line... But she has died. She is still the "only" Slayer, still carrying that burden alone. The discovery of the Scythe and the connection to Themyscira therefore marks the beginning of a deeper and more complicated destiny. I plan to write with several familiar characters: Willow, Spike, Andrew, and Faith, with the Scooby circle still playing an important role in Buffy’s story. I’ll also be bringing Cordelia back into the narrative, rewriting the strange and unfair direction her story took in Angel. My intention is to tell a story about the evolution of the Slayer toward something larger and more mythic. Buffy will still be surrounded by the people who helped her survive her early battles, but as the story unfolds she will begin to encounter forces and histories that push her beyond the traditional Slayer role and toward a new destiny connected to the Amazons. At the end of the day I'm just a lifelong Slayerverse fan, and to me, Buffy is Wonder Woman. I want to get nerdy with a load of my comfort characters and go balls to the wall with it.

C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ___________________________________________________________________________________ I don't intend to reinvent the wheel, but I'm harkening back to his early appearances in the comics by having him be generally mysterious as opposed to being everyone's friend who's already earned the public's trust. He's been saving people since he was a teenager, more or less doing the Superboy thing, but has only started wearing the suit and going by the other moniker for a year. Otherwise, people have only really known him as a powerful gust of wind, a streak of red and blue, or the rare eyewitness account - like any cryptid or alien sighting, but on an active scale. The big change I want to make is to move the action away from Metropolis. Lois is actively covering LexCorp's misdeeds, and Lex has taken the company worldwide. So she and Clark are on assignment out of the country, far too busy to focus on one city. By expanding the scope of the adventures, I want to make whenever they do appear in Metropolis be that much more meaningful. Clark hasn't even actually set roots there, he's still staying on the farm back at home on the rare occasion he isn't saving the world or doing his job as a reporter. Another change I want to make is that, apart from Ma and Pa, Superman has nobody in his corner right now. Lois has been burned too many times by powerful people claiming to be benevolent, so she's a skeptic. Jimmy is nobody's pal at first, acting as a rival of Lois and Clark while freelancing through Flamebird, an indie news outlet. And Lex is Lex - the sooner this interloper is burned to ash, the better. Clark Kent, glasses edition, is the side of him that'll develop interpersonal relationships. He's still a little new to the Planet, tagging along with Lois as she travels across the world on a tear to unseat Luthor from power. Clark is the one who really develops as the core of who Superman is. Since I want to stress Clark not being focused on saving Metropolis more than the world itself, he can appear anywhere at basically any time and lend a hand. And it feeds into the ongoing narrative to have him do that, since if he appeared strictly in the places Lois and Clark are stationed, he'd arouse suspicion. My hope is that I can develop him and his supporting cast to a point that I can tell interesting stories with everyone, not just Superman, and start to go places that the comics either haven't or have barely tackled. As for the narrative, LexCorp is up to no good and powerful enemies are born as a result of that no-gooded-ness. But there may be others that look to try and oppose LexCorp with a more destructive approach, forcing Superman to have to step in and stop the world's most powerful man... and sometimes protect him.

In his day job, Vic delves into esoteric history books, conducts interviews with experts, and heads out into the field, all in search of the truth behind the myths and legends of Illinois. At night, he dons his faceless mask to investigate the supernatural underbelly of Hub City and the surrounding towns in Cowan County, occasionally crossing paths with the criminal element as well. T H E S T O R Y S O F A R... T H E S T O R Y S O F A R... ___________________________________________________________________________________ Eighty-one years ago, love bloomed upon the battlefield. Steve Rogers, The hero known as Captain America, and US agent Peggy Carter would find each other through the chaos of World War II, producing a son together after the war had been won. James Buchanan Rogers would be something special, the super soldier serum pumping through his veins thanks to has father being the world's first super soldier. A widely sought after child, Steve and Peggy were constantly having to protect the child from forces that wanted to take him for their own agendas. James, aka Bucky as coined by his father, would grow up within SHIELD, the agency started by his mother, always watching his parents do what they do best, fight the good fight. Eventually the role of sidekick would be bestowed upon the boy, learning and fighting against those that would seek to harm the people of America, a strenuous activity that many a times left Steve and James at odds, James feeling as though his father held him to impossible standards. This would lead to one of the most pivotal turning points of their lives. A sect of HYDRA would attempt to assassinate Steve Rogers, bringing down an entire building. Fortunately Steve survived the attack, unfortunately Peggy Carter would not survive the attack and Bucky would end up losing his left arm. This would create a lasting rift between Steve and Bucky, the son believing that they could have done more to protect Peggy while the husband fell into a depressive state, unable to comfort his son. Peggy's death would push Bucky to acquiring a metal arm and becoming a shadow agent under SHEILD. IF he couldn't bring peace to the world in the way his father once did, then he'd do it from the shadows, doing the things that would not be deemed heroic. Steve Rogers may face the world eye to eye but Bucky slits the throat of those that seek to harm it. The intrigue of changing the relationship between Steve and Bucky from best friends to father and son is high and brings forth different ideas that I can delve into. Bucky will eventually become Captain America and he has to learn what it takes to be Captain America. In the comics, he only took the mantle to preserve Steve's legacy and disliked it while I want him to willingly decide to be Cap, have the hope for the world that his father lost while still being different in how he handles situations. Also his story will facilitate the rise of HYDRA in the present era, which should open avenues for events. In regards to being a traveling hero, Bucky will travel at times. I want to do as many crossovers as possible and build the world.

The idea of vigilantism and freedom is long forgotten. Almost everyone in New York is complacent under the rule of multiple dictators running the show. Police are watching your every move, and the law is bendable and abused by those in power. The media dictates what you can and can’t do. It feels like a prison, but it makes people think they are ‘safe’ at the expense of their subservience. Well, it's time to break the Anarchy glass and bring the power back to the people. By now, you all know about the Catholic blind lawyer wearing spandex’s background and backstory, and his hot ninja assassin girlfriend/enemy, right? Well, this is my attempt at retconning it and reshaping Daredevil’s world on my own take. My concept begins where Matt’s and Elektra’s life starts at year one (again). But instead of being a lawyer, Matt became a man of the cloth, an ex-boxer turned blind pastor with his radar sense still intact. He is happily married to Elektra, a district attorney in this setting, who has her own past of being a super soldier in Japan. The couple’s mundane life soon changes, as they meet a fugitive named Sticks, making them realize that despite their law-abiding and clean-nosed record, Corruption isn’t going anywhere and the system always finds its way to bring trouble to them. The people need their devilish guardian, and must don their red suits to fight it together. As for the devil’s playground, the New York Matt knew had changed drastically ; It is run and controlled by Mayor Fisk and the Hand. It's much more dangerous out on the streets as a bunch of Daredevil wannabees is using his identity, and his rogue gallery is much deadlier and more monstrously enhanced. Can Matt and Elektra, a match made in hell, overcome the injustice of this dystopian, dastardly, deadly, diminished, dysfunctional Big Apple? We all know the Daredevil formula works well in an oppressive crime setting, and Matt being hunted for defying a corrupt justice system is just a regular tuesday for him. My goal is to portray the devil couple on a different level of the playing field while keeping the essence of their character intact, and their villains are inspired by the level of craziness of the Absolute Batman. I really like the Red Fist storyline from Daredevil, and the twisted versions of Absolute Batman’s rogue gallery, so I decided to mash them together to create this beautiful mess. The collab is rather limited since the majority of both daredevils are staying in New York, but doesn't mean we can't work something. What’s the deal here? I’ve always thought that among the worlds of anime and manga, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure was the absolute closest fit to what happens in Marvel and DC comics, even counting straight up superhero manga like One Punch Man or My Hero Academia. Here’s the story of beautiful men in crazy tights battling each other for the fate of the world with fantastical powers that come from their very souls, in a world that critically looks a lot like our own. Unlike a lot of anime, which put tremendous effort into crafting unique settings, JoJo’s often feels like a period piece, rooted in the era and location it takes place in, whether we’re in 1800s England or galavanting around the Middle East in the 1980s. The truth is, a lot of my storytelling in these games has been inspired specifically by JoJo’s, so I wanted to take it back to the roots and see what I can do with it by making the inspiration more explicit. Here, I want to pair Jotaro with Joe Fixit as a harder edge compared to Jotaro’s more straightforward Clint Eastwood-style aspirations of heroism. Joe’s talents as street tough and wiseass will compliment Jotaro’s experiences as a globe trotting hero, and the pair will be able to bond over their unique family situations. Together, I hope to send the pair to explore the edges of this amalgamated universe, teasing at the edges of our canon. This game has uniquely broadened the scope of allowable concepts, this run hopes to ask why, both in universe and out. With the ability to transform into a range of alien heroes, Ben spent the summer travelling the country and fighting threats of every kind. He faced Dr. Animo’s mutant creations, an unstable power-stealing mutant named Kevin, and the Forever Knights, a secretive order of alien-hating zealots who hoarded extraterrestrial weaponry and hunted anything not born on Earth. What Ben did not know was that the crash that started it all was no accident. Vilgax, a galactic warlord obsessed with conquering the universe, had attacked the transport ship carrying the Omnitrix and tracked it to Earth. When he finally struck, Ben barely survived the encounter. The battle triggered a catastrophic overload within the watch, and to stop it from detonating and destroying half the universe, Ben launched himself into space to find a way to shut it down. That was five years ago. One crisis after another left him stranded on the far edges of the galaxy. He grew stronger, fought new enemies, and travelled alongside smugglers, rebels, a trigger-happy raccoon, and a talking tree. It was the adventure of a lifetime, but all he wanted was to go home. His chance finally came when S.W.O.R.D. detected his drifting ship entering their territory. But returning to Earth is not the relief he hoped for. The world has changed since he left, and new threats and old enemies await him. As such, I always wanted to have a go at writing him, especially in a singular universe setting like this, as I feel he is perfect for collaboration with other heroes, both cosmic and earthbound. It also gives me a great opportunity to make use of some new alien forms based on this universe. Ben is definitely a character who does well in a grittier setting, as shown throughout the sequel series, so that's definitely something I intend to touch on here. Organisations like S.W.O.R.D. make such a good foil for idealistic heroes like Ben, who aren't fans of being managed. Especially by morally ambiguous characters like Abigail Brand. On top of all of this, Ben is a very easy character to do some good classic "monster of the week" adventures, with his large roster of heroes being a great way to mix up the action. My stories will definitely be earth-bound for the most part, although I do have more cosmic-scale plans for Vilgax, which I intend to build up in the background.

C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ___________________________________________________________________________________ Heavily inspired by Mirage's City at War arc, their cancelled Gang Wars arc, IDW's early run, and Mutant Mayhem, I want to focus on the street level aspect more so than the sci-fi elements (not that means it's discarded). And, incorporating Silverstein's concept of NYC as a den of organized criminality and corruption, I want both the Purple Dragons and the Foot Clan to be part of the problem. Of course, the solution involves a couple of turtles who were taught ninjutsu by their master/father. As far as backstory, it remains largely the same as every interpretation: Hamato Yoshi gets exposed to a canister of "ooze" and mutates into a humanoid rat. Four turtles are also exposed, and he takes them in under his watch, calling himself Master Splinter. And in a world that would soon treat them as monsters, they are forced to take refuge in the sewer system of the city. Fifteen years later, the turtles still long to live among humans their age despite Splinter's rhetoric. While on the surface, inspiring investigative reporter April O'Neil has secured an internship at the Daily Bugle under the guidance of Pulitzer Prize winner Robbie Robertson. Casey Jones, a star hockey player at his high school, dons his goalie mask to protect his neighborhood from the encroaching Purple Dragons as a vigilante. And Keno Andrada struggles to balance maintaining good grades with working at a pizzeria as the world around him rapidly deteriorates. And that's the gist. I would like to introduce Agent Bishop if I manage to complete my initial arc and slowly bring in the sci-fi element known in the TMNTverse. As stated before, the starting arc will lean towards street level with a slice of life element as the turtles venture into the surface, do vigilante stuff on the side, and eat pizza on random rooftops after an eventful night. There will be hints of the sci-fi aspect, but it won't be the main focus of this arc. And I will also write about the human characters who will eventually meet the turtles, either by complete accident. I would like to get in touch with Silverstein to see how the Foot and Purple Dragons would fit into the overall situation in New York City. But besides that, I envision that the gang has a heavy presence in the East Village and Lower East Side. While the clan would already be known in the underworld as feared and ruthless assassins across East Asia long before they established a foothold in the United States. It would also be interesting to see what the relationship dynamics would be like with The Hand. Collabs would be limited to characters that reside in NYC, given it won't make too much sense for the turtles to go on a cross-country trip, and I'm a busser for a pizzeria, funny enough. Still, I won't mind them meeting up with the daredevils or any spiders that are roaming around the city.

Her ability to transform could occasionally offer her some respite, but it was a hollow facade, not so different from her occasional work alongside the Brotherhood of Mutants, so dedicated to liberating mutants while she herself was forced into a cage of guilt. But she met a boy who made sparks fly in more ways than one. Remy LeBeau was a blessing, but man that fucking kid was crazy. Crazy enough to make a move on her even knowing the risks. He was bad for her like she was bad for him. They were crazy but so was the whole fucked up world. Stealing a car, the two would find their own corner to make their own, come hell or high water. I like to experiment with different themes and stories. The one trait I have always followed is my desire to do proper capeshit. Largely Sci-Fi based. This time, we're going in the other direction. Do I need to spell out the exact origin? Frank Castle was raised, joined the military, served in practically every theatre of combat, and eventually became a training officer stateside. Until one day he's sat with his family at a local park having a picnic, where they are caught in the crossfire of a Mafia battle. His family die before his eyes, and a court case prevents him from being deployed. The guilt and the rage eat away at him; the perps walk free on a technicality. The Punisher is born. The Punisher tears through the criminal underworld. Some brand him a vigilante, others a murderer; the authorities call him a terrorist. He singlehandedly tears through the crime family that killed his family in cold blood, then, in the wake of 9/11 he disappears to the Middle East. His sightings inconsistent. Some American Soldiers claim to have been saved by him in the last second in a particularly harrowing ambush, then a week later, miles away, he volunteers to defend a girls' school from insurgents until backup arrives. Occasionally, an allied soldier is killed, but before a manhunt can ensue, evidence is discovered of their abuse and wrongdoing. All sightings end as Frank is recruited to Task Force X, until one day. He has finally had enough, and he retires. Amanda Waller tries to convince him to stay, but fails to intimidate him. The Punisher is doomed to the pages of history, or so he believed. I have a story planend out in my head, I have story beats and I have little tracks I'm going to go down in the process of telling that wider arching story. Frank is retired, his family, military life and Task Force X days are all behind him, or so he feels. I can't add too much to the backstory due to how I want to tie things in and together, so I hope what I have given is enough to whet some appetites. I will be open to interaction, and all the issues doing so with Punisher includes.

C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ___________________________________________________________________________________ Peter got bit by the spider in 2002, learned the big lesson in power and responsibility, and a rough version of all the big events from the comics spun out from there - barring a few exceptions, since it doesn't make sense to include every single crossover and team-up he's ever been apart of in a collaborative setting. So no Secret, Civil, or miscellaneous wars to speak of. But he fought The Sinister Six several times, while still in High School. He lost Gwen Stacy and Captain Stacy in college. He'd been cloned a time or two by the time he graduated. He took on an alien costume that wound up creating Venom. The city's turned against him multiple times thanks to Jameson and The Daily Bugle. He's married to Mary Jane, they were gonna have a baby, a miscarriage happened, they split up, got back together again. He was a science teacher at one point, a full-blown engineer at another point, and has been making pitifully little money selling photos to Jameson for half his life. And a couple of years ago, Otto Octavius was in control of his body for an extended period. All of this is compacted into 24 years of character history rather than 64 years of comics' history. Point being, this is a Peter Parker that's been tempered by the weight of experience. He's about to turn 40, but he's closer to the end of his career than he is to the beginning. Because of that, he's grown more confident in his abilities as a hero, struggling way less with balancing two lives than he used to. I'm playing with the idea of Peter being the first major superhero NYC ever had, so he's having to contend with the fact that now there's a bunch of superpowered individuals popping up all over the world that might make him redundant. Not looking up at a bunch of older heroes with stars in his eyes, but looking back at a generation he may have helped inspire, wondering if he's done right by them. Which will be reflected directly in characters like Miles Morales, the Spider-Women, and a version of Spider-Gwen, but I want the interactions to have Peter be the guy in the room who's seen and done it all, for a change. One thing I will specify is that I want to stick with the idea that death matters in Spidey's life. That when Norman Osborn got impaled by the glider, or when Harry succumbed to the Goblin formula, or when Aunt May died peacefully at home, they were never undone. Which means that storylines like Sins Past and One More Day couldn't have happened - which is just... so unfortunate, y'know? So unfortunate. Peter's life has been a chaotic mess for years, and he's only started to get a handle on it again after he and Mary Jane reconciled following The Clone Saga, Superior, and a few other periods that drove them apart. He lost a promising job thanks to Otto test-driving his mind but gained a tenative second chance, Jameson is about to retire and finally get off his back, and all of his big villains are starting to wind down after years of being humiliated by him. So of course, the Parker Luck has to kick back in eventually and he's going to have to be tested. But at this point, that's just business as usual for him. The more startling status quo would be if forces didn't conspire against him and everything he loves. I'm hoping to interact with a variety of characters, since Spider-Man is a very established presence in a world that, so far, doesn't feel like it has alot of those. I'll likely have some solo plots going on, but I'm basically free to cross paths with whoever on the side, as long as they're either in New York or have a very plausible reason for Peter to travel. But a home turf's a home turf, y'know?
