I knew that Velvet was taking pictures of weapons. Don't know how she's able to use them once projected, but whatever.

Called Ironwood's robot arm. Or robot half, or what have you. That looks like it's been resolved for quite some time, though.

Well, I guess a single knight arm is something, Weiss.

The way Ruby took Neo out of that fight had me pausing the video and giggling uncontrollably for half a minute.

Hope they didn't kill Roman. I mean, there's no body, but he also got swallowed by a giant half-bird half-lion thing that exploded and presumably crash landed with the giant airship.

inb4 'need a hand' jokes from Yang. Or shocked silence when she figures out she lost a body part. I'm reminded of RWBYQUEST. Hm. Oh well, Mercury and Ironwood prove that the replacements are very good at their jobs. There's something about arms in this episode.

Is it wrong that I felt this heavy Yandere vibe coming off of Adam for over half his screen time?

Also, are we finally going to see Ozpin fight now that Cinder blew through plan B through Z?

My one true Hider

Hm? What do you mean? The person is, I think, trying to disprove an incorrect assumption made by the fandom in kneejerk reaction to Adam's violence and status as Blake's ex. He's a psychopath, certainly, but to assume that he was an abusive partner is what this guy's getting worked up over. In the process, he also delves into Adam's character--what might have made him such a psycho in the first place.

In other news, I've been thinking about this for a while, and finally I thought, what the heck? Couldn't possibly hurt for it to be an option.
In the conference document I have added an index called 'Skype' and 'Steam'. If anyone wants to add their usernames there, they can chat or play games with others who do.

Also, to any history buffs out there: you're clear to write out your character's history and stick it in your character sheet, though posting it here in the OOC for us to read is fine as well.

I looked up the definition of the word abusive, thinking that it pertained only to situations in which a close (or at least supposedly close) relationship is sustained, but as a matter of fact it does not, instead being habitual, so I guess the guy's got the wrong estimate of what the word means. The bottom line is, there's no indication that he was an abusive partner, but his growing tendency toward violence led to Blake's abandonment, which kicked off his status as an abusive ex.

I don't think he implied that there was an excuse; just that there was a reason, and what he thought it was. You're awfully emotional and aggressive over this cartoon, you know.

Yes, I'm getting emotional about this cartoon, because somebody is using it as a fucking soapbox to tell me that it's okay to become violent and psychotic after being traumatized, because traumatized people are special and deserve special treatment and excuses. I've seen this shit again and again from the fucktards at tumblr, and it's why half the internet hates them. It's condescending and fucking insulting, and every time I see it, all I see are these fuckheads standing around feeling good about themselves while turning around and spewing hypocritical bullshit about the same subject when it applies to something they don't like.

Bullshit. Abuse is not a conscious decision. It's a description for unhealthy relationships and types of unhealthy behavior. They wanted to establish acceptable boundaries based on mutual respect. We let fear of losing each other bring us to make stupid decisions. I've been abusive, I've been abused, and I can tell you, what Adam is doing is so far beyond physical and psychological abuse it's absurd.
