Hey There, Kid! - Digimon Adventure 01-Themed Roleplay

@Altered Tundra I was thinking about Elecmon briefly. But I figured he would be a character that we would find as an NPC if we went to the Digimon Nursery place from the first season. So I didn't want to steal that potential storyline.

I have my line limited down to two options. Assuming you don't mind different digimon. (Was going to go for similar archetypes and characters to help with a similar feel of the first season.) was going to choose (from child to mega)

Muchomon - Diatrymon - Yatagaramon - Kuzuhamon
(Mostly to fit aesthetically.)

But I figured I'd give time to discuss if the other (Inkarnate's) character wanted the bird digimon. In which case I'd go with my other choice.

Kudamon - Reppamon - Tyilinmon - Sleipmon

I'll pick female. I wanted to do the troubled-but-secretely-gentle sorta concept.

As for Digimon, I wanted to do Chibomon/Monodramon/Doumon/Kuzuhamon, but I guess that's taken now, so I'll be back with that info as soon as I can. :)

So, while nothing has been for sure decided on that Digimon front, there are a couple issues I have with your chosen line. Mostly, I don't see a natural progression of growth from Chibomon to Monodramon and likewise for Monodramon to the other two you listed (more Doumon than Kazuhamon). If you want to keep the Monodramon line, then I would be open to the Cyberdramon line. Or if that's not what you're wanting to go with, you could easily use Veemon's line of Veemon>ExVeemon>AeroVeedramon>UlforceVeedramon. My other issue is there seems to be a distinct lack of a champion form in the line you presented.

Okay, so those lines seem a little better, but Hero has already claimed Lunamon. For your proposed Kudamon line, that doesn't seem to fit all that much. you could, however, opt for Falcomon's 2006 line with Ravemon as the Mega. I would also have to say no for Lucemon. Too evil in my head canon for to be a partner digimon. xD

Annnd, at least for the moment, that fills the slots up.

So, now allow me to say a few things. First, I'm grateful that they filled up so fast when they did and that so many talented people were interested.

I would like to say that the gender ratio will be an even 4:4. As it stands now, two of the female roles have been claimed by Sleeping and Inkarnate. For my character, I am taking one of the male roles, so that leaves us with three male roles and two female roles left up for grabs.

Given how quickly the slots did fill up, I will be doing my best to get the OOC up tomorrow, but if not, then definitely within the week.

I'm going to be watching this, at least.
Also I agree that Light's crest was too much of a McGuffin and was weird in that it was 'iam teh everything'. It could have been much more poignant if it were called, like, persistence or something.

I am very interested but among other things, I don't want to over-commit. That being said, may not be too much of a problem? In that case, I'd like Friendship if no-one wants it first. Or Kindness if Sunbather picks something else.

I'm curious as to how dark this may or may not be @Altered Tundra.

God, I haven't done a Digimon rp in a long ass time. I'll join as well! I'd take the Crest of sincerity~

Their partner Digimon will be Fanbeemon > Waspmon > CannonBeemon > TigerVespamon

I'm favoring Option Two. Because it will kind of combine the tomboy Sora and having a bird digimon. But it's color scheme and personality will more than likely be similar/closer to Electromon. So that's at least a couple similarities. If that line is fine, and isn't restricted due to its absence in the original series, I'll probably choose that one.

I adore Elecmon. As you might recall, I used him for Dante's partner in the previous digimon RP we were in.

@Fabricant451 People are free to choose whichever digimon partner they wish to, but the aspects of DNA Digivolution and the Digi-Eggs of [enter crest name here] won't be included in this RP - at least, not at the beginning. Those options may be explored later on. For now, I want to maintain as much connection to Adventure 01 as humanly possibly. As for what lines people want to go for, any they find fitting for their character and crest chosen is all good by me. I certainly don't want to limit the creative process of any potentially interested party.

@Sunbather For me personally, the way the Crest of Light was used made it seem like a very plot-centric crest and it heavily favored Kari above most. Hope was close, but less than the Crest of Light imo. Plus, I don't really think it should've ever counted as an actual crest when you compare it to the likes of Love and Knowledge - but that's my own beef with it.

Anyhowzers, here's the site I normally use for my digivolution lines. I used to use digimon.wikia but their information is somewhat scattered. I like the layout of wikimon a lot more.

And, I'll leave that up to the players. I'm not about limiting the creativity of those interested, but the spirit of the original season should at least be somewhat presented. Everything else is fair game and up for whatever the player deems as an appropriate interpretation for their charact

Palm Beach Royals: Senior Year

From the moment she had gotten home from Santiago's party to when she did nothing to follow up with Lucas about the kiss and stuff they shared that very night to when she got home, she was a nervous wreck. Despite what happened between her and Lucas, Stella wasn’t exactly in the place to do anything about it. She was still so shaken up that she had made the first move, but when it had progressed past the point of her control, she just let it happen. And when it progressed to the point of almost no-return, she panicked.

And for the duration of the weekend, she evaded Lucas at all costs. His calls, text messages - all of them went without a reply. Stella went as far to avoid him when she got to school. She saw him with Nadia and Victoire, but she couldn’t face him, so she avoided him like the plague. Every fiber in her being did everything it could do to avoid him at all costs. When lunch period came, even though she saw her and Victoire and Nadia and her friends, she didn’t make eye contact. Stella was so used to eating alone, so she could do this. But, as she ate her Chinese Chicken Salad alone, she heard a commotion off in the distance. Curious, she followed the masses. By the time she managed to sneak a peak of what everyone else was watching, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

“Is that Marisol? And wait..” Her mouth let out a gasp as her eyes widened, though her face scrunched up somewhat when she heard the sound of a bat strike the metal body of Victoire’s car. “Oh no, someone has to stop this!”

Stella was absolutely horrified. She didn’t know why Marisol was doing this, though that was soon answered as Marisol herself revealed why.

“Victoire and Sonny? Oh god, no that can’t be!”

Stella was in complete disbelief. She wasn’t aware that Sonny liked her new best friend in that way, let alone want to be with her in that way. The last time they talked, Victoire’s name came up and, well, as Stella recalled, Sonny has a lot of things to say about Vic, but none of them were particularly flattering or nice. This was what made her even more confused by Marisol’s claim.

As Stella watched in horror, she was relieved that someone came to stop her from hurting herself. She knew Marisol had a temper, but for her to do something like this was so far beyond anything the Lambert teen thought was possible. Thank god they stopped her. As she let out a sigh of relief, Stella had to get out of there. The last thing she wanted was to be caught in that ‘observer could’ve stopped her’ nonsense.

Effectively removing herself from the crowd, Stella found her way back to the quad. She intended to finish her lunch, but as she did, she saw a flyer of sorts posted on a column. It was for open cheerleader tryouts hosted by Nadia Josette. She was conflicted once more, but Stella knew this could be one of her few chances to get into activities after school that didn’t mean she’d have to think about the mistake she made with Lucas.

So she took it. Stella was going to try out for the cheerleading team. What could possibly go wrong?
