He smiled and retrieved a platinum chain for the time piece. "It needs a few minor tweaks, but if you keep it would and close your heart you will always now when you need to be." He smiled as he fastened the expensive chain on and offered it to her to try on now.

Lis got and nodded. "Yes it does look good with her, I'm brother knows much about his work." She smiled and threw an arm around her brothers waist. "Of course he's merde when it comes to his own appearance. Mathieu has no taste in clothing or style." She said chuckling at her now blushing brother.

So I owe you all a big apology for the gap, my mother has been very sick and I've been doing work on the house plus my job. I am no longer working so my time is opening my more and my mother has start to improve and will return from the hospital soon, that means my dad can also help around the house.

Matthew nodded sheathing his blade. "No I simply misjudged the situation, you have far more men than I was expecting. So now the plan changes." He answered stepping up to wear the bolt of lightning had hit and casting Elwind in return, he didn't aim for Chloetta but instead for the horse she rode. If he toppled the beast with her on it and pinned her game, set, and match. After releasing the spell he dart left then forward in to the wreckage of the cart pulling his sword as he moved closer so he could strike at her with his blade.

Chloetta's soldiers returned to engaging there opponents, deciding they would not wait on there commander to decide the battle. The other Cavaliers charged leaping over the broken carts charging forward, hoping for their lances to find purchase. Her forces still had them almost three to one as additional lance wielding soldiers, nine of them advanced from the right. Slowly, keep there line intact as to fend off all there opponents.

It was a pitched a rampant fight, while Chloetta's force busied themselves with Champions yet few had seen what was closing from the skies. Wyverns of the Church were coming, reinforcements perhaps sent by Bern with a message, it didn't matter for suddenly from there left a new group of Wyverns approached. Plegian riders gave brutal yells as they swooped on to the Churches Wyverns the beasts plummeting down from the sky around them.

Chloetta's reinforcements turned to face there opponents, quite shocked at what they found. As Genna ordered the archers to turn and fire on the enemy one rider, shot towards them in a lethal dive. It Selenia Captain of the Wyvern riders, no doubt having followed the Wyverns and been led right to Chloetta more importantly her mark. As her Wyvern turned, dodging the arrows the archers sent up jumped from the beast as it pulled up. Her armored form crashed, sickeningly into one archer as tossed her ax into the one across from Genna. She kicked Genna down preparing to finish her, yet the archer tossed away her bow covered herself cowering. The Knight laughed as her Wyvern landed, all could see a sick decoration on its saddle Bern's head, his face still painted with the shock.

The Wyvern Lord snarled climbing back on her dragon and ascending back up to join her Knights in combat. She would be back for the rest later, with her Knights.

Lis smiled back before eating. "A wonderful novel, Frankenstein about a monster created from the dead and brought to life by scientist Doctor Frankenstein. It was actually written by a woman, find her writing so very interesting as well as the human story here." She explained before digging into her meal happily, enjoying the provided meal. She stretched and sat her tray on the night stand once she had finished.

Mathieu blushed a little when she mentioned the watch. "It will go for well over a thousand dollars, though I'm unsure if any American will buy it for that price. They do not seem to have much respect for foreigners in there country, no matter why they are there." He sat his tray aside, having finished his meal as well, he walked over and picked up the watch. "Real rubies around the edges, plus the gold. It the best piece I've ever made, it needs a few more adjustments and then last coils it will be ready." He said picking it up and offering it to her.

"I know teachers are needed out west, perhaps head for California? Though you could cross over to Canada, that would certainly stop him from pursing you." He said with finality. "Of course you can join us for breakfast, were eating in our cabin. I doubt anyone would look for you in second class, plus you can meet my sis Lis would be very happy to have a friend on this trip." Mathieu smiled and got the door, before starting back towards his room pausing only to request extra food be delivered to his accommodation.

As he opened the door they were greeted with sight of young woman in simple black dress who sat on her bed reading. "Ah brother your back, whose your friend?" She said in a teasing voice as Mathieu moved over to the bed taking a seat and pulling out a chair for Anna to have a seat in. "Lis this is Anna, Anna meet Lis." He said taking care of introductions as Lis stood up and curtsied.

"Nice to meet you miss Anna." She said setting her book down as her eyes wandered to the desk. "Mathieu you forgot to put that watch away, someone could have swiped it while we were sleeping." She chastised her brother as he rolled his eyes, food arriving moments later, each receiving a tray with meals freshly prepared on it.

"No nothing like that, your talking about the rest of your life." He answered with a short laugh as smoke swirled around him. "Love is something important, many people see money and status as something of greater importance these days." He started to his thoughts on the matter. "Perhaps you could run if you are sure he is so terrible, find a way once we the America's and run from him." He said, knowing that from personal experience running could sometimes be the best option.

"It might not courageous or polite however I doubt he is either of those things. Besides, you seem a capable young woman, I'm sure you could make your way in the world. Perhaps as a nurse?" He added the suggestion unsure of her opinion on the matter. "Of course you could always do something drastic to prevent it, though with all of us on this ship I doubt you could find a lover." He shrugged knowing love was a rare thing and finding it on a boat, unlikely.

"Still I'll help in anyway I can. As long as do not have risk my family in anyway, Lis has already suffered enough because of me we only have each other left." He told her looking at the sea enjoying the water. "You know, if war comes I want to be a sailor, the ocean would make a wonderful place to send eternity? Don't you agree? For even if this was a boat of nightmares we float upon a sea of unending beauty and grace, who could dare ignore its beauty."
