Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A link to some of my past characters, which I need because static tabs do not take up internet.

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

Since we're talking character themes, I'm planning to base my character off of Vlad "Țepeș" Dracula, or rather the vampire character who spawned from his acts and inherits his name. However, a lot of inspiration for Vladimir's character, his backstory in particular, comes from Dio Brando of JJBA fame, which I feel isn't too unsuitable given that the real Dracula was called "The Impaler" for a very good reason. There's also a reference to The Domination of Draka in there, to make the name less of a straight theft from real life, and which still fits given the heavy dragon theming in his character.
Oh wow this went places whilst I was gone. Uh, if nobody else has done it already, and in case it wasn't clear in the interest check, I'd like to reserve the V in VNLA. And transferring the sheet shouldn't take too long, I hope...
Tell you what, I'm interested in this, and in fact have a character from a past RWBY RP I joined who was never handled properly, though his name starts with a V, which can be changed if needed.

If anything about what you've presented so far bears criticising, it's that that is a lot of S names you want, primarily from Team Bliss, which doesn't obviously imply a colour to me... if you don't mind my suggesting it, I might propose a change to that particular team name. Indeed, I'm almost tempted to suggest Vanilla (VNLA) as a replacement, if only because it's white-ish, but that stacks up an overabundance of A names; alternatively, perhaps Vermilion (VMLN) would work out, since it puts in new letters and doubles up already-present letters. In fairness, both of those happen to be convenient for me too, and I understand if you're loathe to make such a change just on my suggestion.
Betty's wink told Deprave just about everything he needed to know. Oh, he'd definitely gotten her, that was for sure... or, she'd decided to go for him? He wasn't exactly sure. And maybe Weaver too, since she'd just called him a Mayan deity. 'You're damn right I'm a fuckin' deity,' he responded, flexing one arm to show off a bicep to both the torn-up rabbit and the short lizard. 'Y'know, back in my day, there were-'

And then the runt interrupted him, because apparently some little tiny people outside the windows were somehow "threatening". That was what a fairie was, right? Bah. Either way, the twerp was being antsy for no good reason... no, wait, hang on. They could be spirits. Not likely, since the RV was moving pretty fast, but maybe... not that Deprave was too concerned about that either.

'If you're worried, you can keep your eyes peeled for the rest of the group,' he muttered, heading back down the van, 'because I'm pretty sure it's no big deal in my book.' He of course knew what books were, like paper versions of the dataslab he had in one pocket, but which could only fit a limited amount of info on to them. Much less useful, he felt, than the all-access hardware resting across his back right now. And less important still than his current conquest... and he supposed, since she had it, the mug in her hand. Actually, a drink or five sounded good right about now.

'Mind if I take a swig of that, little lizard lady?' he asked, taking a seat reasonably near her and holding a hand out for the Power-Pint. He was pretty sure he'd be able to trick the thing into pouring a stream of beer or whatever into his mouth if he held it just right, and he wanted to test the idea out a little.
@Jbcool Whenever you're ready, sir, we're ready to keep going with this.
His minion audibly cringed at the Ogryn's rush toward them both, but having seen the Ogryn in combat proper, Lucius was hardly intimidated, not that he would have been either way. A charging Ogryn involved a lot more screams of blind murderous intent, or whatever instinct the brutes ran on. Sure enough, the character soon stopped before reaching him, eyeing up the cowering wretch that claimed to serve him, then asking who it was, and admitting that he didn't like the man. But of course not. Lucius himself didn't like him. But, because he had to come up with something to cover his tracks, he shortly stated 'No need to worry. This is my-'

Minion? Slave? Serf? Servant- yes, servant, he'll understand that.

'-servant,' Lucius offered, the slight hesitation covered by a near-imperceptible elongation of "my". 'Rest assured, he is without weaponry, and will bring no harm to you or anybody else.'

But it seemed the Ogryn was now preoccupied with other things. Scanning, and some internal conflict that he hadn't been aware Ogryns could engage in... was that another group of intrepid explorers he espied? Or perhaps more foes. Regardless, he eyed them up, deliberately placing a hand on the handle of his sheathed sword to make sure they knew he was present. There was a, a sort of bipedal fish alien in the group... and an Eldar, who by the looks of it was of the sort who took greatly to torment and torture. Disgusting creatures both - that was one trait, at least, that he retained from his time in the Dark Angels proper. And it was clear their allies held more truck with them than he'd ever be comfortable with.

But he'd deal with them when the time came to it; for now, he turned his attention back to the Ogryn, who was currently explaining in so many words that it was scared and confused, and needed to get back to "da, uh, ship", presumably whatever Imperial ship it had come from to begin with. And that, it seemed, was his in. He strolled the rest of the way over to the Ogryn, placing a firm, reassuring arm round the giant creature's shoulders.

'Well, if you need directions back to your ship, my friend- by the way, I don't think you told me your name yet?- I'm sure I can help you search. And you people over there too, mind,' he called to the small group who was observing him and his possible newfound ally, and his servant. He'd rather not do that, but realistically, he needed more than one meatshield to survive in the Hulk for much longer.

'I can't imagine why this is what has been willed for me, but perhaps some of you will be able to serve under the Emperor's merciful guidance, anyway,' he offered in as congenial a tone as the situation allowed for, well aware that if one person already thought he served the Emperor, he had to pretend the same for all of them, else somebody would be disillusioned sooner or later. 'And in any case, the more of us there are, the more effectively we can cover one another's backs, and the fewer of us will be slain, is that not so?' No doubt, of course, that the Eldar would backstab everybody in the group the moment she got her chance, but since he knew it'd be coming, he'd be able to mete out justice to her the moment she began to execute such a maneuver.

@Jbcool Since we're on the topic of things people need to post in, ahem, I'll get my next post as Lucius up at some point in the near future. Ideally today, possibly tomorrow, but rest assured, @Sophrus in particular, this game is presently my top priority for RPs.
On the one hand, Nuva found sleeping in full chainmail and leather very uncomfortable, even on the softest of beds. On the other hand, he daren't risk his identity being revealed unintentionally in his sleep before he could move to stop an intruder, even with the door to whatever room he was sleeping in locked. Even locked into the privy, and especially when washing accumulated grime off himself every week or so, he was extremely cautious, ensuring he never moved in sight of a window or keyhole whilst uncloaked even a little bit. It was time-consuming and complicated to achieve in many instances, but so far, the process had served him well.

And so, freshly clean, and rather hungry, though willing to wait to eat until well after others had had their fill, he stepped out into the light of day shortly after Kayden, noting the various presences around the Guild Hall, in particular the arrival of a somewhat larger individual... a Drabarian, by the looks of it. And if they planned to join the guild, another Jex, so to speak. But he couldn't say whether or not they were, because they were just standing in place looking at the damn building like a fool.

Not that this affected Nuva Doer for the moment, of course. If he wanted something that affected him... well, he had been given an idea of sorts for something that might help him hide a little bit better. If he could afford it. And, if he wanted something more immediately helpful, there was a note being put up, perhaps a job listing for the guild that could well make the difference between affordability and... otherwise. And so much the better if he handled it alone, assuming there was a set pot as payment. With that in mind, he marched over to the job board, taking a look at the note to see what it held in store.

@Rockette Since the GMs can place their characters into one post each, I'd say wait until they've got their posts up. That said, a post can be made as a reserve spot for sheets; I'd suggest @Nallore and @JaceBeleren make these reserve posts in the Characters tab, so that once their characters are approved, they can be placed there without too much fuss. Speaking of which, Nallore, I'll review your sheet shortly, but my recommendation at a glance is to format the section titles to be bolded.
@Altered Tundra That's fair enough. I just want to make sure everybody is reasonably lore-proficient, and that nothing gets missed. It is a good setting, after all.
