Daphne, Dorothy and Fitz

Location: Lower Deck
Skills: None

Daphne was still somewhat pissed off after the whole exchange with Anisa, but it didn't matter right then, she was on the hunt to try and find Fitz. Wondering where exactly he was. She went down to the lower decks of the ship, eventually running into him. "Hey there Fitz."

"Daphne, I-I-I-I...." Fitz stammered, staring at her. Dorothy fell back slightly. She didn't want to know what Anisa would do if they were still on the ship by when time ran out, but she did want to give Daphne some space. Anisa was right - she did baby her sister. If Daphne wanted the engineer to come with them, this was on her. Fitz gulped, staring at Daphne with a red face. "....I...I...."

"...Well if you couldn't guess... My sister and I are leaving the ship... And well, I was wondering..." she said, hesitating slightly. Daphne had noticed her sister take a step or two away from her, and she was kind of glad for it this time around. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to come with us? I mean you don't have to, but um..." she said, though her face was slightly red.

Fitz stared at Daphne. The disturbing racism he had seen earlier and the sounds of the fighting all slipped away. He even forgot about Atticus' disgusting corpse - though he would no doubt have nightmares about it coming alive to eat him later - and he just stared at Daphne. "I-I-I...." He swallowed thickly, knowing the words he wanted to say but it was hard to get them out. "I....I....um...D-D-Daphne....I...."

"What is it Fitz?" Daphne asked, looking over at him, giving him a small smile. She wasn't too sure what else to say, and clearly he was having some problems talking to her about something, though he did almost always stutter or something. It made her wonder what was going through his head, and what he wanted to say to her. She seriously liked the guy, and hoped that he would come with them.

He turned bright red, seeing Daphne smile at him. His brain was glitching out majorly and he was shaking. Dorothy glanced over, shaking her head slightly. Those two were so painfully obvious and it made her wonder if everyone else had known she cared for Atticus before she did. "I....Um.....D-d-did y-you kn-kn-know that cl-cl-classical mechanics predicts that an electron would collapse into the nucleus through loss of energy?"

"I uh... Didn't know that... So, what's it going to be Fitz? Are you, um... Wanting to come with us and we leave the ship? Maybe find a new one, or better one, or whatever... Could even try to get a ship of our own, I mean we have most of what you'd need for a crew, pilot, doctor, and engineer..." she said, looking at the ground slightly.

"I-I-I....I....I th-think I want to go wherever you go..."

"...Really?" she asked, she couldn't help but be at least somewhat surprised by that. They hadn't known each other for very long, so she couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. He wanted to go with her, but hardly knew her, or her sister, it was just surprising in her mind, but she was glad he wanted to come.

"Y-y-yeah, y-y-you're nice...and...and I w-w-wouldn't need to worry about Anisa grinding my bones for seasoning...A-a-a-and your hair smells like strawberries...."

She gave him a small smile, "...Alright then Fitz, let's see about getting out of here," she said, glad that he was coming along. Daphne wasn't too sure what her sister thought of this entire situation, especially since she had just lost Atticus, but she didn't really care about Dorothy's thoughts or anything at the moment. Actually she had somewhat forgotten that Dorothy was even there at this point.

Dorothy was about to making a biting comment about Fitz and Daphne being a bit pathetic with their affection for one another, but she shut her mouth. She had lost Atticus. Anisa had lost Jackson. Why put added pressure and tension on one of the few potential couples left alive on this ship? "We best leave now," Dorothy said simply, heading to leave the ship.

"Uh... Right..." she said, remembering her sister's presence now. Though she wasn't too thrilled about her sister interrupting their conversation. "... So come on Fitz, let's go..."

@FantasyChic@LadyRunic@Peridot The instant you dismount and end up outside of the office, the four of you will feel a slight, almost pin pricking sensation in your necks, Ayita would feel more than one stab into her neck, and she'd find herself shifting from horse back into human form, along with noticing that she isn't able to hear anyone else's thoughts, or communicate with telepathy anymore. Should anyone try to use their powers, they would find that they weren't working, at all, as if someone flipped a switch and suddenly boom, they were off. There was a large van that if they had noticed, had been parked outside of Stark Tower, and was now pulling up to the curb, with the door opening and there were several guns pointed their direction. "Just like he said, figured a smaller group would leave the Tower, makes our life easier, now come along quietly, or there will be trouble. Oh, don't bother trying to head inside, the doors have already been barricaded," one of the people in the van said to them. The group would also be able to notice that the reason they hadn't really had much difficulty getting there on horse back, was that much of the walkways had been cleared of people, so there weren't really anyone around to help them out either.

@Morose@BlackPanther The two of you would hear some sort of loud crashing sound coming from the main area. It sounded like shattering glass, and metal crashing down or something.

Lance Banner

Location: Stark Tower - Main Area

"Actually fiancee, they are supposed to be getting married sometime next year last I heard," Lance muttered in response to Carolina's words.

"There isn't really any proof, except what I could potentially show her with my powers, and I don't know if even then she'll believe us. At this point in my life, I was kind of on OMEN's radar, since I was a dragon or whatever, but they left me alone for the most part since I had been the one to kill Hel, despite what Jakobsen claims... It's not like we can prove much unless we actually go find her, and maybe if I talk to her she'll believe me, but that is a big maybe..." Thalia said with a slight shrug.

Lance looked at the others, before he glanced out the window, and saw something coming towards them, a large group of somethings, and they were big. He walked over to the window, to see if he could get a better look at just what was coming their way. As the mob got closer, his eyes grew wide as he realized what exactly was coming their way. There had to be at least 10 or so Sentinels that he could easily see, and maybe a few more behind those ones, and they were heading straight for Stark Tower. "We need to move... NOW!" he yelled out, racing away from the window just in time to avoid being hit by a Sentinel as it broke the window. They were big, but someone they managed to smash through the roof of Stark Tower so they could stand up fully when the landed.

As soon as he saw the roof start to get destroyed, Pietro raced around, moving people out of the way of the falling shrapnel and debris as bits of metal went flying everywhere. Magneto simply deflected the metal away from himself, Wanda, and Bellamy, ignoring the others somewhat, glancing at the robots, he found that he wasn't able to control them like you would expect, as they appeared to not be made of metal. When Pietro grabbed Bethany to move her, a piece of metal embedded itself in his right side as he pulled her away from the falling debris. She wasn't hurt, but his side was bleeding pretty badly from the metal.

Wanda started sending things flying towards them in response, but everything she fired at the Sentinels didn't seem to phase them at all. Thalia's wings appeared, and she took a deep breath before she shot flames at them, but it wasn't doing much good either. Everything the two of them were doing seemed completely useless.

Sentinels started shooting lasers around the entire room, however they seemed to be a horrible shot, as most of the lasers fired immediately missed their targets. Except for one that is, and it hit Aspen in the leg, causing a burn to appear there and it would knock her to the ground.

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Stark Tower - Lab

"We've almost got it... Shouldn't be too hard to finish that one at the least, give it a bit of a test run before we make too many more..." Mira said, before setting the one that she had finished making, and looking at what Tony was doing with the generator. There were a few more things that he had to do with it, but overall it was just about finished. That was when there was a loud crashing sound coming from the main area, and both she and Tony stared towards that direction.

Banner walked into the lab, and looked at the direction the sounds were coming from. "Uh... What was that?" he asked, looking the same direction as Tony and Mira were.

"I have no idea... JARVIS? What was that?"

"It appears that the Sentinels have returned, and are currently attacking the tower," JARVIS responded.

"Shit... Kid, finish this," Tony said, tossing the gun to Mira before he took off out of the room. Mira looked at the gun, wondering what to do, but she immediately went to try and finish the weapon, but it wasn't too easy for her to do it very quickly. Banner followed Tony out of the room.

Back in the main area, Tony popped up in his suit, and started shooting at the nearest one, but his weapons didn't seem to be having much of an effect on the robot. Banner appeared as well, and instantly shifted into the Hulk, and leapt out at one of the Sentinels, trying to pound on it.

Marygold Isley

Location: Jakobsen's Campaign Office

"Why do I get the feeling that one, you all don't like me, and two, that you think I'm an idiot or something?" he said coldly, glaring at the group.

"No, just a crazy man who thinks that his ways are the best for everyone, and not paying attention to the consequences further down the line, I mean seriously, yes, people with powers can be dangerous, but anything can be dangerous in the wrong hands. That's just how things work in reality, just because you don't like to think of things that way, maybe you should start listening to others."

"Oh please, I'm not dumb enough to think that there are three people in this room from the future, I mean really, how much of a gullible idiot do you take me for? Yes, I know time travel is possible, but still, I feel as though you are really grasping at straws to try and convince me otherwise."

"Look, you don't have to believe her about that, but at least think about what could potentially happen to the rest of the world because of your actions!" Mary snapped at him, before she got distracted by Future Pietro, who suddenly looked like he was in pain, before he leaned against the wall and slid down to the floor.

"Is he okay? Please tell me he isn't going to puke or something, I just had the carpet cleaned," Jakobsen said, but Mary ignored him, wondering what was going on. Future Pietro lifted up his shirt and there was this humongous bruise that had appeared as if from out of nowhere, it was in the exact same place as where Pietro had been stabbed by the metal shrapnel.

"...Something is going on at the Tower..." he muttered, wincing in pain, a little bit of blood trickled out of his mouth.

Miranda Fay

Miranda fell silent as they reached the basement area. It was actually surprisingly big, not to mention clean and had hardly anything inside of it. "So, what's this got to do with anything... I mean she pointed out that she had been joking, how exactly does this come to a sort of better way to go about this?" she asked as she looked over at Charles as he just flipped the lights on, showing just how massive the area was.

"It is rather simple actually, and you did say you wanted to do something, and this way, there isn't a risk for someone to get injured in the process. Miranda, I am going to give you a mental image of a building, somewhat small, but likely to be similar to the one that you all will likely enter, and using your holographic abilities, I would like you to recreate it in this room. Can you do that for me?" he asked, looking over at her. Miranda nodded in response, wondering just what exactly he was getting at.

The image he sent her was very detailed, way better than a photograph, as he was able to show her different hallways and such. He also showed her potential threats and dangers that could be in the room, and she understood what he was getting at. She was basically running some sort of simulation for the other two, though she was also allowed to fight and such like that, and the simulation wouldn't be able to hurt them. Miranda took a deep breath before she waved her hands, and the walls and empty space of the basement disappeared, replaced with a hallway that forked off to the left or right, there was also a few doors scattered along the hallway as well. "Your job is to get back to the staircase leading upstairs, which will be a lot harder than you think," Charles said with a slight smirk.

She wasn't entirely dumb, sure, she was riding a horse to this event, and it was somewhat in the middle of the winter, but still, she had been prepared. Penance had bundled up well, and made sure she wouldn't get too cold on the ride over. The fact that anyone riding a horse at this time of year wouldn't bundle up at least somewhat was just plain weird to her. When she arrived at the gate, noticing the others, she just shrugged and dismounted from her horse, hitting the ground and she walked over towards the gate. It was definitely an interesting place, and it was clearly heavily guarded, made her wonder more about what was past the gates.

Looking around, she noticed the others who were there, and she found herself a little curious about them. There was certainly quite a few people who were showing up, but she said nothing as she reached into a pocket and pulled out her own invitation when the man asked them to. This was certainly a tight knit party to say the least, which meant that she was probably surrounded by an interesting group of individuals. Some who showed up in carriages clearly had money, at least most likely more than she did, and she couldn't help but be a little jealous of them, since she had shown up on horseback, not really being able to pay for a carriage, despite the fact that she had wanted one.

Thalia Maehers

Location: The Palace

Now, Thalia ever since she was younger, has always had a soft spot for children, even those who were not her own. Folly was kind of the first one many years ago, before everything, that she had taken a liking to. Then there were some of the kids at the mansion that she had helped out years before, but turning them into soldiers? She had never met a more selfish person in her entire life, she'd know, she used to be somewhat selfish and vain when it came to things.

"How dare you do that to children. Sorry to you, Ms. Laurek, but I do not have any sort of tolerance for that sort of thing, especially when children are involved," Thalia snapped, before her skin seemed to shimmer slightly, and she took a deep breath. A second later a shot of silver energy came from her mouth in a stream, hitting Puck squarely. She didn't stop until he had turned to dust, a moment later, she looked at her daughter with a smile. "And that is how mommy deals with the bad people."

Queen Valda

Location: The Palace

Valda nodded her head, listening to Arya's words. She hoped that her brother would be alright, she worried about him, and was concerned for his well being. She understood Luna's concern, especially since she had vanished before the major problems with Myrus had started, and she didn't know what had happened to him. The fact that he was still under care made her worry even more, but she didn't voice her concerns out loud.

"Hurry, let's get inside, out of the cold, and we can check on Myrus then," she said, before she started heading towards the Palace. Valda was eager to get out of the cold, and hopefully there was some good news revolving around her brother. She returned Rowland's smile as she walked, partially pretending that no one else was really there. Her day had been hectic, and horrible, and she couldn't wait for everything to end finally.

Sylvi the Bard and Bruce Banner

Location: The Ramblings - Winking Duck Tavern

"...I'm sorry for that Marya..." he said softly, before looking at Myth again, "W-W-Well, my sisters don't generally stick around in one place for very long... I came in here looking for Astrid sort of... D-d-didn't really expect to find her though, she's kind of the nomad. My oldest sister Halley is probably back home knowing her. Then there is the youngest, Nova, she, well, she's a bit of a wild card when it comes to where she is..." he said, managing to talk to Myth without much stuttering.

Sylvi found the conversation between Bruce and Myth hilarious, as he stuttered a lot around her, the guy clearly didn't have much social skills at all. It made her wonder just how often he talked to girls who weren't his sisters. Hearing those names though, she couldn't help but notice the parallels between the names there, and the names of the ones in the Myth of Four. Could the twins have been telling her the truth.

He heard the woman's cries, and instantly perked up, hearing the words that they were saying. The Port Witches had killed someone? Then why the hell were they just randomly wanting to blame the queen for it? She literally just had gotten the role of queen, she hadn't even been crowned for 24 hours yet, why were they freaking out so much? Sure, she was a witch, and now Bruce was starting to see some similarities between now and the time that his parents always talked about. Clearly humans never learned from their mistakes.

She wasn't too happy with the sounds of the conversation going on around the tavern. It sounded like they were wanting to kill the new queen. Sure, she was a witch, and Sylvi didn't like witches all too much, but still, they didn't have any evidence to support their claims against her. "There has to be a better way to voice concerns," she muttered under her breath, looking at the group of people.

"Наравно," Medea said to her sister with a smile.
Lydia Weaver

Location: Library

Lydia was a little surprised at what was going on, then again, with the way her life had been going recently, with all the crazy things going on around her, she wasn't too surprised about it. The fact that Jenna had just said moments before to her that she could see ghosts made her seeing a dead guy not too bad either. She was getting used to all of the crazy going on, but the weird symbol and everything made it really weird even for her. "Yeah, saw him, and no, pretty sure that wasn't Siegfried."

She looked over at Jenna, who to her was seemingly fairly calm, just taking in the information. It didn't surprise her too much from what she knew, but it was still a little weird. "So... It sounds like we are back to square one if the guy isn't from around here then?" she asked her cousin, wondering what sort of info she was putting together from all of this.

Daphne vs. Anisa, Featuring Dorothy

Location: The Galley -> Anisa's Office
Skills: Gun Combat, Slug Pistol (Gun Combat) - Anisa
Gun Combat, Perception - Dorothy
Gun Combat, Slug Pistol (Gun Combat) - Daphne

Daphne was a little nervous to talk to Anisa, ever since the night before for obvious reasons. Though she figured that she had to have seen this sort of conversation coming, it didn't matter what else had happened since then, Daphne didn't exactly have a job anymore, so there wasn't really much point in her sticking around. She had been a little hesitant, but seeing the way her sister had reacted to Atticus' death, she knew that they should leave. "Well, there is no easier way to say this... But we're leaving," she said, figuring it best to just flat out say it.'

Anisa stopped in her tracks and eyed Daphne for a moment. Pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up she took a longer than average pull from it. "I need a fuckin' drink."

Dorothy nodded, still running her hands on the prayer beads. She had been thinking about breaking this news a bit more softly - perhaps with some sort of conversational flow into all of it, rather than going right out at it. But her sister was as blunt as ever and Dorothy just had to roll with that. "...Perhaps we should go discuss this in your office?" Dorothy asked, blinking slightly. She was still having some difficulty with holding back the tears over Atticus' death.

"Sounds like there ain't nothin' to talk about. Sounds like you two done made up yer mind," Anisa said hotly, her cigarette hanging off her bottom lip. She nearly spit it out before tightening her lips around the butt and walking towards her room slash office. Stepping in she poured herself a drink and downed it quickly. There was a hissing sound as she swallowed before taking another puff from her smoke and blowing it out roughly, her hair flying back off her face.

Hearing Anisa's words made her rethink them having gone to tell her instead of just quietly leaving, maybe leaving a note behind or something. Daphne was pretty sure that this wasn't going to be a very easy conversation either way, and sure, she probably could have gone about it a different way, but there wasn't a much better way to say it. Especially since it was clear that Dorothy wasn't going to just flat out say it to Anisa, or even start the conversation since she looked to be only part way there when it came to thinking about things. It didn't matter, though she hoped that Dorothy would know a better way to continue this conversation so one of them didn't end up shot or something. She fell silent as she looked over at her sister, before following Anisa.

Dorothy followed Anisa into her office, feeling silly as the drink itself and the cigarettes reminded her of Atticus - but also of the best friend she was about to lose. She couldn't hold back the tears as they streamed down her face silently. "I'm sorry, Anisa," Dorothy said softly, her voice breaking. She kept on running her hands over Atticus' rosary. If she didn't have it there, she would have already gone into parade rest.

Anisa's eyes rolled and rolled hard. She didn't even looked over towards Dorothy but gave a sideways glance towards Daphne for half a second. "Yeah, I'm sure you are." There was anger and hurt in her voice but there wasn't malice. "Let me tell you this though, if you leave every ship your sister gets fired from yer gonna be runnin yer whole life. Leavin' friends behind, leavin' people you call family. How long huh? Till yer debt is paid? Till she has to grow up?"

Turning slightly Anisa shook her head. "You coulda taken yer punishment, got yer act together and been rehired but no. Just run. Keep running girl, thing is you can't out run yer shadow or yer past. I know, I've tried. Just do me a fuckin' favor, don't get her killed savin' you. She's better than that." Those words had motherly venom in them.

Anisa snuffed out her cigarette and walked towards the door. She stopped just long enough to look Daphne dead in the eye. "So are you." Sucking it up as best she could because if she didn't she was about to sob like a little girl whos best friend was moving away. Walking off she gave a wave of her hand. "Get yer shit off my boat within the hour."

Now she was a little mad, since clearly in her mind Anisa wasn't close enough of a friend with her sister to see the obvious. She had been willing to stick around the ship, for her sister, but seeing how she took Atticus' death, it had made her realize that they needed to leave. "Nice working with you Captain, but clearly you think that this choice was all about me, I was willing to stick around for my sister, I wasn't originally planning on running, but it doesn't matter much anymore the reason I have for leaving now," she said simply to Anisa's back, as she just watched her leave, before she turned to her sister. "Come on, let's get out of here," she said, before heading out of the room herself.

"...It's because I can't be the second in command you need," Dorothy spoke up, not even caring that Anisa had already walked off but it needed to be said. "I can't be objective with my sister. I am a doctor and my focus will always be on that...I was a horrible second...But it's also because of Atticus...I loved him and I missed my chance with him..." She was about to say something else but her voice faltered. She didn't know if anything else she said would make a difference. "I really am sorry..." she then said finally, wiping her eyes on her sleeve.

Anisa drew her gun and fired a shot off, it embedding right next to Daphnes head, she had just missed her once again. "Next time I won't miss, one more word, one more piece of attitude, one more eye roll and I will end the shit you put her through once and fucking for all." Anisa's voice roared from her in a way it never had before. There was an anger there that she had never felt, her face burned red from it like flames crawling over her skin.

Tears welling up in her eyes she kept her gun pointed at Daphne, almost daring her to to one more thing out of line on her ship. Then she spoke, her words trembling as they came out. "You didn't have to be my second, you could have stepped down. I offered it to you because I lost Jackson. It wasn't an all or nothing offer so do NOT put that on me. This is you and this is her." Then there was a growl from her as she turned her gun on Dorothy. "Get off my boat, I'll ship your shit. You have five minutes." One could almost see the tension in her trigger finger, Anisa was on the edge and it wouldn't take much to push her over.

Daphne just completely lost it now. Dorothy had considered Anisa her friend, and now her "friend" was completely turning her back on her. She pulled her own gun and pointed it right at Anisa, "You told me to grow up well guess what the hell I'm doing Captain! How dare you threaten my sister like that!" she snapped at her, glaring. "We are going to get our stuff, and we are leaving whether you want it that way or not. Plus, doubt Fitz will want to stick around with you because of your attitude, so he's coming too, got it!"

Dorothy's heart was pounding and her vision was becoming a bit blurry from the tears in her eyes. She let go of Atticus' rosary, the beads falling back into her pocket. She cared deeply about both of them - even as they aimed guns at each other. She only had a split second to make a decision and she stepped between the two of them, blocking their shots. "St-st-stop it!" Dorothy pleaded, sounding like the nervous engineer for a moment. "Stop it, both of you!"

Anisa drew her second weapon and pointed it at Daphne over Dorothys shoulder, keeping her other one pointed at Dorthy even as she moved between them. "Four minutes, 53 seconds to get off my fucking boat." Cocking both pistols she didn't waiver.

"Go to hell Anisa, you don't like it when someone stands up to you, is that it? Well guess what, you have always called me childish or whatever, and now you get all pissed off if I act my age and try to protect someone I care about, well you just hit a brick wall," Daphne said, before with her empty hand reached down and managed to grab Dorothy's pistol. Raising it so now she had two guns pointed right at Anisa.

"Really, mei-mei?!" Dorothy asked, noticing that her sister had taken her gun. She was crying and looked like a complete mess, but she was blinking quickly enough to keep her field of vision cleared and she pulled out the closest thing to a weapon she had - Atticus' Bible. Sure, it hadn't been meant for throwing but she figured all of that training would pay off eventually. "Mei-mei, let's go, now," Dorothy said, holding up the Bible as if it was some sort of shield.

Anisa half froze, Dorothy was holding up a bible. A fucking bible to protect herself. The woman who had denied god far harder than even Anisa had was using a fucking bible as if it was her sword and shield right then. It started as a snort, one she tried to swallow down but she couldn't and this large, huge fucking guffaw ripped from Anisa the likes no one had seen. She hadn't 180'ed, she had completely flipped her lid so hard tears were rolling down her cheeks. It was the funniest thing she had ever seen in her damn life. The guns however didn't move. "Get...~laugh~...off...~chortle~...my...~giggle~...ship...~laugh~...now...~chortle~" The look on her face was probably one of the most terrifying expressions she had ever had.

Daphne gave Anisa a strange look, but she could understand why she was laughing. Dorothy never seemed like the type who would hold up a bible to defend herself in any sort of situation. Daphne didn't lower her pistols either, but she couldn't help but giggle slightly at Dorothy with the bible. She was making sure she didn't let her guard down completely, but it was really hard to not giggle slightly at her sister.

Dorothy stared at Anisa. While in a more rational mode she would have understood exactly why Anisa was laughing and would have laughed herself, she was still reeling from Atticus' death less than two hours prior. She didn't stop crying, holding onto the Bible with shaking hands. To her, Anisa's laughter could have also been at Dorothy's foolishness - to care for a man like Atticus that never ceased to indulge himself in the pleasures of the flesh, even the night before at the Lady Luck. "C-come on, Mei-Mei, let's get your boy toy and leave."

Anisa was still laughing, it was getting more twisted by the second. Gun one, didn't fire. Gun two, didn't fire. Something did fire though. It was Anisa's mouth but it came out deeper, darker, and very much like an impression as Anisa quoted something Atticus had said everytime he threw a bible at Dorothy. "That's right the power of Christ compels you."

"Fitz isn't my boy toy Dory," she managed to say between giggles. Hearing Anisa, it made Daphne start giggling even more than before. The fact that Anisa was quoting Atticus now was a little weird, but she hoped that maybe hearing that would cheer Dorothy up or something. Hearing her sister call Fitz her boy toy didn't help matters, and she was just looking at the two of them, still laughing a little.

"No....But maybe he should be," Dorothy said, wiping her eyes. She couldn't help but laugh slightly as Anisa said that, but her heart was aching. "I was so stupid with Atticus...." she admitted, not clear if she was confessing that to her sister or to Anisa. "If either of you finds a fella...don't be an idiot like me," she then added. She was still holding the Bible like a shield, just in case either of them got trigger happy again suddenly. It was a time of mood swings.

The laughter stopped and Anisa's hands opened as her hands fell. Thankfully neither of the guns went off as they hit the ground. She stood there for half a moment as she stared at Dorothy and mouthed a single word. "Jackson." Turning she walked towards the galley. "Get off my boat." Her words were dead as she spoke them, her mascara clinging to her cheeks as the heels of her boots clicked against the cold floor. She already had found someone, and she had just buried him.

She was glad that Anisa had dropped her guns first, and lowered her own as she listened to Anisa. Daphne had no idea what that was about, but she handed Dorothy her gun back. "Come on Dory, let's get Fitz, and get out of here," she said, somewhat glad that the confrontation hadn't resulted in a shoot out of some kind.

Dorothy nodded, looking in the direction Anisa had went. There was so much more she could say to her - but perhaps they would be best left unsaid. "Goodbye, Anisa..." she called out, letting the words hang for a moment as she just listened to the sound of the heels of Anisa's boots. She was going to miss that sound. She already missed the old crew. And that just it was the problem - you never know you're in the good old days until you've already left them far behind. "Yes, let's go get your engineer..."

@FantasyChic@LadyRunic@Peridot "Well, I don't think you can use one of the cars, actually, with New York traffic you'd be better off running there as opposed to driving. Besides, weren't you all told to stay here? Well, guess it doesn't matter, you kids aren't exactly my problem. Here's the address to the office, if you are lucky, you'll get there pretty quickly, definitely faster than driving a car." Happy said, handing Allison a piece of paper, "That's the best I can do for you, I'd say fly or something if you could, but you can't really see the building from high in the air, I know, Mr. Stark actually tried seeing about that once he found out where the office was. Wanted to see if he could snipe Jakobsen before Pepper pointed out that would probably make things worse."

Marygold Isley

Location: Jakobsen's Campaign Office

Mary was a little surprised to hear Jakobsen deciding to take a phone call now of all times. This was really strange considering what the hell was going on, especially about who he was getting married to. She had heard of Jade Cornish, and was kind of surprised that she wound up saying yes to his proposal. Might prove that she likely wasn't completely in her right mind.

Alex took the phone from Ricky, unsure what exactly the problem was, or why Jade would be calling him from the clinic. He let out a small sigh, before he put the phone to his ear. "Hey there Jade, what seems to be the problem?"

Ricky made a clear face of ~your fiancΓ©e is crazy~ to Alex. ”You got me bloody pregnant, asshole!”

"...Wait... Say that again?" Alex asked, his eyes growing wide.

”You. Got. Me. Bloody. Pregnant.”

"...Well it usually takes two for that... But isn't this kind of good news? Though it might cause some discomfort for you if you wanted to go through with it..." Alex said slowly, since of course, it was her choice whether or not she'd actually go through with the pregnancy. He was secretly wishing that she would, he was starting to get towards the older end of life, and he had always wondered if he'd ever have kids.

Jade was silent for a moment. ”Of course I’m keeping it, you git.”

"This is great news Jade... How far along are you?" he asked, figuring if the doctors told her she was pregnant, they probably told her how many weeks.

”Ten weeks.”

"Okay," he said, starting to run numbers through his head, figuring that they might need to move the wedding up just a little bit because of this. Since he was wondering what would happen to him in the elections, or by then hopefully as President of the US, if he had a kid out of wedlock.

”I blame you for this.”

"Yeah, you can blame me all you want for it..." he responded, still going through numbers. He'd have to talk to Ricky about a few things he was pretty sure.

”You realize I can’t drink now, right?”

"...Now I realize that... Well, this should make things a little bit interesting... I have to go, we'll talk more about this when I get home, okay? Bye," he said, before he hung up the phone and handed it back to Ricky. "Okay Ricky, you might want to take notes, we've got to move the wedding up a little bit, it needs to happen sooner," he said immediately, looking at Ricky.

β€œ....Uh, why?” Ricky asked, pulling out his phone.

"Because apparently the reason Jade called is that she's pregnant," he said, not even explaining the rest of his thoughts.

β€œ....Are you sure you want to discuss this in front of the muties?”

"True, just make a note for later that we need to talk about it and that I am going home earlier than usual today."

β€œWhat about your appearance with Seth Meyers?”

"I forgot about that... Well, after this I'm going to go meet Jade at home and talk with her, and then still be able to make the show."

β€œAnd the phone interview with John Oliver?”

"I can do that in the car ride or something..."

Ricky nodded. β€œAnd your dinner reservation with Jade? Cancel it?”

"Hold it with that one, we still might go, I'll let you know if we need to cancel that one."

β€œAlright. Congratulations, man. Do you want me to send in security here?”

"No, I think we'll be fine," he said simply with the wave of his hand. Ricky just nodded his head and hurried out of the room. Alex let out a sigh, before he turned to the others. "Sorry about that, but I've learned the hard way to not ignore Jade's phone calls. What is it that we were talking about?"

"You were saying how you didn't order the attack on the mansion? Or more of that you were trying to convince us that but you were obviously failing at it," Mary said, but she glanced over at Future Pietro, who looked pissed off about something. It was obvious that he really wanted to say something, about what? She had no idea, but he looked like he wanted to punch someone and was fighting to not attack Jakobsen.

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Stark Tower - Lab

Mira just nodded towards Richard as he and the others just left the room. She was glad that they were out of there, it made it so that they had more space to do things or whatever. The lab wasn't so crowded with people who weren't being useful in any sort of way. She had managed to make a smaller gun of sorts, with space in it for a EMP generator. It looked like a normal pistol of sorts, so it was easy to carry around. "Will this work? It is small, light weight, and the end that the field comes from is larger, so it can create a large blast radius," she said, handing the pistol type gun to him.

Tony took it from her and looked at it, a bit impressed that she was able to create something like that so quickly. "Yeah, this works, pretty sure I can get a generator of sorts into this where you left space for it. Think you can see about making another one while I put together the generator?" he asked her, looking over at her.

"Yes, it shouldn't be a problem, it isn't too hard," she said, nodding her head and started to work on another one.

Lance Banner

Location: Stark Tower - Main Area

"Honestly brother, what makes you think these people are worth hanging around? I mean, maybe you should pay a little more attention to what you are doing, or what these people are even doing. After all, you have to remember, at the rate things are going, we are all going to end up dead."

Pietro fell silent, looking away from his sister. Lance was wondering what was going through his head, and how things were going to work out for him, especially since he was probably living in his worst nightmare right then. Sure, he didn't really care much for Pietro, but he still couldn't help but feel bad for him. His family that he had literally walked away from was standing in front of him, and he couldn't really get away from them.

"...I know everyone is probably on edge right now, but I think we should actually calm down and clear our heads. Arguing with one another isn't going to help us, at all..." Lance said softly, looking over at Damon in particular. He was used to anger issues, he was used to having to find several different ways to calm someone before they freaked out, or in his case growing up more of Hulked out.

"...Look, we are all here for one reason, the exact same reason. I'm with him on this one, the more we fight, the more we argue, the more likely there is going to be a major problem when we actually have to fight something, other than each other alright. We have bigger issues."

"No, Alcie hasn't been born yet... She's going to be born a few years from now..." Thalia said, looking at Carolina. "There are three reasons I came back in time, the main one being that I was the one who could time travel. The other two, one being that I knew Jakobsen. The one, the main reason I chose to come back... It was for Alcie, to see if I could give her a better life, if we could manage to find some way to change Jakobsen's mind or something to make it so that she wasn't a lab rat."

"...That makes sense... I don't think anyone would want to see a little girl go through something like that, ever," Lance said softly, looking at Thalia now. He was really curious as to what happened in the future, to everyone, after Jakobsen took office, but he figured that now likely wasn't the time to ask about that.

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: Trevor

Janelle didn't really pay much attention to the texts going off on the phones relating to the little group that had met together. She had ways to be able to send messages to others, using voice commands and such, but she preferred to not use it if she didn't have to. It was too much of a hassle, and she stuck with using the phone as an actual phone, and using it to call people. She heard the knock on the door, she had been sitting on the couch, and she was curious as to who was there.

Jason had been in his room, just flipping through the texts from Gideon, Cynthia, and Isley, he didn't respond to them either, preferring to just see what they had found out. He noticed that Scott wasn't responding either, which was to be expected considering the fact that he had wanted only Janelle to have his number. He heard the knock on the door and got up, heading out into the main area and he looked at his sister. "Did someone just knock?" he asked her.

She nodded at him, standing up from the couch. "Yeah, someone did... Though I don't know who would be showing up right now or something. It is strange if you ask me, but we should probably see who it is," she said, giving her brother a smile. Janelle grabbed her cane and made her way to the door, curious as to who was there.

"I've got it," he responded, hurrying in front of her and opening up the door. There he noticed Trevor, who was not someone that he recognized, the guy was a complete stranger to him. Jace looked at him, wondering what the hell he wanted, and decided to just ask him in the end. "Uh, can I help you with something?" he asked, moving slightly so he was standing in front of his sister more.

Theresa Sparks & Raynor Blake

Location: S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy - Building Two: Training Facilities

Agent Blake was actually looking forward to helping out with training the Phase Three team. Director Fury had approached him to become part of the program and while initially he hadn't been interested, that had changed quickly. He sat in the empty training room over in building two, tossing a ball of light in his hands around as he waited for his student so show up - Theresa Sparks, apparently called just plain old Sparky by just about everyone.

Sparky wasn't too sure what to think of this whole training situation. She wasn't much for combat or anything, but that didn't really matter, since it was expected of her in some way. Walking into the room, she saw Agent Blake and nodded towards him, "Hello there sir," she said, managing to stay somewhat calm as she spoke to him. She didn't really know him, only having really talked to him when she came out of the Framework, but she was in the same room as him, so it didn't really matter now.

Raynor raised an eyebrow, looking at her. While he was a senior agent in comparison to all of the cadets, he never was quite accustomed to being called sir. There were other things that he had been called - other titles and honors that had been given to him, but he preferred to not dwell on them too much. He had come here in order to secure his future, not to relive his past. "No need to call me sir," Raynor said with a smile. He drew a dagger from his belt, twirling it as he showed it to Sparky. "This is what I learned to channel my powers with - his name is Lyting," he then held the dagger out to Sparky.

"Uh... Okay then," she said, looking at the dagger. Sparky wondered why he was telling her about this dagger and holding it out to her, but it was definitely not something she generally saw lying around. It was an interesting weapon, and she took it from him, "It is definitely an interesting dagger... Where did you get it?" she asked, handing it back to him.

"Abilities run in my family," Raynor explained, giving her a smile. "But if you listen to Lyting, he can help you to channel your powers, like this..." Raynor raised the dagger and it started to glow with a soft yellow light, before a blast of light went off, hitting the dead center of a target across the room. The light had solidified and the target was smoking, with a gigantic hole where it had hit. "Now you try."

"I don't know if I'll be able to hit the target... I tried, but it wasn't very easy, didn't take someone out until in the simulation he killed me... I don't think it'll be so simple to be able to shoot the target like that, but I'll try, I guess..." she said, before electricity started to dance along her fingertips. A moment later, she sent a blast of electricity flying at the target, slamming into the middle of it. It looked burnt slightly where the blast had hit it, and she was a little surprised that she had managed to hit it.

Raynor couldn't help but be impressed, his eyes widening. He had assumed that she would need Lyting to assist her in channeling her powers, but he put the dagger away. No wonder Fury had been having Agent Romanoff work with her on strategy. She had raw power and natural talent at this sort of thing. "So I need to rethink everything I was going to teach you today..." Raynor mused.

She nodded, wondering what he had planned on originally. "Sorry if I kind of messed up what you were planning..." she muttered, and she started hovering a few inches off the ground now. It tended to happen slightly when she wasn't paying attention, or if she got nervous about something, no matter what she did.

"Don't be sorry for being exceptional," Raynor said bluntly. He walked off to the side, grabbing a bag that the Ultimate Frisbee team used. "I want you to either catch or zap these, okay?" he said, throwing one up in the air. He figured she could either fly to get it or she could zap it. Either way, he imagined that she was about to exceed all expectations again. And she wasn't even from Operations. She reminded him of the Rogers experiment.

"Uh, okay then, sure..." she said, before she sent a shot of electricity flying at the Frisbee. The bolt slammed into it and it fell to the ground. She hadn't noticed that she was hovering, and stumbled backwards slightly and fell to the ground, not used to shooting at something without her feet on the ground.

Raynor surrounded her with light, slowing her down and breaking her fall. He deposited her onto the ground gently and released her only once he was certain that she had become steady on her feet. "Your electricity seems amazing - just need some work with the flying," he explained. "Fortunately, my powers let me cheat a little bit, so I can fly with you..." He then grabbed a small soft ball, the kind used by little kids for dodgeball, and held it up. "Let's play catch."

"I uh... I kind of forgot I wasn't on the ground..." she said, blushing slightly, she really did need to work on her flying, and doing something while she was in the air. It wasn't very easy for her, that is for sure, but she'd try her best. "Alright, let's do that..." she said, before she took off into the air.

"It's alright, you're still learning - it took me decades to figure out my powers," Raynor said with a laugh. He surrounded himself with light and lifted himself up into the air, tossing her the ball gently. It was a pretty easy throw and he was mostly wanting to help her become accustomed to moving in the air. It was different than fighting on the ground, with one's sense of balance pretty much being completely ruined.

"...Decades? How old are you?" she asked as she tried to catch the ball, problem was, she couldn't figure out the right way to move, in order to easily be able to grab it. Sparky tried to catch it, but it slipped through her arms and she kind of spun around slightly when she moved to grab it.

"I got my powers very young," Raynor said with a shrug. "How old do you think I am?" he asked. He suspended the ball with light, holding it up for her so that way she could take hold of it without hurting herself. He didn't want her to break her spine trying to grab at it. In his opinion, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s medical facilities were lacking.

"Uh, well... You look close to the same age as me... I don't know how old to guess for you though..." she said with a slight shrug. Once again, she blushed slightly as she reached up and grabbed the ball so that she could toss it back to him. When she threw the ball, she kind of spun slightly in the air again, but she managed to get the ball close to where he was so he'd be able to catch it.

Raynor caught it with ease, giving her a smile. He ignored the question as to his age, figuring that it wasn't important. However, a bit of idle conversation would be good for her. Whether or not Sparky realized it or not, she was making her job a lot harder by talking during this. It split her attention between the tasks, causing her to have to have even better control to remain in the air. "No need to be embarrassed - you're doing well," he reassured her, noticing her blush as he tossed the ball back.

"Uh, well... I don't feel like I'm doing well at this... Considering I keep spinning around in the air and not staying steady..." she said, before she tried to catch the ball again. This time, she managed to swoop over and catch the ball somewhat easily. However, when she grabbed it, she ended up falling somewhat, but managed to catch herself in the air and fly back upwards. There was a slight problem when she throw the ball back to him. She managed to send it flying towards him rather easily, however, she completely lost her concentration when it came to staying airborne and plummeted towards the ground, falling out of the air.

"I didn't expect you to stay airborne at all," Raynor explained, his eyes widening as she started to plummet. Instead of grabbing her with light, he flew forward himself and grabbed her, cradling her easily in his arms. Her face was a few inches away from his and he blushed slightly, just waiting to see how she was feeling. "Do you want to lie down?" he asked her softly, worried that she might have overdone it.

"Uh... N-N-No, I'm fine," she said, her face bright red as she found that she couldn't stop blushing. It was a little strange, seeing that they were so close together, especially since she noticed that he was blushing as well. "We can keep trying, I-I-I will be fine..."

"You're blushing," Raynor said softly, giving her a bit of a crooked smile before he set her down gently, making sure that she had her footing before he let go of her. He was used to women blushing around him - apparently he was quite attractive - but he hardly ever had any interest in them. Most of them were liars, speaking nothing but falsehoods, and it aggravated him. He could always tell when someone was lying to him. It was his curse.

"Y-Y-Yeah? Well you were too..." she said, taking a few deep breaths and she managed to lessen her blushing, but she still was a little bit. "A-A-Anyway, let's go..." she said, before she moved away slightly and took off into the air again.

Raynor just chuckled a bit, flashing her another grin as he went back into the air again. He tossed the ball over to her gently, noticing the way that she continued to blush and stammer. He had had a small suspicion that something like this would happen, yet he couldn't deny that he felt something as well. The blood in his body was rushing and he honestly couldn't have said how long they had already been in there, training. "I heard Fury's having you work with Romanoff," he mentioned, attempting to change the subject.

"Uh yeah... He is..." she said, managing to stop stammering as she flew over and caught the ball, this time having no trouble staying in the air this time. She threw it and it went straight at him, and she was completely stable this time around, having no problems.

"Nice throw," Raynor complimented. He tossed it back at her, figuring that once she got the hang of this, they'd move up to the next challenge. At the moment, she was just largely staying in place, but she wouldn't be just hovering for the majority of the fights she'd be in, as much as his stomach twisted with displeasure at that thought. He'd have her dodge the ball next. And once she understood that, it'd be up to her to hit him with it.

"Uh, thanks..." she said, before she caught the ball and managed to stay steady once again. It was becoming easier for her to not have problems staying airborne now, which was probably a good thing. Once again, she managed to toss the ball back without any sort of issues.
The first day, they had largely just thrown the ball back and forth, until Raynor had determined that Sparky was pretty adept at keeping her balance when she wasn't moving. He knew that he ought to train her with her electricity, but she hadn't shown any difficulties with that. Lyting hadn't even been needed, a fact that continued to surprise him. As she entered the room for their next training session, he was already in the air waiting for her. "Today, we're going to be working on moving while in the air," he explained, holding up a traditional dodgeball this time. "Your goal is to not get hit."

Sparky nodded when she walked into the room, she expected them to try and move around or something while in the air, it probably was going to be more difficult than the day before, but she expected it to be that way, so it wasn't surprising. "Well, let's get going then," she said, taking off into the air.

Raynor threw the dodgeball at her, aiming for her stomach. She managed to dodge out of the way of the dodgeball, just barely though as she felt the wind rush by her from where it had gone. She spun around as she tried to stay steady in the air again, thankfully not falling, but it was hard to stay steady when you were moving.

"Focus on your center," Raynor advised her. "You can't act like you're on the ground when you move in the air...The air isn't going to be there to catch your feet, so your stability comes from your center of gravity." He had the ball return to him with light and he tossed it at her again, aiming for her head this time.

"Alright... I've got it... I think..." she sad as she watched the ball come flying at her again. She wasn't quite fast enough to dodge out of the way of the ball, as it slammed into her head. However, despite how much it kind of hurt, she was able to steady herself in the air, not falling.

Raynor winced slightly, seeing her get hit with the ball but she took it like a trooper. "Alright, new idea...Since I really don't want to explain to Jim why you got a concussion..." Raynor flew over to the small music dock in the training area and soon, a familiar song would fill the room - the YMCA song. "Try doing the moves to this without losing your balance."

"...Please tell me you are joking... I already make somewhat of a fool of myself when I'm in the air..." she muttered, more focused on staying in the air instead of falling to the ground. She wasn't too sure about doing any sort of movements, she didn't trust herself to not fall from the air again. Though she wasn't sure if she'd be mad about it if he caught her again.

He shook his head. "I'm not one for dancing, but my cousin was...And it was almost the other song, the macarena. A lot of agents and individuals we identify with flight powers are trained this way," he explained. "If it makes you feel better, I'll be making a fool of myself dancing as well."

"I uh... I don't dance, like... Ever..." she muttered, looking down and floating back down towards the ground. She didn't really like making a fool of herself in front of anyone, or doing anything of the sort like that, she was a bit of a wallflower. She'd actually prefer being hit by a dodgeball than dancing randomly.

"...Alright," Raynor relented. He didn't like the idea of her getting hurt with another dodgeball, but if she wouldn't do the injury free method, he just had to make do and work with her. He picked up the dodgeball and chucked it at her chest this time, watching to see what she would do.

She wasn't really prepared for the dodgeball, she hadn't even really been looking at Raynor, she had been looking at the floor. When Sparky did look up, she barely managed to dodge out of the way of the ball, and somehow even with how little she had been prepared for it, she had managed to stay steady, not falling.

"You need to keep your eyes on your opponent at all times," Raynor said gently. "Look away and it gives them an opportunity to strike - and it could cost you your life. You're special, Sparks...I don't want to see you end up dead like Rivera." He then threw another dodgeball at her, flying high above her.

"...Why do you think I'm special... I'm no one important, sure I did do better than several people in the Framework or something, but I'm not one special..." she said as she managed to dodge out of the way of the ball again as she flew up higher after him, managing not to fall still.

Raynor held onto the dodgeball, looking at her sadly. It broke his heart to hear her not realize that she was incredibly special. "Most of the people in the world that think they're important - they aren't," Raynor said bluntly. "They aren't like you. You're an engineer who signed up for a dangerous experiment, fought nobly in the Framework, and has a natural gift for powers...There's a reason why Fury's taken an interest in you, Sparks. And if I'm going to be honest, there's a reason why he asked me to make sure that I train you."

"...There's a reason Fury asked you to train me or whatever? That's a little weird... I still don't get how I'm so different from everyone else... But it doesn't really matter either way..." she said as she managed to fly up level with him. This whole thing that he was talking about made no sense to her whatsoever, but there wasn't much else she could do.

"Everyone here is unique," was all Raynor would say, as he threw another dodgeball at her, clearly indicating that that line of conversation was over. He was under orders to keep certain pieces of information from certain individuals. He knew things about just about everyone currently in the program, a lot of it coming to light after the anti-HYDRA screening that was conducted after Rivera's death. Some of it was amusing - some heartbreaking - and some just bizarre.

"Why don't you say more about it?" she asked softly, dodging out of the way of the dodgeball again. However, like the day before, she ended up spinning around, and falling yet again. She might have just been getting lucky before, but there wasn't much else she could do about it, as she failed to catch herself again.

Raynor caught her in his arms again, saying nothing as he looked into her eyes for a moment. He was very much aware of the physical proximity, the way her hair seemed to shine in the lights - though that could have just been from her sweating - and how sturdy she felt. "Why do you want me to tell you why you're special? You're special because you're you."

"I-I don't know... I just find it weird that you are wanting to just change the subject randomly..." she said, blushing slightly when she looked at him. It was weird, there was something about him that she couldn't quite place, and there wasn't much else she could do. Right now she was focused on not stammering so much when she spoke to him or something.

He hadn't let go of her. "I need to help you with your powers, Sparks..." he explained softly. It was a half lie. There were other things that he just couldn't discuss with her - not yet. S.H.I.E.L.D. was an organization based on secrets and intelligence - but as much as they gathered information, protecting information was an equal part of their job.

"If you say so..." she managed to say, but she did notice that he hadn't let go of her. It was still a little weird to her, being in his arms, and she found Raynor to be an interesting person, for the most part anyway. She just went along with it, falling silent. A knock on the door broke the silence. It was time for the next group's training session and Raynor let go of her, setting her down gently. "Same time tomorrow, agent," he said, clearing his throat slightly.

"O-O-Okay," she stammered, still blushing slightly as she headed out the door.
Raynor took a deep breath, clearing his head as he was getting ready for his final training lesson with Agent Sparks of the week. After this, who knew if he'd get a chance to work with her again - as much as he wanted to. There had to be a line when it came to being a professional and he knew the S.H.I.E.L.D. policy on relations between agents. "So...How are you feeling about your abilities?" Raynor asked, looking over at her.

"Still not positive in my abilities, but a lot better than a few days ago..." she said, managing to keep calm and not freak out about seeing him again or something. This had definitely been a weird past few days for her, and she knew that aside from her training with her powers, she doubted anything would come of it.

"Well, if you still need help, I can request to work with you for another week..." Raynor offered, looking away from her. He was worried that if he made eye contact with Sparky, he wouldn't be able to concentrate. And today was the day that he needed to be able to focus, as he was going to have her combine her two powers together in something similar to combat. He liked his hair the way it was and didn't want to get shocked by being too distracted to dodge if things went wrong.

"Okay," she said, nodding her head. Though Sparky did notice that Raynor had purposefully looked away from her, and it made her feel a little sad, the fact that he seemed to be trying to avoid anything or whatever. Not like something was going to happen at all anyway, and Fury likely would get pissed if something did happen between the two of them.

"Alright, I'll uh...I'll make it happen," he said, forcing himself to not sound too excited at the prospect. He grabbed his dagger - Lyting - and set it aside, purposefully disarming himself for this session. "So today, you're going to be flying and then shooting bolts of electricity at things I'm throwing...If you can't hit them, dodge them," he explained, jumping up into the air himself. He tried not to pay attention to how good her hair smelled or the way it caught the lights of the room.

Sparky nodded her head, and took off into the air after him. Based on what he had told her about his dagger, she was kind of glad that he wasn't using it, especially if when he channeled his powers through it, they might be more powerful or something. That is if he decided to use his powers, he might just throw more things at her. Raynor looked at her, losing his focus for a moment before he shook his head again. Focus, damn it! he told himself. He grabbed a dodgeball - something easy for starters - and threw it at her, waiting to see what she'd do. Rubber wouldn't conduct electricity, but she should be able to use the force of it to knock it out of her way.

She was trying to focus as well, and thankfully she had pulled it off, flying around the ball that had been sent her way and she managed to stay in the air without too much effort. Sparky looked over at Raynor again, but she wasn't having the best time trying to focus. She wondered how her sisters would react, seeing her having problems focusing because of some guy. They probably would mock her for all eternity.

Raynor then grabbed a five pound weight, looking at Sparky for a moment. He really didn't want to throw this at her, but he knew that she'd see a lot worse thrown her way before her career as an agent was over. It took every ounce of self control, but he chucked the weight at her, aiming for her shin. "Focus, a-agent," Raynor stammered - partially giving himself that command again.

"I know..." she managed to say, though she noticed that he had stammered as he had spoken the two words. She just barely managed to lift her foot in time for the weight to soar underneath her, dodging out of the way. She stumbled slightly in the air, but was still able to stay airborne, but her focus was pretty much shot, it was becoming somewhat of a problem for her.

"Alright, try shooting sparks," Raynor advised, blushing furiously as he threw a frisbee in her direction, figuring it would be pretty easy for her to deflect with her powers. It was headed towards her head, so she'd need to move as well as strike, allowing her to truly combine those two powers. But all he could think about was how pretty her hair was as it flowed in the air.

She nodded, as she sent sparks flying at the Frisbee. The electricity slammed into it, but she wasn't quite fast enough to dodge out of the way of the disc and it hit her in the head, but she was easily able to stay airborne this time, not even stumbling in the slightest. "Try again," he encouraged her, picking up another frisbee and tossing it her way.

This time around, she wasn't exactly prepared for it, as she tried to shoot electricity, but there was nothing but a few sparks. She managed to dodge out of the way, but she stumbled and flipped around, before she started falling towards the ground, finding it hard to get back into the air as she fell.

Raynor caught her in his arms again, but it still sent goosebumps all over his body, as if it was the first time he had done this for her. "Do you...do you need to take a water break?" he asked her, struggling to speak.

"Uh, N-N-No... I think I'm alright..." she stammered out, noticing how close they were to one another, and now she couldn't stop kind of staring at him. She just stared at him, knowing that it was probably a little weird, but she couldn't help it. Raynor stared back at her, finding himself unable to look away as well. It was like it was magnetic and the longer she stared at him, the more he couldn't help but look back at her, getting lost in her gorgeous dark brown eyes.

"Uh..." she stammered, unable to find the words to go with her thoughts. She knew that they should probably get back to training, but she was finding it almost impossible to say a complete sentence now. It was weird, but there wasn't much she could do about it. She just stared back at him, not able to look away.

"D-do....do you want me to put you down?" Raynor asked softly.

"N-N-No... Preferably not..." Sparky replied, not being able to stop from stuttering, not to mention her face was bright red since she was blushing a lot.

Raynor held her a little bit closer, before he closed the distance between them and kissed her passionately. He could just feel all of the tension release and simultaneously build, tasting her lips - cherry? he noted absentmindedly. Needless to say, they weren't going to get much more training completed at all...

Sparky kissed him back, unsure of what exactly to think. They were supposed to be training, but instead, this happened. She hadn't expected something like this to happen, and she knew that it was possible that they'd get in trouble if someone found out considering the policies about relationships with other agents, but that didn't matter to her. She didn't care, and was happy to be there in his arms.
