Sapphire

Location: The Mutant Underground - Washington D.C. Station
Skills N/A

Sapphire didn't really stick around to hear what was going on inside, but she was almost certain that Veil was going to not be too thrilled by how she had snapped. Honestly in her mind everyone deserved it, and she didn't very much care for any repercussions from it. It was in the past now, and that's all that could be said about it. That didn't make her feel any better though, as literally everyone started making a few snide comments about her while she was standing right there. Sure, they tended to do stuff like that to Havok all the time, but she at least hadn't teased him or insulted him while the newbies were standing right there. That definitely was not the way to stay on her good side. Sapphire hadn't just stormed off and away from everyone, she had gone outside, wanting some fresh air and to be away from just about everyone else.

"Hey, wait up! I don't have super speed, Sapphire!" Havok called out, about ten feet behind her as he headed outside. Almost instantly, it started pouring down rain outside. Washington D.C.'s weather was weird like that at times - fine but hot one moment, and raining hard the next.

"What do you want Havok?" Sapphire asked, just sort of standing in the rain not really caring, she didn't look over at him either. She kind of wanted to be alone, and was a little surprised that he had followed her outside and it wasn't Veil or something.

"We never got to finish making our bets and snide comments."

"Not exactly in the mood to do that anymore."

He stopped running, having finally caught up to her now. "So what are you in the mood to do, then?"

"Honestly? Nothing really, just mainly want to get away from them!" she said, when she said "them" her tone had a slight bite to it. It was clear she was still annoyed from everything and wasn't in the mood to really talk too much.

"Alright, so you're out here, now what?" he asked her. "Since if Glimpse is bad news like we think - and the new girl is obviously rich and we're dealing with Shaw, another rich dude, as our big bad to take down... Everyone in there who is blind to this is in danger without us."

"Honestly Havok, I don't really care anymore! Not like they'd listen to a damn word I said about anything, so why the hell does it even matter? Let me tell you flat out, it doesn't seem to matter at all."

Havok sighed slightly. He was a perfectionist at heart and wanted to be able to fix Sapphire's emotions, but clearly it wasn't working. Maybe the best thing he could do for her would be to give her space. "Alright. I'll leave you be. But Sapphire... we're a family, but if you don't think this family is the right fit for you, then there's no shame in leaving."

"...Sorry for snapping, just everyone in there was getting under my skin, a lot, and it honestly was not helping at all..."

He shook his head. "I'm not the one you should be saying sorry to, Sapphire. Sure, Spark Plug was being a bit of a dick to you - Glimpse is obviously a traitor - and the new girl seems to be a brat... but me, Veil, and the others? We're only trying to support you."

"...I'm also not one to usually apologize," she pointed out, shaking her head slightly. "And the new people are bad news if you ask me..."

Havok chuckled slightly. "Yeah, we know you aren't one to apologize," he said, rolling his eyes a bit. She reminded him of his brother in that manner. Cyclops never apologized to him whenever he messed up. "And of course they're bad news. Two rich brats show up on the same day? Did they miss the memo that the wealthy get automatically bumped up to at least the X-Factor league of teams?"

"Hey!" she said with a slight laugh, "I find that insulting!" She knew he was trying to cheer her up slightly, but there was a part of her mind that did not really want to laugh everything off. Namely the part of her memory that had been triggered by Leighton's words about everything. Only Veil actually knew about that memory, but now she was kind of wondering if maybe she should tell Havok about it.

"What? Everyone knows the hierarchy has the Avengers and the Fantastic Four as the A-list team, the X-Men as the B-list team, X-Factor as the C-list team, and then we're all the way down at the bottom, like, dirt level team."

"So nice about it Havok, but that is true."

He chuckled a little bit. "Hey, I just know that we're pretty much nothing in the grand scheme," he teased her. "We don't even get photoshoots - do you miss that?"

"Hell no, only reason I was with X-Factor was because they literally paid for me to go to school, I never even went to high school except for like, 2 months freshman year or so..."

Havok smirked at her, almost looking like he was about to flex his muscles. "I did it all - got my degree in geophysics. It's uh..." he faltered slightly. "Well, that's how I met Lorna."

"Yeah, X-Factor was the only reason I really went back to school to get a degree of any sort," she said, shaking her head slightly.

He nodded slightly. He could think about Polaris later. "So why join the Mutant Underground, then?"

"... I don't really know... I mean, I guess I just wanted to help out others, no matter how much they might annoy me."

"Well you are in luck, then, since there's a brat back inside who could really use your help," he told her gently.

"...The thing that set me off was the fact that she was all so nonchalantly going "Oh yeah, I froze a guy! But don't worry! He's completely fine! I just don't really want that to happen again!" Honestly, her tone of voice with something like that pissed me off... That combined with everyone else essentially making comments and it made me want to strangle just about everyone there!"

"Well, she seems like she's just discovered her powers recently," Havok shrugged. "And given how nice her clothes are, the worst thing that's probably happened to her before this was getting a pimple on picture day."

"That doesn't give her any sort of excuse about it! She didn't even sound like she cared about hurting someone even if it was an accident, so honestly, she's not just a brat, she's an emotionless brat who doesn't even deserve help!"

He sighed slightly. "I don't agree with Professor X on a lot of things, but I do know that everyone deserves help," Havok said, before he turned and headed back inside. There wasn't much else he could say.

Sapphire bit her lip slightly, before making a split second decision to tell him the one thing that up until now only Veil knew about, and she raced after him. "I killed someone the exact same way that brat was saying she accidentally used her powers on someone else, I didn't know about my powers and that is literally how I discovered my own abilities. Except unlike her I can't brush it off and literally watched as another person fell to the ground frozen solid, looking like a big block of ice and shattered into a million pieces."

Havok paused for a moment, looking back at Sapphire. "Life isn't fair."

"Oh yeah, I know that for a fact, but that's the thing. I can't help someone who one wasn't exactly being too nice to me, and two who doesn't seem to give a damn about something like that. I just can't at all."

"Then tell Veil you aren't going to help the newbie and that's that, then."

"Oh, she's also going to definitely going to be not too thrilled by the blow up or whatever... I'll talk to her about it later."

Jack Theriot

Location: Morlock Tunnels

Jack waved slightly at Max when he went through the portal, and he raised an eyebrow slightly at Casper and James. The two were hitting it off somewhat well, that much was obvious, and it made him wonder what exactly was going through his brother's head. Then again, he stopped wondering that sort of thing, considering the fact that Casper spent half the time talking to Ben a bit, and from the sounds of it before James healed Casper his brother had been talking to his ghost friend about him. That sort of thing was a bit annoying, especially considering the fact that he only could hear half the conversation.

Deciding to just ignore their conversation and what sounded like obvious flirting, Jack wandered over to check up on Sunshine, since she was being oddly quiet, and that could be a bit worrisome from what he could tell about the teen. "Hey there Rookie, how are you doing?" he asked her as he walked over, giving her a bit of a smile, before deciding to ask her something. "I have a question for you... Are you sure you want to get that brand on your face? There isn't any really going back from it, and it's a commitment for it... So are you really sure you want to do it?"

"I don't think he's the smartest one around, he's more of the opposite of it if you ask me," Penance said simply when Titian made the comment about him thinking he was being the smartest person in the room. That was a dumb sort of thought for him to think truly, and as far as she knew, nothing had really warranted it. Since several people had just pointed out the problems with the words that he had spoken, and now he thought he was smarter then everyone else because they called him out? That was just an idiotic way of thinking.

Then of course, the lights decided to go out, and she was wondering what the hell happened to cause that. "Well this is certainly a bit of a predicament. Unfortunately, I do not have any sort of light source in my possession, did not expect to need one considering we are in a house that for the most part had power until now... And that man, just because everyone else was not seeming to buy what he was saying when he decides to throw a temper tantrum and break down the door like that, a bit of an over reaction."

"Though a light source is the least of our worries at the moment, as heat likely will be the more concerning thing, it is getting to be a bit chilly now isn't it?" she commented, her eyes flickering around the room ever so slightly, not too sure really what anyone else would say about everything. Considering at the moment it was obvious that no one else seemed to have a light source at the moment, which likely would cause some problems, and there didn't seem to be anyone coming to the room to check up on them.

Andrew Rossi and Demetria Clarke

Location:Briefing Room

Seems like the woman was just going to leave the group hanging a bit, not really sticking around to answer questions. It definitely was an interesting way to make a first impression, as this was the first mission that Rae Gardner had assigned the team since taking over the company. Andrew was silent for a few moments, simply putting his miniaturized suit back into his pocket and setting down his tools before pulling out a phone from his pocket and throwing up a hologram projection of sorts.

"Alright, so since Serval is hosting this thing and Ms. Gardner isn't exactly being too helpful, odds are it is going to be held in this room. This is where the main corporate offices are, however when you remove all of the tables from the room it becomes large and spacious and acts somewhat in a way to a large ballroom. Shouldn't be too difficult, doesn't look like there are too many entrances to really worry about which is always a good thing since it is on the sixth floor of the building."

"You really need to catch up on the times," Sapphire said to Allannah, "That is not really how things are done around here and haven't been for the past 400 hundred years or so at the least. Well, yes, wars and stuff are still around, but this group is probably just a bunch of rich snobs who think they are better then everyone else. Hey, if it wasn't for the whole he's not actually rich thing Watts would fit right in." Sapphire said, with a slight jab towards Watts with that last line, giving him a bit of a smirk.

"Yeah, odds of anyone there actually fighting each other with their fists are slim... Now, a very loud argument breaking out, that one is sure to happen. Especially since Hank Pym has a very strong dislike for any Stark, so yeah... Feel like if they start talking they might yell at each other but probably not punch each other, I don't think anyway... Or hope not... But depends on what sort of trouble you're talking about," he continued, glancing over at Evelyn now.

"You mean like the kind of trouble you'd be in if you ran into Hank Pym for creating a shrinking suit?"

"I can understand why Pym wouldn't want that technology falling into the wrong hands! But firing me over it was a bit of a strong reaction, but understandable..."

"Or when Stark Industries lawyers came after you for that same suit since they thought that it resembled the Iron Man suit."

"That is not true at all! My suit can do things the Iron Man suit can't do, and the Iron Man suit can do a few things that my suit can't! And the courts agreed with me on that one..."

"So I feel like you would be the one causing the most problems just by being in the room."

"Well it's a big room, odds of me running into either of them are slim... At least I hope it's like that honestly... I'll see about trying to avoid them deliberately in order to avoid any sort of arguing..."

"Aww, I so would have loved to see Hank Pym and Tony Stark come to an agreement on something! Their mutual sort of hatred of you!"

"...I'll see if I can pull up a guest list or something for the party," Andrew then said, deciding to best ignore Sapphire for the moment, and he went to work seeing about finding a guest list.

"And don't call me that," she said to Wesley, before deciding to answer his question, "Appropriate attire? Who the hell talks like that? Anyway, what do you think maybe? I mean really, you sound like you come from the 1800s or something with that tone of voice. What do you think the dress code would be? Think about it, a bunch of rich people who probably have enough fancy clothes between them to open their own high end mall. So probably dress nice and keep any sort of gear you need for fighting in case something bad does happen nearby."

Marygold Isley

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion

"I'm honestly not too sure what I think about the newcomers after all. There are quite a few that belong to the Big Three which is making me wonder a bit, but as of right now, they seem okay to me," she said to Eva with a bit of a shrug. Mary glanced over towards where Leda was, and she nodded her head somewhat in agreement with it seeming like Leda might have a thing or something for the daughter of Poseidon. It wouldn't surprise her, but maybe she'd find some way to tease her friend about it later.

Hearing Chiron talk about Capture the Flag, she looked over at Eva again. "So, what team do you want to be on? I personally would prefer us to be on the Athena side as opposed to the Ares team," she said with a slight smile. The Athena kids generally were some of the smartest people around, especially considering what Athena was the Goddess of. She half expected the Ares kids to come up with a strategy of just charging straight in and hoping for the best.

Frederick Flynn

Location: New York Sanctum
Skills: N/A

"Sounds like a plan to me, let's see about getting on with this, I'm all for bashing a few heads together along the way if we need to," he said with a slight shrug, listening to what everyone else was saying. So, they'd be heading to Serval Industries which would definitely be an interesting thing. He'd heard about the company, they were known for technology that they created, as well as owning their own corporate superhero team, X-Factor, which Wanda had mentioned a few times now, being the part of the building that they needed to head to. There was one thing he noticed, and that was that no one had picked up the sling ring that Strange was giving them, and he let out a bit of a sigh.

"...Well, since no one else seems to want it, give it here," Flynn said to Strange, taking the sling ring from him. He wasn't too sure about the idea of messing with magic or something at all, but whatever, no one else was really touching the sling ring. Made him wonder if anyone else just didn't really want to mess with magic either. "Well, here goes nothing..." he said before he followed Strange's instructions, using the sling ring and creating a portal to Serval Industries for them to go through. He honestly had not really expected for that to work.

"Oh this place? It is nothing more then place in my mind where I can glance and see all the memories a person has. It is an interesting ability, let me tell you that. That memory there," she said, pointing over towards the one of Alex and Hel, "Is also from a different reality... One in which Erik does not rule the world, one in which mutants are the minority. It is an interesting reality to say the least... There isn't too much that can be done about it... As for waking up, it is not so simple of a thing, however give it a few minutes and I should wake up, I can control the rush of memories now, so I can go through them a lot quicker so I don't have to be stuck here forever, however you can join me and sift through these memories. Any memories at all, could even look through yours if you want me to, but that is entirely up to you."

"Wanda is doing alright last I checked," Flynn said to Annie with a slight smile before turning to look at Guin and Allison entered the room.

October looked up at Allison in curiosity. "If we were all members, shouldn't it be called X-Women?" she asked. She then looked at Flynn apologetically. "There are more of us than there are you at the moment."

"Yeah, I totally noticed that, and offense not taken at that," he said with a bit of a shrug towards October, looking over at Guin again. "How sure are you that reality shifted or something or whatever. Since no offense to you, but that does sound a bit far fetched honestly... Another world or something? How do we know that someone just didn't mess with your mind or you don't belong in the madhouse or something?" He wasn't sounding angry or annoyed or anything, he was just raising a valid point. So far Guin and Allison hadn't given any sort of indicator for them to just flat out believe them.

Klara glanced over at the portal that Runa had opened, thinking for a moment about things. It had been a little while since she had talked to her cousin, and now the Red Guard apparently attacked them. She shot a glare at Max, "Might I ask yet again why you should care about anything?" she asked him with an eye roll. It was more evident that she didn't care too much at all for Max, but she looked over at Runa. "It's been a while since I've seen you Runa... Or talked to you really... So, Red Guard is on your doorstep? Why would they go after you in Australia?"

Runa bit her lip slightly, looking at Max for a moment in confusion. She didn't recognize him, so she figured he was one of her cousin's friends. "They're after Lance and his father.... The Hulk...."

"Give me a moment Runa, and feel free to ignore this weirdo," she said with a slight nod towards Max, and she went to go ask Hawkeye something. "Hey Hawkeye, my cousin and some of her friends were attacked by the Red Guard, I was wondering if maybe they could come here," she asked. Klara was at least nice enough to ask something like this first aside from just assuming. She contemplated mentioning the fact that it would include the Hulk, but decided against it. From what she knows the guy hasn't had any problems for years, so hopefully he wouldn't have any problems now.

Hawkeye gave Klara a nod. "Only because it's your cousin, Pipsqueak."

"Thanks, and don't call me pipsqueak," she said with a slight laugh and wandered over to the portal opening again and looked at her cousin. "Alright, got permission from Hawkeye, you guys can come on through and come here, okay?"

"Thanks, Klara," Runa said softly. "I'll go get the others, then...."

"See you in a little bit then."

"You're wanting to do what now? Seriously Casper that is probably the dumbest thing ever and likely would result in your death! Look, don't do something dumb, please, I don't want to have to deal with that, seriously... And yes, infinity stones are bad news, they are crazy and everything like that, but still..." Mary said instantly, looking over at Casper. Honestly was he that stupid? Besides, in her mind just about most everyone else in the Guild would be an even worse leader then Remy was. "Would you really want one of them in charge?" she asked, nodding her head towards the others.

"Ooh. a mutiny sounds like a fun idea," Chrysi said a bit gleefully, before looking over at Anastasia. "Please, I seriously doubt you'd be able to fight me girl."

"See what I mean!"

Jack meanwhile had gotten Lexi settled down in a spare room, and walked back in to what looked to him like a bit of a stand off. "What are you people talking about?"

"How about you shut up and pretend you aren't even here or around or something. If you weren't here and weren't paying attention then that is your own stupidity!"

Jack fell silent at that a bit, before looking over at Casper. "So... What exactly were you talking about?"

Gambit was still in the other room with Rogue and hadn't heard what Bobbi had said, seems like at the moment they were on their own a bit for how to deal with Chrysi.

"Thank you," Banner nodded at Cass. "Kill them or not, it won't stop the Red Guard from coming after us," he muttered. "I recommend wiping their minds, if you can."

"I'm on the whole let's NOT kill them team, I mean, don't you think that would just make them come after us a whole lot faster? A bunch of agents disappear or are killed, they aren't going to not go after us." Lance pointed out, not really wanting to kill anyone if they couldn't help it.

"I'm fine either way, but honestly, make up your damn minds soon, it'll take a while for us to get back to the US from here." Wolverine grumbled, getting a bit impatient with the others.

Hearing the question about where Runa was, Lance had a slight guess as to where she had gone. "I can see about going to find her," he said, before he headed back off towards the house to see if Runa had gone over there.

Queen Valda

Location: The Palace - The Marram Marshes
Skills: N/A

"...Well at least we aren't in the Castle anymore, though how we ended up way out here is a bit beyond me... That is kind of nice though, it means that hopefully we won't have to worry too much about those things following us... But it does make me worry... Maybe we should see about going back or something after Myrus. If those things were attacking us, then there is a chance that he might be out there and targeted as well, and I don't want to see him get hurt at all..."

She was worried about her brother as she glanced around the cottage where they had found themselves. Valda didn't know what to really do about this entire situation. She didn't know too much about the Marshes, mainly only the basics about them. However, when Titan mentioned finding water or supplies for them to be able to stay there for a little while. For the first time now since she had been brought to the Castle in the first place, she sort of felt at home. "I can see what I can find, shouldn't be too hard, there has to be a few things around here that we could use," she said simply. "For once I can actually say I know for a fact what I am doing."

Bruce Banner

Location: Wizard Tower - the Courtyard
Skills: Cosmic Manipulation, Enhanced Agility

Bruce's eyes flashed with anger, and in one swift motion he moved his fist and it slammed right into Arnora's face with a very loud crack. "Don't you dare call me that," he snapped at her, and Arnora's nose was now severely broken. Like it flat out did not look too much like a nose or something anymore, and Bruce honestly didn't feel like he cared too much about it. Her own fault for basically teasing him or something when he was already in a bad mood. She had deserved it in his mind, and then he whirled around to face Halley. "And last I checked oh sister of mine whose a stickler for rules, our dear aunt the All-Mother of Asgard is perfectly fine with us meddling in affairs on Midgard, so saying that doing so would be breaking the rules is a bit of a stretch, even for you."

His eyes had a slight flame to them it would seem, however it was unclear as to whether or not it was from anger or if he was using any of his abilities. Bruce turned his back to them, and tilted his head to the side, almost as if he was hearing something. "Also, if you are so smart Halley, you'd know that last I checked, yes today is supposed to be Bonfire Night if I'm not mistaken, however there are a few uninvited guests who came to the party that I'm going to go see about helping to deal with. You said they can handle their own affairs, however you also know that sometimes there affairs as you put it can cause problems, do you not recall the stories that our uncle Thor and our grandfather told us of their time on Midgard? The uninvited guests in case you care our vampires, so I'm going to go deal with them since I know I can be helpful, you can tag along if you want, but I don't care anymore," he said simply, before he took off running towards the Castle Courtyard, where he had sensed the chaos coming from.

Sylvi the Bard

Location: The Palace Courtyard - P6
Skills: N/A

Sylvi looked at Antonije, a bit confused as to what it is that he was talking about. Everything would be over soon? Like what did he mean about that? The pain in her mouth was bothering her, but once again, she was fighting back the part of her mind that was telling her to bite him. It was becoming more then a bit of a problem for her, and she didn't know how much longer she'd be able to fight it off, before she did end up biting him and drinking his blood.

Her eyes widened with understanding when she realized what it was that Antonije was thinking about, what he was going to do. He was planning on killing her, and himself. "W-W-Wait Tate, I-I-I know what you are thinking and don't do it..." she said looking at him. She wasn't going to close her eyes or something, she wasn't going to listen to his words about everything being fine. Sylvi could most definitely tell things were not going to be fine at all! Especially since this would likely result in both of them being dead.

Sapphire

Location: The Mutant Underground - Washington D.C. Station
Skills Thermokinesis

Sapphire shot a glare over at Callie when she made her comment, "How about you shut your mouth there Spark Plug, and don't you DARE compare me and that little "princess" over there," she snapped at her, before turning to look at Leighton. "Oh, you actually were able to have a somewhat normal existence as a bit from the sounds of it as an entitled bitch? Well guess what, most people here did not have that sort of luxury, so how about you take yourself back to whatever little perfect life you have and leave us alone. Oh, wait, that's right, most people hate people like us, or are you dumb enough to not realize that at all? You seem like some rich bimbo who knows nothing about the way the world works."

With that last comment, she sort of nudge Leighton slightly with her hand, she was more then a little mad. Despite her power set, Sapphire could be considered a bit of a hot head, and it seems like everything rushing around and things had set her off. First Glimpse had essentially waltzed in like she owned the place, then Leighton showed up. Add on the fact that Moonwalker then pointed out that they had the same powers as each other and Spark Plug teasing her, and Leighton reminding her of how she had discovered her own powers and she was not in the best mind set. The air around Leighton suddenly would become cold, enough to chill her, however the air around everyone else went back to normal, as if the cold air just decided to swarm Leighton, and Leighton would feel more then a little chill from it. "You haven't given me one good reason to help you learn how to use your powers, so how about this, spend a few hours in the cold without a coat and then maybe we'll see, since if you want to be what was that dumb name you said, "Ice Queen" or something, then you better learn how to deal with the cold," she snapped at her, before she turned around and stormed off, leaving the cold air surrounding Leighton, and having ignored just about everything that Veil had said.

Jack Theriot

Location: Morlock Tunnels
Skills: N/A

Jack was willing to help out a little bit, just by pulling up a picture that was needed so that Max might be able to replicate what they were needing or something like that. Service was slower then a snail down in the tunnels, but hey! At least it was working somewhat! "Oops, sorry about that," Jack said, before he sort of swiped the text message out of the way, going to respond to it later and not deal with it right now. Most people he talked with he did warn that he had pretty bad cell reception where he was, so he was perfectly fine with just waiting a little while to respond.

Then came the interesting moment, one in which he had not expected. First Max had created the panda pillow, and gave it to Grimlock, which had been interesting to say the least. He was glad that Grimlock had gotten a pillow out of the whole thing at the very least then. No, what the interesting thing that happened was when Max created a pillow with Jack's face on it, then promptly burned it. "Well, I will say this, you are not the first person to burn something with my face on it, you probably won't be the last. But do you have some slight built up anger against me or something?" he said with a slight laugh, giving Max a bit of a smile. With that last sentence he was more or less making a joke about the entire situation.

Andrew Rossi

Location: Serval Industries Engineering Lab -> Briefing Room

Andrew had basically decided to ignore Watts as much as possible. The guy always was able to get under his skin no matter how hard he tried not to let him. He was almost positive that Watts could figure out what was wrong, he was a genius after all and didn't care too much about letting everyone else know it. As far as he knew, Watts loved rubbing it in everyone's faces about how he was the smartest person in the building or something, and he tended to run people over somewhat with his own ideas. Honestly to Andrew there didn't seem to be anything he could do to actually get respect from people in his chosen field of study, and he was learning that it was okay for the most part. Just on occasion it would get on his nerves.

He had grabbed a few tools from the lab before he had left it, and made his way to the briefing room where everyone else was, and he virtually ignored those who were already in the room as he took a seat in a chair. Andrew pulled his suit out, as well as a pair of glasses that he was able to use as magnifying glasses essentially and put them on, before he set to work trying to fix the suit real quick so that there hopefully weren't going to be anymore problems with it. It would be easier to work on it when the suit was full size, but this way it took up a lot less space.

Demetria Clarke

Location: Main common area -> Briefing Room

Sapphire rolled her eyes slightly, hearing the announcement about needing to go on a mission of sorts. She never did much to hide her distaste for the new CEO, or effectively, their new boss. Something always seemed off about the woman, and she had less of a reason to trust her since for some reason the woman didn't seem to care about finding her predecessors killer. Even though she could be considered a potential target for whoever had killed Snow. Nothing about the woman added up, not to mention she definitely wasn't as laid back about everything as Harrison had been, which annoyed her even more.

Rolling her eyes slightly at Allannah when she had mentioned killing people. Of course she'd want to kill someone, perhaps she needed a reminder that they were "superheroes" and not mercenaries. "I seriously doubt we're killing anyone considering that isn't a part of our job unless it can't be helped. So I'm guessing it's more of something really simple given the fact that we have several newer people on the team now," she said, her eyes darting around the room slightly. Gambit and Rogue were off to the side somewhat, leaning up against the wall, while Psylocke was sitting in a chair with her feet propped up on the table.

"Ms. Clarke definitely has the right idea, as does Mr. Martin," a woman's voice said, from the doorway, and in walked Rae Gardner the newly appointed CEO of Serval Industries.

"Figured," Sapphire mumbled with an eye roll at the woman.

"Your job is a rather simple one, and hopefully will have no surprises. This is mainly to see if all of you can work somewhat well together in a very simple setting. Serval Industries is holding a party of sorts in order to raise money for charity, and several powerful and rich individuals will be there, so it is your job to act as security and ensure that no fights erupt if necessary."

"...Is Hank Pym going to be there?" Andrew spoke up, glancing over at her.

"Yes."

"...And Tony Stark?"

"Of course, is that going to be a problem?"

"...No, just not too thrilled at the idea of being in a room with two people who hate my guts and probably partially wish I was dead..." he muttered, before going back to work.

"I see, well it might be in your best interest then to avoid them at all cost. Though there will be a lot of individuals attending, so I do not see the odds being favorable to you running into them. The party is set to begin in another 2 hours or so, I will see you then, though I suggest you all be ready beforehand. As some of our guests might arrive early," she said, before she walked right out of the room.

"Great, so we are supposed to act as security for a bunch of rich people in 2 hours... Why didn't she tell us this sort of thing this morning or something? Strange to me," Sapphire muttered, shaking her head at the idea.

"Well, I've always been considered a bit of a butterfingers, I will definitely concede that," she said with a slight laugh towards Titian when he had said that to her. It wasn't too difficult to just say that right out, after all, slippery fingers and not being the best at holding things was an easy excuse to think up about everything. Him saying that he was staying in the room though made her let out a sigh, "Do as you will, I would rather not stay in this room, as it is a bit boring just sitting around here, doing nothing, just talking to other people about nothing entirely in particular..."

She nodded her head in agreement with Walnut's words. It was interesting to hear that she had figured out the true name of Amaranthine, and it did make her wonder if she knew the names of anyone else. "So, it seems like he might be the one responsible for the Lord's death by chance... It would make some sense, even if he is an actual doctor, he would likely have some knowledge about different ways to kill someone," she said with a slight shrug.

Penance was a bit surprised by Titian's sudden outburst, not only essentially accusing Walnut of killing the woman whose chair had shot off into the air, but essentially implying that she herself was wanting to kill someone. "If you don't mind me saying... But if you might calm down and think about your words, you might realize that you are contradicting your own words. As I recall, before, you seemed perfectly fine with being around her," she said, nodding her head towards Walnut. "So if I might be so blunt, if you truly saw what you say you saw, then why is it that you are only sharing this information now? If you were so concerned, then why is it that you stayed around her for one reason or another? Also, what would I have to gain from trying to kill someone? I am not the strongest person in the world, thought that would be obvious, so why would I attack someone so bluntly? Especially considering there are easily a few people in this room who I feel like could over power me rather quickly."

She then turned her attention to Blush. "I say we should see about leaving this room, not staying here at all, but that is my personal opinion, given the fact that there likely will be an argument and bloodshed if we stay here much longer."
