@Wildman13 Hmm....crap, its tempting to making a fantasy kingdom with special heavy troops with bulletproof armor due to being made of magic metal (heavy troops not so mobile tho, so downsides). XD

That thought aside, so the vault people on earth are hoarding what tech is left that they have? Kinda gives a Fallout vibe, in a sense.

Anywho, sorry for kinda throwing a lot of questions at ya. ^^;

This overall Nation RP idea is pretty cool though! :D
@Wildman13 Ah, understood!

What will the tech level of the migrating earth humans be, btw? Er, not making any outright assumptions i mean on my part.

On a similar note, when we mean "nations" from Earth, do we mean "existing" ones or perhaps things that developed amidst the devastation of the planet?

On another note too, how many people are trying to make a modern or fantasy nation? Er, if anyone's said so far.

Arianna Dracul Eve

Arianna gracefully took a seat on the other side of the couch still facing Lilie, legs settled neatly to her side as she was listening to Lilie with a look of intrigue on her face that seemed eager and genuine. Internally she mulled to herself about how such a life must be like. Living in a simple family, getting to try out all those foods humans seemed to love to eat so much, etc. It could be said that such thoughts were amusing at best for a vampire, however....not that there never could be the feeling of green envy. All the same, as Lilie seemed to wrap things up a bit, Arianna let a smile come back to her face. Mmm, this was most intriguing indeed, more than any of these sorts of accommodations that she was rather used to.

Though Lilie's look betrayed the location of the case that contained a sword, and this brought a little excitement into Arianna's chest.

"Oh! So you know a bit of swordplay yourself? Perhaps we could do a bout of fencing sometime, if you'd like?" Arianna said, her eyes lighting up with a genuine flare of excitement as she pondered how they could pull it off potentially...er, if her dear mage here wanted to at least. Though beyond this the vampiress seemed to continue for a second.

"Ah, but on the topic of magic, mother did have quite the collection of tomes about magic in the past, haha! Perhaps i could get them to send a few over for your reading? Ah, sometimes mother would even sit me down on her lap...to....read them....aloud..."

Arianna seemed to very visibly drift off, her features blanking out a bit as if something was hitting her in the gut and knocking the wind out of her. She then lightly shook her head, trying to seemingly shrug the feeling off, putting on her airs again seemingly without skipping a beat. However, something was there, something that had looked...human, all things considered. Utterly human, which was perhaps alien for beings like the vampires, especially those of a Noble lineage like Arianna herself.

"Ah, but back on topic. Truly, you need not be ashamed of your origins, my dear. Nor should you be ashamed of what has brought you enjoyment, including that fencing. In fact, i find it sweet that a cute girl like you come from such a humble place as well.

Ah...but i shall only trouble you one more question for the night. Then after answering this you may ask about myself a few questions as you please, before getting to unpacking and such things.

It is the least we can do, no?"

Arianna stood up, standing as elegant as a mighty stag in the wilderness, drifting over gently to stand near the window next to the couch. She pulled open the thick curtains, meant to keep out dangerous sunlight during the day, as she let the moonlight gently caress her body similar to a human taking in the warm rays of the sun on a lovely morning. It was almost an emulation of the human act, save for the fact that Arianna herself was doing this for her love of the moonlight.

So gentle, yet so radiant. Much like herself, really, but that was plain to see and needed not to be mentioned aloud to her perspective.

"Are you....close to your family? If you do not mind my asking, of course."

@Hero
Annabelle Irons

Thank the cosmos for the Beacon Buddies.

Though such a thought crossed her mind in some fashion as the assistants of Regina and Elroy began to cart her off and provide assistance with her escape, Annabelle felt a pang of joy leap into her heart. Her...her friends. Ah, the word felt so odd to think, but it nearly brought a smile to her face as briefly. However as she was being flown away she looked behind to what was going on. Others were arriving, prominently including some sort of group of people who began attacking the grunts. For a second, Annabelle was glad for it, though it also worried her as well. Many of the grunts who had managed to grab anything, whether it was people or attempting to gang up on a single mummy enough at a time to try to secure it for transport, were fleeing towards the dugout with the last remaining open portal in it. Albeit, a destabilized portal, flickering like static from a TV screen of yore with sparks of magic flying from parts it now as a low, creaking, groaning sound seemed to emanate from it. Such a thing could be dangerous, stable or not....especially in the latter case were it not shut down promptly enough, or correctly at that. But if left alone...well, there was perhaps not telling that could happen.

The magic of horrors could be such a tricky thing to tamper with in reality.

However, she noticed a couple of things out of the corners of her eyes, and this snapped her a bit out of the serious disillusionment she had been feeling prior. Enough to act more directly, anywho. As she saw something moving towards the knightly magical girl who had stayed behind to help protect her, Annabelle pushed her magic even more, a vertical, wall-like barrier of void arising between the charging figure to try protect Shona...even Amaryllis since the two were near each other, despite what was happening. But wait, what was that booming noise? She looked to her side to see something being fired towards the top part of the stadium...about where she'd been short from by that....oh. Wait, who were they attacking? Rina?! Elroy or Regina?!?! She gritted her teeth, focusing as best as she could to try to create a small disc of void ahead of the projectile if she could.

Hoping the two Bates siblings would be ok, not wanting to guilt of letting them die because of her, Annabelle grit her teeth at the thought. though, yet more than this the situation was finally beginning to settle in for her. Not completely, but she felt a bit more cognizant of things around her than she had been not long ago. As the emotions became more focused into a frustration, they slightly began to overpower a bit of the blur of emotions, thoughts, and fears twisting about inside of her head and gut like a knife. Just enough for her to feel a pang of hurt at being....sent in here as fodder, perhaps? Being lied to at that by her patron, and then he had toyed with her magic and weapon and overpowered her life she was a mere insect? She'd seen her boss use other minions for that before, but he'd never done something like this to her before. Ever.

An inky black orb formed in front of Annabelle, moving along with the trio as they flied toward the exit. It seemed to expand into a mirror-like shape, a flat mirror like object in front of her. Like a portal, but too small to use. At the same time, out of the dugout portal emerged some more lesser horror goons to try to cover the flight of those that had any "supplies" with them. However, something seemed....rather wrong this time, as a few seemed to collapse after getting through missing body parts or half their bodies as they bled into the dugout. Though these were ignored by those that came into and out of the portal intact enough.

'Ah, my herald. Its is good that you live, and the supply that has been brought in by now is sufficient for certain parts at least. Unfortunate what has happened otherwise, however.' the voice of Soth said as it came out of the portal, able to be heard as clearly and smoothly as a "soothing" tone in a horror's voice could perhaps be like.

"Why...did you...stop me? Why did you lie to me? You...THEY TRIED TO KILL ME!!!" Annabelle said back at the small portal that was moving along with her and the two other Beacon Buddies, at first her voice timid, tired, almost hoarse as it sounded like she had not long ago. Yet it built up, the frustration finding a focus, and erupted into a clarion shout emerging from Annabelle's mouth that cracked along with her voice and a couple tears that ran down her cheeks from her eyes now.

'Do not rage, young one, for i bear no ill will at you. You were not told the full truth of this mission, for i had other matters i had to attend to at the time. Certain...preparations alongside information gathering, as it were. Though i see this was a mistake in hindsight to allow you to go off without an understanding.

Ah, what it must be like to be such a young existence, a being coated in flesh and blood. I have always wondered what it would be like, in a sense, though such a frail vessel of the soul can also be so....foolish and hasty in its fleeting moments of clinging to life. Regardless, we are about ready to move onward with things to the next step. I have located a particularly precious resource for acquisition, and after this event it shall require more....subtle measure to acquire.

So for the time being, stay with these....'Bates' individuals with which you have affiliated yourself. You seem to be happier alongside them, and the rest of this day you shall have to indulge your own ideas and ends. I shall then call for you when you are next needed, my herald.

Until then, you need to get some rest.

And so i address you, assistant of the 'Bates' as they are named. For keeping my herald safe, and in return for taking her in for a day or so perhaps, tell your masters they shall be rewarded for it with added pay."

"Pay attention! You were busy, so that's why you never said anything to me?! I....why? What are you planning, boss? I...i wanted to help the people here....not kill them... Then those two...now they...i just wanted to do something good..."

The magical girl's voice seemed weaker again, the feeling of hoarseness cutting and tearing at the inside of her throat. She was beginning to lose the words she wanted to say, mind still swimming with thoughts and emotions and sensations making the very act of forming words and thinking of them even more draining. She felt the struggle to keep her eyes open set in, even. Her body felt...it didn't feel right at the moment regardless. Her boss had directly controlled her magic, and she'd....she'd lost an arm. Though she couldn't really feel the latter at the moment, the former had left her skin crawling. Like her personal space had been violated.

'Ah, interesting...that such a mind still retains a sense of that 'morality of humans'. Most interesting indeed. Perhaps...could it possess such things as well, potentially? If so that could be...mhmm, that would be most fascinating to experience indeed. Ah, but perhaps i get ahead of myself in the overall scheme of things.

But in other matters:

You had hopes to eventually befriend those two who wounded and harmed you, it would seem? Yet such innocence as yours this day was met with cold steel and the drawing of blood, and this is the reality of this life of yours. Even now it seems....ah, you still hope for them to live, don't you? Even though they will most likely seek to slay you where you stand after this event? Shall this naivete result in your slaying proper next time around then?'

Annabelle clamped her mouth shut before she could drawl out any of the words floating about in her mind about what he had just said. Soth....dangit, her boss wasn't wrong...was he? She wanted him to be wrong, that Amaryllis might show up again and she could talk to her over a cup of tea. That perhaps they could be friends, find a way to get along.

Yet perhaps...perhaps she was being naive, and greedy for wanting...for wanting so many friends, eh? The void-touched girl bit onto her lower lip a bit. Was it so wrong to feel the desire to connect to others? Was...was having the desires and feelings she had a bad thing to have at all?

This time she had no retort, just silence as she realized there were some things she had to think about for herself. Yet as much as she wanted to just walk away from her patron in some part within her....she knew for sure, for a great surety, this would not go well. For as calm as Soth seemed to be....she'd seen that anger. Briefly, only ever once or twice at most....it had haunted her for two years straight in her sleep after that.

Lightly shaking her head to try to help keep conscious, Annabelle looked up in the direction of where the attack fired towards the upper area of the stands had been aimed. Right now, she needed to be awake. She couldn't...she couldn't back down now that Regina and Elroy were here. She wanted to keep them safe, alive....ah. She did have something she could do. She could feel the darkness, that magic, where concentrations of it were about her....at least if only because she was tied to the element and it was "her shtick" so to say.

As her boss' voice ceased to emanate from the orb floating still in front of her, Annabelle seized control again over the orb and did her best to focus on a particular area where she felt a strong concentration of darkness magic. Near Regina, a tiny portal, the size of a modest hand mirror, would open up similar in shape to the way the orb had opened up for Annabelle when Soth had spoken to her moments ago. As Annabelle's orb changed again to that shape it had been in, she felt a small pang of relief wash over her.

If her boss could open up two small portals for comms....so could she then! Besides, she didn't care if her boss liked that or not, she was going to keep her friends safe and that was final!

"R-Regina, you...there?" the void-touched magical girl said, her voice coming clearly out of the other portal in the process as she spoke into the one floating in front of her on her end, trying to be positive in her voice despite the obvious tired pauses and rare occasional stutter as her body has shivers run down its spine, "Stay safe...and...t-thank you. He....we...c-can go on the town tonight...eh? Just the two of us, ok? I k-know a place.....ahh...i-i feel colder than i was b-before...."

She was getting...dizzier and dizzier too. In reality, this entire time her remaining bit of the top part and shoulder of her right arm was raggedly cut and bleeding out from where it had been severed from the rest. It wasn't impossible that this would have an effect on her even as a magical girl, with Divina potentially getting this blood on herself in the process of things due to holding up that part of her as they floated on. Albeit, she could feel what was almost like tiny threads of magic around the wounded area....maybe her boss attempting to stitch her up? Or was it just a phantom feeling, a vain hope that things would be better and that he wasn't using her just like another tool.

Hah.

But she wouldn't die from blood loss. Not here, not now.

Nina Kujo and Alice Honorsby

Ah, that Speedwagon girl had picked up, at least. Albeit, things didn't seem too well at the cathedral, when the call kept going but Speedwagon didn't seem to be talking to her anymore. Getting the clue rather quickly on the uptake, though as Speedwagon seemed to be surprised by some even unknown to her Nina sighed. Quickly putting the phone to her side, she didn't even have to look at Alice to realize the other magical girl knew what was going on. Scope on that rifle was able to tell her enough normally anywho. Nina then held her left arm up, and snapped her fingers using her left hand.

"『Violet Hermit』Summoned"

"『Violet Hermit』Ability Activated: Distant Impressions"

Violet-colored vines with leaves grew up around her left arm, seeming to shimmer into existence in the blink of an eye. They grew in length until they reached down in front of the magical girl, forming a mirror-shaped oval as tall as an adult man. Then within this space the air seemed to shimmer, as the image of Speedwagon and the scene around her came up as if it being displayed on a computer screen. Looking to Alice, Nina nodded and her partner nodded in return before leaping into the image in front of them. Nina then pulled down her arm, the vines remaining attached to her as she walked into the image in front of her as well. Though as she did this, the vines forming that had become the "portal" in front of them seemed to be drawn in as well, sucked in until naught was left behind but empty air.

This was the spirit 『Violet Hermit』, which could create a portal to the general location of anyone the wielder knew the appearance of. Which for a magical girl, meant they had to be in the form she recognized for this to actually work. Not that the portal would drop them right by the person...it wasn't a perfect teleportation after all.

Speedwagon would see a figure zoom over from a nearby rooftop, landing next to her with a rifle in hand. Red Rifle has a small grin on her face as she hoisted the weapon up, aimed in the direction of the witches in the air, before looking over to her side at the fellow magical girl. The grin remained in place, but Alice gave a teasing wink regardless.

"Nina sent me ahead to meet up with ya, since we kinda landed in an odd place location coming here. She decided ta' give the portal one more chance to get to a better spot.

At any rate, you ok, Speedwagon?"

Her tone was sincere despite the grin and teasing wink, a thing that at times seemed to catch people off guard. Nina, however, had become accustomed to it.

Meanwhile....atop the tallest spire of the cathedral, a figure seemed to appear on top, standing without so much as a sway as they looked down upon the witches in the air around them. Blue clothes, ponytail....the trademark magical girl appearance of Nina herself in all honesty. However, as the violet-colored vines shimmered away and faded from where they had been on her left arm, another figure seemed to shimmer into existence. The same spirit as she had been using the other day, albeit without getting to use its ability.

"『Star Platinum』Summoned"

"Yare yare, daze. You old hags really like to mess up peoples' day, huh? Messing with innocent people.....it makes me sick!"

Nina struck a pose, one hand in her coat pocket and the left other pointing out at the witches as she called out to them in a loud, annoyed voice. The striking image of the character her patron had designed her magical girl form to be like. Were that goddess here, she might have been giggling like a happy geek to herself about things despite the situation.

"Now you'll pay!"

"『Star Platinum』Ability Activated: Worlds of Pain"

Star Platinum, floating behind and above Nina's back it always did when summoned, held up its hand with one finger pointed at the sky. A sphere began to form just above it. Smaller spheres made of metal began to form within it as well quickly, and just when it might have finally drawn some attention the power finally kicked in proper.

The larger sphere evaporated, leaving the many small metal balls floating in the air. Then snapping the fingers on her left hand again as the metal gauntlets on her arm glistened in the sunlight, the snap merely done for dramatic effect as she had done prior, the small metal balls began to move quickly. Flying out into the air, they began to rain down like a shower of small, speedy meteors to try to smash into the witches. It was the strongest attack of this spirit of hers, which utilized the Metal element. But instead of one large attack it made up for it....

....by assaulting the enemy with an array of homing metal balls as its special ability!!!

@Wildman13 Looking about the site, noticed this out of curiosity.

Whether joining or not, just wanted to ask you if magitech would become a thing, could become a thing, and/or is considered "gamebreaking" or such things. In other words, your thoughts on the matter perhaps? XD
Arianna Dracul Eve

Arianna felt a thrum of glee run down her spine as Lilie answered her question with a most relevant inquiry, but kept a modest pace to make sure Lilie was comfortable keeping up with her.

She nearly let her self-control slip for the sake of a happy grin, albeit she felt that might come off as predatory....thus she didn't will to make the grin. Rather, she wished to merely let her gentle and small smile remain instead upon her lovely features, as soothing and soft as fresh silk and the tone of her voice. She had been waiting for this moment for too long! Too long indeed to be able to converse with her mage partner for life! Er...for the mage's life? Well, perhaps that depended on if the mage was eventually turned, though the odds of that were low in and of....wait. She didn't need to be thinking about all of this just yet, now did she? Oh dear, there her mind was going again, off and away as it delved into fantasies of what could or yet potentially occur.

Lightly shaking her head to clear it, gracefully as if she had practiced it all her life, Arianna looked back at Lilie to speak. Albeit, she could see their dorm approaching.

"Ah...i apologize, it seems i drifted off in thought for a moment. Haha. But as mundane as it could seem to some out there, i'd like to know more about your life. Who you are, as it were, my dear."

As they approached the dorm, Arianna would open up the door for Lilie, and close it whenever they both were inside. The bolt would be locked shut, in a calm and non-hostile manner akin to wanting to keep out intruders, as if someone was just getting home from an event and going about the automatic task of locking the door behind them. Then Arianna opened up her envelope and took out its contents, taking a quick but apt scan over her schedule and such things. Her face seemed to take on a furtive, but serene, sort of expression as she read it over and soaked in the details. After a moment, she gently folded back up the paper, holding it with the envelope in her right hand.

She then smiled once more, looking to Lilie, not seeming to skip a beat in the process.

"As it were, you need not fear speaking to me about yourself or any such thing. As companions here, i desire to get to know you well, and i hope you shall feel free enough to ask about myself as well.

It is such a shame, to put it mildly, on how some of my kind treat their partners. Especially a certain bunch....ah, but others despite that are more tender, show greater care to treat you all as the sentient beings you are alongside ours. I desire to be among the latter group, though i've been told my personality is a tad...overwhelming."

Arianna let off a small peal of laughter after, which rung in the building as pure as the cascading, silver steams of moonlight outside were apt to be. Though as she quieted down, a sort of....human look seemed to come about her, less of the airs she usually had and more of the look of a real person, imperfect with emotions and all. Truly not something she...was fully comfortable with, but yet she felt it would be a show of good faith to her new partner here. She wanted to make her comfortable, albeit she would be making herself very comfortable here as well when it came down to it.

Perhaps Lilie might be hungry after such a public event though? Hmm....she'd be patient, waiting for the other girl to speak politely.

But if her darling mage was hungry, she could provide for her! After all, she herself had practiced with her own mother with this human cooking business, not a bad thing really. It was fun, and though not her sort of nourishment she could appreciate the smells and sensations even if her own hunger never arose with them. She'd...kept up practice since then as well, calling it a hobby despite her father rolling his decrepit eyes at the sight.

@Hero

Diana Firebrand

At Kris' behest, Diana had rushed in to pull back on her armor, former clothes, and grab her weapon. She was not unfamiliar with the concept of a "quick change", considering she had been working with these mercs for a time. Though as for her weapon, she felt it wasn't enough time to properly reload the things fully. Not that it hadn't been mostly full as they'd come into this place in the first place.Wait....she didn't even need ammo! Sheesh. Slinging on her gear as the armor rattled on her body, Diana had enough time to listen to the Warden and heft up her weapon for firing as the door finally, and ultimately, buckled to the swarm.

Then again, she was at the front. Again. As always. Albeit, with Kris, whom she liked fighting alongside. Then again, it was only a small office, and....er....ok, this was going to require some heavy duty stuff to try to make the doorway a fitting choke point. She fired a few of rapid bolts into the legs of a couple of the enemies as they squirmed at the doorway. Despite what had managed to get in, as the two creatures fell Diana felt they would make a good chokepoint for the moment.

However, she would follow this up with an "oldie but a goodie" that she could properly aim...er, this time without potentially killing an ally. Yes, that was important.

"Yol Toor Shul!" the dragon-descended girl said in the magical language of her forefathers.

Issuing from her mouth, properly aimed to go down the hallway and not bounce back into the room itself, a stream of melting, consuming fire issued forth. Much like a real dragon breathing fire, actually. Neat.
Mina Kreiger (Alloy)

Alloy raised an eyebrow as she took another long drag on her alcohol-free drink, looking at Raymond even as she pulled the straw of her drink away from her lips again.

"Well, i can see where ya' worries would be there. But i've done at least a fair share of the vigilate stuff and stealin' stuff n' such. So this mission we got, i think i can lend a bit of a hand ta' it if nothin' else, eh? But hell, gettin' to relaxed is a bad idea for anyone, even in what i was doin' before this," Mina said, her tone casual yet taking a tad more seriousness to alert Raymond to her honesty in the matter, before giving a small shrug after the last sentence she said.

She then looked to Sofia, giving another casual wave.

"Nice milk choice. Know a guy who has cousins ship in the fresh stuff, and hell he made the city's best hot cocoa!" she said to Sofia, giving a small grin more looking on to address the others that were approaching her or otherwise right now. However, her mind seemed to lock in Sofia a bit better than the others, perhaps by nature of Sofia being 'a cutie' in her mind.

As Jason offered his hand to shake, Alloy took out her free hand after finishing another sip of her drink, giving a grin again as she shook the guy's hand and shook it with some strength put into it. She was liking the energy of this guy, and the fact he was willin' to offer her a solid handshake in all of this. Not that she looked down on the others about it, but hell to her it was a generally respectful sign at least. Not an unwelcome thing, though he did ask a question of her.

"Well, sinc ya' asked so nicely, i'm obliged ta' answer. Haha.

This metal skin of mine? It protects me from damage by dispersin' it on impact, heals ma' insides, generally useful stuff in a fight. But this is tired to my other ability, generatin', discharging, and manipulating electricity. The more of this metal skin i got, the stronger this other ability is. And vice versa.

Plus when i do crap with electricity, it eats up this metal skin and makes me look normal again, so i gotta wait for this stuff to grow back to use my ability well. Kinda like a neat trade-off, except that means the more of this metal skin i got the heavier and heavier i get. Haha, and some girls hate putting on the pounds, but in this case its pretty cool, really."

Her local lingo and slang seemed to pull back a bit as she went into explanation, excited to describe her abilities to her new team. At the same time, though, she didn't seem immature about it or like some overly-excited kid who was gonna get themselves killed or such. At the very least there was that much going for her perhaps.

Aerith Hastings

Peppin House #1, Cham, Priestella

@Ryofu@FamishedPants@BrokenPromise

Aerith had to admit, her new clothes for "this" world were comfortable and....kinda cozy really. And they were kinda cute to boot, in a "fantasy world esque" sort of manner! Plus it had been nice to get an apron with which to keep her clothes somewhat protected against the dust and grime they would be cleaning to boot. A bit of experience, potentially some cash, to her that was the good idea to pass the time and start things of here proper. Then she'd meet Irene and Vasilis to go get identification and such things. Safely. Without a large group. That was what had scared her the most about it, albeit she hoped sincerely that Chieko would be ok. Well....not that she didn't want the other "hey we are from Earth too" people to die, but she'd become attached to her original group a bit at least by this point.

No to mention the overriding question of why Lord talus had pulled them here, despite the reason he gave. In truth, it would seem the reason for this was a certain someone who "loved" her. She wanted to meet this person, though she got the feeling this would be a struggle.

Regardless, as Fritzi put her foreheads to hers to learn her magic element Aerith felt a small rise in heat into her face. This close...well, Fritzi was kinda cute. Her skin was petty soft as well, kinda like....wait, bad Aerith! The girl chastised herself mentally at what she dubbed "pulling a Hiro", though her attention was quickly pulled away as the animal-like girl told them how to cast magic. This had been another topic entering into her mind, and as she was told her magic word the memory of earlier entered into her mind. Shamak? That was the word that Irene had used to immobilize that entire crowd of bandits! She'd even memorized what Irene had done to attempt later in secret, but....well, this was her chance to do something with it at least!

Aerith closed her eyes, seeking to do as Fritzi has instructed. In her mind, the picture took the form of water pouring from a hot kettle into a tea cup, gentle yet filling, serene...yet focused and deliberate. Her breathing seemed to adjust to this unconsciously, and then she opened her eyes and extended a hand whilst breathing out gently and calmly. Her face seemed to echo the feelings she'd channeled, or rather the image she'd mentally channeled for this with her being the teacup and the magic being the kettle, before she spoke in a manner as she'd seen Irene do earlier.

"Shamak."

And issuing from her palm was, to her surprise, a cloud of black dust, filling up the space in front of her and fogging up the air like a fog would do back home. Wait, it was filling up the room?! Nonono! This was going to make it all dirtier, wasn't it?

Annabelle Irons

Though the one inky black orb that was Annabelle's weapon attempted to move in the way of Amaryllis' sword, before it could form a portal or such, it was run through and dispelled before it could do any of those things. Not that Annabelle had any say in what it had tried to do in the first place, it being moved by the power of her patron yet again. Even the mooks in the rose-knightess' way would fall before the blade as they had charged at her, seeking to protect Annabelle despite the girl's own protests against what was going on. In fact, by this point the void-touched magical girl was stretching her right arm out at the chains, trying to do anything, something to try to make the others not see her as the villain. To make them try to stop aiming to....t-to kill her.

But alas, the blade of Amaryllis would manage to find its mark, the lack of focus on her target's part a good deal of the reason for it.

CRACK.

Cold, hungering steel sank swiftly into flesh, from flesh then into bone, yet then through bone and into the air beyond. Annabelle didn't have the durability to handle the blow from the melee-fighter, not as much as she'd been able to handle the arrow from before at any rate. Though she could "shrug off swords and knives" supposedly, this was no mere sword or knife, but an attack launched with a mighty strength. The humerus bone was shattered by the sword, as the resulting impact and sword damage did the rest of the work. The end result? Annabelle's right arm, most of it anywho, fell from the railing, into the seats below with a visceral THUNK as it hit the hard plastic of the baseball stadium seats.

Looking to her right slowly, the sheer mental shock rocking her system even more along with a wave of intense pleasurable feelings physically that further confounded all of this, Annabelle looked at where most of her right arm had formerly been. It was horrifying in appearance, the bloodied steel of Amaryllis' blade that had done the work also visible to her there. Annabelle felt a numbness set into where her right arm had been, creeping up to the shoulder like a virus moving through the body. Her face was written with sheer despair and disbelief, mostly the former despite the latter being very clear in her expression.

NO. NONONO. NONONONONONONO!!!

Desperately, the void-touched girl looked out at the field, at the mummies, at the goons rushing out of a new portal she could sense down below. It was here her mind finally hit a certain clarity, a certain moment of raw emotion and intent that seemed to flow through her clearly, even if only for a brief moment. She extended, very shakily, her other arm at where the mummies were....and then let loose.

"ALL OF YOU.....YOU IDIOTS, AND BOSS YOU BIG MORON, JUST DAMN STOP IT ALREADY!!!

Annabelle felt her throat going raw from the scream, a scream carrying with it the raw emotions as it was channeled into her magical power and exuded into the world. Though with what her "boss" had already done with her magic and such, what could a mere magical girl-

-....do?

The air seemed to become thick with tension, as magical power thrummed into it from Annabelle. The chains trying to remove the lances sticking the remaining mummies to the wall...stopped, even dissipated, with the binding chains slacking and collapsing to the ground as they too dissipated into nothingness. The goons and any remaining captured or struggling civilians with them seemed to pause for a brief moment. Several of the goons seemed to dissipate as well, mostly any holding or near civilians, as if...as i they had been erased. In fact, a decent portion of the new goons that has surged through the new portal seemed to dissipate like dust into the wind, gone without a single trace left behind, as the new portal quaked and shook as it destabilized. Even the severed right arm below dissipated away.

Sure there was a notable amount of goons left, trying to grab up a few humans and run for the port, and indeed multiple magical girls would most likely be necessary to clear them and what remained of the mummies out completely. However, that exertion of magical power, that power of the void to "erase all things".....this was but a sign of its ability. Of its danger. And in this case, of one desperate magical girl's plea for others to stop, the fear of actually dying and her own disorientation an panic in regards to things finally manifesting in a full-blown use of magical power whose magnitude had been easy to see.

After doing this, Annabelle felt her legs go out from under her, falling to her knees. Her left hand, once outstretched, weakly grasped the railing as if to keep her stable. Physically, she was in a rougher spot now, but by far not the worst possible or on the verge of death due to current injuries. She could fight if she wanted to, seek to kill the others. The void could eat that sword that had (intentionally or not) severed one of her arms like it was paper, or at least do that in regards to things like the projectile that had hit her side and such. Even the exertion of her power a moment ago was not something that would ever usually shake her.

However, right now, it was the mental shock, the mix of emotions and sensation from her body, the lie she'd been told and all such things that left her feeling rather.....'weak' right now.

Annabelle's head weakly looked over at Amaryllis, almost as if they were about to shed tears merely to beg for life. For the other girl to stop. Wondering why, just why this had happened in the first place even.
