@ZAVAZggg@Dark Cloud Jesse recalled every Nordic rune he remembered from the books he had read. There were few still intact where he was from, but he read parts about medieval Europe and the Norse in particular voraciously.
He was mildly annoyed by Rick’s impatience when they had so few leads, but he had met much more difficult characters in Culrud. When he saw a woman turn into a ring, he paused in astonishment, but remembered Zyx didn’t like answering questions. He turned to Rick.
“Are they gods?”
"If by that you mean omnipotent beings then s-*belches*-sure, but if you mean gods as in the ones you pray to for shit then no. But y-you can say they're gods, yeah." Rick shrugged turning back to Zyx "Kinky y-your uh girlfriend is a ring? H-*belches*-ot, you get to finger her in public!" he nudged Jesse with his elbow "Fingers get it? uhahahaha!" Rick laughed.
