Obviously, everyone is still new to their powers. I'm only making an issue out of stuff in the first place because we don't know how far this story will go. It's possible that they might never reach their OP states or that they will before the canonical "ending" of the story.
I just want everyone to be on the same page for everything, and it's still not totally clear to me just how much of the original guidelines we're going to be following and which ones we're throwing out or bending.

The problem with a tranq would just be getting it through the thick ass scales. You'd either need to do that somehow, which I feel like would fuck the tranq dart up a good bit, or find a nice fleshy spot, but then you'd need to deal with getting in a good range to do so, risking life and limb dealing with a monster.

The reason I was considering Henry as close to the originally banned powers is because his strength could bring down a building really easily. He could basically shoulder-check a support piece and bring down the eiffel tower if he wanted to, with 3000 pounds of running force and a further 4000 of muscle force. And he could probably survive doing it, too. Honestly, that in and of itself is fine, but I do think it should be built up to, and the fact that his drawbacks are most likely going to make him MORE dangerous rather than less, as well as the lack of "weaknesses" (I consider the things listed as drawbacks, not weaknesses. To me, a weakness is a way to overcome the power, not a side effect.) makes me think he could use a bit more rebalancing. Sorry if that came across as rude, I didn't intend it to.

Yeah, I'd have to say that at least the methodology of that character (DL) needs to be changed. Especially if we're keeping to the original premise that these are all pure genetic mutations, in which case "eldritch power well" doesn't really fit in. If that sort of stuff is getting accepted then I might as well try to push my powerset that was rejected in the original incarnation of this rp.
However, if you don't mind waiting a day or two, I can probably reroute your character's idea into a less overtly OP and more potentially OP down the line form. Up to you and SectretlyDiscord, though.

@Witch Cat does, to be fair, have weaknesses that pretty well limit it, but my question is whether we're keeping the barred powers from the first incarnation, because there was a list and reality warping definitely falls under at least two of the banned sets. But again, really that's up to @SecretlyDiscord.

Bruh you literally have a reality warper than can pull things from different dimensions by tearing holes in space time which crosses both the gravity and time power rule.

I understand that Henry might be OP, and I will certainly work with you on that. But give me a nonvariable baseline to work with here.

I can certainly work a transformation into his character sheet. But for everyone in the future I think my issue still holds water so everyone can be judged more easily.

I agree that he's OP, but I wasn't aware of a spacetime warper since I haven't been reading the CSs. Which char is that? I can try to figure out a way to help balance out Henry.

Powers
Andi can change into animal forms and the forms of other people. He prefers to shift into a wolf when changing into an animal. When he takes on the appearance of someone else, he usually uses it to get to places where his own form wouldn't be able to go. He can also mimic the sounds of animals and the voices of other people; His vocal chords change in order to do so. He also has claws that come through his knuckles, which are hollow, and the claws themselves are snow white. His senses and physical abilities such as speed and flexibility are heightened, to a point where he can see in the dark.

Andi is rebellious, more connected to his animal side and quick to smile at jokes. He is very protective of his favorite people, and dislikes unnecessary conflict.

Telekinesis; he can control most objects except for anything that is heavier than 2000 lbs. Telepathic to a very high extent, but cannot control other people, can control shadows; cloak himself and bend them around himself, always knows when he's being lied to, and can slip into someone else's mind to see, hear, taste and feel what they are feeling.
Personality

He's pretty calm and aloof, and he's very fierce. He was raised to be a gentleman to all women, whether he liked them or not, and so he usually coolly polite. But if he sees someone treating another person unfairly, he will put them in their place. He's quite savage about it.

Just to let you know, a great deal of characters have mental protections against manipulations, mind reading, etc., so you may want to change it unless you just plan on using it on randoms without that protection. Anyway, they seem fine; just make sure that what you post is realistic—we're almost like a reality simulator. All things are scientifically possible and all that jazz. We're rather lenient on most everything, because MR is a collective effort with no overseer, just a group of friends trying to recall the history of Existence as it occurs. Just make sure to follow the posting style and post rather rapidly and you should be good to go.

For the record, when he says "scientifically possible," that includes BS science and psuedoscience. As long as it can be explained in a way that is satisfying, it's fine, but it's best to stay within the realms of actual science and fake science used in a given media series. (For example, if you wanted to use DC science to explain something, that's fine, just keep in mind that the rules and effects of each universe is different, though most content takes place in specific universes that share the same/very similar physics.)

I'm waiting to be the last to make sure I don't accidentally take a power someone else wants. Plus, even though I've got the character done and plenty of power options to choose from, I'm rarely in a mindset where I can actually write out the details of any of the potential powers, so... I'm sort of stuck until I am.

Mm. It would have to be the neck not only so it's definitely fatal when it explodes, but also so they can't just cut their arm off and escape. The reason I prefer collars over chips is that chips can be influenced by certain types of body control powers. Then again, so could collars. In reality, I'm sure it would be based on the power and what the scientists think that power can eventually do. Someone who can control their own biological chemicals or bioelectricity could easily short out a chip, whereas a collar would be more difficult. Collars are also larger to allow for more tech and functions as well as to help protect against outside influence. If you have a chip, all it takes is an emp to disable it or trigger it, but a collar can be designed to have fail-safes in it due to its increased size. A 2 or 3 inch thick collar made of specific materials designed in a specific way, possibly even specific to the mal based on their power(s), would pretty well protect against outside interference and mal tampering. Sure it costs more, but they're trying to get insanely loyal living superweapons out of it. That would be worth a lot of investment.

Alright. Since Acer is dealing with some stuff in real life, I'm going to assert my co-gm status and say we need to get this thing moving because of we don't, it's going to die a slow and inglorious death. And I can assure you of one thing, if Nathan James Hunter is going to die, it is going to be FUCKING GLORIOUS!!!

But seriously, we've been waiting around for too long and need to get our group doing something so we're heading into the mine to do some 'splorin. Both physical exploration and character exploration...Maybe a little sexual exploration too if Vin's up for it.

So anyone we're waiting for a post from should either get it done within the next...I dunno...day or two?...or just adjust whatever your working on. Although meme and dark shouldn't have to adjust too much as there are still Duplinates out in the woods for you to run into.

Sorry for rushing you guys but we can't wait around forever.
