Name: Terra Grayson

Nicknames/Titles: Invincible (III, of Space, of the New Viltrum Empire), Heiress to the Viltrum Empire

Age: A young adult by Viltrumite standards, Terra is hundreds of Earth years old.

Affiliation: Hero

Personality: Terra is a brilliant point of light in a huge and frightening universe. She is endlessly determined to do the right thing, regardless of who stands in her way. Having always been very pacifistic (especially for a Viltrumite), Terra prefers to use her strength to protect those more vulnerable to her, rather than to battle against terrible cosmic foes, though she's more than capable of doing so if pressed. While she has her father's incorruptible nature and unfailing determination, it's tempered by her mother's pragmatism, intelligence, and compassion. However, she cares more for the welfare of the universe as a whole than that of the Viltrum Empire on its own, which sometimes puts her at odds with her father, its Emperor.

Biography: Terra Grayson was born on Earth's moon, in the last Viltrumite warship, to Markus Sebastian Grayson and Samantha Eve Wilkins. She spent her first few weeks on Earth, until her parents fled the planet as political refugees, and named her Terra to be their "little piece of the Earth." She then grew up on Talescria, the metropolitan capital world of the Coalition of Planets. Her father was absent due to alien influence for the first few years of her life, and upon his return their lives were threatened by Thragg, the Empire's traitorous former regent. Hiding on the rural planet Khulthak, they were pursued by Thragg and his children, who attacked Terra and her family, killing her uncle Oliver. She survived only by the sudden emergence of her powers.

Later, after her father defeated Thragg and assumed control of the Empire after her grandfather's death, she joined him as they traveled through the universe rebuilding the Viltrum Empire in his image of peace and universal uplifting. She eventually found her calling in the Empire's Conservation Corps, maintaining the life-supporting technology the Empire shared with other worlds. This kept her out of the Empire's eventual conflict with the Coalition, which caused a years-long rift between herself and her father. Eventually they made up, and Terra took up the role of Invincible in space, representing her grandfather's New Viltrum Empire.

Powers/Skills: As an inheritor of Viltrumite DNA, Terra's body is extremely powerful and almost immutable. Her strength is measured in thousands of tons, and she is almost indestructible, with extreme force or energy needed to have any effect on her. Terra is immune to nearly any poison, disease, or radiation, can survive in the vacuum of space, and hold her breath for weeks. She ages at an extremely slow rate, only becoming stronger as she ages, and can recover from nearly any injury with minimal care, as long as her brain and heart are intact. Terra can move freely in three-dimensional space through the use of a highly evolved equilibrium, and can fly at speeds up to thousands of meters per second. Her life has already lasted for human centuries, and she has spent nearly all of it traveling through space and meeting alien species and cultures. She has great knowledge and empathy for others, no matter how different they are from her, and has spent much time using and maintaining the Viltrum Empire's advanced technology. While she considers herself a pacifist, she's been trained in Viltrumite combat arts by their most senior veterans, and is ferocious in battle.

@Kiragan_Natsuki Given Terra's nature she's far more likely to let Jason tire himself out trying to hurt her than anything else. Maybe put him in time-out for a little while.

Actually what I think would be really funny would be if he took one look at her and knew it wasn't worth the trouble.

@ActRaiserTheReturned Luckily she's a champion of peace so I doubt they'll come into conflict. Maybe not intentionally.

@Crimson Flame Danny and Ben are both hilarious when put in Invincible context. Danny for also being in the high school hero genre ("Yeah, my dad said being a superhero is bullshit.") and Ben for being a space hero ("Don't copy my DNA with that thing. If you turn into a Viltrumite, you won't turn back.")

@TruthHurts22 This is certainly true, but Terra is probably the most well-adjusted member of her family, childhood trauma notwithstanding.

@ActRaiserTheReturned There is also a gulf between Show Nolan and Comic Nolan, and since Terra doesn't exist in the show, I'm working off comic canon.

In the comic, Nolan kills all of the Guardians in about two panels. It isn't a fight, it's a slaughter.

@ActRaiserTheReturned Yeah that's what I was referring to. Decimating one planet took Nolan a year, and it's something he has a lot of practice doing. He only succeeded because the Flaxans usually bully dimensions with worse technology than theirs, and weren't preapred for a real fight. I don't think that qualifies him as a "galactic" threat.

@ActRaiserTheReturned Not really sure what scale or standards you're using, but in the case of Omniman it took him about year to nearly eradicate the Flaxans, who only had one planet.
