It's a shame there isn't more interest in this. Actually, you have me beat easily, since my Digimon interest check didn't get any response at all.

Can I just say there are some striking similarities between your idea and mine? They aren't identical or similar by any means, but they do share a few notable elements. Namely, the sinister corporation pulling the strings. Albeit the company in my RP was a gaming company, since the setting in my thread would have been closer in vein to Digimon Tamers - taking place predominantly in the real world and having the Digimon be an established Digital-pet video game franchise that turn out to be real creatures instead of just game data.

Anyway, if this does continue forward I'd be delighted to be included in it.
"She's right." said Roy in a matter-of-fact tone, "All we've got right now is standing in this room. But I aim to change that..." he unrolled a poster-board and tacked it onto one of the few places left on the wall that wasn't plastered with information about Patterson. He took a sharpie marker from the table and began writing the names from the list across the top of the poster. From left to right it read: Red Hood, Cheshire, Grace, Thunder, Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Calculator.

"Contacting some of these individuals won't be easy. Convincing them to help us will probably be even more difficult. But we have to start somewhere. I say we start right here..." he pointed to Red Hood's name with the sharpie then began writing some information underneath his name, starting with his real name: Jason Todd, "Red Hood, aka Jason Todd. A former Robin, taken in and trained by the Batman himself. He went rogue some time before Anarchy took over, apparently he had a falling out with Bruce, the details aren't clear to me. But the last time I heard anything, he's still in Gotham somewhere, plus he's one of the few heroes who managed to remain masked, as far as I know Anarchy never unmasked him." he skipped over Cheshire for now and gestured to the name Grace.

"Grace Choi. Metahuman. Her power? Enhanced strength. She and I go back a ways, I first met her when I was still going by Speedy. She was a bouncer for Chaney's, a bar in Metropolis. I don't know if she's still there, but it's worth looking into. We could use the extra muscle." as he talked, Roy wrote down some of the information he was telling under Grace's name, indicating that each would have a column of notes and contact info dedicated to them. He moved on to the next name.

"Anissa Pierce, aka Thunder." Roy jotted her real name underneath the codename, "She's a meta with considerable lightning powers. Her father is Jefferson Pierce, aka Black Lightning. You may have heard of him. I'm afraid I don't know much beyond that, but a lightning meta would be pretty helpful against Anarchy's tech." after jotting down those notes, he moved on.

"Slade Wilson..." Roy said, almost with a bit of hesitation, "...but you probably know him better as Deathstroke the Terminator. Wilson joined the military at a young age, where he was later recruited for an experimental super soldier project that gave him enhanced combat skills and a healing factor. He went rogue sometime later, selling his deadly skills to clients who could afford them. He's been a known menace to both the Justice League and the Titans." that certainly explained why Roy knew this much about him, having dealt with the man personally alongside the Teen Titans, "Slade isn't the kind of man who would bend a knee to Anarchy. I can almost guarantee he's still out there somewhere."

"Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot." Roy had moved on to the next name, "After shooting and killing his brother, Floyd went became one of the world's deadliest snipers. He calls himself Deadshot, and is a crackshot with just about any firearm you can imagine. He may have started as a contract sniper, but he's spent more than enough time on Cadmus's "Task Force X" that I know he's capable of doing good as well. Someone with a sharp eye like his would be ideal as a lookout for operations."

"The Calculator..." Roy said, having moved on, "...the best hacker on the planet, or at least that's what he thinks of himself. His real name is Noah Kuttler, but don't let the ego fool you, Kuttler really is one of the best hackers out there. In fact it's a toss up whether he or Oracle is the best. Needless to say, having an "Oracle" of our own would be invaluable. That's assuming of course that Anarchy hasn't hired him first. But I know Kuttler's type, he won't want to stay in a cubicle for long. Sooner or later he'll want out, to be independent again. That's when we make our offer to him."

Since it became apparent that he ignored Cheshire, Roy finally said, "Leave Cheshire to me. She's an assassin, one of the best there is. I'll get in touch with her myself, besides... if I know her she won't want to talk with anyone besides me anyway."

Sorry about the super long wait for my CS. A few things came up that pulled me away from the computer for a couple for days. Anyway, I'll have the CS done by the end of today. Like I said before, I'm planning for a slightly more mature and tested Damian Wayne. He'll still have his prideful and condescending attitude, but after Bruce seemingly rolling over for the baddy (even if he's pulling a whole double agent thing), he's become more of a Batman figure.

Sounds like he'll clash with Roy a little, as Arsenal has also become a Batman figure. Ah well... Batman, Green Arrow, Wild Cat, Red Hood, they're all practically the same when you get right down to it, anyway. ;)

And yeah, I would have posted already but I was waiting on Archmage. Can we assume he dropped out or lost interest at this point? Surely we can send Toon Girl off on a mission that she doesn't come back from or something.

Bam! Instant MeetingWords page.

Will it ever be compromised. Doubtful. I don't know enough people for something like that. Even so, I'm not bothered by trolls anyway.
So Taka is completely alone right now? That kinda sucks, doesn't it?

Anywho, with all these sudden enemies that I assume are meant to be boss encounters, methinks some collaboration may be in order for this to avoid becoming a clusterfuck. <_<
Bump?
((Collab between Double and Letter Bee))

"Let's end this!" Jeanne's hologram said as she brought down her sword in a vertical slash, sending out a wave of light at Seth, which was not meant to be her primary attack; rather, she would leap up and try and flip herself behind the Nobody, slashing out with her blade once more.

Tocsax, meanwhile, was launching a stream of dark projectiles at the Ascot Hologram, who in turn reacted with a barrier of green light that reflected the bolts back at his opponent, who then froze the hologram in a block of ice, only to find the construct teleporting out, and launching a baragge of bolts of pure white light...

Seth didn't appear to react at first. It wasn't until the wave of light came dangerously close that a dome of sand sprung up around him and acting as a protective shell of sorts. Of course, an attack of light like that wouldn't be stopped by dark sand for very long, especially if compounded by a secondary strike from the flank. This woman was pretty skilled, but the Incubators were about to learn just who it was they were up against.

Jeanne's attacks both connected, and Seth's protective dome of sand appeared to be reduced to a harmless pile of sand. But the Nobody himself was not in sight. Always the tricky bastard, Seth used a Corridor within the dome to vanish from sight. Meanwhile, as the hologram of Ascot had just launched a sizable volley of light energy bolts, what should appear between the pair? A Corridor of Darkness, naturally. The Corridor caught the volley of projectiles, only to send them... over to Jeanne.

After emerging from the Corridor, Seth flashed an unsettling grin, "Attacking your own ally? Not very sporting of you, I think." he said with a chuckle, effectively establishing himself as an opponent of both Jeanne and Ascot. As long as this was two versus two, then he and Tocsax may as well have each others' backs.

Tocsax would smile, saying:

"You really are good, Seth." He would then raise his Keyblade high up in the air, causing bolts of lightning to come down and impact not just Jeanne and Ascot's holograms, but several of the walkaways and crystals. Continuing, the Nobody Keyblader would then speak:

"Let's maximize damage to Incubator infrastructure while fighting; after all, we need to take them out of the fight."

Jeanne and Ascot, meanwhile, would step up their game. With new programming subroutines given them by the Incubators, Jeanne would lift up her sword and cause columns of light that were as fast as well, light, to come down and impact Tocsax and Seth, while Ascot would cast:

"Zero Graviza!" in a hollow, afraid voice, causing the two Nobodies to float up after getting hit or avoiding the columns of light. The hologram of the Multiverse's 'creator' would then ready his Holo-Keyblade, which was in the shape of a regular Kingdom Key, and teleport directly at Tocsax, before saying, once more:

"Ars Arcanum!" letting loose a flurry of glowing strikes and cuts at Tocsax.

"Maximum carnage, huh? I think I've got it." Seth moved to try something, but the sight of Jeanne's light columns stopped him before he could do it. The speed of light was difficult to match, but thankfully Seth had just the answer:

"Hastega." he whispered, making sure to use the more advanced spell so that Tocsax would also benefit from the speed boost. With that, avoiding the light columns became much easier. But Ascot, or at least this thing that looked like him, didn't plan to let them off so easily. With a single spell, the speed from the Hastega was rendered null and void as gravitational forces held the Nobodies down and then lifted them up into a helpless position.

Ascot went on the attack, but still seemed to want to focus on Tocsax instead of Seth. Whelp, that would just be its downfall, "You'll regret ignoring me... Stopga!" even trapped by a Zero Gravity field, Seth could still use magic of his own, this one was the adanced Stop spell that would hopefully keep their opponents still long enough for the two Nobodies to get some kind of strategy going.

Seth had one idea, and encased himself and Tocsax within another sand dome. But at the same time, other sand domes also began to take shape, "Ever play the shell game?" Seth asked his teammate, "Use Corridors of Darkness to move between domes of sand and stay hidden. Think of it like a life-or-death version of the old shell game routine. When we do have to emerge, we may want to consider calling in our personal cavalries if you get my drift."

"Indeed," spoke Tocsax, before he drew out a data drive from his black robe. "We might also use this on the Holographic Ascot; this drive contains the conciousness of Data-Ascot, a computer program developed to seek out the records of the Old Keyblade Order. If we can upload this drive to Hologram!Ascot by jabbing it into his chest, Data-Ascot can possess him and give us another ally, at least temporarily." Tocsax didn't mention the fact that Data-Ascot had a capital-h Heart; that was irrelevant.

"Well, that still leaves Ms. Tall-Brunette-and-Beautiful for us to deal with. Of all the Magical Girls the Incubators could have dug up they pick the one who seems the biggest pain the arse. What do you say we give her some extra sparring partners to play with while we focus on Not-Ascot?" it wasn't the most brilliant or revolutionary plan in the world, but it could at least suit their current needs.

"Huddle-time over then, yes? The Stopga spell should be wearing off right about now..." with that Seth disappeared into a Corridor that would lead him to underneat one of the other domes. The one he chose was positioned at an equal dstance from both enemies while still facing their flanks, "Go big or go home."

Outside the dome, it suddenly burst apart, sending a volley of sand spikes right at Not-Ascot. Seth simultaneously willed a small battalion of Snipers around Jeanne's position and let them fire at will, "Hope this is enough coverage for you, Tocsax."

"It is!" Tocsax said as he opened up his own Corridor to behind Not-Ascot, then jabbed the data drive at the hologram, causing a bright flash of light.

Unauthorized intrusion detected - Source: Data-Ascot created by the Keyblade Order Remnants, the Incubators, their catlike bodies showing no emotion except a smile, Purge attempt: Failed.

The Ascot Hologram, his dead, unemotional eyes now replaced with a visible smirk, turned on the Incubators, calling a column of light upon yet another of their walkaways, while Jeanne tried to leap, parry, or otherwise avoid the Snipers' bolts, only to find herself getting hit anyway.

Tocsax, meanwhile, conjured up his own battalion of Samurai Nobodies, which began thier own wreckage of Incubator infrastructure.

Nevertheless, the Incubators were non-plussed, and instead said:

Scenario 2880 has come to fruition; launching countermeasures. And with that, a gigantic hole opened up in the sky, and a gigantic artifcial moon, constructed out of panes of light, would descend from it, brimming with crackles of electricity at its underside.

A museum piece from when we needed weapons against rival civilizations. This superweapon was the last to be 'shelved', a planet destroyer for purging entire civilizations. We have decided that you three individuals are a threat that needs to be dealt with with force this overwhelming, even if more of our infrastructure would be destroyed by this. In fact...

Several portals opened up, leading to Renovation, Chronos, Glory of France, Alternate World War II (where the Allies were finally winning), and various other worlds that were important to the group.

In fact, we may actually destroy the remnants of the Old Keyblade Order entirely, and thus remove those who would threaten to increase the flow of Entropy...

Seth almost smiled. Almost. Was he really this much of a threat that the Incubators felt the need to unleash a planet-busting superweapon just to beat him? It was almost flattering in a way. Then they had to go and ruin the fun by threatening a multitude of worlds, including their so-called allies from Chronos.

"Well, this certainly... escalated." said the Nobody with a chuckle, "You'll even turn your superweapon against Chronos? The people you supposedly brokered a deal with? Sheesh, and I thought I was the one with no feelings." Seth wasn't without his purpose, however, as he turned on the little communication bug that Drake left for him so that what he said next could be heard by Drake who would hopefully be able to forward it to their Fleet.

"So you're basically going to wipe out all these worlds, and all the people in them just because two humble Nobodies managed to piss you off?" Seth said with a shrug, then added, "Can't say I'm not flattered. But you should know, my employer is not going to be happy when he hears about this... which he should be right about nowish." Maybe, just maybe, the Emperor's fleet could muster up enough firepower to destroy this thing. Also, the message would naturally get passed along to the rest of the Team as well, signaling them that they should probably pick up the pace just a smidge and maybe try to come up with some kind plan to counteract this superweapon.

Apparently I'm not allowed to have a life outside the internet without someone bitching at me for not posting as often as they do. In which case, fine, I'm not a fan of rushing things at such a break neck pace anyway. Consider this my formal withdrawal from the game. Best of luck to you.
Our universe's version of Jeanne D' Arc, a Magical Girl of immense power whose wish was 'to bring Light to France'. A 'Holy Warrior', her duplicate is intended to be a match against dark powers held by the entity known as Seth. As for Tocax, however...

And yet no one is going to understand why I'm reacting that way for quite a while yet.
“Why would you want to destroy the incubators?” Cheese turned another page and continued to read about the Witches Barriers. “They provide a service for a cost and it’s all laid out fairly so it’s not as if they’re doing anything wrong. There’s not really any reason why we should stop them.”

""Destroy them"...?" the Nobody cocked an eyebrow, "...you misunderstand me. I said we should eliminate them. Drive them off? Remove them from the equation? Of course we can't kill them all..." his innocent grin never faltered, but he did offer the fairy a wink, "...that would just be silly. And very, very evil. I'm guessing the boss over there wouldn't want us to go sinking to Leo's level just to complete a mission." interesting thing for him to say, considering that little stunt he pulled against Nate and Nora back in France.

"Maybe I misheard the briefing, but these Incubator people are manipulating innocent girls into accepting powers they do not grasp or understand and then allowing them to suffer what sounds like a fate worse then death... right?" Seth asked, managing to summarize the basis of the world in that single question, "How is that not a reason to stop them? You guys are trying to save people, yeah?"

"Whelp, this is definitely a... world." Seth said in response to his new surroundings. He and Tocsax were sent to the Incubator's world, the Emperor apparently agreeing with Seth's assessment of the aliens since the twos' mission was simply to take them down. Whether he meant actually destroying them or not, well... it didn't really matter. In the end, the Incubators had to be stopped before they could ally themselves with Leo and become an even larger threat. The idea of Leo being able to add an army of Witches or Magical Girls to his forces, well, that was just unacceptable.

Humans - no, Nobodies, a telepathic voice boomed out from the inhabitants, if your business in the Incubators' Citadel is the destruction of our civilization, we must warn you that you risk the overall welfare of this universe...then again, mortals are so uncautious.

The Nobody instinctively clutched his head when the migraine came out of nowhere. Compounding that was a horrible screeching noise in his ears. And of all things he started seeing... a pyramid, with him inside it. He was preparing to face Hakim, so it looked like the incident just before they met the Princess of Heart in that world. After that he saw Moscow - more specifically, the tanks followed by his previous encounter with the assassin. What exactly were the Incubators trying to accomplish by making him relive recent events? Then some kind of hologram appeared. A girl in some kind of armor with a sword.

Our universe's version of Jeanne D' Arc, a Magical Girl of immense power whose wish was 'to bring Light to France'. A 'Holy Warrior', her duplicate is intended to be a match against dark powers held by the entity known as Seth.

"So... you're basically sacrificing innocent girls to save your universe?" Seth asked, the headache pain starting to die down, "Or maybe you're just trying to save your own skins?" the image of Jeanne raised her sword in preparation for an attack, "It's all just numbers to you guys, right? The ends justify the means..." the girl lunged, going for a straight charge only to be pushed back by a sudden burst of sand, "Can't say I disagree with that, but my employer? Well, he does disagree, and asked me ever-so-nicely to come put a stop to it. So here I am."

Jeanne charged again, thrusting her sword at the Nobody several times, even throwing in the occasional horizontal or diagonal slashes to vary it up. Seth was fast, though, able pivot his body from side to side or just sidestep the attacks altogether. Without warning he spun his body around and his entire leg from knee to ankle smashed into Jeanne's waist and sent her back several feet. It wasn't a very hard hit, so she recovered almost instantly and was on the move again.
