Physical Profile ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Usually jamming to music is Carmen Santos, or as she demands everyone calls her "Lily". She always has some kind of smile or something else on her face. The girl's really child-like, energetic, and can't ever seem to stand still (which is why she probably didn't join the army!). She's a sight that you'll remember because of her vaguely punk style. It's her dreads that are vaguely dyed a dark-blue color and all of her piercings. Other than that her sense of fashion is pretty modern and hip-hop-inspired like most other girls her age. Usually wearing leggings, shorts, and Lily seems to be that rare breed of Floridian that can wear jeans and jackets in eighty-degree weather (Seriously what the fuck is up with that?). If she didn't have the dreads and boobs she feels like people would think she's a stud. Now, in case you haven't realized it yet; but Lily is Hispanic. She's Puerto-Rican and her skin is a somewhat light-brown color. She has a bit of Dominican and/or African-American (Well, more than Puerto-Ricans normally have) in her blood. Her ass isn't huge so she dispels this. Because of her nature as a wild-cat, more or less, she has a lot of different scars and stuff. Nothing dramatic... she got cut a lot and they healed in a nasty way. Otherwise, she's pretty clear. The girl got tatted up seemingly the very second that she hit eighteen. So up her right arm, she has a sleeve of flowers. in her attempt to live up the name "Lily". Around her left boob, she has a floral wreathe and on a dare, she got a tattoo on her upper thigh of flowers that goes onto her butt cheek. Not a whole lot of people see these tattoos. She's even got a tramp stamp. Psychological Profile ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Wild: Lily isn't exactly the most subtle human being in the book. Think of the spiciest pepper in the world, and she's even spicier than that. She's very sassy, hot-blooded, and outspoken and especially doesn't like taking other people's crap. Lily is usually cracking a joke of some sort. Gadfly: The other facet of Lily's personality is that she looooves prodding people in order to get some sort of rise out of them. Honeypot: Lily's a former stripper baby, she's good at putting on facades for desperate and horny people for whatever present need.

Carmen was just a regular Lil' gal that was born n' raised in Neon Miami. Little Havana to be a bit more specific, which was mostly Cubans but it had a fair share of fellow Puerto-Ricans. Imaginably, Carmen didn't have the best upbringing given that Neon Miami fucking sucks. So she kind of grew up hanging around other hoodlums and she had a bit of root in some of the lower gangs (so low they couldn't even get a color) given that her father was a gangbanger. He claimed that he wanted a better life for Lily, but all that happened was that he got himself killed and she was left fatherless. Her mother got roped up with a member of the Caras Rojas, and that guy was a creep... and eventually tried to pimp Carmen out. That didn't sit well with Carmen at all... so eventually, she just split.

She spent the next little while couch-surfing, going from place to place. Eventually, she got roped up in being a stripper by one of her friends. She talked Carmen into it, telling her that she was pretty enough for it. Of course, the strip club she picked was a dirty, seedy, strip club that wasn't exactly safe. At all. It was inhabited by Caras Rojas and while she didn't like them, they had big bills and Carmen liked that. It was chill at first, but the Red Faces started getting a little rowdy. The kind of rowdy that people like the Lips didn't like, and a little gang war broke out between the Lips and the Caras Rojas.... and in the crossfire, two of Carmen's friends were killed.

It was disastrous... and it was why Carmen decided to bring an end to the Lips and the Caras Rojas. By naturally joining one of the other rival gangs and worked towards bringing them down. Carmen adopted the street name, Lily, after her time as a stripper and joined the Royals. This was when they were just a lowly street gang that didn't even have a color... and though a combination of gang banging, trading, and claiming territory, they eventually earned themselves a color.

Since then, Lily has been a loyal member of the Royals... even though they keep passing her up for promotions.

"When you think of Miami you think of sunny beaches? Maybe you watched too many of those stupid eighties movies which show the place like some kinda neon paradise? Well, apparently so did some jackass. Welcome to Neon Miami, where Neon goes to die apparently. It looks like regular old Miami, U would kinda prefer it that because all these fucking neon lights hurt my eyes. It's okay during the day but during the night? God damn. All you see is pink, blue, red, and all sorts of colors, I don't know, this fucking place is starting to make me color blind."

"Ahem. The place looks nice for the tourists at least, it's the only way this place stops from more or less fucking sinking into the Ocean. Because it's expensive as all hell here and it's rife with crime. Drug lords, pimps, degenerates, dumbasses, Florida men, and corporations are bleeding the soul of this city dry. You probably heard about the massive gang wars that are constantly going on. Well, unless you're rich, a tourist, or a drug lord, you don't get too many options here. Either you're prey or the predator... and I think you'd be fed up with staring down a shotgun every other week, too. Unless you're into that shit, freak."

You go around the north side of Overton, and you're going to see their colors all over the place. You're gonna see graffiti, purple clothes... yeah, you get the point. They're the rising upstarts that took purple for themselves and call themselves Royals? I'm apart of them so you can say that I'm a bit bias. I think they're going to become the best Neon Miami has to offer... and I don't mean stuff like honor and code. They're skilled. They started out as a street racer gang that decided to expand their... interests, as I would say. They went from pedaling cars to pedaling drugs... okay, I admit that was stupid. Will they become Miami's royalty? Eh, probably. Miami is full of so many idiots they're likely to kill each other off. They're run by a singular leader they call a King or a Queen... okay that information is completely useless unless you're trying to murder one of them."

They walk around in red masks and shit dressed up as wrestlers. They're pretty swole, but that's maybe because they've been taking the same roids that they've been peddling! But they deal in drugs, steroids, gambling, cars, that sort of shit. They really got beef with the Royals. Just watch your back if you're going into Little Havana and Allapattah, because they own red and if you see Red around those parts... yeah."

Welcome to the Neon Rainbow: The Kings & Queens of Miami.

An RP that I wanted to do inspired by games such as Saint Rows (primarily), Sleeping Dogs, Grand Theft Auto, Watchdogs, and Party Hard. A low-key satire of those games that tell the tale of a hyper, overcommercialized, version of Miami that comes alive at the night time. This place is known as, and it's a place that's rife with crime, degenerates, greed, and corporate lawyers. Neon-Miami is ruled by different "colors", and that I mean each and every gang takes a color aesthetic and motif and run with it. And each gang has their own schtick and gimmick as well. This is the story of one particular gang that's considered in the "middle" of the food chain and their journey to crush all the other gangs. This gang is the one that took the purple color for themselves and aim to take over Miami. The only problem?

1. OOC Rules

^{⋗ 1 . 1 |} Remember that everybody is here to have fun above all else. We may throw a few flowery jabs at each other, but remember it's all in good fun. The Golden rule is: don't be a dick.

^{⋗ 1 . 2 |} That said, remember that I have the full right to deny anyone access to the RP, and I am willing to remove anyone from the RP should they get too unruly. I hope it doesn't come to that, but I'm just putting that out there.

^{⋗ 1 . 3 |} I enforce a policy of not informing people of every time they should post (unless their character is in the middle of interactions). If you go inactive without a peep, I'm not going to babysit you. It's a player's responsibility to keep up with the RP.

^{⋗ 1 . 4 |} Please be respectful towards all other players.

^{⋗ 1 . 5 |} Please do not post a "wip" sheet in the thread. I find it very irritating when someone posts an incomplete character sheet. If you want me to read over what you have so far, just PM it to me. If you need a place to work on it just private message the sheet to yourself (or write it on one of many platforms).

^{⋗ 1 . 6 |} This RP will strictly be "first come, first serve." Meaning I will not reserve any powers/character roles/etc, and they will go to whoever finishes their character sheet first. If there's a conflict over it, I will decide the outcome.

^{⋗ 1 . 7 |} Character applications will go into the OOC (where we can work things out) until they are accepted. In other words, the character tab is for accepted characters only. Also, do not "reserve" a spot in the Character Tab unless you were given permission to by me.

^{⋗ 1 . 8 |} Most of the discussion will take place over Discord and it's highly recommended that you do it.

2. IC Rules

^{⋗ 2 . 1 |} No Powergaming, God-Modding, Metagaming, etc, etc... You know, the "don't"s of Roleplaying. You know the dealio.

^{⋗ 2 . 2 |} All I ask for is one post a week. If it's been a week since your last post, your character will be placed into the inactive section until they are written off (mostly by death). Once a character is inactive, however, they are officially an NPC and can be used freely by the GMs, or the players. Unless you give notice of your absence, then your character is off the table.

^{⋗ 2 . 3 |} I am not a stickler for post length. I'd rather have a meaningful paragraph, over an essay full of filler. But, I request one paragraph.

^{⋗ 2 . 5 |} This RP, at times, will get very dark. I plan for it to be a very mature, and down-to-earth Roleplay. There will be death, drinking, drugs, and tickle fingers.

^{⋗ 2 . 6 |} Character death is a real possibility. By submitting a character, you understand that they have to take responsibility for their actions. They will not be bailed out by me and possibly get injured or die. I won't jeopardize the story for one character. They can also be killed by other characters. I won't go out of my way to kill off any character - that I like - but I may injure them for the sake of the story.

^{⋗ 2 . 7 |} Romance/Sex/Whatever is allowed in the RP. "Fade to magenta" is so beaten into your heads by now that there's no point in even repeating it.

^{⋗ 2 . 8 |} To keep things a bit more organized, please say where your post is taking place at the start of your post.

^{⋗ 2 . 9 |} If you're also expecting me to hold your hand every step of the way, then you're going to be disappointed. This is going to be an RP that rewards taking initiative, and starting plotlines of your own. I'll provide a storyline, but I'm not going to be railroading everyone.

^{⋗ 2 . 10 |} The tone of the RP will be moderately light-hearted. It's a satire of games and stuff that glorifies the criminal lifestyle, after all.

3. Character Creation Rules

^{⋗ 3 . 1 |} Everyone's going to be a member of the Royals and that's not under discussion.

^{⋗ 3 . 2 |} I expect some moderate detail when writing your character sheet.

^{⋗ 3 . 3 |} If your goal is to basically make the strongest/best character, and try to "win" the roleplay, let me stop you here and say you won't get far. This is a story, not a place for you to wank your OP self-insert. Nothing says "I'm a bad writer" to me than giving your character the strongest abilities (along with an ass-ton of skills). I will not hesitate to ask you to change whatever I dislike about your character sheet.

^{⋗ 3 . 4 |} If your character is a sociopath/psychopath, complete badass, perfect character, edgelord, then they're likely not going to get accepted.

^{⋗ 3 . 5 |} You can create a character of any ethnicity, gender, sexuality, background, etc, within the bounds of realism of course. You can definitely get creative here.

^{⋗ 3 . 6 |} I'm not placing a hard character limit, but I'm going to recommend you have no more than three characters. Afterward, you better bring something new to the table.

^{⋗ 3 . 7 |} We're using western art for this rp, no anime but any art style you can find.

^{⋗ 3 . 8 |} When creating a character, try to be diverse. Look at the character sheets and try to fulfill a role that no one has.

^{⋗ 3 . 9 |} Please refrain from tacking skills onto characters. Try to make everything feel natural to your character.

^{⋗ 3 . 10 |} The RP is not a cyberpunk RP (because I'm certain one of you didn't read a thing) and will be grounded as far as stuff like magic and technology goes. Which means normal, current era, weaponry and none of that ridiculousness.
