Kolvar Stilmyst

Kolvar had a frustrated look on his face. Mostly from not being able to communicate with the hoomans. “I believe that would be the best course of action.” He nodded his head and started walking out of the ship. The shuttle bay was starting to become quite crowded and personally, it was starting to become quite tense. When he got out of the hole he was greeted by the platoon of Tekeri soldiers. Rolling his eyes and thinking that the arrival of Nellara’s goon squad would cause alot of issues. He made his way over to a soldier pointing towards him with a clawed finger, “I was told by your commander to go to Lenkik to fetch a thought mage, I assume you know where to find one in Lenkik.

The soldier nodded his head before rubbing his head, “The inquisitors would be able to help you with your search. It would be best if I join you and help you find the inquisitor.”

Kolvar had no objections to this suggestion. He would be clueless trying to find the inquisitor by himself. “It would be best if we take the form of a bird like a creature, it would be a quicker form of travel than walking.” He didn’t seem to care if the soldier was hesitant about being transformed into an animal. Kolvar used his magic to transform himself into a large bird creature. Not caring he was doing so in front of the other soldiers. Doing the same process to the solider. The other soldier watched in amazement as they saw the true power of life magic.

The two were now flying towards Lenkik. During the course of the flight, Kolvar made no attempt to make conversation with the soldier. While he was flying toward Lenkik he noticed something strange moving in the fog. He couldn’t tell what it was so he turned his head towards the soldier. “Do you know what that is?” He said pointing towards the group.

The soldier squinted his eyes before speaking up. “It looks like Glenfolk, a whole pack of them. It looks like they are moving toward the others. We should turn back and warn the others.” A sentiment that Kolvar agreed with.

Let us go back and warn the others.” The two then started flying back toward the crash site. Kolvar was worried that the arrival of another armed force would cause more tension between the foreigners and Nellara’s group. He did not want a violent conflict to occur, not wanting to lose the opportunity to lose the valuable information the foreigners had.

The two finally arrived at the crash site, of course it didn't take long for them to return. Kolvar didn't seem to bother turning them back into their original form. The soldier ran over towards Nellara. "Commander while I and Kerchek were flying towards Kenkik, we noticed a platoon of Glenfolk moving our position. What should we do?"

Kolvar then spoke up. "If I may suggest we should keep a level head, and speak with their commander about what their intentions are. I am sure you do not want a bloody skirmish to occur."

@Ruby

Okay sounds good. I apologies for the dumb question.
Is this RP still alive?
@Andromedai

Well how about a wandering priest/cowboy like character kinda like Joshua Graham?

Joji Yamazaki

Joji felt quite embarrassed that his suggestion was being disregarded. Mainly from the druid whose name he had forgotten he had gotten an enormous fish. And there would be no need for building a shelter. “Shit.” He thought to himself now sitting down beside Zell and the others. He was grateful that there was food for him to eat. ‘Thank you.” He addressed his gratitude towards the druid. He unpacked his things onto the ground and started looking for something in his pack. Pulling out some tobacco, and rolling papers. Something he had bartered with a soldier for some gold pieces.

He was rolling the tobacco onto the paper into a stubby looking cigarette. Lighting the hand rolled cigarette by placing the tip inside the fire. Striking it against the sole of his shoe. Taking a deep drag with a sense of euphoria on his face. Thinking that cigarette was the best thing he’d ever had in his entire life. “Do you need help cutting that fish into sizeable pieces?” He asked the druid. Tapping his hand on the hilt of his sword. Wanting to be some use to the group. Joji took a moment to relax a little, he was sure the others were glad to just chill out around a fire. The large man took another drag from his homemade cigarette. “Well, hopefully our luck starts getting better.” Joji Took one more drag of his cigarette, tapping it so the ash fell onto the ground beside him.

Kolvar Stilmyst

Kolvar looked quite frustrated as things were starting to get a little chaotic. The situation could go south if one of them made any sudden movement. His body tensed up a little as more “Hoomans” came into the room. He was not confident that Shirik’s fire show was much help in communicating with these aliens. While hearing them speaking to each other, obviously talking about them being in their flying ship. Kolvar opened his mouth trying to see if he can speak their language. “H…e…l…l…o…w…e…c…o…m…e…i…n…p…e…a…c…e.” Of course, this would sound like gibberish to the hoomans. His efforts to try and communicate with the aliens would be utterly useless. Kolvar seemed to back away as the giant iron golem soon came into the room. The wandering scholar looked quite scared of the golem. “What in the god's name is that?” He pointed toward the golem with a clawed finger.

I could go and fetch a thought mage, I know of one that would be able to help us.” He was now standing behind Nellara and Kareet. Making sure he was not in the line of fire from the hooman’s weapons. Although he was not sure how to communicate this to the crewmembers. Nor would he be able to convince the others of his plan. “Perhaps the one named Vigdis could accompany me? Of course, if we can convince them to allow for such a thing.

He suddenly took a few steps forward after gathering some courage, so now he was standing in front of the others. He pointed towards himself and then towards the hoomans, then pointing towards his mouth and his forehead. Using very crude non verbals cues to try and communicate with them. Tapping his head and then towards his mouth, before making a walking motion with two fingers before pointing towards both himself and the humans once again. Trying to convey the idea of one of them joining him to fetch someone who could read minds. "I could transform one of you and myself for faster travel to fetch a thought mage." He assumed Kareet or Nellara have access to a thought mage.

Joji looked quite annoyed that they would have to camp out for the night. But he understood why because it could be incredibly dangerous walking on foot at night. It would be comparable to walking the worse neighbourhood at night. “I would assume they’d have some information on the cube. At least I hope so.” He sort of trailed off now rubbing his chin with his hand. “Or maybe we can get some info from this witch lady.” He added now joining the others. Now that they were looking to settle down for the night, there was the need to make shelter and probably find some food. His stomach started growling, indicating that he was starting to get hungry.

I can help with building some shelters for us. Although i don’t know if my sword will do any good with chopping down the trees around here. Does anyone have an axe by any chance?” Joji would be fine with hunting or gathering food for the group. “If someone else wants to build the shelter, then I can go out and find some food. Does anyone wanna join me with either task?” The large man was now rubbing his shoulder, feeling a little tired from fighting the skeletons. He was easy with whatever task the others would want to give the Japanese man.

He thought Zell or the American farmer would want to join him. The farmer seemed to know little about scavaging and living in the wild.

Kolvar still did not understand the equation and what the pinkie was trying to say. “Damn if only we had a thought mage here.” He cursed under his breath with a grimace on his face. He took a closer look at the equation in front of him. “It seems the pinkie wants the aluminum quill.” He wanted Kareet to trade the pen for the strange tape. Watching the alien writing down another equation this time on the metallic wall. Taking a moment to try and figure out what it meant. “Do you have any idea what this new equation means? Does it look like some sort of measurement of some kind?” Tapping his clawed hand towards the bottom of his beak. Again he was having a hard time trying to figure out what the equation meant.

Extending it out while reading the numbers along the tape. Letting go and looking scared as it snapped back into place. “Strange.” He once again extended it out for Kareet to have a better look at. Perhaps this measuring tape would be the key to them solving the equation. “No I do not think this creature is alone, so we should be ready in case the others come. And I assume the other crewmembers will be quite aggressive.” He said pointing towards Vigdis.

But we should keep a levelled head, and keep trying to keep making communication with these foreigners.” He did not like the introduction of Nellara and her people waiting outside. He did not want to lose the valuable information inside the ship to the Order. He felt like an idiot for not being able to figure out the equation. But he would try his best to help them.

The tall man nodded his head when Adam answered his question, “Doesn’t seem too bad. We shouldn’t dilly dally for too long then if we wanna get there quickly.” He assumed they all felt the same urgency to get to Valheim as he did. He was a little curious about the cube, so he would probably watch as the others inspect it. Joji would not be surprised if something bad came out of that object. He had seen a lot of horror movies involving a cube, and a shit ton of hooks attached to chains. Joji kept his eyes on their surroundings, placing his hand on the handle of his sword.

The large man once again was skeptical that they would not be able to find any information on why they were here. There seemed to be an awkward silence which made the large man feel quite anxious. He turned towards Zell, “Why do you think that cube is so important? Do you think there’s something very powerful inside? Or maybe the cube itself is some sort of uber powerful item?” Joji was not sure what was going on with that particular cube. But it seemed to be important somehow.

But I’m wondering if we’re gonna have to ask around for information. Or if whoever we’re giving this cube to would know what’s going on.” The large man thought that would be the case. But things could be more complicated than they seemed.

Joji walked along with the others towards Valhiem, he really hoped they would be able to find some answers. He wanted to know why he was here besides being tasked to kill some witch. His train of thought was disturbed by the British man speaking to him. He seemed to be implying that he was a criminal of some kind in his previous life. His eyes were scanning Zell. Trying to figure out what he was all about. To him, he seemed like a loudmouth. Something that could get someone in his line of work to be quite dangerous.

Hi, and I hope we do. I want to know why we were chosen to be here.” He didn’t want to admit his rather terrible profession in his other life. But he could tell that he and Zell had similar backgrounds. “But I’m not sure where to start looking for answers.” He rubbed his chin trying to think of how they could talk about where the Witch Queen was. Which seemed to be the only way they could get any answers. If they could somehow defeat her. “Perhaps if we stick together, we would have a better chance of beating this bitch.” He said wanting to team up with Zell in particular. Because they had such a similar backgrounds.

Taking another look over at Zell, he was curious if he had recognized Zell from before. But shook his head thinking that perhaps he had seen someone similar on t.v.

How long before we get to Valhiem?” He asked Adam after a few seconds of silence. He hoped the group could get to Valhiem before nightfall.
