@Fallenreaper Well you just started, right? No worries. Most of us have eaten our share of dirt in the past. My whole RPing career started in an arena.

If you wanna have a go at me, you're welcome to. I'll try my best to be a good teach. I really get in to character, though... so I'd face you with a more honourable character. (Not Locke; see how I get when I play as Locke?) If not, good luck in future exchanges.

Maybe someone will accept my challenge later... maybe I need to do some shit talking to find an enemy.

I at least want to work on Trixi and my other PCs first, namely as I've not actually gotten around to it. @Drifting Pollen and @Skallagrim also offered to be sparring partners and help me with the basics as did @Tearstone and another friend. So I might take you on that later down the road with Trixi who's arena career will likely be interesting since you can kill her/be killed by her and it still is cannon in her character history.

@Dazsos You fight like a cow, and you are only able to satisfy your wife on the weekdays.

Currently, I at one point wanted to introduce a wall of records for the arena which might allow visible bragging rights and give likely bragging rights for different things. Right now, the most common and highly played is mainly just 1x1 which aren’t the only types of battles you can have.

• Most gained points in a fighting season.
• Most fought battles. (not necessarily won)
• Most won ranked fights.
• Most won team up fights.(2v2, 3v3, etc.)
• Most won 1vs3 fights. (not sure about this as I only heard of one person ever doing that...)
• Match Voted most creative, most entertaining, tactics, etc. (Granted I’m not sure if this last one will work well as I don’t know how often people actually read other matches and I’m still debating on how to rightfully do this one.)

There might be more added but that's the main few that cropped into my head.

This might add some interesting flavor and something to aim for rather than merely being the best fighter over all, providing something for everyone's tastes rather than a single one. One would need to contact and notify the one keeping the record wall that you 1) you exist in the arena, 2) are aiming for a key title or titles, and 3) provide the links to your matches to prove you’ve beaten the old record.

The one thing is, if this idea was popular, we would need a separate thread divided into three areas and a thread keeper (or keepers sharing a single account) that was dependable and rather easy to get a hold of. Part of the reason I didn't suggest it because who ever does would have to have the motivation and drive to keep it going which isn't easy to find in rping.

Eh, I'd probably do it if necessary, I spend enough time in Arena as is. I'd have to probably ask Mahz for the permissions though and I can't really be bothered.

The scores don't mean that much anyway, my actual arena record is probably closer to 60 wins and 2 losses with a couple of tactical withdrawals mixed in.

Yeah.. that didn't turn out so well. I learned I didn't have the basics down as well as I thought and lost. One positive thing, I at least know what to work on with Trixi and how to improve her. I figured with some non rank sparring, practice and help, I should be able to improve though I want to work on editing Trixi before I do.

As for duking it out with Rilla, made it to 7th post and he bailed. XD
