The girl seemed a bit gloomy when she spoke. Her words were few, and barely audible over the huzz and buzz of the observation deck. The girl gave a courtesy before introducing herself as Aurelia. Aurelia Persinette. Even her name seemed so formal. Aqua did not return the curtesy, instead cranking her smile up to 11 and leaning against the window. "Aquarius. Haifisch. The pleasure's all mine." Her foot tapped lightly against the floor. While she had no doubt that every prospective student here was at least capable of fighting, she had trouble believing that the girl standing before her was a warrior deep inside. She seemed so regal, so uptight.

She decided to segue into another conversation topic. It didn't seem like the girl would speak up if she wasn't prompted to.

"So, I'm guessing you're not from Vale, considering that's where I grew up," Aqua stated matter-of-factly. "From somewhere else? Mistral? You look like a Mistral kind of person. More old-timey. Not saying you're old or anything,
just that the way you present yourself kinda gives you a more traditional look." The girl blurted out the entire phrase quickly, doling out words rapid fire. "Also, why'd you decide to come to Vale? Haven and Atlas academies are both very well-reputed," Aqua added. Once in the heat of the conversation, it was hard for her to cool off.

After asking these questions, she crossed her arms, waiting for a response, her index finger gently tapping her arm, her gills pressed flat against her neck.

@AdmrlStalfos19 Form's really original and looks good. Just consider shorterning her a little bit? Like 6'2" basically makes her a giant, especially for somebody still in their teens. And then add high heels O_O

@Shadow Daedalus With Xinyue just in, I'll work it out. I kinda wanna pair people up with their opposite, if you know what I mean. I think Cinna and Aeschel would definitely be a good partnership, but still iffy on the rest. Your suggestion will be accounted for.

Vale was a beautiful kingdom. The luscious forest that the airship currently flew over was only one example of that. Aqua lifted her face off the glass window after a long period of viewing, a smile on her face. If Beacon was anything like what she had seen, it would be a great year for sure. Aqua was looking forward to the airship landing at the Academy.

She looked to her right, to see another student imitating her. Aqua had always associated people with animals- it was a natural thing for her to do- and the girl their reminded her of a giraffe. She was sylph-like, tall, even moreso than Aqua herself, with willowy limbs and a svelte figure. Her hair was blonde and wavy, and her eyes had a sort of focus to them Aqua had to admire. She looked rather stiff, but Aqua figured she'd have to start with somebody.

"Hey." She turned to the girl, giving a wave in her direction. "View's awesome, isn't it?"

The trip was not a long one by any means. If anything, it was rather brief for the Shark Faunus, the island of Patch belonging to Vale, where Beacon was located. But the airship that the future students of Beacon were to take was certainly not speeding anywhere.

An announcement was made through the crinkly, low-quality loudspeaker system. “We will be arriving at Beacon Academy in approximately 10 minutes.”

Aqua (quite literally) rolled out of bed and made her way to the viewing gallery- a long bridge with semicircular windows located in the center of the airship. She rested her face against the window, seeing the full glory of mainland Vale for the first time in forever.

She expected that her other classmates and possible future teammates to come out and join her. And if they did, she would certainly be ready to meet them.

This was her fresh start, after all.
