Roxy rolled her eyes. Nothing Vlad could teach them could make them fit in with normal society. They weren't normal. They never be normal. Still they might be able to learn to blend in. She didn't really want to blend in but for now she was going to play by the rules. Vlad had changed things since her last escape attempt. She needed to know what those changes were and to find a way around this collar. Neither was going to be easy. She followed the guards to the classroom.

Katherin didn't see anyone else going. She didn't want to go but it looked like it might be the only way to get this over with. As she made her way to the weights she tried to decided what was normal for a girl be able lift. She didn't have a lot of friends so she really didn't know what the other girls were capable of. She decided to see go just a couple beyond what the other girl had done. That shouldn't make her stick out too much.
