The sudden appearance of several zombies caused the civilians near by to panic more. Those had been trying to avoid the fight were now running right into it. Now more innocents where in danger.

Jin was right. The men and woman that came out of the tanks had not only been trained to combat almost any power but they had devices that block most mental powers. they were as prepared for the mutants and meta humans as they could be. It wouldn't be easy to overwhelm them.

The looters continued to strike as many stores as they could. They started fires and destroyed property. Griffin started after them. He was confident Kalinda would stay with him. But if she chose to do something else he would be fine. He was confident in his own abilities. He had spent his life, as short as it was, fighting. While he only had a little professional training he had a lot of dirty fighting techniques.
Katherin headed to the nearest fire. There were so many of them. Some where burning fast and bright. Others were slower. Some were natural but most were not. The non-natural ones could be a problem. Katherin studied the building. She was afraid to freeze areverything. Still she had to do something. She would try to slowly freeze the building so people had time to escape and the building didn't collapse. As long as she didn't lose control it should be ok.
