Mutant Mission

Katherin woke to pain. Her mouth felt like she had been sucking on cotton balls. Which she was pretty sure that she hadn't been doing. She couldn't think of reason anyone would do something like that. She was on a cement floor which was strange. She never slept inside buildings. It was too dangerous. Her wings made her stand out so she avoided places were humans gathered. She slow got to her knees. She felt very light head. She wasn't sure that she could stand without falling. She pushed her long red hair out of her face only to discover that she was in a big metal building. One that was completely empty accept for the three other people in the big with her. She blinked in surprise. She wasn't used to being around people. She fluttered her wings to get away. She cried out as pain flashed through her.

Kyle had been distracted by lunch but it didn't take him long to realize that Ivy had wondered away again. If it wouldn't catch on fire he would by here a leash. He left the lunch room in search of his sister. Luckily she hadn't gone far. Unfortunately she had another new arrival following her. He hurried over to them. He grabbed his sister. "Yes. She knows where she's going but Ivy never does things the simple way. I apologize for my sister. I'll show you to the lunch room. The counselors and everyone else is there."
