Ryuhei wasn’t sure what to do with the scene playing out before him; a young martial artist held his master as the old man passed away, though he had no visible injuries he seemed to have exhausted himself in trying to keep Dyce pinned, giving his life to keep the alien from escaping. There wasn’t anything any of them could do other than stay quiet and give the pair the time they needed to say what needed to be said.

In the aftermath it was a young woman who responded first, yelling at the young man and saying something that, although true, probably could have been said more gently or said later. The next to approach him was the new arrival, who then turned to the rest of them and offered to help take Ryuhei’s master to the hospital. The reminder of Master Goichi’s injury, momentarily pushed to the back of his mind by what had happened, snapped Ryuhei out of his hesitance and caused him to move.

Ryuhei stepped forward and placed a hand on Yang’s shoulder. “I’m sorry. Your master saved all of us; I came here expecting to die fighting Dyce, but we’re all alive because of him.” Stepping back and turning to Korvus he nodded to the other man as he accepted his offer. “Okay then, follow me. We were attacked at out dojo and my Master was injured; it’s not life threatening, but he should still see a doctor as soon as possible.”

Rising into the air and preparing to leave, Ryuhei directed his parting words towards Yang. “I’ll be back as soon as I can and then I’ll accompany you to this temple; I want to get stronger as well.” With that said he nodded towards Korvus to signal his readiness and flew away from the battlefield in the direction of his master’s dojo.
As his Master strode purposefully between the rows and shelves of books, Rider followed at a more leisurely pace as he swept his gaze along the multitude of books before him. “There is much that I am curious about. I wish to study everything that has become of this world since my passing, its history and its wars, the rising and falling of empires and so on; it has been two thousand years since my death and these is much I would like to know.

“I know that Carthage fell, and that Rome tried to erase it from memory; my home relegated to a footnote in the history of my enemy. I would like to know what else has happened since then, but that is not our priority at the moment. We will have time for indulgences once this war is over.”

Rider stopped as he caught up to Kazamyr and found his attention brought to the book in his hands, ‘The Art of War’, which his Master no doubt found amusing. “I’d be intrigued to read the thoughts of another scholar on the subject, especially one who experience war in a different culture than my own. Other than that, maps of the town and the surrounding area, then the histories of Salem, Scandinavia and Japan, as you suggested.”

@Anza
@Geyter is this RP still going ahead?
As the class followed Goudo-sensei out of the gym and along the path to the clearing Kudo Akeno hung near the back of the group, walking with a slow and deliberate pace as she gave thought to everything she had seen so far today; from the other demonstrations following hers to the assembly and the teachers. She had put her jacket back on, the cool wintery air and the time she had spent cooling off removing any lingering aftereffects of her Quirk, and had her hands in her pocket as she paced after the others, easily managing the climb even in her distracted state.

The remaining students’ demonstrations had been no less impressive than the ones that proceeded it, some of them were even more impressive in fact, which helped reinforce in her mind that her decision to go up on stage when she did was the right one; her little karate showcase would have made a poor finale after everything else. It seemed that in spite of Jigokuraku’s fledgling reputation or the cynical words of some of the students, the school had managed to attract a number of high-quality applicants both in terms of their Quirks and in terms of talent. Her own space heater trick was probably the least useful Quirk of all the ones she had seen and most of them had pretty good control over their abilities; some of them looked like the were decent fights as well.

She’d have to work hard just to keep up.

Aside from introducing them to their teachers for the year the assembly held little information of note, but what information it did have was vitally important. This school was going to part of the Four Pillars program and compete in the Four Pillar Games; Akeno had never even considered that she would get to compete in something like that, why bother when she never even considered going to one of those prestigious schools. Not only that but they were going to be applying for their provisional license this year, as first years, and potentially have the ability to intern at hero agencies before the year was even out. In a way it was too much, too fast; there was no way she could improve enough in the next couple of months to be able to compete and against the best students in the country or pass the license exam. She couldn’t even match-up against most of her classmates.

As they reached the top of the hill and made it to the clearing Akeno returned her thoughts to the present and her current situation. They had been brought to a wide-open field surrounded by trees and hills behind a line of fences; aside from a few openings leading to paths heading into the trees there was nothing of note about the place that would indicate why they had been brought here. She had the feeling something very unpleasant was about to happen. Maybe it had something to do with the awkward smile on their teachers face, or the strangely familiar quality to his voice that made her want to hit him for some reason, but clearly, they had something planned.

"I feel like this is gonna be like the entrance exam. Stay alert, guys."

Akeno stopped by a shorter student with green hair and red eyes; she recognised him from his demonstration but couldn’t recall his name. The reminder of the entrance exam triggered flashbacks of an abandoned office building, a series of simulated death-traps and the voice of a villain who was having far too much fun. “For all of our sakes I really hope it’s nothing like that.”
The marble floor shattered under Berserker’s feet as he threw his battered body forward, heedless of the damage he had already taken or of the guns that awaited him. His only thought, as it always was, was of destruction.

With great strides the Viking closed in on the Russian Empress, his lopsided body and the heavy weight of his weapon making his movements clumsier than before but no less daunting. His eyes practically glowed in the darkness, their mad glint catching the light from Rider’s shimmering crown, and his breath steamed in the cold winter air that had descended on the battlefield.

Unseen in the dim confines of the palace’s hall, a shadow slipped through the shattered remains of the entranceway and rapidly made its way towards Berserker with unerring precision. The shadow streaked towards the Servant until it merged with his own shadow, melding with it and turning it a shade darker as it continued to creep towards his body. There was no obvious, immediate effect as the shadow returned to Berserker’s body, bringing with it the divine curse that Caster had imbued it with. The mad Servant didn’t break stride or slow his movements as a chill ran up his spine, nor did he shudder or break out in goose bumps at the change it brought about in him. He continued to charge at Rider regardless.

An observant soul might notice a slight change to his pallor, a slightly unhealthy greyish tinge that overtook him, or notice that the cuts and bruises that still covered his body seemed to have stopped healing. The true effects of the curse wouldn’t be seen until the next time Berserker took damage, only then would the damage done by Caster become apparent.

Here's my villain. I still need to write up the rest of her Quirk details and I might expand on her background a bit but here's the one-eyed hag of Russia.

Let me know if she's too much.

I'll try and get my villain posted tonight just so it's ready to go; I've just got a few changes to make the her backstory and Quirk to make first.

@Geyter an update on the progress of the OOC?

He was… gone. After everything that had happened, the destruction of an entire city at the hands on one man, the dojo being attacked and both him and Master Goichi being defeated it all seemed a little too easy for the would-be conqueror to lose like this. No, not just lose, but be completely and totally wiped out.

Ryuhei kept expecting it to be a trick, for the alien to appear from somewhere and attack them, but as the second turned into minutes and nothing happened it began to set in that things were really over.

A couple more people showed up, a large muscled man and a young woman with monkey tails and a pale skinned man with spiky hair, asking what had happened and what to do next. Ryuhei didn’t have an answer for them, he was still coming to terms with the fact that they had actually won and that no one had even died during the fight. After a couple moments of silence he snapped out of it and began looking around at everyone who was gathered around the crater.

“Is anyone hurt? Does anyone need a doctor?” The question reminded Ryuhei that he wasn’t exactly in top condition at the moment himself. A short rest after his first fight with the alien wasn’t enough to fully heal his injuries and his body was still battered and bruised, not to mention the fact that Goichi was probably still bleeding all over the dojo and refusing to go to a doctor. “I need to take my Master to the hospital; anyone who is hurt should come with me.”
Didn't expect this much interest. Will try fleshing this out a bit more before doing anything major. I just need a good plot to use that could fuel the RP for a few arcs.
