That being said I didn't PM a lot of you. But if you've been to the cafe when Heather was working she'd remember any regular orders so if you always order a certain drink she'll have it memorized. OR if you like tea she will give you experimental mixes if you're into that.

"I think you'll get along with Ryker," Elenore said to Alexander. "We have more children here right now then I've ever seen here. The last year alone, and this week three new students."

Sumi led the way to Cora's room beside Katalina. As they walked Hannah asked, "So Astrid I'm Hannah, she's Sumi. We're both from high nonsense worlds. I understand that you don't know what that means yet, but what was your world like? I mean obviously it was a land of the dead, but Christopher is from a land of the dead, and it was full of skeletons. What was your land like?" Hannah then shouted over her shoulder, "Catch up other newbie! That's Viola she believes she is a plant, which is fine because I believe I am a squirrel, but also a horse, and sometimes an Owl. Though one time I was an otter that was neat."

Heather enjoyed the walk. The was refreshing. Sirens blared a bit heading to some crime. She paused debating if curiosity should be satiated. Mr. Jackson had sounded, well not desperate, that wasn't the right word. More as if he wanted her there as soon as possible. She sped up her walk a little to make sure she got to the cafe faster.

"No problem." Heather gave a smile to Mr. Jackson and went to the back to get her apron on. She took a deep breath as she clocked in. Working would be fine. She told herself. Just lose yourself in making the coffee. Heather stepped back out into the cafe and took up a place behind the counter filling orders. She chatted with a couple of people, those who knew her and why she had been out of time gave her sympathetic smiles or asked why she was back so soon. "You know just get your mind off of it. It seems like I missed a lot here." The little she had heard before today hadn't told her much. "I think something else was going on as I was coming in. I heard sirens." Heather was a bit worried as to what might have happened and hoped no one else was dead. Especially in such a grisly manner. Maybe her father wasn't completely wrong, and she should have stayed back home a little longer. Not that LA was a good city, but something far more sinister feeling was happening here.

@Feisty-Pants It is called every heart a door and is really good (and super-inclusive). You guy will meet most of the canon characters (that are still at the school at least) and you'll see. Like Kade is trans.

But I'll take it, maybe Eleanor has made arrangments for Viola to sleep in the greenhouse (though never is mention of one in the books I could allow that as an oversight as it is an unnecessary thing to talk about in the books, just as I don't remember the pond being mentioned in the first book, but it is very important in the 3rd)
