I'm just posting to let you know that I didn't disappear. I just got dragged in the dark void known as work, for most of this week. Anyway, I've been stealthily ding improvements to the thread, starting with the Characters tab. I believe that everything will be ready for us to begin on Sunday, at most.

I've been reading the discussion, and got say that you guys have no creativity if you can't think of a way to not kill other players, when fighting them. If I allowed people to kill other PCs without consent, all that would be needed to ruin the RP was a mean spirited player with long range attacks and a high building from where he could snipe at pretty much anyone with utter impunity. I really don't believe it would be fun, or fair, to someone who was away for a day or two to come back and find that his character died because someone got too trigger happy.

Aliases/Titles: The Snake of Paradise, Crimson Lord of Chaos, He-who-must-not-be-named, Medusa, Tiamat, Nidhoggr, Orochi, and pretty much any other mythological serpent/snake monster.

Appearance:

Apophis looks like a pale-skinned, short young woman whose body has never passed through a growth spurt. Her ankle long, wavy jet-black hair seems to flutter around even when there's no wind to blow it, the reason for that is that every of Apophis' hair strings can take the shape of a black viper, if she wills so. The skin around a few places of Apophis' body, mostly her crimson snake-like eyes, takes on a scaly complexion whenever she's using her powers or simply angry, making her inhumanity easily noticeable.

For clothes, Apophis usually wears a loose black robe with red trimmings over a white mini dress along with thigh-high leather strapped sandals and a long red ribbon to keep her hair into place. On other times, she also wears a school uniform of no particular institution that she acquired from a cosplay shop, since it's much less troublesome to walk around on those clothes.

Personality & Bio:

Apophis is the physical embodiment of entropy, the primordial serpent that features in pretty much every myth from every human civilization throughout the history. A being of ultimate evil and chaos that seeks only to unmake all creation and return the world to the state of Primordial Chaos that was before it came to being.

That said, Apophis is a rather complex being, thanks to the fact that she isn't a single existence. In fact, the body she currently inhabits deosn't belong to her, but to an unlucky girl that stumbled upon an yet to be unearthed temple, while visiting the Egypt with her parents long ago. Inside the temple the girl found a weird looking puzzle and, moved by curiosity, she assembled it just to discover that the weird box contained a polished jet bracelet, engraved in the shape of a snake coiling around itself four times. Again, leaving the prudence behind, the girl donned the bracelet and thus her life as a mortal ended, and Apophis was once again able to walk the mortal world.

Powers:

Apophis' powers are vast, bordering on limitless, but the ones she uses the most are:

- Snake Summoning: Each of the strings of Apophis' hair can become a shadow viper and attack/act independent of her commands. She can also pluck a string and have it become either a normal shadow viper, or a humanoid snake.

- Oblivion Poison: The bite of the snakes created from Apophis' hairs is extremely poisonous, and any target affected by it will be engulfed in a pale flame that will burn them to literal nothing, since any victim that dies by the effect of this poison is effectively erased from existence.

- Hypnotic Gaze: Apophis can paralyze a victim that crosses crosses her gaze, even if the victim doesn't look directly in Apophis's eyes, including when they triy to close their eyes. The only safe ways to avoid Apophis gaze are either to be blind, or looking at her reflection instead of Apohis herself.

Skills:

Apophis doesn't have any special skills, except maybe that, thanks to her origins, she can speak and understand every single human language that has ever existed, exists, or shall be created, as long as it's not a restrict dialect like technical jargon or... internet slang.

Weapons:

Apophis doesn't have use anything like this

Equipment:

- Khaos Bracelet: The bracelet is made of polished jet in the shape of snake coiling around itself four times. Anyone who wears it will be possessed by the Primordial Serpent, even though the serpent in case changes with every possession. There's no known means to destroy it and anyone who gazes at the bracelet for long enough will start to covet the jewel and try to do anything on its power to have it. The wearer of the bracelet is effctivelly imortal and will regenerate from pretty much any damage until it is removed, at which point they will be consumed by the Oblivion Poison and cease to exist, much like their victims. Though, removing the bracelet is easier said than done because of its cursed powers.

The wielder's consciousness is spposed to be obliterate on the very same moment when they don the bracelet, but people of extraordinary willpower, or those with unnatural luck, may resist such a fate, even if just as sliver of their former selves.
