Gosh, it's always like this, I go sleep and the world falls apart faster than the Hindenburg diving in sea of gasoline. Anyway, this is kind of a pointless discussion, as @McFazzer and @TheWindel explained.

When was it that I said that any of your characters was useless?

Sure, there are many/a lot of Youkai that can't be defeated with conventional weaponry and such, but it's obviously meant to say that everyday men can't take on them with a pistol and such, Chasers defy the logic of the world by merely existing so they can do things that are otherwise impossible. Shooting an Oni with a pistol is like a mosquito wound, but a shotgun to the face, or an antimateriel riflçe would be able to deal some decent damage.

The thing with guns/physical combat is, if you're gonna rely on them, better become a badass and a creative one at that, but you can kill Youkai with them. Magic is just more reliable/safe. While on that, a spike of stone made with magic and a cannon shell would do the same kind of damage really (and would equally be unable to hurt a ghost), but a toothpick covered in a telekinetic field could do the trick.

It isn't hard to conceive these ideas based on what has been said/the first OOC and the Glossary, really that was a pointless discussion IMO.

Actually, I liked them both very much, and have plans for Vincent, involving YTC that should be most amusing for both of us, as long as you like a bit of scifi intrigue. As for Mami, I have only one thing to say... OMG! Alice, my favorite, I loved her from the first line onward, don't mind if the World's Strangest insists on glomping her at every possible opportunity.

Confidence, this is the word that can sum the irregular existence known as Itsuko Mariann Kanzaki. She's the best, the one and only, and she knows that and accepts no one spitting crap at her or trying to make the Rampaging Tiger bow down. That said, Itsuko can pass the impression that she's nothing but an arrogant fool to those around her, at least until they get acquainted to her and notice that, indeed she has an ego the size of the Sun, but she's no fool, or mean.

However, Itsuko has a habit of sticking up with people that she sees as those that need a bit of fire in their lives, or those she thinks are fun (though Itsuko's sense of fun is highly twisted because of her personality), after all... "If you don't think of yourself as the protagonist of your life, who will?" That's the most valuable lesson Itsuko got from her parents.

Nevertheless, to think of oneself as the best is not to think of others as inferiors, but to be the one who inspires others to find their own 'bestness', after all the true best is the one that can outshine the competition, just like the sun does to the other stars.

That's Itsuko for you, the shining star of gold that refuses to fade and bow, but at the same time serves as the guide to others, as long as they keep in mind that Itsuko is, and always will, be the number one.

Itsuko Mariann Kanzaki, is the only daughter of the former commander of the US military base at Okinawa and the heiress of the Kanzaki zaibatsu, an industrial and financial conglomerate so vast and powerful that it's said that with a snap of their fingers the economy of the whole Japan could be snapped in half at a moment's notice.

To say that Itsuko had a privileged upbringing would be a gross euphemism, specially considering that her parents (as busy as they were) managed to avoid the stereotype of uncaring parents and made their best to be sure that Itsuko was always well. To cope with the huge amounts of time that she had for herself, Itsuko took on the hobby martial arts training and other athletic practices and became a genius when it comes not only to how use her body, but how to use it well.

Has been nicknamed Thunder Thighs by a certain someone, even though Itsuko doesn't know where this came from, she finds it amusing.

Enjoys reading shoujo manga on her free time.

Because of how much physically active she's Itsuko tends to eat impressive amounts of food and it's not uncommon to see her stuffing herself with a snack every now and then.

Tsubaki can be described as a Yamato Nadeshiko, a flower of Nipponese womanhood, having all traits that would make one think of such a cultural model. However, just like the Camellia she's named after, Tsubaki is a melancholic flower who main trait is being beautiful, but unwilling to attract attention to herself. Fundamentally, Tsubaki is deeply scarred by the cold upbringing she had to the point that she once thought of herself as nothing but an object, a vase that was nice to admire as long as you forgot that on the inside it was just a void.

Tsubaki changed somewhat once she started to get in contact with people who seemed to care for her even if as nothing but a guinea pig. A measure of pride had risen on her chest, and today's Tsubaki doesn't care if she's only important to those people as long as they can get what they want from her body, at least this means that she's important somehow. The prospect of living in a boarding school with a body guard looking over her has left some interesting thoughts on Tsubaki's mind, especially doubts about how her future will be and how to relate to other people?

However these answers can only be found by Tsubaki herself and that's the quiet decided to take a step of her own for the first time in her life and see what the world has for her.

Tsubaki survived simply because the hitmen didn't had enough time to check the whole restaurant where her family had gone to celebrate an event that Tsubaki can't record. From there on, Tsubaki lived at state orphanages and temporary homes for years, until a couple years ago or so, when a big pharmaceutical company adopted her to use as the test subject of a top-secret project.

Tsubaki was given the choice not to accept, but she had no reason to make use of it. Her life was worthless anyway, so why cling to it? Well, give it a couple years and the company finally allowed Tsubaki to have a less strict life, even enrolling her at an elite academy and hiring a bodyguard to stay with her 24/7, sincce she keeps on being a valuable and unique subject.

Other:

Tsubaki loves music and is rarely seen without a pair of headphones over her ears, her favorite band is ZHIEND.

Dislikes being touched by unknown people.

Seems to have a trouble with keeping her physique, because she gains weight quite easily. Despite that, she is rarely seen without at least a Pocky stick hanging from her lips.

I'm not too sure if I know what you meant about Itsuko (KoL: *lacks knowledge of that slang*), but she has always been like that, ever since Gakuen, at least. She's party of my Triple Goddesses for a reason.

Same goes for Tsubaki. In fact, these characters (along with Eris) are by best ones ever. Of one day we are allowed to, I'll Lindsay for the first time reunite my Holy Trinity in a single RP.

Maria was... disinterested at how things came around this time, yet upon spotting some of the hunters, including the defiant Highball making motion to leave Iredele, the huntress groaned at how stupid these ones could be.

"May I ask you something?" Maria said in a as disarming tone as she could, "Do you even know where you are going to? Knowing that Paraanon Ravine is to the East of here, but not knowing even where the East should be, or the terrain layout from here to there is like knowing that the area of a circle can be calculated by multiplying the square of its radius times pi, but not knowing what pi stands for. Simply put, it's useless knowledge."

"Now, do yourself a favor and come to my house as well, I'm going to Paraanon after I do something about Sunflower, but if you are so eager to kill yourself by going alone, I can lend you a map and a compass, that's the best support you'll ever find, since I'm the only one around here that owns such items."

With that said, Maria turned to Donny and without saying a word beckoned him t follow her, shouldering Pandora once again and walking away from the all too common scene of the previous massacre. "Ut absolutam gratiam tuam", Maria whispered a silent prayer for the dead, though it was clear that it was a mockery as the acid in her voice showcased.

Once on her house, Maria would first ask Donny to take Lillian to one of the guest rooms and lay her at a decadent but luxurious canopy bed, asking him to leave the room later, saying "I don't think she would like a man to observe her body been stripe as I get some more comfortable clothes for her to sleep in. Unless, you're just that pervert, in which case I don't care in the least, about what you do." Maria then stripped Lillian and changed her into a night gown, since the girl didn't looked like she would wake up soon and sleeping in armor, even if it's leather is very bad to one's health.

Following that, Maria brought a bottle full of a deep red liquid and assured Donny that it was nothing but a tonic, she concocted on her own, that would make the girl feel completely healed an full of energy when she wakes up, before giving a glassful of the remedy (which tasted like strong whiskey, which was actually the solvent used to dilute the medicinal herbs of which it was made) to Lillian and letting her to rest on the bed.

Having done with the nursing chores, Maria left a jar of cold water, along with a silver bowl and a clean towel besides Lillian's bed and went back to the entrance hall, where she turned her attention back to the other hunters. "Here's the map and compass, for anyone who might wants a premature second death", the huntress said leaving the utensils over the counter of the previous inn, before turning to Donny "Ok, now what's it that you want of me? If you want to have some, I'm sad to disappoint you, but I don't swing towards men. In fact, I find the feeling of taking one, impossibly disgusting."

Maria then sat cross-legged at a couch, resting her gear beside it and gazing at Donny with a blank expression as she waited for his answer.
