—“Nestled safely in the mountains at the heart of the Bach Empire, lies the city of Arpeggio, built over ruins of the Old Civilization, this ancient city is also known as the Empire’s Crown Jewel and houses a population of around two million, being the biggest city in the Da Capo continent. This year the grand city will be housing the Battle Royale, the biggest competition in the land, which happens annually at the capital of one of the three major nations both to determine the most powerful Song Knight of Da Capo’s military academies as well as to celebrate and enforce peace during the Liberation Festival. The stage of such tournament will be the Imperial Colosseum, the grand battle arena, sitting between the black rocky cliffs to the west of Arpeggio and the Lorelai River, which divides Arpeggio in three sectors. In about an hour, exactly at 08:00 the competition will begin. For the time being a feeling of anticipation covers the city as the morning mist recedes, but… how long will it last?”

Sienna Aquarian
The thief overlooked the city from the top of an old church steeple which she used as a hideout, indeed Arpeggio was a whole other thing when compared even with the capitals of the other countries. Perfectly cobbled streets, most of the houses where made of stone as well, or bricks, the shinning waters of the Lorelai, singing their melody for all to hear and “The food, you can’t forget the food, always fresh and delicious. Perhaps, should I visit my favorite apple dealer?” Sienna mused to herself.
“Come on, Rin, we’ve got breakfast to catch!” Sienna called her bubbly Spirit, who replied with a cheery “Yes~” before they both leaped out of the tower. Drawing one of her daggers, Sienna played a single note that summoned a blast of snowy wind to slow down her fall, just enough so that she could land safely on a conveniently positioned hay cart, whose destination was no where else than Arpeggio’s Central Marketplace.
Claudia Blair
On a room at an affordable, average quality inn, not too far from the Imperial Colosseum, Claudia Blair was just waking up, sleep still heavy in her features. Claudia is one of the students from Chopin who came to take part in the Battle Royale, her the third time taking part in the competition. Her best position thus far being reaching the Eighth-finals on the previous year, this time Claudia was aiming for the top and no one will be able to quench her flame… mostly.
“Aww! How cold!” Claudia shouted, no doubt waking up half of the inn with her as she tried to wash her face to wake up. “Man, this mountain water is as cold as ice. Well, at least I’m awake now, better get dressed and find something to eat before the tournament begins.” The knight said to herself before dipping further under the shower. A few minutes later and Claudia was already on the streets the look out of a nice place to grab a bite. “Maybe, should I try that maid café they said that is somewhere close to the market? Hmm…” Claudia set on her way to said café, humming a random tune that popped on her head.
Magical Notes
It was finally time, the Battle Royale had just began (all Song Knights had been taken to the Colosseum), the battles would be held in a deathmatch style, each participant being eliminated from the tournament as soon as they lost a match.
To lessen the risk of serious injuries -or worse- happening during the tournament, each duo of Song Knight and Spirit would have a shield spell of identical power cast over them, said shield would get damage as they were hit, once the shield broke a combatant would be declared loser. Furthermore, the fights have a 90 seconds (3 posts for each side) timer, to avoid long, dragged out matches, whoever does the most damage during this time wins.
Also, to protect the public, the whole arena floor is circled by a barrier, though it's very tough it's no unbreakable, thereby attacks intentionally targeting the area where the public is seated are forbidden, doing so will not only disqualify a participant as well as set them under an immediate Restraining Order.
All matches of a given round are held at the same time in one of the separate rings of the arena floor. The Match Pairings, decided randomly, would be the following:

Participants who don't show on the battle arena within prior 15 minutes (01 week from this post) their match time will be considered losers by default.
With the rules of the battle announced, it was up for the Song Knights and their Spirits to show their shining melodies for the eager public.

God’s Shattering
The battle rages on!
“Your challenge is accepted, Knight. You have an admirable devotion to your station”, Tegonay replied to Jessi, “to honor such resolve, there’s no choice for me but to take out the kid gloves. Arondight, awake and pulverize!” As Tegonay called forth the name of his tome, the whole colosseum went silent as an earthquake hit the bloody arena, pillars shattered, tiles broke and the very ground which they stood began to cave in. People began to panic, as the Black Knight began his charge at Jessi, bringing down a sword as heavy as the mountains while a pillar of rock rose behind the spearman, to block his most viable escape route.
“While your qualities are admirable, there’s only one truth in this world, and it’s power. Those who wield overwhelming power are at a whole different level than those who think they can win by determination alone. Now, Knight, taste the true meaning of POWER!” Tegonay blared as once again the soil seemed to burst under his feet launching him into the air to crash down upon Jessi with an overhead smash.

“Heh, too easy, Crow Lady! How many times do you think people tried to stab me in the back before?” Vassagus mocked Letty’s counter, before blocking her icy lance with the flaming shield he had prepared beforehand. “You may have the skills, but you lack the experience and tactics to beat a men whose life was fighting from the moment of his birth.” Vassagus said as he suddenly dropped his center of gravity, falling under Letty’s field of vision in the blink of an eye and using his hand as a fulcrum for a spinning kick, aiming not to hurt, but to throw Letty off balance.
Following that, either his maneuver succeeding or not, the Mercenary Sorcerer used the left over momentum to spring backwards, drawing another magic glyph in the air with his fingers. “Flame of the underworld, I call upon thee. IZUNA!” Upon Vassagus command, a wreath of pale blue fire balls appeared on his back, nine in total. Izuna, the mystic flames of the legendary kitsune. Vassagus caught one in each hand and flung them toward Letty, for the time being ignoring as the world literally crumbled around them.
However, "Ghh! What the!?" Vassagus fell to his knee just as Fei's magic clouded his mind, rapid processing calculations and innate knowledge of magic crumbling under the surprise mental assault. To the Mercenary Sorcerer it was a rather brutal attack. It was just a matter of time before Vassagus could analyze, process and counter Fei's mental interference, but for the time being he was mostly open to attacks, except maybe for the uncontrolled flames of his Izuna spell spinning in wild ellipses around him.
Mikoto Kanzaki
“I always enjoy myself in everything, Ruxy.” Mikoto replied to Ruxen’s grumbling question with her typical million gold pieces smile. When Chen complained about Mikoto’s demonstration of camaraderie, the peddler replied, “Aw~ You hurt me Chenny-boy, you’re just like those people who think I’d rob their underpants if they get close to me. Anyway, I’m waiting to meet this Librarian pal of yours.”
A few minutes later…
Mikoto was lazily walking behind her two companions, her broom securely perched on her shoulder and her backpack firmly strapped to her back, whistling away a merry tune… merrily. When she noticed the strange apprehension of her subordinates, the Peddler Witch stopped in her tracks and asked. “Hey, what’s up with you two? Any potential customers that you may be spotting, Ruxy?” Mikoto asked, twirling broom around, ready to beat a hasty retreat, just in case it was another one of those pesky debit collectors.
Sienna Aquarian & Linea Aquarian
“Oneesama, I think there’s someone here.” Linea pointed to the part of the derelict hull of the ship where Alex was stuck. It seemed to be a section of it, so there was the chance of the others having surviving on the other parts of the dismantled ship. Anyway, they needed to help the one at hand, before moving to search for extra survivors.
“Right, we’re going to try to take you out, don’t move!” Sienna yelled before just shooting a glance at Linea, who replied with a silent nod. “3... 2… 1… Freeze’em!” Suddenly the section of the ship where Alex was stuck began to freeze and crack under its own weight, a second later a huge metallic gauntlet was gripping Alex safely, protecting him from the debris. If he dared to look, Alex would see that an iron golem had him firmly secured in his grasp, placing him beside the Aquarian Twins just as the ship debris crumbled to frozen hunks of steel.
“Are you ok, Alex? If you are feeling bad, we can leave you in a safer place while we look for the others.” Sienna asked, while Linea just nodded, saying, “Indeed, it’s as Oneesama said, Alex.” A moment later, the Twins foxy ears perked as they noticed the voice calling everyone’s names. “It must be that girl who helped us, Oneesama. But how can she know our names?” Linea mused about how they should proceed. “Heh, we have no choice but go there and ask’er, Linea. You take care of here, Alex, we‘ll be back in no time.” And so the Aquarian Sisters set out to find who was calling them with their foxy ears and eyes ready to locate and any on coming trouble.

Please, I promised to not start/take part in arguments, so this is the last thing I'll talk in public about this of you keep escalating the issue needlessly.
Eclipse will not one woman that war, even if @TheWindel allowed us to treat the cannon fodder like... cannon fodder. Mostly because she doesn't want to lose her time right now, if you read my previous post, which I think you didn't, you would have noticed that she made a sizable dent in CC's army already.
Eclipse Princess is made to crush people's hopes under her greaves, like say... Tadakatsu Honda on any Musou game. The whole point of her character is being a powerhouse, though she had no "secret weakness", she isn't undefeatable, you just need a bit of effort to take her down. As for Dark Wraith? I guess I've been mentioning constantly IC that she's an enemy of the Sweepers, I kind of expected DW to know of her, unless there's a serious breach on her hacks.
Anyway, that was the last of it.

PS: This is always an opportunity for your characters to complain to Princess IC, that's pretty much one of the things she wants to happen, since Eris gets off on stirring conflict. But that's IC, folks.

Well, it seems that the post I thought would be cool kind of backfired to some. Let me say that in any moment those enemies were specified to be Boss level, or "raid targets", Eclipse Princess doesn't side with the Sweepers as she made it known more than once, she's above average on her own from the very moment of her creation and her equipment is high end stuff that she got from a mysterious benefactor that Windel approved off.
Even before that she was one/two-shotting powerful foes, and on this particular dissolution she managed to land a full combo (Which is overkill by a sizable margin), so I don't think it's improper of my part to have done that. You guys want your group fight (the reason why I haven't touched the monster you all are fighting), I wanted a big, flashy attack. Both of us can have our things, so what's the problem?

“Wa- wait! She’s not here, I swear, I’m just a decoy. Don’t kill me, damn it!” A Lvl 02 Outlaw, disguised as the Corpse Collector, gripped firmly by the neck on Eclipse Princess’ right gauntlet covered hand pleaded for his life while Princess crunched his HP slowly with the ever increasing force of her grasp. “Ho~? And why should I let you live when you serve me no purpose?” Eclipse Princess asked with a cold voice, impassive to the Outlaw’s plight as she crushed his neck, hearing the satisfactory sound of digital bones snapping, before the Outlaw’s body faded into a rain of polygons.
“Anyway, if the Corpse Collector isn’t here on the battle field, where could sh-“ Eclipse Princess turned to face the Black City, just as the blaring sounds of cannon fire reached her. “Those weaklings, the real target is right under their noses and they are losing time as if this was mere game?” Eclipse Princess gritted her teeth. “I can’t let Moon Rider die, no matter what. Not to some coward’s tactics such as that one.” Eclipse Princess began to make her way back as fast as she could, in the middle of the way, Eclipse Princess noticed the design of the Lvl 05 dissolution.
“Hmph, such an obvious weak spot, tsc! Why don’t they kill it already and focus on the cloud that’s hampering the defenses?” Eclipse Princess sighed before changing her course, “Well, I’m an Ebony Stryker now, am I not? Defending the gates is part of it.” As Eclipse Princess said so, she was right at the Giant Dissolution’s feet, with a mighty leap she landed on the monster’s back and began run up its back, leaving Arms Slave and his Merry Band behind. “You can thank me later, Sweeper Scum, for now saving the guild comes first.” Princess yelled just as she reached the top of the thing’s “head”, kicked it with all her strength and somersaulted, using one of the floating organs as a foothold to jump even higher and further away.

“This is the end!” Eclipse Princess shouted as she completed her flip and began to fall, activating her Icarus Attack, right over the Nube Negra. Eclipse Princess used her free hand to launch her Spatial Collapse, imploding the Nube’s outer layer to reveal the octahedron shaped core that flared with an over a million volts charge. “AHHH!” Eclipse Princess yelled as her blade crashed against the diamond-hard core, invoking her Dark Blade’s active effect to boost the damage even further, until… CRACK! The polygonal core crushed under the pressure of Eclipse Princess’ unique ability of breaking things and she finished her attack, plummeting like a black comet to the Black City’s Ramparts.
As Eclipse Princess crashed on the black wall, undamaged thanks to the Icarus Attack’s ability of avoiding the fall damage, she noticed Cassandra’s reply and read it while going back into the Black City’s castle, but didn’t replied. Long range conversations were futile, after all. Cassandra was allowed her own choices, but she would have to tell them looking on Eris’ eyes, only them it would have any value. Before jumping from the wall, Eclipse Princess shot a… very unique smirk to the Sweepers manning the cannons.
“Hmph, remember this, scum. There’s but one truth on this world... no, on both worlds, and its name is power.” Eclipse Princess deadpanned before walking away, toward the supposed location of Corpse Collector, as she recalled yet another excerpt of the Art of War. ”’In a conflict the direct actions generally lead to a battle and the secret ones, to victory.’ That rat, she almost tricked me…”

She's ok by me, just keep in mind that you have to choose which medium you use for summoning, it can be only one, so either the trombone, or her voice.
