Sᴄʜᴏᴏʟ Cᴏᴜʀᴛʏᴀʀᴅ - ᴀᴄᴀᴅᴇ́ᴍɪᴇ ᴅᴇ ʟ'ᴇsᴘᴏɪʀ
4ᴛʜ ᴏꜰ Sᴇᴘᴛᴇᴍʙᴇʀ, 1917

"Hahaha! Indeed, it truly is," Seyrun said amid a sudden burst of laughter from the mental image that came with Nadalena's comparison. "I can barely imagine how you'd look dressed in Roman-style royal garbs," she added while trying to regain her composure, after her outburst attracted a great deal of unwanted attention.

"It's because of this kind of thing that I really miss you, Nadia."

"Anyway, that's enough talk about Nordland for the time being. There are many more interesting things on the main continent. Like the stories I've read about airplanes. Who would say that machines like that would be perfect this soon?" Seyrun said before pulling a Xargonian magazine whose main story was about the second edition of Myrándais great air fair that happened on the previous Spring. "This seems to be a very entertaining hobby. I wonder if I would be able to fly one of these one day? I mean, it can't be much harder than driving, can it?"
Think of it like gathering "souls" dropped by an enemy in a video game and you are on the right track.
I'll have an update this week as well.

While we don't move, all of you are free to keep posting.

Ok, here she's. Sorry it took so long:

• Name: Arianna "Aria" Aquarian, the Knight of the Squall

• Age: 17

• Gender: Female

• Appearance: A pure-hearted vixen...

• Personality: Aria is most of what one would expect of a holy knight, calm, collected and serious, yet gentle, resolute and loyal. She has these qualities despite the fact that she's yet such a young girl, which in turn means that she isn't very good at being anything other than a knight, being kind of naive, and unsure of how to approach people, mostly thanks to a secluded upbringing. Someone who'll go to great lengths to help others in need without asking for anything in return other than, perhaps a story told beside a warm fireplace.

Or at least, that's how she likes people to think about her. And most would do so... until they get to know her better.

In reality, Aria is brash and fiery. A girl with a sharp adventurous spirit that set around on a pilgrimage to know more of the world on her own. Like most Aquarians, she has a deep interest in reading, particularly in stories of all kinds, as well as more esoteric subjects like astronomy and mathematics, since both of these tend to have a lot of connections with any given culture's legends and history.

• Native/Not?: Native

• Abilities: As suggested by her title, Aria's expertise is a combination of high-mobility swordsmanship and elemental holy magic. Her gift for wind and water-based spellcraft comes as a divine blessing from Laguna, the Platinum Dragon.

To use her magic, Aria needs to recite—more accurately, sing— short verses called Elemental Arias. Amongst Aria's repertoire, her favorite spells are Aegis, Icarus and Nymph's Blessing. The first being a wind barrier to protect her against attacks she may not be able to dodge. The second is a mobility enhancement spell that substantially improves its recipient's agility and speed as well as cushioning any damage from falls. The last one is another mobility enhancer, however, this one improves the recipient's swimming ability while also granting the power to walk on water as if it were firm ground and preventing drowning.

Aside from these generally non-offensive spells, Aria can also invoke elemental based attacks, Aero and Aqua, and holy blessings, like Heal and Divine Grace, which offers passive protection against diseases, poison, and anything else that can compromise her physical integrity as long as Aria doesn't try to push her luck by doing things like walking around in a swimsuit in the middle of Winter.

Nevertheless, she has yet to master the greatest gift at the disposal of any of Laguna's followers, an extremely destructive spell called Laguna Blade which is said to wield the power of the Draconic Goddess breath as a "beam of light that purges all evil".

• History: Aria is the first-born princess of the small city-state of Aquaria, an ancient trading outpost known for its natural beauty and love for education. Despite the chance to live an easy life, Aria decided to follow the path of knighthood, honoring the divine blessing she received from Aquaria's patron deity.

Once she came of age, Aria decided to take a pilgrimage across the land, following her call, while learning about the world and collecting stories about everywhere she goes. Ever since then, she has lived a solitary, yet fulfilling, life of meetings and partings, traveling at the whim of the wind, seeing sides of the world that she could never imagine before.

However, it seems that her fate is about to change...

• Other: Aria's sword is a holy weapon—"Durandal, the Unbreakable Blade of Hallowed Starlight"— it's a heavy, jet-black longsword said to have been forged from the collected dust of the shooting stars that have streaked over the skies of Aquaria for Eons. As the name implies, the blade can't be broken or tarnished by normal means, as such its edge will never dull no matter what it's struck against. Furthermore, as a holy sword, it's very effective against evil supernatural beings like undead creatures.

Considering the extreme durability of her weapon of choice, Aria has a penchant to play with techniques that others would think twice before employing, like edge-to-edge blocks and weapon sundering. If she were ever forced to fight with other weapons, her brash style would likely result in several broken swords per battle.

Also, given how much she loves spending time in the water, Aria always has a swimsuit at hand. Most of the time, she even wears it under clothes, ready to strip and take a dip whenever she can.

Something to help get into the mood...
@AtomicNut

She's ok on my end as well. Just wait for @TheWindel.
@AtomicNut

Mainly so that she can't combine Dispelling with the other powers, since it's pretty powerful in itself.
@Majoras End

Your character is alright on my end, wait for @TheWindel's final words.
@AtomicNut

After a little more in depth thought, it seems like the age of you character idea can work as long as she keeps on being on the good side.

As for the anti magic powers, they are still a cause for concern, but we may allow it instead of outright banning as long as the effect isn't too powerful. Like making sure she needs to concentrate in order to use it, so that she can't combine it with her other defensive abilities and become too tough to harm. Or any other suggestion you may have, that's just one of the ideas.

Regarding her story, she's alright, just weaken that defensive power a little and she'll be ok.
@AtomicNut

Well, there are a few things to address with your idea.

First, I don't think that anyone that old would fit into the story. There's just too much of a discrepancy between her and everyone else for me to see it working.

Second, while healing and barriers are good as long as they are not overdone, anti magic is something I'd like to avoid seeing for obvious reasons.

I'll take a better look at her story later, but these two points just don't work.
There's a thing for the first assembled party, we will have more some time later but you are still free to move about and make things up as you wish.
