⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Zoie Crawford

Location: At the Scene Of The Bitch Fest --> Inside The OR

Zoie kept her mouth shut as Ash turned his attention towards the girl, raising her brows lightly and looking away as the man ripped into her. Seemed she had been the one to start the commotion. As Ash finished she nodded slightly. Alright boss, Isa be inside checking on thangs," she said before looking at Kris and sighing a bit. "Chin up gal, everyone's bound to pop off. Just do as he says and let thangs calm down," she said before shouldering her bag and heading over into the court house.

She checked in with Miss Sally, finding out that Dick was okay and in the back room with one of the viking girls looking over another. Nodding she did some checking on other things, making sure that once Sally was done giving out food that people were assigned living quarters for the evening as boss wanted and that the girls from another era had a patch of grass for their horses. Zoie settled into the whole second in command thing rather easily; people were taking to her without issue. Her smile and funny way of speaking seemed to help put people at ease.

Pushing the door open to the OR, she stepped in; wanting to check on Froggy now that things were calming down and people could start turning in for the night. She stopped in her tracks as she heard the doctor threatened the man from Eden. It was a little shocking to her, she hadn't ever really known Froggy to speak or act that way.

"Well butter my biscuit, seems like everyone be in a right bad mood right now. Who pissed off ya Froggy? This guy?" she asked as she set her things down on the counter along the edge of the wall. Moving over to Victors side she rested her hand on his shoulder and smiled over to him.

"How's about I get this fellow moved over to a cell of some sort so you ain't gotta be standing over him and then wesa can get ya settled in for the night," she said in a soft voice before snapping her fingers. "Oh, you be gettin' a kick out of this, I be second in charge here now. Bossman done be asking and I said yes. Ain't that a trip? Me, in charge?" she laughed slightly, shaking her head at the idea. She had never really ran anything, well except for her household.

Tatiana Korvo

Location: 515 Longview Street, Carrollton, Ga

"Oh a cop..." Tatiana said quietly, it was obvious that she had just gotten a lot more nervous. For her, cops were not good guys that held up the law. She had been used to the Militsiya of Russia, they were corrupt people that were under the thumb of anyone with a big enough bank account. They were not kind, they were not friendly, they did not help. They caused more problems than good and in the end it was better to deal with the filth of the streets than to deal with them. Swallowing slightly she pushed her chair back a little bit, not sure if she should make a break for it or not.

Granted this wasn't Russia or the former U.S.S.R., this was still America and while there were a lot of problems from what she heard with American cops, they were not all bad and Jack seemed okay so far. She just hoped that she wasn't putting her trust in the wrong person right then. Taking a breath she forced a thin lipped smile as she sat there. Hopefully he was one of the good guys, one of those types that were like the cops she would see on TV that were actually there to help people instead of screw them over, she didn't think she could take getting duped right then. She had been through enough for the day with being unable to find her friend Davi.

Shaking her head as he mentioned writing and such she fiddled with the bottle of water in her hands and let out a nervous breath. She was like a bird that was caged right then, not being able to hold still but acting like she was being forced to be. Setting the bottle down on the table she reached down to her bag and opened it slowly. Sticking her hand inside of it she slowly pulled out a pair of worn pale pink toe shoes that had satin straps wrapped around them. Setting them on the table she smiled as her fingers ran over the fabric, remembering how life had been. "No, I ballerina, or vas," she said timidly.

Sana
Location: Gorlf Northern Territory
Interacting With: Keystone

"Sounds like you know about as much as I do about what the hell happened in that place," Sana said with a slight smirk on her lips. She was hoping that he would have known a little bit more than nothing but she couldn't exactly complain at the moment. She had no idea why she kept getting biped in and out of places, how it worked, or how to stop it. She wished she did and had hoped that maybe Keystone would have a little bit of insight but she couldn't badger the man for information he didn't have. Keystone didn't exactly strike her as the type of person that would lie to her about something like that since they both as been stuck there. He might be a bit, okay a lot, unrefined but he wasn't some common thief, right?

Sighing a bit she nodded. "Yeah, well at least that thing came in handy eventually for more than just a meal," she said referring to the cloak she had handed over to him the night before. "Kept your big ass from getting a lovely little kiss from all those flames," she said as they trudged along the muddy road. The rain had stopped but all that had fallen was not dry yet, the road was a mess and probably would continue to be for a few days and that was if the rain held off and the sun came out. If it didn't she had seen places like this turn into nothing but mud hole after mud hole for weeks or even months during certain times of the year.

"So what brings you out here? Kyra said something about helping the merchant across the area, didn't take you for a hired fist for something as mundane as this."

Kyra
Location: Gorlf Northern Territory - Several miles ahead of the main group
Interacting With: Another Newcomer - Yippie?

Luckily for Thomas, this wasn't the first crazed person that Kyra had come across in the last twenty-four hours. In fact it seemed to be the start of her days on this little adventure. At least this one didn't seem to be talking and replying to himself like the last mad person she had run into. Ash whined a bit as Krya stopped and stared at the man, shaking her head a bit. She wasn't even bothering drawing back on the string of her bow or raising it at this point.

"Might want to shut that trap of yours before you bring every orc within twenty miles down on you thinking you are ringing the dinner bell," she said with a rather bored look on her face. Things rarely rattled Kyra and right then she just wanted to get this job done so she could report back to the woodlands on what was and was not happening in these parts. As far as she could tell so far the biggest concern for her Elven family was that the crazies seemed to be more numerous than the Orcs right then; or at least a hell of a lot louder.

"So, let's get this over with. I am Kyra, this is Ash. I will gut you if you try anything without remorse. I'm just in that type of mood. So, who are you, why are you in this area right now, and where are you headed?" she asked rather matter-of-factly. She had a job to do and if this man was heading south towards where the caravan was coming from she would make sure to escort him passed the group before anything else happened. She wasn't about to let them get bombarded by yet another new comer out of no where right then. She felt them getting the wagon through this road was hassle enough at this point.

Granted, seeing the man pass out for whatever reason stopped the questions and she rolled her eyes a bit. "Great, just great," she said in a vexed voice as she stepped over to him slowly. If it was a trick she was going to pull a Sana and skull fuck his eye with an arrow. Pulling back slightly on the string of her bow she kicked at the bottom of his boot a bit.

"Hey, wake up dunerhead!" she quipped quickly as Ash padded around the two, circling the man a bit and ready to jump on him if he tried to hurt his alpha.

Date: Saturday May 13th, 2017

The city is in full swing for a Saturday and it is a little past noon now. Between the repeated reports of what happened with Danica the night before and Lyle's body that morning new reports are coming in of a traffic jam that has been a problem the last hour or two in the city. Seemed there was a fender bender right at one of the main intersections but it is being cleared out. Police are directing traffic and things are moving currently, just at a slower pace than one would normally like, but hey that is Justice. Either people are dropping one right after the other or traffic is so backed up no one can get anywhere to kill anyone. I guess depending on who you are, depends on which is the lesser of two evils.

@DizzyIsabella @Xtreme - Cam is in the doctors office and it might take a while. It is around lunch time and you know of a little bistro just two doors down from the doctors office that you could grab a quick bite to eat at, or even just get something to go and bring it back for the both of you to take on a picnic later. They do wonderful little baskets for couples and have a great wine selection to go along with their menu. Could be the perfect thing to calm nerves after everything that has been happening the last eighteen hours or so.

@Dragoknighte @Nallore - Traffic is starting to let up, seemed there was a fender bend a few blocks up that was causing all the problems. Police have made it out finally, and are directing traffic now. Both of you should be on your way and headed to your destinations without much of an issue right now. It will still take a while to get where you are going, grid lock doesn't clear up right away. The guy on the bus is still blaring his radio and it is obvious that everyone is getting pretty annoyed, especially when he starts singing along and dancing in the isle. Riley, you are ready to hang a right down the street when the light changes and you have to stop, suddenly a homeless man that looks to be in his thirty's rushes out and sprays your windshield with light blue liquid and starts cleaning it with a dirty rag. Hope you have some spare change in the dashboard.

@Pundii - Noelle comes into the room carrying a cup of coffee and holding it out to you. "I didn't know how you took it so I went with the standard two sugar and a little bit of milk," she said trying to force a smile and play the good hostess. Taking a breath she glanced around the room and shook her head. "I don't know what to think anymore. Dad is missing, Peyton is dead, now the house was broken into. And did you hear about that girl Danica? Peytons sister? Committed suicide? It is all just so weird," she said before wrapping her arms around herself and rubbing them gently as if she was trying to push away a chill that ran down her back. There isn't much else to find at this point, at least nothing that is grabbing your attention.

@Scallop - Cops are there, switching off shifts. One of them noticing that you are moving in and such. The man comes over, tailing you a bit before clearing his throat and approaching you fully. "New to the place?" he asked and just exchanges small talk. Seems like he is bored right then, having spent most of the night keeping an eye out on Danica's apartment before his replacement came. Now that they are in place he is waiting on his partner to finish up directing traffic down town before heading over to Boston Heights to pick him up so he can actually go home. Might be able to find out what happened last night, maybe not. Will have to ask to find out.

@Morose @POOHEAD189 Roy sighed as he was told the gun was missing, of course the gun was missing. It just had to be missing, this couldn't have been easy. Shaking his head he rubbed the back of his neck and nodded a bit towards Cecily as she mentioned the security team from last night that had been there. Hopefully they would remember something because it was obvious that they couldn't look at the gun itself anymore. Stopping he looked over towards Cecily and cocked a brow. "Hey, didn't I see you taking pictures last night before I headed up to the roof? Do you have one of the gun before Wallace bagged it?

Risa Couri

Location: The U.N.

Risa smiled over towards Lucas and shrugged a bit as she reached over and rested her hand on his thigh as he drove slowly through the streets of Justice. Normally she would get frustrated with being stuck in any sort of traffic but right then she really didn't care. Just meant longer with Lucas before she had to deal with the folks over at the U.N. "Hopefully the U.N. won't take long and then we can check things out and maybe get a bite to eat," she said as she leaned back in her seat and brushed her hair back out of her face.

The drive took longer than anyone would have liked and by the time they reached the U.N. it was already lunch time. Once Lucas had parked she got out of the car and shouldered her purse as she waited for him to join her. Reaching out and lacing her arm through his as they made their way up the long short steps that were lined with the various flags of the nations that were members of the U.N. Even though it was the weekend there were still people bustling in and out of the building. Didn't matter that it was Saturday, politics never had a day off.

"Can I help you?" the security guard asked as the two stepped up to the reception desk. Risa smiled softly as she rested her purse on the counter and pulled out her ID's.

"I am Risa Couri, new Senior Linguistics Coordinator in from Geneva," she said as the man checked her ID and the list.

"Ahh, yes, they are expecting you Miss Couri, human resources is down the hall, hand a left at the end and go to the end. Can't miss it. They are also expecting you upstairs. Floor Twelve, room 1263 for a quick briefing," the man explained as he finished looked over Risa's identification and handed it back over to her. Lifting a brow he looked over towards Lucas.

"And you are?"

Dj Lawson

Location: Pier 23

Lawson picked at the bed of his nails as he waited for Lana to arrive and gave an odd looked over towards the Mexican as he heard him pull up. This was not what he was expecting and the fact that the old man was down at the docks made him wonder just what he was doing there. As far as he knew, this was his part of town, not a place where security folk or police liked to come. Taking a breath he tipped his hat to the man politely as he stood up straight instead of leaning against the truck any longer.

"Afternoon sir. Just be waiting on a friend that needed to talk is all. What you be doing all the ways down here? You don't looks like you be wanting to go fishing off one of them piers. Granted if ya are, I would suggest against it, ain't the cleanest waters to be going for trout," he said in a respectful voice.

He smiled slightly and looked over as he heard Lana's voice. This was either really good that she was showing up or really bad considering he had just asked out Lorna for a date that evening and now Lana was mentioning the whole cheating thing. Hopefully the Mexican wouldn't take it the wrong way and end up fitting him with a pair of cement shoes.

"Aww, nothing like that darling. Just sayin' hi is all. How are you doin' girl? I head the news story about yer roomie. You alright darlin?"

Alicia Gonzalez

Location: Queensguard Industries RnD Industrial Complex - The Diamond District

While Lorna was taking care of one, Alicia toss the other off the grounds after taking his ID and weapon. She wasn't putting up with anything. Slipping back into the car she waited to see what the other man would do. He did his job, coming over, checking ID's again, checking the car, checking for weapons. Granted with the stuff they had on them it was okay since they were taking over security but at least the man checked. Waiting for Lorna to climb back in and the gate to rise before driving onto the property itself and pulling up to the front.

Turning the car off she got out and gathered her things, leaving the trunk open for Lorna to get whatever she wanted or needed out of the back before locking everything up. "Well, time to get to work," she said as they made their way up the stairs and into the building proper. They were greeted by a couple of people that looked like lab techs. Alicia grumbled under her breath, she wanted to talk to actual people in charge, not some geek right then.

Shaking her head she looked over to Lorna and rolled her eyes a bit. "Okay, I am going to head up to Security Central and start updating the systems. I need you to do a perimeter check. All floors and subfloors. Want a list of blind spots, easy access points and so forth. You know the run down," she said as she pulled out their comms and handed one over to Lorna as she placed the other in her ear. "Stay alert, and armed. We don't know what will happen with the changing over of the guard. If I was going to do a break in, I would do it today."
Welcome to the forum. Finding an anime Rp shouldn't be difficult, the place has many different ones to choose from. Since you are new to Rp, I would suggest stopping by the Articles/Tutorial section and taking a browse; probably help you get a jump start on finding your way around the place and learning the ins and outs of RP.
I wish I had the time to keep up with others. With all the Rp's I am currently Gming, there just isn't enough hours in the day to pick up any others for just reading enjoyment.
The Haunting - Kamelot
Careless Whisper - Seether
If You Could Read My Mind - Stars On 54
Wicked Games - Chris Isaak
Beauty From Pain - Superchick
Take Me To Church - Hozier
Once In A Lifetime - Sarah Brightman
Goldeneye - Tina Turner
The Lay Of Our Love - Tyr
The Sound Of Silence - Disturbed
@Morose Okay good, I don't want to be the only one laughing my ass off over this picturing these two in my head lol
Basically you can do it one of two ways. Either go and join some Rp's and get to know some people before you host your own or just go ahead and type up an interest check and dive right in. For me, over the decades, I have always found it easier to join a few Rp's first and let people see how I Rp before actually starting my own. It lets you build some "cred" with other Rpers and you have a better over all chance of getting an RP to take off once you host it yourself. Like it or not, there are little "clicks" on the forum and people have their ways. So meeting people first tends to work better over all.
Okay, don't know what the rest of everyone is up to with planning out the month time jump but I have to say I am having a blast already working on a post for Jack and Tatiana with @Morose - Too much fun!!!
