⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Kayala Stalack

Location: Koomba Trade Post --> Reporting In --> Wandering Inside The Raven

There was something about mingling with the locals and not so locals that were in the trade post area of Koomba. There was no need for a face, for a facade at this time but yet Kayala still wore one. It was difficult to be ones self when one never had enough down time anymore to truly discover what that was. Today she had picked something a bit more rebellious before she had headed out to pick up a few luxuries. Lynruth Hulfow, a simpler explorer who was born was and raised on the planet. It was the face she most commonly used when in Koomba. It was the simplest and let her mingle with the people. Not only that, being a native made it far less likely for someone to try to swindle her.

Dressed simply Kayala made her way back through the streets towards the Raven. It would be time to get underway and she wanted to get everything stowed away before they took off. She took a deep breath as she swung the small knit sack at her side, it was full of new threads and cloth, something to pass the time during the journey, as well as a few pears; among other things. A small smile crept across her lips as she stepped back aboard the ship, pulling her brunette wig from her scalp and shaking out her blonde tendrils. It was nice to at least that part of the look go. The clothing would remain for now. No need to change, it was comfortable enough and she had no job to prepare for right then.

Making her way through the ship she stopped by her quarters to drop off her bag and stow most everything away. She kept a handful of things. She wondered if the captain was back yet but all that wonder was laid to rest as his voice rang out. Out of her room, she headed for the cockpit. "Someone say mutiny?" she said coyly as she peeked her head in and small smirk played on her lips. From behind her back she pulled out a hairbrush with a small silk ribbon tied to it and rested it right on top of Stehrr's console.

Turning on her heels she called out over her shoulder as she headed down the hall. "Oh, and I'm back. We can leave now." Placing one of the pears she had purchased she took a small bite. Letting her teeth sink into the tender flesh and savoring the simple taste as the flavor washed over her tongue. There were something's that should always be relished, real fruit was one of them. Perhaps that would be the next thing she put to needle point. A reminder to her of the life they were fighting for.

Morgbra Bonwoo

Location: Personal Quarters --> Medical Bay

The day had started out like most any other on the ship for the good doctor. He had woken up and turned up his music within his quarters. Dancing around and singing to himself as he waltzed into the shower to get cleaned up. Most people walked around the ship as if because they were on some massive vessel they couldn't have a good time and had to be a serious and shit. Yeah, that wasn't how the doctor was. He was full of life, more than enough for probably an entire squadron.

Slipping into some rather smooth looking scrubs and decked out rubbed soled shoes he gave himself a sly grin in the mirror before he spun around and started dancing down the halls as he left his room, the door sliding back into place once he was clear of the jam. "Take advantage of tonight cause tomorrow I'm off to Naboo to perform for a princess but tonight, I can make you my queen and make love to you endless. This is insane: the way the name growin', money keep flowin'. Hustlers move aside! So, I'm tiptoein', to keep flowin', I got it locked up like Commodore Cartchri," he rapped as he turned and slid from one area of the Vindicator to the next. Every so often grabbing a female member of the crew and tangoing down a corridor with her before he darted off and kept moving.

The door to the Medical Bay and he was still at it. The soles of his shoes sliding across the floor as his staff turned to look to see who was entering. Slipping over to one of the nurse and took her hand in his. Dancing about as he pulled it to his lips and placed a gentle kiss to the back of her hand, winking in the process. 'Excuse me, excuse me; and I might drink a little more than I should tonight and I might take you home with me if I could tonight and baby Ima make you feel so good tonight cause we might not get tomorrow."

"Doctor..." the woman said blushing madly. "Be serious, please..."

"Who said I wasn't being serious?" he laughed as he shook his head. Morgbra shrugged and let go of her hand but still smiled as he took the datapad she was trying hand him. Looking over it as his feet still moved and his head bobbed to whatever music was going through his mind at the time.

"Seems like everything is in order. So what do you need me for? Other than my charm?"

The nurse simply rolled her eyes and went back to work.

Jesmand Cartchri

Location: The Command Post

Commodore Cartchri had been at the outpost since before the sun had come up on Tatoonie. It was not unusual for her to already be there, having risen far earlier than most. Each day had started out the same when it could. Awaken early, shower, place the uniform she treasured on, slick her hair back into a practical bun, a walk through her ship, and then down to the Command Post to see what new word was in and if any orders had been sent. Granted had any been sent she knew she would have been roused even earlier but what specks of information came in she wanted to review herself; to see if anyone had over looked anything.

Leaning over the most recent start charts and points of interest she studied each one of them as if it was time to prepare for finals at the academy. Each little detail was thoroughly examined and nothing was taken as something that was unimportant until she deemed it so. She head someone clear their throats, her eyes slowly rising to see what it was and when she spotted one of the numerous lower ranks before her she lowed her eyes once again and went back to her task at hand. The man held in a sigh and cleared his throat again, this time Jesmand ignoring him completely.

"Captain."

"Commodore." Her voice was flat and firm as she said the single word.

"What?" the man said confused.

"You will address me as Commodore."

"But aren't you the Captain?" he asked nervously, wondering if this was a test. Jesmand let her chin drop and touch her chest as she sighed before standing up fulling and taking a deep breath.

"A captain can be a rank or an assignment position. I hold the rank of Commodore, you will address me as such. Or would you perhaps rather take a walk outside of the airlock, when we are in deep space?" she asked as she looked back down at the charts and made a few marks on them.

"Yes Ma'am. Sorry Ma'am. Commodore Cartchri. We have a new report in," he said handing the datapad over nervously. Reaching out she took it from his hands before he turned and darted back off to his post. Taking a look over it she perked a bit of a brow before setting it down next to the charts and sitting down slowly in her chair. This wasn't exactly expected but things were hardly the norm anymore. Leaning back in her seat she glanced around the room, going over the information she had, what little it was in her mind.

Tapping her finger along the edge of the table before rising and giving out a command. "Alert the crew, prepare for departure," she ordered as Targon entered the room. Stepping over to him she nodded politely. "Targon."

"Don't ya be shittin' me! Seriously?!?! Fuck yeah! Right!, Okay, thanks bye!" Claire hung up the phone call and stood there for a minute before dancing around in place and squealing in delight. Several of the patrons turning around and looking at the crazed Irish woman confused as she shoved her phone back into her pocket and dashed towards the table. Coming up behind Joel she flung her arms around him and hugged him tight, giggling like the deranged before she flopped down in her seat.

"Ey's a got me a fight!" she exclaimed, giddy as all get out. The smile on her face bright and reaching ear to ear as she did the cabbage patch in her seat. Claire always got like this when she found out about a bout her manager was able to set up for her. Granted, she was supposed to be in India to relax and spend time with her brother and her bestie but hey, a few hours of scraping in a ring wouldn't take away from all that in her mind. She knew Murphy would like to see her fight and Cass had been to plenty of them with her. They usually went out partying afterwards. It was always a lot of good fun in her mind, no matter how bashed up she was in the end.

"Week from today at the Shri Ram Martial Arts School Of India! Gots me a little rumble!" She couldn't help but laugh as their food was brought over, the waitress wondering if she had lost her mind. She had in a way but she didn't care. Picking up her fork she didn't even bother to look at her plate as she shoveled in a mouthful and began to chew. Then suddenly she stopped, her eyes widening as she grabbed her glass of water and started gulping it as she broke out in a sweat. Swallowing hard she gasped for breath.

"Sweet Fucking Mary and Joseph!!!" she coughed out.

Tasha leaned back in her seat and just smirked at Murphy as he sat there pulling bits of cereal off his cheeks. Grabbing a napkin he wiped the majority of it away but it was obvious whatever she did it was not going to deter him from finding out exactly what was going on. This was not exactly something the young doctor wanted to get into with him or anyone for that matter but Murphy had seemed to take it on himself to be her personal project to get her to open up more and more. Pulling his chair closer to the table and leaning in he tossed the milk and cereal soaked tissue in the bowl and cocked a brow in her direction.

"Come on, spill it lass," he said waving his hand front of him a bit and circling it around. Tasha shook her head and looked away from him but it didn't stop him. He wasn't letting her get out of this one. Sliding his chair over to her he got in her face. "Tasha..."

"What?" Turning her head she looked away but Murphy wasn't having any of that. Reaching up he placed his finger to the side of her chin and turned her head back towards him.

"Tasha."

"Murphy?" she questioned flatly as she knocked his hand away and went to stand up but Murphy got a bit more handsy than he had in the past with her and curled his fingers over her shoulder, shoving her back down in her seat. "Ugh, ass," she spat as she pulled his grip off of her and flung his hand away. Every time she tried to get up or turned her head away from him he did the same. Either she was going to knock him out or spill it in rage. Either way, he figured it was better than the cold silence and it eating away at her from the inside.

It took a bit of time and a lot of stubborn Irish prodding but Tasha eventually agreed to talk. Sighing she leaned forward in her chair and let it out. "I met Lincoln when I was an intern..."

The story was not something that Murphy had been expecting from Dr. Glacier. Even though he knew she was caring underneath the cold exterior the way she spoke about the new arrival surprised him. She was warm when talking about him, about how he had made her smile and made her stop thinking about the worry of work and school, actually getting her to relax during her down time. That was until he proposed. She was wrapped up in the moment and had said yes but afterwards she started having her doubts. A lot of doubts. Eventually she had broken it off and after that refused to speak with him. It was too hard. Thinking back on it and speaking about it caused her eyes to well up and she shook her head, trying to push it back down.

"But that was then. This is now."

"Riiigggghhhttt...... So what's he doing here?" Murphy asked as he handed her a clean napkin, Tasha took it and dabbed the moistness from the corner of her eyes, shrugging some.

"Doesn't matter," Tasha mumbled under her breath. What did it matter? It seemed that her and Dominic were starting something and the last thing she needed was to get caught up in the past. Shaking her head she got up, Murphy not doing anything to stop her this time, and walked off. Stepping out into the hallway and towards the front desk.
I've heard of using protection before but...
Go fix the leak under the sink before you leave.
@Mateotis That really just boils down to experience and getting in the zone. Sometimes it takes me hours to form a post that is barely 2 paragraphs, sometimes I can easily crank out 10k+ character posts in under an hour.
@Caits lmao, sorry about that. Nope, you're all good, ^^
Maybe he can work it in as a character quirk. Keeps confusing the sisters' names. He's an older guy, angry a lot. Mere details shouldn't slow his rant.

Plus, there's this:
