⚘ A Brief History ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.
Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.
⚘ Looking Inside ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.
Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Okay people, we are done with that round. Initiative is over at this point. We return now to our regularly scheduled counters. (Starting at my most recent Kyra post) - If anyone wants to start a new initiative, just tag me here to start it.

Kyra, having unlaced her bow earlier sprang to her feet as she saw her Keystone move. The man had been running his mouth all too much for her liking but she wasn't going to put an arrow through him, least she didn't think she would. Though she knew that laugh from Sana, it never ended well. The woman always ended up doing something when she went off half cocked and fully enraged; which for Sana meant that creepy laugh of hers. Her food fell off her laugh as she rose, drawing an arrow from her quiver as it was nocked into place, pulling back on the string. She hadn't taken aim yet, if she fired she wanted to fire true and have a target worth the wasted arrow. Thing was, as the split seconds ticked by it seemed that things were not going down the way she had thought they would have.
She half expected Keystone to try to rip the mans throat out and Sana to put an arrow in his eye socket. (Sana hadn't gotten the nick name skull fucker because of laughs.) Yet as she watched Sana come up behind Thomas it was obvious that Sana's target was not Thomas but Keystone and as Sana's lips pressed against Keystones' her jaw unhinged. Thomas, thankfully or not (yet to be determined the feelings of the group on this one) was able to tuck and roll out of the way and ended up at her feet as she relaxed her pull back on her bow. Opting to keep the arrow nocked where it was just in case she just kept staring at Sana for a moment unable to blink.
Hearing Njat and Cyneburg speak up she looked over to them and shrugged a bit. "Big mouth ticked off big tempers?" she said glancing towards Thomas and then to Keystone. Letting out a little huff and blowing her bangs out of her face she looked at Satilla. "This is going to make for some very angry children," she said in all seriousness before looking back towards Thomas. "You good sir might want to seek enlightenment that helps you not get attacked by those trying to protect you," she added in a bit of a huff as she slowly glanced around towards the Orc's in the camp. Each one eying them intently with their hands on their weapons but they hadn't moved yet and she grimaced at the tension in the air. It was going to be a long night.
@SouffleGirl123 No worries, hate to see you go from the rp but if it helps make things a bit easier for you, then by all means. I can just shelve your character and if you want to join back up later on when you are feeling less weighted down, the door is always open. ^^
@Morose I will most likely be posting like everywhere today and tomorrow since I have my daughters party on Sunday and I will be swamped. (Already started decorating.)
@Dragoknighte I will be making a post today later on for Kyra since she is still on hold for this round as well as doing any rolls needed from the last posts since Poo's. Then we will proceed.
@The Grey Dust Okay, calling you out on a couple of things - making the statement and then ending it in a :P - well that is just uncouth. Two, rolls are made after actions are declared, not before. Three if you had been waiting you should have tagged me to Sigil to ask BEFORE you posted because when you posted the next persons timer started and you wasted 25% of their posting time waiting on you. No excuses, apologize to Rivaan for not following the rules and to Sigil for the attitude.
