I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned. Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol. ⚘ Looking Inside ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it. Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Okay, working out some details and such to bring in Morose's new character. Once I pm her the details I will be posting again most likely. If only to bring in her character. Not sure if I will update the London folk today or not, just gonna depend on how quickly I get other things done with Rp's today. (I gotta sit down and force myself to finish coding another RP I am starting.)

@Buddha Oh agree with you there. The fact the mods only pick and chose what to deal with is a huge problem, as well as their inactiveness. (Which frankly is maddening...) With the amount of people on the forum, we do need more mods and ones that are active. They need to be changed out if they are inactive. It probably wouldn't hurt for Mahz to implement a Mod Staff Leader, who for lack of a better term - Mods the Mods. Those that aren't doing the job are demoted. When we need more, they take care of that. (Which actually it probably wouldn't be a bad idea for this topic and topics like it to be tagged for Mahz and the rest of the mods. With as little as we see some of them, it needs to be brought to their attention that people on a larger scale see this and notice it. For all we know, most of them don't even have an idea this is going on because it gets lost in the shuffle and when they show back up nothing is being said.)
On a side note - I would love to see the forum get away from the Free, Casual, Advanced sections - Those really don't work. Everyone has their idea of what needs to go where and while it was probably good to start, the paragraph layout for what is what just isn't enough right now. All Rp's I host are in Casual which really throws a lot of people off because of the amount of time I put into each RP. (The layouts, the cs's', paragraph requirements, the rules, etc.) But I keep them in casual because I look at my Rp's as more of a mid level teaching experience. Rp's for people wanting to improve. It's a place to screw up and learn. All though be it harshly at times, well who's kidding who; most of the time because I'm an Evil GM Overlord.
So as long as people are learning and wanting to put in the effort, I remain in the casual section. - Tag based for me would be better. Even the table top and nation areas need to be bled away just because there is so much cross over. Right now I am developing two new Rp's. One would be considered Table Top: A Shadowrun RP that will use stats, dice, and the Handbook for character creation. The other one would be considered Nation: Viking Village Rp where you control villages and try to expand your territory, make alliances, fight wars, and actually deal with the lores of the Gods. Where will they go? Casual. Why? Because they will still be run as a learning experience RP and will be character driven.
Okay, went on a tangent there - but yeah. We need in general just a good group of active mods that enforce things.

I just want to take a moment to gush about 1 Rper - @Nallore
I have been Rping with this Taco Hunter for the last year and she has been in many of my Rp's. When she first joined I wasn't sure what to think. Especially when a certain character did a certain thing. (She knows what I am talking about - and don't you dare throw your leg at me woman! LOL)
Over the last year she has grown by leaps and bounds as an Rper. Her context, amount of detail, way of working her characters, and dedication to the Rp's she is in - all of it an more have taken her from just being your average Rper to part of my Triple S Peeps. (Seal Team Six) ^_~
It has been a pleasure and an honor to be able to watch this growth and I could not be prouder of the progress she has made. It has truly been a joy to witness.
