⚘ A Brief History ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.
Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.
⚘ Looking Inside ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.
Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Being Rpers, many of us use TV, movies, song lyrics, books, etc. to either give us inspiration or to keep us on track for a post. So what are some of yours that you use that may be helpful to others?
For me, this is one I always go back to...
No. My lady, I am a hero, and heroes know that things must happen when it is time for them to happen. A quest may not simply be abandoned; unicorns may go unrescued for a long time, but not forever. A happy ending cannot come in the middle of the story.
Anytime I want to push a story to go faster than it should because I am excited, or for a romance to unfold prematurely this is what I turn to. It reminds me to let things unfold naturally and let what happens happen. Pushing things is no good. Wait for the right time, savoring the journey makes the ending that much sweeter.
It also reminds me that even when I get bogged down, am not enjoying an RP as much as I used that I need to push through that. That I shouldn't just abandon it. Keep moving forward even when it's hard or even just down right unpleasant. If I keep at it, chances are it will get back on track and seeing it through to the end will be well worth it.
Alright, day 7 peeps. Those on day 7 counters, get those posts/collabs in TODAY! Will do an update tomorrow with ~update cases~ based on where you leave off at or just updates in general. 14 day group, you are in the clear for another 7 days so no worries.

@Morose Ahh, wouldn't do that as a face claim. Sigil has been long working on one for him for various Rp's for later. So that one is already claimed across the board in my Rp's for Sigil LOL - Believe he is related to Foy in one way or another.
Sunie leaned back in her seat and sighed a bit before pulling off her welding mask and tossing it onto the work bench. She had made a few calls that day to try to get supplies, put orders in for what she could and rushed everything that was to be shipped. The smithy still was not sure if she would get everything she needed in time to finish what Flo wanted within five days but she was trying.
Once that was finished she had gone to work on various jobs she already had had on her calendar that were due in the next day or two and even called a few clients to see if they would be willing to push back their pick up date. None had taken the offer she made so she was stuck with what she could do. It would be a long next few days but hopefully it would pay off in the end.
Lola and Sana had stopped in for a few minutes to let Sunie know how their day went before heading out. Sunie doubted she would see them again tonight and probably wouldn't until tomorrow morning. It was for the best. They made her work go slower. To help at least some she had closed up shop to keep anyone else from coming to bother her. The shop would remain ~closed~ until she was done, she had enough orders and anyone that was not stopping by to pick up could wait at this point.
Standing from seat she walked over to the basin and splashed some water on her face. She hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch due to work. It was time to at least take a small break, go out and get something to eat. Sure she could keep pushing herself, a days worth of skipped meals didn't hurt every so often but she didn't want to let hunger get the better of her. Picking up her keys she slipped on her jacket and stepped out of the shop. Making sure to lock it up tight and set the alarm before heading down the road to see if she could find something that struck her fancy in the edibles department. Lighting up a cigarette she strolled down the street glancing around.
