If things get real bad and you have to resort to cannibalism remember: Vegans first, they are the closest thing to grass fed.

⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

You'll know when I update.
@FantasyChic Ugh, I totally forgot. You can bring her in this round if you want. You know the general descript for the Lady Luck, as well as various other parts of town. If you want just pick one and jump in. Or you can wait and I can add in a refresh of the Lady Luck.
@rivaan Oh he would reach it by now I would think, unless he trips and falls into some elephant dung that is LOL
Okay, update is up. If your portion is not there, it was sent via pm.

Prometheus/Docks: Anisa made her way back up to her quarters and started to unpack her belongings. It was normally something she would have put off until they were back in the black but right then she was waiting for Foy and Dorothy to get back and get an update on the person that had supposedly been on the ship. She needed something to pass the time and there really wasn't anyone on the ship currently she wanted to sit down and speak with. Jackson had usually been the person she vented to, relied on to to unwind and discuss anything. Yet running over the crew in her mind now, she didn't have that anymore. She half wished Gene was still on board, at least she could talk to her but they had parted ways and it was for the best. At least for this new crew.

Atticus in the mean time was having a good time of it. He had been given the clear to go through some of Camilla's things before they had sold the Vengeance and he had acquired some new things that go boom from the woman's arsenal. Why a preacher enjoyed blowing shit up was anyone's guess but it was one of his guilty pleasures. Maybe it made him feel like god. Boom! And there was light! No one seemed to know why he did, hell he didn't even really know himself. It was just one of those things he had always enjoyed and had a talent for. His poor school when he was young found out the hard way. The memory of his history professor coming out of the bathroom with his face covered in soot and a toilet seat around his neck as toilet paper rained down from above was one of his fondest memories. Was also the day he got expelled.

The doctor was on a more serious note than the preacher. He had decided to not unpack yet and was setting up the med bay. Something about having a fully cleared out med bay to stock, the way he wanted it, where he wanted things, made him feel like he was an actual doctor again and not just some puppet following orders. He had actually enjoyed his time with the Alliance and he still had a few ideas up his sleeve to do with what the Alliance had sent him to the Retribution for but right then, he had his own personal med bay to get ready. Yet the man looked nothing like a doctor, still in his suit, even if his jacket was hung neatly over a chair and his hat rested with it. He looked more like a high paying patient that refused to put on a gown than a doctor but the man knew his trade and as he started going through the two crates he had brought up so far he began making mental notes of things he needed to get before the took off.

Toy Shop: Royus looked down at the board game and then back at Fitz. The boy seemed to like the chose the old man had made. There was a tag for price on the top of the box, a rather high price at that. Was that because it was an actual relic from the Earth that was? Perhaps, it did seem old enough to be that even if it was in wonderful condition despite the dust that hung to the corners. Reaching over Royus took the tag in his fingers and pulled it off carefully as to not disturb the artwork on the case. "It's been paid in full," he said as a small smile came to the elderly mans lips.

Tucking the tag in his pocket he gave Fitz a bit of a wink. "A gift for spending time with an old man," he explained. Fitz seemed out of place in this world around people but he was trying. Royus had no idea what the man would end up doing once he left the store but he at least wanted Fitz to know that actually trying did have its rewards and it had been ages since anyone had taken any time out of their day to spend time with him. Oh he spoke to people, customers wanting this and that, yet none of them seemed to appreciate the actual art and skill that went into the toys and games they purchased, none wanted to bend an old mans ear. Fitz had done both and perhaps restored a little of the agings cynics faith in humanity.

West: You know how they say that certain cities you can tell when you leave one part of town and are in another just by changing streets? This is one of those times. A single block west of the Merchant Area and there is an old set of tracks laid into the road that doesn't seem to have been used for many years. Perhaps it was part of the city long before it grew into what it is today? Either way you now know what they mean when they say "someone is from the wrong side of the tracks." these buildings are not in nice clean rows. They are built up, like shanties that are hanging there and waiting to fall. The clothing those to the west are wearing are faded and frayed. They are dirty, they look at you as if you are out of place.

People sitting in windows above the streets look down and one has to wonder how these shacks are actually not falling in on themselves. The roads in this part of town are not clear cut, in fact it feels more like you are trying to wind constantly down alleyway after alleyway. If one is not careful they could easily feel like they were stuck in a labyrinth. Thankfully the buildings, while much higher than the merchant area do have breaks between them for many feet at a time. A quick check every so often and you can probably figure out at least if you are facing north, south, east, or west. None of fronts of the buildings seem to have doors, just open archways and curtains, most of which are pulled back. There is no clear cut signs either to tell you what a shop is, a place to is, or a home is. It just all seems to run together. It obviously wasn't set up for ease of tourists, just must be something known by the locals that are forced to live there. The smell of sulfur though is strong in this area, seems most of those that live there work the mines on the planet.
@FantasyChic Quick question - doing the update but Mai's header. Says she is heading towards the docks but going west which is towards the poor part of town. Which one do you want me to use? Heading towards the docks, which would be south, or west, which is the poorer part of town?

Edit: Ugh reread it, I think I see where you are going with this. Why I didn't the first time I have no idea. Typing the update now, if there is any issue just let me know and I can edit it if I got it wrong. LOL
@mnkee lmao, know the feeling. I swear I learn more researching for characters skills than I ever learned in school.
@Majoras End Thank you for the interest in this RP but I am sorry, currently we are full and are not accepting new Rpers, as per stated above. Please feel free to apply next time the Rp is set to Apply.

*Quick Note: Color codes for location headers will denote time of day basically. Not so much tie of day but look for matching ones to see if you are in the same ~time frame~ as others.

La Hacienda: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico : Natasha didn't want a part of this and it seemed like things were only going to get worse. She was glad when it was time for them to go inside. The doctor zipped her lips and moved quickly to follow Benecio. "Gracias," she said to the man as they headed towards where Natasha and Cecily would be staying. It was pretty obvious she was thanking the man not so much for showing them their room but for getting them away from that very awkward situation. Looking around their room once they got there she thanked the man again.

Finding a seat she sat down and let out a long huff. "Well that was interesting," she muttered to herself. She figured it would probably be a good idea to unpack at least a little bit and get settled but she really didn't have it in her just then. She had wanted to say more about the child and offer to have a look at the baby but with her just now starting to heal the last thing she needed to do was to be closely exposed to a child with a cold. Her immune system probably couldn't handle yet but she had to go and open her big mouth that she was a doctor, so if something went wrong and there wasn't a pediatrician near by she knew she would have to just suck it up. She was tired of sucking it up.

Maria eyed Caesar and waited for the area to clear away before stepping closer to him. The baby on her hip clung to her slightly, looking over towards Caesar with rather bright blue eyes. A trait not common to the family but the dark hair and small curls were completely those of a Gonzales. "Oh no, the baby isn't mine," she said as she looked down at the baby. "And no you wouldn't have, one wasn't sent out for this birth," she added before adjusting the baby and cradling it in her arms as if she was about to hand the child off to Caesar.

"This is Illiam Caesar Hannibal Keystone Gonzales," she said as she introduced the boy, holding him out slightly towards the gruff looking patriarch of the family. "Your grandson. We call him Liam."

Diamond District: Zoie stepped over to the window and watched the mannequins for a moment before Mali spoke up. She chuckled a bit. "None taken, come on let's get you something that fits better," she said before slipping her arm through Mali's and leading the way, even opening the door for her girl. Zoie knew they could easily be under someone's eye right then and she wasn't about to let her guard down for anything.

Zoie had half worried that Relic was going to get out of the car but thankfully he stayed put. Marc on the other hand stood there by the Limo, ready to just wait on the girls. Zoie didn't want him out in the open. "Oh driver, do be a dear and return promptly at 4 pm, in front of Bistro St. James. Have the car detailed while you are away," she said before waiving him off and heading into the store. Marc nodded quickly before rushing to the driver door. He was pulling off by the time Zoie finally stepped into the store. He wasn't about to question it, it would have been out of place for one and two he figured Zoie had a reason for sending him off. He wasn't too terribly worried though, he figured Zoie and Mali would be a much better pair if something went down than he and Relic would be. Sure Relic could hack anything but in a fight he knew the boy to be useless.

Inside Zoie looked around, eying one of the women that worked there and snapping her fingers at the middle aged woman. "You are to tend to her as if she was me, do you understand? Anything she wants, you get it. I don't care if it means sending someone to another store to find it," Zoie said in a flat authoritative tone. She wasn't about to have this woman treat Mali any different than if it was herself there shopping for personal clothing. Smiling brightly over to Mali she gave the woman a slight wink. "Let's have some fun."

Justice Asylum: Cratty kept watching Jaina and wondering just how off the woman was. She obviously was crazy, but there was something more going on. Why did she kept switching over to Russian? Was that just more insanity or were the subtitles they needed hold some meaning? It was worth a try. "I don't think so, no yet. Seen patients do a lot more damage to themselves, how about we find a translator," Cratty suggested before looking back over at Jaina.

"Now girl, we need to go to commercial break. Which means it is time for a snack. Hungry? Of course you are. Probably want something better than that god awful breakfast they forgot to bring you. You just tell Nurse Cratty what you want to eat, other than my soul, and we will go fetch it for you. That's only though if you promise not to make yourself bleed anymore while we are gone," Nurse Cratty said as she stood there and crossed her arms over her chest. It was odd the nurse seemed to be able to balance being compassionate with the patient and firm, while delivering options and sarcasm. The woman obviously had been at this gig a long time, Cratty had to wonder to herself if it was time to retire.

Gun Range: "Longer than I care to admit girl," the man said with a laugh.

"Which means anything longer than a day to Beni here," Roy said quickly with a smirk.

"Hey I thought you liked me!"

"I'm a cop, not your friend," Roy said before chuckling and shaking his head some. "Beni here isn't bad, just don't let him out one of his tin foil hats on you," he said to Riley, he was joking of course but there was meaning behind his words as his eyes traveled to the various posters on the wall denoting tons of outlandish conspiracy theories and even a few about Big Foot.

"You have to say that because they're listening," Beni said in all seriousness before looking over to Riley. "We better do what we're supposed to do before the black suits come in," he whispered before straightening up and pulling over some papers. "Yes, a permit. If you will fill these out and then place your finger prints here and here," he said as he flipped open an ink pad and pointed to the open spaces at the bottom of the permit forms.

"We all get put in the system sometime," Beni added in a disgruntled whisper. Roy could only roll his eyes.

Justice Memorial: Dr. Chang nodded a bit. "That is too be expected. You had a lot of trauma to your head, even besides your eye. Short term memory will be affected for sometime. It should come back slowly. Probably in spurts to start with that don't make sense, then you will get more detail as time goes by. Somethings you might never remember," she said as she sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Which in your case could be a good thing. From what I saw of the report and was told after the surgery, you might want to want to remember a crazed woman gouging your eye out with a crayon. I know I wouldn't," she said rather matter-of-factually. Looking over at his IV drip she nodded once again. "Yes, your pain meds would be wearing off right now. Some surgeries we just keep at it for a couple of days afterwards but others we hold off until the patient asks. We were not able to save the eye as you can most likely tell but we were able to save the nerve endings. This will cause some pain for a few weeks while you heal but on a good note, it does mean that you are a prime candidate for a transplant later on. So there is hope that you won't be walking with half your sight for the rest of your life."

Looking over at the food she smirked. "Well, it might not be tasty but it is nutritious. Will be a lot easier on your system than stuff you would make for yourself or buy on the street. Now if you have any intestinal discomfort, you need to let the nurse know at once. You won't be able to be discharged until you go. And I mean sit and go... You get what I am saying?" she said as she perked a brow. "Or do I need to explain in greater detail?"

FBI Headquarters Justice: Special Agent Collins put his feet up on his desk as he began to eat his lunch. Delivery Chinese, as per usual. A set of chopsticks poked at the dumplings he had ordered. He was hungry and needed to eat but his mind kept going back to Special Agent Tinder. The man really needed to call him back.

Down at the front desk, security was tight, as to be expected. Metal detectors, various agents armed at the entrance, and so forth. Spotting Priya as she entered, a tall African American man in a black suit eyed her from behind the main desk in the foyer. "Please tell me you are Detective Khurana?" he said in a suave voice as he adjusted his black tie and came around from behind the desk. "Special Agent Moreau, I was sent down by Collins to come escort you upstairs," he said as he motioned over towards the line standing for a security check. "You will need to show your id, relinquish any weapons and such. Then go through out version of the TSA search," he said with a broad grin. "Don't worry, we have more manners than they do."

Thana Martin

Location: Medical Garden (10)

Thana took the notebooks and flipped through them quickly, giving them a cursory once over before shoving them in the back of her pants at the belt. They were something she would look over thoroughly once she had come up with her own way of doing things. It wasn't that she didn't trust what James had done, he obviously had done a decent job thus far considering how many people they were feeding. It was something else. Thana never liked getting input on things or information until she came to her own conclusions. She didn't want to be influenced one way or another about something she had a thought about before she was able to fully form a plan in her head. Then she consulted other information and adjusted as she saw fit. Plus, she needed to make this job her own, not have her just be a continuation.

Looking over at Ash she nodded a bit. "Then if you would be so kind Sir, lead the way." Her voice was clam and even as she spoke. She was pretty sure she knew how to get back to the Agricultural storage on her own. The place was large enough but it wasn't like it was complicated. Yet, she knew there wasn't going to be much for Ash to really do while he tagged along with her other than giving her directions and doing what menfolk were good for - carrying heavy shit so she didn't have to. It wasn't an elitist thing but she knew Ash needed to try to keep his mind moving and if he was left to do nothing, it could make things rougher in the long run. Staying busy was a good way, to a point, to deal with stress. If he was seeing things the last thing she needed was his mind left to fully dwell on it. Stepping over to the door she opened it and stepped out before waiting for Ash to join her so they could lock up and head onto their next destination.

Lola Holler

Location: North Of Newnan (Spring & St. Clair)

Lola didn't like the idea of meeting up with this guy who had obviously dropped some really bad news on her only friend left on the planet but she figured that Thalia wasn't going to turn away from getting information on the very people she had been holding out hope of finding for years. And like she could tell her best mate no? Seriously, what kind of person did that? Other than a rationally thinking one that knew this could be nothing more than a trap. Well obviously, Lola wasn't exactly rational when it came to things.

Sighing she stood up and slowly opened the hatch more before popping her head out and eye balling Alexander. Keeping her voice hushed, well hushed for her; which actually more like a drunken person trying to whisper. "Listen pops, we heading out soon. Don't know where, don't know what'll happen. For all I knows this spotted dick is going to try to guts us. So, if your out, jump off now. If your in, climb in and grab a seat," she said rather matter of factly before dropping back into the tank.

Giving Thalia half a glance she sat down and watched the woman. "Come on, let's either gets a move on or tell him to fuck off. Either way, don't want to be sitting here with our asses hanging out," she said quickly. If they were going to meet up, then now was the time. If not, then she wanted to get a move on. Sure they were in a tank but stopping in the middle of the road to have a phone conversation wasn't the smartest thing to do, even she knew that.

Tatiana Korvo

Location: The Newnan's House (Building F)

Tatiana shook her head towards Ray. "You are good. This is vhat you here for unless Jack vants you to leave," she said, supporting Ray being there. If Jack wanted him to leave, that was something else but if this was concerning the town and how people were, he needed to hear it as well. Looking over to Jack she cocked a brow as he started speaking. Her face showed some concern but it was only there for a moment before she started giggling lightly and stood up. Carefully, trying to keep the weight off her foot she hobbled over to her husband and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly.

"You so silly, no lock you up. Normal to hear voices after tragedy. You do better than Ray, he sav cat carrying his leg. Think you are A okay, top notch," she said as she leaned back and gave him a bright smile. Running her hands up his shoulders she took his cheeks gently in her palms. "Something to talk about yes but I vould not vorry yet. So, let us sit down and talk," she said as she motioned over to the couch.

Letting go of her husband she smiled over to Ray as she took a seat in the chair across from the couch and let out a slow breath. "Nov ve all talk. You see thing, you hear thing. Both just sav something horrible. Lost friends. It hurts. I am hurt, James like uncle. Vish I could have stopped Sana, I ask myself vhat I miss? Hov could I have saved her? I can't change thing now but vork harder so others don't hurt. You both seem to knov vhat you sav no real. This is good. If you thought real, then I worry. When ve hallucinate we are conjuring up our fears. Tell me, vhat do you think vhat you sav or heard is trying to tell you? Vhat are you truly scared of, deep dovn?" she asked softly as she sat there.

Froggy looked over at Riley and sighed. "Yes, she is gone. No can save her, she is resting now. No more pain of this world," Froggy said sadly before making himself straighten up a bit. He was trying not to look as defeated as he felt inside. They still had work to do, people to take care of, they needed to be there. Sadly for the medical crew there wasn't a lot of down time because even when they didn't have patients right in front of them, there were still things they needed to prepare for.

"No need, just check out at back gate. Leads usually give assignments. Sometimes people just leave for a walk, being cooped up all the time isn't good. Go get a bag, some supplies for the run, weapons for defense. It's only a short ways, in and out. After you all get back, I want you to go one at a time to speak to Tatiana or Ray. Riley, why don't you go with your sister, Niesha, and our newest member Ravi here. Safety in numbers," Froggy suggested.

Gavin & Ryan

Location: Near 545 Corinth Rd, Newnan: In the woods. (Not far from the Coweta County Water Authority)

Gavin and Ryan listened as James answered the phone. Ryan cocked a brow, okay, he wasn't hearing things. That was good. Maybe he hadn't seen anything earlier either? No, he knew what he saw, what he heard from his brother. Okay, so maybe he was only half crazy. Maybe Bea was going nuts too? Leaning in he gave her an odd look. "Um girl, you hearing things? He didn't tell no one our location..." Ryan said quietly. He was right, James hadn't told the person on the phone where they were. He had only said they had come from Newnan. Sure that might have given an idea but this was Georgia and if you left Newnan, you could go north, south, east, west. There were a lot of directions they could go. He didn't tell the person what direction they had left Newnan, how long ago they had left, what road they were on. Nothing.

Irish did want to know what was up though, granted he really didn't care what they did. He had come along to have James back, whatever the man did. James was the one that was exiled, the rest of them were just tagging along and chose to leave by their own accord. Odd as it was, Ryan felt that didn't give anyone the right to demand a say in what James said or did. He didn't ask them to come with him. Hell he seemed a little put off that others were coming with him at first. Ryan pretty much concluded that he would die out here with James, probably trying to keep the man from offing himself. No one left town the way he did without already figuring their time was up. To think other wise was just downright stupid. They all were already dead, they just didn't know it yet.

"Ain't up to us girl. We left by choice, so up to him what we do. If that is butt fucking a bear, better get ready. Wouldn't be pushing a mans buttons that just axed Dick off," Ryan said chuckling a bit but his voice was serious. He was trying to make a point that maybe trying to put ones foot down with a man that had just killed someone, been exiled, and was now seeing things probably wasn't the smartest thing Bea had done today.

Gavin crinkled his lips a bit before holding his finger to his lips. "Shh y'all. Don't ya be knowing yous don't interrupts someone on the phones? Yer momma not raise you rights?" he said and while he was asking a question it was more than obvious it was meant as an insult to their upbringing more than an actual inquiry. Shaking his head he leaned against the side of the house boat a bit, crossing his arms over his chest and continued to listen in on the one sided conversation that James was having with someone on the other end of the line. It wasn't every day someone had a phone, much less one that worked. It was like a small miracle to him. Hell he wanted to meet up with whoever was on the other side of the line. If they had a phone and could make calls, maybe they would come in handy when he and James went after Eden. Shit, Eden.. They still needed to talk about that.
