⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

@mnkee Is this Karma or Irony? :p

@FantasyChic They haven't started down the stairs yet - so there wouldn't be a roll for that. (And when they start heading down, she would just know they were coming back to the table. She wouldn't recognize Foy.)

BUT I did roll to see if she noticed Foy and Jahosafat up on the second floor - she didn't. (It was a near impossible roll anyways since she was trying to help one person up, everything that had just happened there, and so so forth.)

Anisa Crowe

Location: Lady Luck: Table Main Room
Skills: Jack-Of-All, Recruiting

Looking over at Jackie from the top of her shot glass, Anisa quirked a brow at the womans card request. The liquid burned slightly as it crawled down her throat. Hissing slightly she turned over the glass and let it back down on the table before running her tongue along her bottom lip, getting the last dram of whiskey from it. Then a curl tugged at the corner of her lips and she chuckled, then it grew into a more solid laugh. Apparently whatever had affected Harper had snuck into Anisas blood as well. Was something happening to them to make them see or hear things that they were finding funny but others had no idea about? They had been on the ship longer than the rest and Harper had been the first on the ship while Anisa had finished the deal. Was there a gas leak?

Anisa felt a few tears slip out as she laughed and wiped them away with the back of her hand. "Go fish!" she was finally able to choke out. The words made the laughter come out even more. The entire things was hilarious to her. She had no idea who this Fitz character was and on principle alone she probably wouldn't hire him even if he was the best in the verse because of Daphne but this woman had something about her she liked. There was something about her she didn't like as well but the like out weighed the dislike and for Anisa to admit to herself that she liked anyone took a lot.

Or maybe it just took a good game of Go-Fish. Others had found the game wonderful in horrid circumstances. There was the fabulous tale of Froggy and Dick Play Go-Fish During The Apocalypse that was a childhood favorite of hers growing up. Froggy and Dick had many a great adventures together but Go-Fish was always the best of those Golden Books. Screw Elmo and the Monster at the End Of the Book - Froggy and Dick for life!

Jahosafat Moreau

Location: Lady Luck: Main Room
Skills: Social Sciences (Psychology), Carouse

Jahosafat rested his hands on the banister and looked out on the crowd below, paying particular attention to the crew he was now a part of and grinning broadly at them. "I dare say they are the most peculiar group of cohorts. This must be what the great Jane Goodall felt like when she immersed herself with the chimpanzees and was able to observe up close and on a personal level their familial patterns and hierarchy. At the rate they are going it is good we are here old man. They need a messenger of peace if I ever did conclude." Yes, that was exactly what this whole situation was like. He was Dr. Goodall watching the lower life forms who were not as able as he and his hetero lifemate were. He was with them now but he would study them and be their peace bringer. Show them the way of Faraday, how to better themselves. They would never be on the same level as he and Foy were, one could not change their true self but they could be taught the most rudimentary of things.

"I say in honor of your newest Foy'er we should celebrate accordingly. There would be only one tune that drifts to our ears and makes our feet tap in a jocular manner enough to fully encapsulate the feeling of utter joy that comes with the opening of such an establishment." Jahosafat clapped his hands together and rubbed them vigorously. Oh yes, he had a song in mind. A dueling song, a song of Faraday, of Coiffeur! And by extension, himself. Turning his head he locked eyes with Foy and his grin broadened even more, his pearly whites glaring in contrast to his ebony skin. "Mustache!" he exclaimed before turning his attention back to the group blow as Foy pointed out one small hitch in this idea.

"So that is the minx in which absconded from your sight. Yes, she does in fact owe you a dashing pair of Madisons, and a matching ascot for the inconvenience. It would be the least she could do yet I wonder what perchance had her digging around the previous vessel. Few things would have caused her to sneak on one would think. Oh yes, I must speak with this one, back on the clock it is my dear sir. Do lead the way," he said motioning towards the stairs with a flamboyant sweep of his hand. "After you."

October 4th, 1924 - 5:10 P.M. Local Time

Streets Of Cairo: Rosheen smiled over at Mosi and thanked her for the compliment on her place. Looking around her small apartment she had to admit it wasn't the most glamorous in Cairo but she was more than happy to call it home. It looked very much the quaint little home of the locals, seemed that Rosheen had adopted the local decor easily enough. Save a few pieces here and there that were obviously European. Tartan seemed to be the main fabric of choice, a little trinkets and such from home, small statue of a woman next to a peacock, and so forth.

"It does, have to watch yourself of you will loose time fully around here with so much to see," Rosheen said in an understanding voice. Walking over she peeked into the packages so she could have a look smiled. "Seemed they really set you up, those are lovely. Come by tomorrow and I can show you some patterns to help you get that together." Grabbing her bag she looked around her apartment. "Okay, lets get moving, you wanted to drop those off at your hotel before your appointment right?" she asked before shrugging. "Or you could leave them hear until later, I don't mind."

Museum: Akhmed couldn't stop smiling at Josephine and when he heard the Lord Majors voice it took him a moment to snap out of it. "Oh do excuse me my goddess extraordinaire," he said beofre finally turning his attention to Reginald. "I would think she would be in her office at this time Lord Major, she has been receiving numerous floral deliveries today," he said grinning a bit. Flowers were not something that ever got delivered to the Lady Munn, unless it was a get well arrangement after she hurt herself yet again.

As Lauren spoke up Akhmed sighed. "Seems I am a day late and a pound short Lord Major, I had forgotten she intended to take care of the permits for her upcoming expedition today. The office closes at six, so it would only make sense that she had made her way over there but she does have a new assistant," he added before glancing around a bit.

Neema hadn't stopped her walk. Glad to be on her way and to get back to the archives. Pointing off a little ways from the information desk. "Oh there he is sir, a Mahendra Zalil. Headed towards the archives with.... Ms. Banoub...." he said before tuning his attention back to Josephine. "Take care of yourself ad if you would lower yourself to be accompany me this evening, I shall be leaving promptly at six this evening. If not, I do hope to see you again soon Jo Darling," he said as he bowed deeply.

Glancing over her shoulder Neema noticed that Akhmed was pointing in their direction and there was an older heavier set British Officer next to him. "Seems someone is pointing us out," she said as she came to a stop.

Vera, Peter, & George

Location: Governorate (E/F 10)
Skills: Focus (Vera), Mental Stamina (Vera)

Vera stopped right before she entered the building and glanced towards George as he stood there. His head was lowering again as it did back in the as it had back at the museum, his shoulder hunching. It was as if he was trying his best not to draw attention to himself. Thing was the more he acted this way the more people were looking, thankfully the masked side of his face was close to the building itself and it kept most from even noticing something was the slightest bit off. Taking a breath she reached over and rested her hand on his arm. "Would you prefer to remain outside? I shan't be but a moment. I dare say that us two women can handle things inside. Perhaps you and Peter could take a moment to catch up?" Vera suggested.

Peter reached into his breast pocket and pulled out an olive silk handkerchief. A quick flick of his wrist and it opened fully before he held it out towards Lauren and turned to block Veras and Georges view of her as he noticed the tears. "You are most welcome and I am sorry. It is obvious by your reaction that no one has bothered to tell you these things before. It should have been said long ago. Chin up. From one Mathematician to another, numbers solve everything," he chuckled. Giving her a moment to compose herself more fully before they continued.

"Mmm, you don't mind?" George asked as his one eye came up to Vera. While he was accustomed to Peter and a few others whom he was close to back home being kind to him and understanding of his situation he wasn't from a stranger. Yet she didn't feel like a stranger to him. Perhaps that was because of the numerous times Peter had spoken about her to him when he was laid up in the hospital. He had enjoyed hearing about her but at the same time it had saddened him. He knew he would never find a gal to take home and have a family with. The last of his family would be his sister. Peter had tried to tell him that he would find someone but it was a hard thing to swallow.

"Of course not. I wouldn't go inside if I didn't have business to attend to, nor would I have so many around. I much prefer to be left to my reading and work," she said as she stood there. It was true. While Vera enjoyed the company of some others for the most part she enjoyed being the bluestocking she was and in the shadows. Yet she couldn't deny that she was excited about leading an expedition and some of those she had met seemed to be ones she would want to be around. Lady... No, Miss Kingston was one of them. Very sharp mind on that one.

Peter finally turned and caught up with the two at the door. Quirking a brow he wondered if they had held up the pair yet again. "Shall we then?" he asked as he stood there. He hoped he had taken enough time for Nora to compose herself fully. Leaning against his cane slightly he looked at the two as Vera shook her head slightly. "What do you mean no?"

"Mmm, Vera says she and Miss Kingston have this," George interjected. He hadn't realized that he called Vera by her first name to Peter but the woman had insisted that he call her as such and he didn't know the finer points of English etiquette when it came to the whole peerage thing. Heck he didn't even know Veras full title. To him she was just a woman whom Peter had spoken about a lot on a more personal level and that was being kind to him.

Peter however did take notice, as did Vera but she covered quickly. She was smoother with words than she was her own two feet. Especially since a certain head strong American was no longer in her presence seemingly trying to cause her a headache constantly. "Quite. Miss Kingston and myself can handle this, you and George should go and catch up. We shouldn't be long," she added before turning and heading in side. She tripped slightly and George caught her by her elbow, easing her up the stairs and inside before stepping out of the way and clearing a path for Lauren to follow.

Evelina Lucas

Location:Ville au Camp: Main House (Downstairs front porch outside Room 100)
Skills: Diplomacy, Memory Training

The smoke curled up from Evelinas lips as they parted. Sitting there half chewing on the mouth piece of her pipe as it hung from her mouth. She looked out over the sprawling front of Ville Au Camp, down the gravel drive that was framed with old oak and pecan trees on either side. It created a tunnel which people had to pass through to get to the front house and to Evelina was rather stunning to just observe. Watching the Spanish moss hang from the limbs and sway in the wind was one of the more enjoyable moments of her day. Her fingers drummed along the arm of the rocking chair she sat in, it was an old tune that clicked away. One she remembered from her bodies childhood, years before she even became conscious of the fact she was an Emendator. Even before her first skill had presented itself. A simpler time.

Yet times were not simple any longer. In fact, one complication was coming towards her now. Not truly a complication but an example of her work out in the world beyond Ville Au Camp. Death and then life. Looking at the girl coming towards her and waving her hand in an awkward fashion Evelina reached up and pulled the pipe from her lips. Waving back slightly with it before she rose from her seat, the chair still rocking slightly behind her from the sudden shift in weight. The Dice recalled the exact moment she had let the dice that lay in her pocket fall to the surface nearest to her, rolling and seeing the girls number come up. It was never a pleasant thing, yet the dice themselves were impartial. Death came to everyone. Yet death didn't get to claim each of them in a classic sense since Lady Lucas had come into consciousness.

Resting her hand on her hip, the smoke from her pipe curled up and around her slowly as she took a step forward to the edge of the porch. Evelina was dressed as fashionably but refined as ever. Short navy strap heels, dark silk stockings with the eras seem running up the back side. Her two piece dress suit matched her heels precisely. The skirt was straight and fitted to her midthighs and then ruffled just in the slightest. The jacket was much more elaborate but just as tailored as the rest especially the upper sleeves. Her hair was coiffed and twisted up into place. Every detail had been paid attention to, down to her nails which matched her suit and were as pointed as the tips of the constructed shoulders of her jacket. Her eyes were lined and dark while her lips were pale pink. A thick chain hang from her pocket to one of her buttons as she stood there.

Extending a hand towards Faith, her smile grew. "Evelina Lucas, delighted to meet you," she said brightly. "I do hope you found your room and its contents within to your satisfaction. Gilbert does try his best to make each room comfortable for our new arrivals though I must admit that the man isn't always the most in touch with his feminine side." Her voice was thick with a Yorkshire accent as she spoke. "Faith Masters, lovely name. Do you prefer to go by Faith or Miss Masters? Both have interesting connotations."

Alicia Gonzalez

Location: Ville au Camp: Oak Tree
Skills: Empathy, Psychology

Alicia was more than grateful that others did not seem to be around the tree. Perhaps having the portal at the Oak Tree was not the best point. It was right in the middle of a major pathway between the main and the kitchen house. Perhaps it would be something to talk to Gio about later. Move it down over by the waters edge, away from the house and everyone else. Give people a better chance to take everything in without interruption and Alicia more time to speak to them before they got to the house. It was something to think on but not for long, she had a new arrival coming through any moment it seemed from the looks of what was popping up on the clipboard.

From what Alicia was seeing here this was an interesting one coming in. This girl wasn't from either timeline she was aware of, it wasn't the one that Evelina referred to as the main, not was it the alternate one from which James had come from. This was a completely different branch. "Well shit," Alicia muttered under her breath. It was one thing to deal with people that at least came from timelines she was partially familiar with but this one was from completely out in left field. On the clipboard it was marked next to which timeline slot - Abandoned. "I can see fucking why..." she said to herself as she kept reading. No wonder it was marked as what it was. She would have abandoned it as well. It was like the horrors of the Alternate time line had had a bastard child with the shit that went down in Justice. It just wasn't pretty.

Shaking her head a bit she shoved the clipboard under her arm and cracked her fingers. The portal was shifting and lifting off of the ground as their newest girl arrived. Standing over her Alicia smirked. "Seems you weren't the energizer bunny because bitch you're dead," she said as she held a hand out to the girl. "Welcome to Thunderdome."
@FantasyChic Good to go, just add in the relations for those mentioned in her CS. I will be updating tomorrow or Friday, so if you could have that in ASAP so I can bring her in next round, that would be awesome. ^_^

World Narrative

Alright, the temperature currently is 58F, that means snow is melting and melting fast but after the several feet you all had piling in for West Georgia, you have a long way to go before it is gone. New maps are provided below. Remember, the goal is to get to the bug out locations. They are located in the following locations: Arnco Mills, Sharpsburg, And Moreland. Each group, discuss which you will pick in PM's ONLY!!! (Reason being, let's not metagame this. No one knows who is going to what location. So, let's keep it that way and see if any of you wind up ever finding each other ^_~)

Now, below are our new maps....
Group 1 - The Hordebuster Fuckers: You have snow everywhere but the thick blue areas are where trees/snow is blocking the road. Red is walkers in the path. Needless to say, the hoard is growing and growing quickly now that Newnan has set of fireworks and the sow is melting.

Group 2 - Where's My Bitch: Blue is general snow more than 2 inches deep, red is walkers, brown is the downed outer wall.

Group 3 - Shit! New Comer: As with group 2, blue is general snow more than 2 inches deep, red is walkers. Sam has been held up for a while now in Zion Hill Baptist Church thanks to the snow. Now, because of big boom and such, out of building is good thing because it might not hold up much longer. Sam can see Amelia and Ray, Amelia and Ray can see Sam: can't make out who each other is (even if you did know each other) but you can tell you three aren't walkers. Sam can see smoke rising from Newnan and it wasn't too long ago that she could have been able to see 1 very large mushroom cloud type explosion over the top of the trees in the direction of downtown Newnan. (Whether she was inside or out when that happened is up to you.)

Group 1 & 2, you are on cases - 7 day counters from this post. Group 3, you are NOT on case just yet. Sam needs to start off. Post as per normal, group 3 will be on cases next WN update. You are on normal counters from your last post.

Remember everyone, SKILLS SKILLS SKILLS!!! Survival, stealth, athletics, etc. PM me or hit me up in chat for rolls before you act. Those who have NOT passed their all clear for Sanity Checks, get those in before anything else. Sam does not need sanity checks since she was not exposed to the gas inside of of Newnan.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Thana Martin

Location: The Truck
Skills: Redneck Vehicles

"Yes, those are the ones," Thana said. Her voice was all business and carried no weight of intonation to it at that time. It as was if she had turned off completely in the emotion department. It was probably best that she had because smoke was still rising from Newnan and every so often it would catch her attention out of the corner of her eye or in the rear view mirror, depending on which way she was going at the time. It was a rounding route she was having to take to get to Peachtree City that was for sure. Between the snow, downed trees and walkers coming out of the woods to hear towards Newnan, it wasn't easy.

Newnan... Ash would be back there by now if her calculations were correct and nothing went wrong. Would he find anyone of her people as Alexander called them? She didn't know but they were exactly her people were they? Technically she could say they were. She was living there at the time everything went down. She was in a position of authority as Lead Agriculture. She was involved with the head of Newnan. Did it matter she had only been there all of 24 hours before the shit hit the fan? Not in her mind. As with any military post, soon as your orders were cut, they were your people, end of story.

"I don't think I have ever seen one that was younger than 100 years. I am used to newly formed ones and the destruction they cause. They aren't very pretty things here in the south," Thana said snapping back out of the thoughts going through her mind. "Why I am stopping far enough out not to be targeted by Eden, so we can take asset count. I was not keeping us close to Newnan with Lime Sinks opening up. Ground is unstable and could be along standing issues for weeks to come. We needed to get away and far out before we worried about anything else. Peachtree City is just about as close as I am willing to cut it when it comes to stopping. Seen these things cause trigger effects up to 50 miles out before. I don't care to die just to count a few bullets." Thana made a turn down another road and half clipped a walker when she did. She didn't bother to swerve right then. A defrosting corpse wouldn't do half the damage a deer would on James truck. They were good.

Gavin & Lola

Location: The Tank
Skills: People Reading (Gavin), Tank Operations (Lola)

"Justice, Vengeance. Ain't they just the same damn thang dependin' if you are the one pullin' the trigger or the one gettin' the bullet?" Gavin said darkly as he pushed the riffle aside and leaned forward. Reaching into his back pocket he pulled out his wallet and cleared his throat. "Well, what the shit do it matter now anyways? Wes gonna give them one hell of a time. Shit when was the last time this baby fired something?" Gavin asked as he fiddled with the leather stamp on his wallet, running his fingers over the letters GC pressed into it.

"Oh shit man! It's been too damn long since my baby got one off. This is going to be like being without sex for a year and then finally having an orgasm. I mean one you didn't bring on by yourself," Lola said grinning like a maniac. It had been some time since she was able to fire off her tank. She lived on the edge that was for sure and didn't seem to care if she got herself killed but she wasn't wasteful and popping off ammunition was just that. So she saved what she could, it wasn't like even before all hell broke out that she could go down to the corner store to pick up a case of shells for her tank. It was even harder today but hell, next place she could find she would raid to see if she could find more. She wanted to stock up and tank ammo wasn't exactly something people took, at least if they didn't have a tank.

"Hope its pipes ain't clogged," Gavin said with a smirk before glancing over towards Beatrice. "I know whys I am doin' this, whos I doin' it for. I doin' it fer that poor girl I found out in the woods that had been messed up and burned out by these folk and to make sure they don't be doing the same to Strawberry or get a chance to fuck over me best mate. What about ya? Whos getting vengicied?" he asked as he pulled out Ravis green card from his wallet and smirked a bit. The man did have the beard of a god, not that he would ever tell him that.

"My babies pipes never be clogged! I clean them out regularly thank you very much mate!" Lola quipped. Gavin didn't want to know what that meant, especially with the look on Lola's face. Leaning back in her seat and taking out a few Walkers that were in their path Lola started singing to herself. "You know that birds do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it. Let's do it, let fall in love! You know giraffes on the fly do it, tank do it, deadies wanna to it, lets do it, lets fall in love. You know that he'll do it and she'll do it, even I'll do it, let's do it, let's fall in love!" she belted out with fervor. Gavin cocked a brow slightly and glanced over to Lola and then back to Bea, again he wasn't asking.
@Scallop I am sorry but you have reached day 8 and are here by removed from the RP

Kyra
Location: The Tower - Second Floor
Interacting With: Satilla
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Kyra felt the wind get knocked out of her as she went crashing into the bookshelf. She could feel the wood impacting against her ribs and knew that if they survived this she would wake up in several shades of bruised come the next morning. Gasping for breath she rolled over onto the splintered pile of rubble and finally found her wind, drawing in a breath sharply and coughing roughly as she nodded. "I....I'm good," she hacked out as she tried to recover. She had no idea if anything was broken right then but she was slowly able to stand up.

Her bow had gone flying off her as she was knocked through the air and was now against the wall behind the rubble. She had set her sword down before she tackled Ash so now it was on the other side of her growling companion. That left her with her daggers. Wiping the blood away from the corner of her mouth she drew two from her thighs and got ready. Thankfully, despite the pain she was able to notice that Ash wasn't about to attack her but has eyes were back to the same moonlight green she had grown to know so well. "Ash, kill," she said with a smirk as she crouched down some more.

Hooded Figure
Location: Tower - 2nd Floor
Interacting With: Generally Everyone
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The hooded figure was none to happy that his little spell over the Dyre wolf had been broken but there was nothing to be done about it now. He could have tried to take control again but that would have been a waste of time. He needed to cull the numbers against him at least momentarily. So, he did what he did best, turned the tables from being against him to be in his favor. He had to do two things to do that and he did them quickly.

First was thinning the numbers. It was one thing when he had the gray wolf on his side. That means three against seven. It wasn't great odds but it was better than 2 (well 1.8 since Bob was missing an arm) against 8. Before Ash, Satilla, and Kyra knew it the floor gave way beneath them as a grin grew on the hooded figures features. It wasn't though as if the floor had crashed. No, they melted through it, as if it was quick sand and they were spit out on the first floor beneath the rest. That helped. Five against 2 (1.8) now. Still, not favorable enough for him.

So with a blink of the eye, the Hooded figure seemed to go, up, and through the ceiling above to the next floor up. Don't worry though, he didn't leave you all alone. No one was alone right then. On the first floor, rising above the trio was a creepy crawly from nightmares. A Centipede! (These things re bad enough when they are six inches long but fifteen feet? Hope you are wearing your shitting pants because you are about to shit your pants.) On the second floor, left behind in his wake, were two boars...One(A) would have been a good 8ft tall if he were to stand on his hind legs, the other(B) was slightly smaller, looking as if he would only be 7ft. None of these animals looked "normal." The desk beneath B, crushed under its weight.
