⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Jahosafat & Anisa

Location: Prometheus: Upper Deck: Outside Foyer, Upper Deck: Outside Foyer
Skills: Medical Jack of All Trades, Athletics

Jahosafat was remarkably quiet right then, at least for one from Faraday. He kept pushing on the mans chest, quickly rapping out five thrusts on his sternum before tilting his head back and breathing into Atticus' lungs for him before repeating the process. Again and again and again. He would stop for a moment, check for a pulse, and then continue. Over and over again. The seconds seemed to tick by slowly. Time seemed to slow down as he worked. Feeling like he wasn't moving fast enough but to those watching he was.

Anisa looked over towards Jackie and scowled. Not at her so much but at the situation as she knelt down. Spotting the doctor was breaking out into a sweat from the work it took to perform this. "Captain, my captain, what medical aliments did the good man of God possess?" he asked between breaths as he continued to pump on the mans chest.

Thinking, Anisa wasn't sure. She wasn't medical, she was the captain. She did know his crew file though and there had been nothing disease worthy on it that she could recall. Now it would have been a question that Dorothy could have answered. The man had high cholesterol, high blood pressure, he drank like a fish, and injecting lard straight into his veins probably would have been healthier for him than the majority of the foods he ate when they got a hold of real food.

"Fuck, I don't know. Other than drinking bottles of whiskey a day and eating like he was a teenager," she said as she stayed knelt down. Jahosafat nodded and gave the man another breath before going back to pumping on his chest. It was obvious that the fine physician was tiring. It wasn't easy to pump blood through a persons body this way. The rib cage kept the heart protected, so a heavy amount of force had to be applied with each thrust. Many people who had received this treatment came out of it with cracked ribs.

Anisa narrowed her eyes. "Move." Her voice was domineering and hard even with the one word she spoke. Jahosafat fell back into his rear and Anisa climbed on top of Atticus. Straddling him as she started to mimic what Jahosafat had been doing. She might not have had medical training like the two doctors on the ship had but she was a Jack of All Trades and in much better shape than the ebony doctor was. So she would take over for now and give the doctor a break. She didn't need him dropping dead while trying to save Atticus' life.

Around the grounds, things were rather calm even if a bit crowded. Not your typical thought of being crowded where people were packed in but for a place that only had had around a dozen of people on it normally, having nearly a hundred walking around now either in tours to get stories or on their own, it was crowded. Though for it to be crowded in a more general sense, with the size of the property, there would most likely have to be four or five times that current number. That wasn't going to happen this night or any other. Not in this year. Not on this day.

Evelina continued to greet people as they entered. Directing them this way and that. She knew the faces well. The same came every night. She knew them by face, by name, by mannerisms. At times like this she recalled an old movie that wasn't around yet. Groundhog Day. Bill Murray. Good flick. One she could watch over and over again. Yet she was living her own right then. Reliving the same day, it changing only because her and those who lived in the loop would change small things. It kept one from going insane.

You could go mad being in a loop too long and not finding something to do. Perhaps this was why she was open to inviting others in each night. Even though the faces were familiar, they didn't know they had been there before so the small changes the Emendators and Paradoxes put into play changed their reactions. Yet there was one face walking slowly in the crowd towards her that was not the same as every night. This one was new but it was familiar. A gentle smile came to her lips.

"Why Puridaj dearest, it is pleasant to see you at the gates this evening," the ebony haired woman said as she laced her slender fingers together. Her knees bent slightly in the hobble dress she wore and her skin seemed to be as pale as the moonlight.

"Oh my darling, it has been far too long since I laid eyes on you, what brings you home this night?" Evelina asked as she reached out and pulled the woman into her arms and embraced her. The woman stood for a moment before returning the embrace and letting out the slightest of breaths.

"A matter of some importance but it will hold until a new cycle," she said as she stepped back. Evelina nodded slightly. Some things should not be discussed within the presence of the living and right then, there were far too many of them gallivanting about.

"In that case, do go give greetings to the others. We have some charges, one I believe you should meet," she said before motioning back down the road. The woman simply nodded with a slight smile and began to walk down the road towards the main area of the grounds where the kitchen house and the main house were.

Alicia grunted as leapt out of the way. From above her it seemed something had dislodged itself and sent a stack of crates crashing down from above. The only reason Alicia had even noticed it in time to jump was because one of the heavy wooden boxes had crashed against the fire escape above her. It was a good thing as well because the majority of the crates filled with various items for the tourists crashed right where she had been standing. She would have been crushed beneath them. Would it have killed her? She didn't know. Being a Paradox made you rather durable in a sense but that didn't mean you couldn't die and as much of a thrill seeker Alicia had once been in a previous life, her want to push the envelope was not as great as it once was.

"Hijo de tu puta madre," Alicia spat as she looked back at what had happened. The majority of it had just missed her. Yet she hadn't gotten out of it unscathed. Rolling over she had to keep from yelping out in pain. A piece of board had splintered and embedded itself into her calf. It was jagged and deep. She could feel it digging deep within the meat of the muscle as she rolled over onto her backside and sat up. Every movement sucked as she pulled her leg in an awkward position to get a good look at it without having the wood hit the ground and get driven even deeper.

"Mierda," she added as she took a good look at it. This was not good. She needed to pull it out but she wasn't about to without having something to tie off her leg ready. A make shift bandage would have to work. The only good thing about dressing for this area during this time in her mind right then was the fact she was clothed in local robes. She could rip some from it without it being too noticeable and have the strips of cloth she needed.

The smell of smoke was in the air and one could hear off in the distance alarms going off. Seemed something else was going down in the city but it wasn't of Alicias concern. In fact it may have been saving her life. For as she was screaming people didn't notice. They were too busy rushing down the main street to the Statistical Department building that was engulfed in flames right then.

Sana
Location: The Tower - 3rd Floor
Interacting With: FSC
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sana grunted slightly as the snake bit into her and inflicted its poison. It was a familiar feeling, this hadn't been the first time she had been poisoned, hell it wasn't the first time today. And frankly it was getting old. Her dagger wasn't doing the damage needed and she couldn't fire her bow with the thing wrapped around her the way it was. She had to take a chance. She had one more weapon available to her, Kyras sword. She had forgotten about it but she had picked it up before she rushed to the third floor.

And right then she was glad she had. Dropping her dagger she grabbed for the sword and took a stab in the dark as it were. Grabbing the snake as best she could, she didn't worry about getting bit this time. It had already poisoned her. It was a gamble that paid off as she hacked at the thing. Once, twice, and it was split into. It was still wriggling somewhat, left over muscle spasms but it was dead.

Now, she could move, hopefully she would have enough time to get out of the tower. She'd have to make a choice. Jump for it and pray she stuck the landing or run down the stairs and pray she beat the tower falling in on her.

Annan: "I see, well sit child. You need your sustenance as much as I. It would not do well if you were to faint on me. What good would you be then?" the Lady Kirkpatrick said as she st there before taking a long drink of her tea. Her cane laid beside her. Out of her hand but not out of arms reach.

"Though I doubt you would. You look like I did a life time ago. Though you are much more finely dressed than I was in those days. Granted you were more finely dressed when we first met than I had been as well. Yet working with a stil, you did not care what you wore. More concerned with keeping the blasted thing from blowing up in your face. How I managed to keep unharmed in those days is a testament to god I suppose. It was a wonder I was not ever caught and hung for the spirits I made or even the locks that were picked," she said rather bluntly with a slight smirk to her lips.

" have to admit though, no amount of money will ever bring me the thrill I had as a young woman outsmarting those lads. Outsmarting the younglins these days doesn't seem to do it, granted I wonder if half of them even possess a wit." Finishing off the cup she poured another. Seemed she was determined to be fueled by tea for the remainder of the day.

England

London: In a cage, in a cage, in a not so gilded cage. London within the walls, wilderness out. Or so they thought. Have to go down to go up, have to go south to go north. Hours and hours to go, march, march down you go, down the rabbit hole, and then climb, climb, climb back to go anywhere. Two steps forward, one step back, it works together cause opposites attract, it ain't fiction just a natural fact. And while fact, a little dance because it was catchy.

A dip of the knees and a shake of the head. "Roads and roads to go, leave the world to the fate of god or leave god to the fate of the world? Help those that help themselves, yes but sometimes need a guiding hand, to the north, go north. To the wall! Over the wall, no. Under the wall, no. through the wall," Ludwig said as he pushed his hands and stepped forward.

"Yes, yes, travel roads not so traveled. Save the king, sacrifice the queen. All nothing but pawns. An army in the front, a bishop in the rear, let us be knights and trigger the rook!" he laughed as he pulled out a book, flipping through the pages as he spoke. His glasses falling down and then being pushed back up as his nose twitched. Page after page until he stopped and shoved it in the face of Vlad. "See, see. Knight takes rook and then Freedom!" he exclaimed. (Pm for what the hell Ludwig is showing Vlad.)

Manchester: Gerard looked over towards Colette and then towards Fyror. "A ship? We may never catch them now," he said in a disheartened voice before turning back to Colette. "Thank you for what you know, here, follow me," he said as he motioned in the direction of the church and offered his arm to her.

Taking a breath he wondered what would happen to Millicent now. If they were on a ship and were going to Gretna Green, they would have to stop in Annan. yet being on a ship meant they would move much quicker than on horse. Gerard doubted they would be able to stop them now. Once they got to the church he looked back at Fyror. "I must go back to London. Please, keep going, try to stop this madness but I have no hope yet it can be. So I must look after Emma and Mrs. Wyndham. Millicent would wish that from me..." he said somberly. He didn't like the idea of turning back alone but he knew Millicent and this is what she would want of him and he dare not as Fyror to stop. The man seemed determined and Gerard was not going to be the one to tell him they would be lost.

"I will help here, do what I can until morning and then set back out to London. Please, go do what you must for her," Gerard said before looking over at Colette. "Thank you for the information, it is good to know that she did not fall victim here."

Nottingham: "Oh um, yes of course," the boy said.

Elizaveta stepped towards the boy and held out a golden coin. "Myska vill not eat you, be not afraid. Just fetch him meat and he vill be happy." the boy looked unsure but took the coin and nodded before pointing to an inn down the street and explaining that they could get food there. Elizaveta thanked the young boy before turning back to the business at hand.

"Yes, a meal for all of us and then some abilities to hopefully like the path," she said as she stepped over towards Marys horse. She looked over at Mary for a moment before laying her hands on him and closing her eyes. She seemed to relax as she did and her posture sagged slightly as she whispered under her breath. The horse seemed to become more aware and lively as she did. Slowly she pulled her hands away and smiled faintly but weakly at Mary.

"He vill be ready in an hour," she said before walking slowly towards the inn. "Nov I need sustenance to continue," she said in a tired voice as she continued. It was obvious whatever she had done had just taken its toll on her. Nothing long term or horrid but she looked more fatigued. The stallion on the other hand looked like he was nearly ready to go. Myska yawned and stretched out by the horse. Seemed the tiger wanted a small nap himself.

Walking into the Inn, there were a fair amount of people there. Only a few empty tables left. People were talking loudly and it was obvious that most of them were from London and fleeing but there were others there as well. Several tables were full of a group that were talking about an attack on Manchester the night before and how they had fled.

Date: Monday May 22nd, 2017 - End Of Day

Zoie didn't like the idea either but getting out was getting out and she needed to move, now. The video feeds were off and if they stayed it was just going to get drug out even more on their end, especially once security found the little present she left them on the forth floor. Relic didn't like it either but it was better than staying as far as he was concerned. So it was agreed. They would move and get the hell out of dodge before anyone was the wiser.

Zoie wasn't normally glad she worked for Juno but being part of the lessers had it's advantages, less known but still with some knowledge. Relic had the plans pulled up and it showed where the duct work was, what wasn't on the public plans was part of the plans they had stolen from the computers when they vanished earlier. Escape tunnels. Elizabeth wasn't stupid, she knew an exit strategy was always key to survival.

Behind them was that very key, a pressure sensitive wall that gave way when Zoie pushed in on it. Opening up to a separate set of stair that lead down. "Hurry," she said. Relic walked in and headed down the dimly lit steps. Zoie waited for Mali to enter before stepping in herself and shutting the door. Once it shut the lights came up a bit making it easier to see and suddenly the video feeds and computers in Queensguard powered back up. "Just keep going," she said and Relic nodded moving quickly as he could without risking tripping and falling. The stairs went down a good ways and then opened up to tunnels. These were sewers alright but not like the shallow ones most thought of. These were wide, with sidewalks on either side that were elevated above the actual waste. It stunk but it was a way out.

"Hand me your phone," Zoie said as she got to the bottom. Taking as her brother handed it over to her she sent a quick text. ~Sorry I had to go, the place was dead. Promise to buy you brunch tomorrow.~ Hitting send she handed the phone back over and smiled towards Mali. "Hell of a first date wouldn't ya say?" she said trying to lighten the mood.

"What did you do?" Relic asked as he walked, he didn't figure they were booking ass this way because of what had happened earlier.

Inside Marc looked down at his phone as it buzzed. His brow perking some at the message. Why in the hell had they left and how? Looking around he noted a few of the security team putting their hand to their ears. He knew what that meant, they were getting word from someone on the team but their faces didn't tell him what it was about.

"Boss, forth floor. We have a problem. Two dead, hell of a rumble looks to have gone down up here," the voice chimed in on the security channel.

Things were calmer at the airport. Roy managed to grab a few cartons of smokes, somethings to drink, couple of bags of chips and such before heading back. The call went out that the plane was loading now. That was good, the sooner they were out of Justice the better in his eyes. "Alright, time to go," he said before making his way to the gate. It wasn't long before they were all loaded up. First class wasn't bad as far as he was concerned. It gave them quick access to get off the plane, put them near the cockpit, and bathroom. He could get used to this. Seated he kicked back and waited for take off.

The plane wasn't very full. Not many people were headed to Colorado in the summer. The plane would stop in Denver before heading to Indianapolis. Once they were in the air, the stewardess brought around the cart with drinks and a bag of pretzels. Other food could be bought if one wanted it. Roy was content with what he brought on board. He snacked but it was obvious he was tired and ended up passing out in his seat. He didn't even rouse when the plane sat down in Denver and took back off. It seemed his ass was going to sleep all the way to Indianapolis.

Down in Mexico Tasha yawned a bit. They had stopped in Vallecillo for the night and got a room at a 4 bedroom in just off the highway. It was nothing more than a house an old woman was renting out rooms in but it worked. They had a large bed, large enough to share, there was a bathroom down the hallway and the woman seemed nice enough. No one else was renting from her right then, so it was just the three of them. She didn't speak a lick of English but thankfully Natasha spoke Spanish. Seemed the old woman was a widow, her husband dying about ten years back. Her kids had gone to the US some time ago, she hadn't seen them in ages but got calls weekly. the food was decent and such but the place was hot. She didn't have any central air. Fans and a window unit though was in their bedroom. Natasha was thankful for that. It had been a long drive for her and fleeing partner. It didn't take long once Natashas head hit the pillow before she was out cold.

She wasn't the only one turning in for the night, seemed Maria had had enough of the noise and had grabbed Liam before turning in. She left word that she would be at the airport first thing in the morning to fly out to Justice. Yes her daughter still needed to be buried but she was not going to be there for that. She couldn't bring herself to watch her little girl be put into the ground. Thankfully she had Liam and business to keep her busy.

At the circus Barney nodded a bit. "Good, then you can help me wrangle her in before she gets herself killed, come on," he said as he climbed out of the car. Looking around the place was in chaos and his eyes narrowed. Resting his hand on his hip, he unlatched his side arm. He didn't want to use it but he would if he had to. Walking slowly he looked around, no one was questioning him but considering what had been going on he wasn't surprised.

He heard people screaming in Russian and spotting a pale blonde with bright blue eyes running across the grounds yelling in Russian, only word he could make out was Bazhooli. Then he heard it. "Mother puss bucket," he said before tearing off down the main thorofare. The noise got louder and louder. It was obviously a helicopter. He hadn't even rounded the corner when it took off and he spotted his darling daughter, grand daughter, and one more in the machine before it cut and took off heading west. "God damn it!" he yelled before kicking the ground.

Placing his hands on his hips he shook his head and started to walk back towards the car. "Fucking hell," he said as he pulled out his phone and made a call. "Yeah, listen, I need a tacker done. Helicopter, taking off from the circus in Justice." Sighing he hung up, of course his daughter had stolen a helicopter. They didn't need clearance to take off, no flight plan, no security check. A car would have been less noticeable but a helicopter was faster. "Come on, we have a flight to catch," he said as he climbed back into the car. "I know where she is going."

He did, he knew exactly where his daughter was headed. Straight back to Grimm. She had sworn to him time and time again that once she got her daughter back she would make the adoptive parents pay for what they did to Cynthia. Little did he know there were already others headed in that very direction. Shit was about to get real in Grimm once again.

Upstairs at Queensguard, it seemed another murder had taken place. They had to call the police now. A woman dropping dead could be anything, these two were obviously stabbed to death. The police commissioner was there, so that allowed them to keep things more quiet but still, it couldn't be avoided then. It was going to be a long night. And it was. Police showed up, questioning everyone before letting them leave. The paramedics came but all they were doing was collecting bodies.

Sadly nothing had been recorded during the down time of the computers and security feeds. It was a blank time where no one knew what happened. Elizabeth and her special guests that had been moved away from the scene had been the first to be questioned before being lead out so they could leave. "Activate March," she said to McCormick as they were leaving through the front door.

"Yes Ma'am," Leann said as she pulled out her phone and hit a button on it.

Marc glanced over to the women as they left but stayed where he was. He still had to be questioned. Tinder was questioned, he wasn't on the list but he had either been at the limo the whole time or just inside in plain sight, so he was done rather quickly. Wentworth was questioned as well and then out the door. One by one everyone was questioned before filing out and escorted off the grounds. The bodies were not moved until everyone but the police commissioner, the rest of the police, the security team, and paramedics were left.

Marc was glad to be out of there, he knew Zoie, Relic, and Mali were out. He had wondered why they had left but once he caught a glimpse of the two bodies being brought down from upstairs he figured out why. Zoie. He wondered what had happened and if Zoie was okay. For her to kill two people and then vanish like that, it wasn't smart. Something had to go down. Security would know Zoie hadn't left, she was on the guest list and wasn't checked off once everyone was cleared to go and escorted off. Pulling out of the complex he looked down at his phone and then kept driving. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.

Zoie pushed open a door and they were in a basement. "Where are we?" Relic asked.

"Club Afterdark," Zoie said as they came into the room and she shut the basement door. Heels could be heard on the stairs and Zoie spun around only to see Trisha there.

"What the hell girl?" the woman asked as she lowered her gun.

"Don't ask, we just need a place to crash tonight," Zoie said. Trisha nodded and holstered her gun at her waist.

"Sure, rooms upstairs are empty, no one is renting currently," she said. It wasn't long before they had gone up the stairs, passed the main ground floor and up another set. Once there, Trisha unlocked the door for them and motioned they could go in. "Fill me in in the morning," she said before walking off and back downstairs. Zoie flopped down on the couch and kicked off her heels.

"Sweet Jesus, that sucked," she said as she reached under her dress. She didn't pull out the knife from earlier, that had been left in the chest of Risa. What she did pull out however was a phone. "Here," she said as she tossed it to her brother. Relic took it and his eyes scanned over it. Perking a brow slightly as he spotted a picture of a now dead Mexican woman and one very pale blue eyed man on what looked to be a college campus years ago.

"Seriously?"

"Seems so," she said before leaning back and huffing.

Update

Eden

Location: Eden: Veranda (Near hallway leading towards Wrath), Envy
Skills: Survival, Pistol, Close Combat Fighting, Shotgun, Brawling, Hunting

Thana pushed up the stairs and stopped as she looked down at Lola. It was bound to happen. The woman seemed bent on rushing head first at anything and everything without a second thought. It seemed to have worked for her for a while but as Thana looked down at her lifeless body she couldn't feel any remorse for coming to Eden. She doubted they would get out of this situation without someone dying and if the woman was hell bent on not looking before leaping, it was her own fault. Thana was practical on the matter.

Not that she didn't feel sorry for Thalia though as she watched her. She had lost someone she cared for obviously, that was never hard. Thalia had wanted this trip as much as Thana had it seemed, so perhaps she blamed herself. Thana could have comforted her or said something but that wasn't how she was. That would have been something Zoie would have done but then again, Zoie had been the look before she leapt kind of girl as well and she was also dead. Perhaps people should be more careful. Everyone died yes, but you didn't have to open the door and welcome the grim reaper to dinner.

Gavin right then though wasn't thinking so much about what he was doing. He was looking before he leapt. He had taken one in the shoulder. It hurt like a bitch and it was bleeding but he was pumped full of adrenaline and rage right then. It wasn't in his dominate shoulder so he wasn't going to let it slow him down. They had fire coming in and even through Alexander and Thalia had taken out a lot of the cross fire there were obviously still more.

Thana made it to the top of the stairs and caught Gavin looking at her. She knew he wasn't going to stop and she wasn't gong to try. Best she could do right then was provide support. "I'll cover you," she said as she stepped off and started firing. It was enough to make the Edenite in the hallway of Envy duck down. Gavin took the opportunity and rushed forward. Firing off a round and plugging the bastard in the forehead.

Thana moved forward but Gavin kept rushing into Envy and kept firing. He managed to take out two more before calling, "Clear!" back at them and stopping for a second. Reaching down and searching the one that was closest to him. He needed a patch job on his shoulder, at least a tourniquet or something to stave off the blood. Yet that hadn't crossed his mind. He was looking for ammo and weapons, not a band-aide.

Thana turned the corner and fired off two rounds back to back, blowing the back of the head and chest off the woman in the hallway that lead towards Wrath. Pumping the shot gun the shell went flying and she loaded more into it as she kept an eye on the hallway. She had seen another through a window when she came to the top of the stairs but they hadn't moved. Why she didn't know but they'd find out sooner or later.
I might be a Gm nearly all of the time but that doesn't stop me from playing PC's. (Honestly to me a Gm should get to and not just have to be the Gm. Why I love randmonization, it allows me to Rp as well as Gm without giving me a central roll that I have to play. I get to still kick back and just enjoy how the story unfolds.)

For me, whatever floats my boat at the time. Might be the strong female who keeps things moving, might be the the quiet unassuming guy with a checkered past, tank, healer, bard, comic relief, intellectual, or even the crazed one who makes no sense. Just whatever tickles my fancy. Right now in the various Rps I am in I have everything from a Southern Belle turned hooker who will do anything but prefers farming, former naval officer turned agriculturalist who leads but rarely speaks, Prim and proper Royal turned Circus performer and tiger rider, a long winded flowery and dapper medical man, crazed redneck mommas boy, Severely scarred gypsy bard who hates singing, a slightly insane german man who has no filter and refuses to carry a weapon, and a dice tossing proper lady who never really answers a question directly and enjoys her pipe. (To name a few.) - So yeah, whatever pops into my head.
@QueenOfWands Let's see if I can answer some of this for you.

1) Basically you respond to everything in your characters area. Say your pc is speaking with 2 other pc's but there are 4 more outside. You wouldn't respond to what the 4 others are talking to, just to the ones around you. This usually goes in a semi rotation where you post, wait for those around you to respond and then formulate your post to respond to theirs, and then it keeps moving.

It can be a bit much to deal with if you are not used to it. Start out with a smaller group is usually best, then work up to larger groups. Always re-read the previous posts as you are responding or take notes as you read. This tends to help.

2) As far as not seeing a lot of talkomg, chances are it is happening in Discord. Many use it instead of an ooc. Or they just don't talk about it. Why ask what will happen if you do that? That can be a form of metagaming, big no no. Just stick to your charavter, do or say what they would and let other react naturally when you do it. (Its hilarious and really revealing when you get a reaction you never expected.)

Now if you are talking larger plot points, sometimes you want to talk it out but mostly many don't. Takes away from the organic growth of a character and an rp.

3) Collabs are when 2 or more people are writing together. Each taking a turn. One will write a line or two, pm it to the other, they will respond with a few lines, then pm it back. You keep going until the scene is done or it covers what you want, then one person posts it. People usually a rent bunnying, both people are writing it, so it just appears that way since only 1 person can post it. Think of it as condensing 40 posts of a free rp into 1 post. When done right or can really open a lot of doors and cover a lot more ground than waiting a week between posts. You both quickly respond to get it done without spamming a topic.

Hope that helps, welcome to the forum. ^^

Jahosafat & Anisa

Location: Prometheus: Upper Deck: Captains Quarters (2) -> Outside Foyer, Upper Deck: Galley And Lounge (6) -> Outside Foyer
Skills: Medical

"That is good news to waft to my ears. It is not every day that a man in my position as a physician can see the fruits of his work turn out in such a wonderful light. Much of the time a dark cloaked grievance with a scythe does everything he can to meddle in the affairs of the medical masterminds. Sometimes he wins but not today. No not today. Today is a joyful day and one in my profession that is never as common as it should be," the man proclaimed with a sense of mirth in his voice. He was grinning broadly. Not that he was really worried that she wouldn't be feeling fit this morning but medicine was as much an art as it was a science. It was lucky he was a master at both. It would have been a shame for such a leg to become infected and have to be removed but even if it had he had no doubt that Mei wouldn't have been able to rock a synthetic one just as well as the one she had grown up with.

Anisa placed her hand on the door and slid it open. First thing was first, breakfast. Which in her mind just meant a pot of coffee, not a cup, but a pot. Then she would address the crew. They had a job to do, one that looked to pay well enough and get them away from any Alliance influence at least for awhile. Granted that also meant going back out into the growing Reaver territory but hey money was money and bills needed to be paid. Things needed to be funded. She was a Browncoat still, she would die a Browncoat and anything she could do to bring down the Alliance was worth it. Then again, she wondered just how far she was willing to go considering she hadn't yet burned the little frozen package of Jahosafats.

Jahosafat nodded towards Harper and took another sip of his own steaming beverage. "That we do, the captain has said there is a job to do so I am sure she will brief us once she emerges. It is odd though that we have not seen hide nor hair of the illustrious captain. It is not like her to sleep this late. I wonder if she had problems resting last night. I will be more than happy to give you a tour of the craft once we are finished..." he said but was cut off as the announcement came over and he slowly sat his cup of joe down. That was not something he was expecting.

Nor was it something that Anisa had been expecting. She had hardly taken two steps when the announcement came over. Her steps quickened and it wasn't but a short jog before Atticus came into view. He wasn't moving. "What the hell happened?" she asked quickly as she rushed over. Leaning down and giving the man a bit of a shake. It wasn't the first time Atticus had passed out after a night of drinking. In fact the preacher was rather known for it among the older crew members.

Jahosafat came rushing around the corner and slid to a stop as he knelt down and Anisa took a step back. "Call for an adrenaline needle, defibrillator, and Ox Bag. There is no pulse," he said quickly but calmly before he rolled over Atticus to his back and ripped his shirt open. With a closed fist he brought it down hard on the mans sternum but nothing happened. It was a rare moment that worked but it was worth the second it took to do it. After checking the pulse again he began CPR on Atticus as he waited for Dorothy to show up and for someone to go get what he needed.

As the others walked off to entertain their visitors Evelina remained at the gate, content to welcome the other guests as they arrived. Considering how Alicia had been doing that day with welcoming the new Paradoxes, perhaps it was for the best she wasn't there right then. Her mouth tended to run away with her and today was a prime example of that. Looking down at the children she gave them a gentle smile. It was not something she showed often but centuries ago, back in Greece, a smile was something she wore often. Tending to the children, watching them grow. While she would never be a mother in her own right, it did her heart good back then to watch her orphans find a family with her and Drem. There were many fine years they had in peace there.

Yet things change. As they always do and now Evelina found it difficult to find the joy she once had in the faces of the young. Yes they had a life ahead of them but then again, they also had a death. They all did. Looking at their big eyes she did what she could not to try to seek out their futures. Nothing was set in stone. Especially now. Everything was foggy where Alicia was, she was there. What she did, what she didn't do, it could cause a massive ripple and spin off another time line, there was a chance there was already one forming they just hadn't seen yet. It didn't matter what they could see, it mattered what they couldn't and that was as vast as the oceans. Some time lines popped up out of no where, and some suddenly vanished. She knew of at least one. The world still had no recovered from that.

The boy that had spoken was still looking at Evelina and she took notice. Training began tomorrow for the new Paradoxes. Whatever watched over them, whatever gave them their powers, whatever controlled all of this, she hoped would smile on their training. If there was nothing, then it was fully in their hands. Should they even intervene. It could change the course of events for all time but if they stepped back, could that course end? Start to finish, beginning to end, Alpha to Omega... "How do you know such things?" she finally asked but the boy said nothing. Simply smiling and rushing off. Something was afoot but she wouldn't leave her post. Not now, not yet. Turning she went back to greeting people as they came in, directing them down the main road towards where the others were. Maybe Gio and Bart would find answers with Alicia.

Cairo, Egypt

Alicia found herself being more cautious than usual now that George was gone. It wouldn't do if she got cornered in a dark alleyway in the middle of the night alone against a Destruere. She had never seen one, no one had, save for Drem. They could sure use him right then. Yet The Glasses was long dead. She could feel the pain that Evelina went through every day he was gone. It was lessening with time but it was still evident, even to those that couldn't read emotions the way Alicia could. Anyone that had known Evelina before Drem had died could see the difference. She was much less full of life and more full of caution these days. Alicia couldn't blame her. If she had lost someone she cared about that much, she doubted she would have held it together as well.

Shaking away the thoughts she felt a sting of pain rip through her and glanced around before the smell of smoke hit her nostrils. There was a fire, somewhere in Cairo and it wasn't far off. Yet being in the alleyway she couldn't see the sky well and try to find any smoke. It was better that she didn't. She wasn't there to interfere only to find answers. If there were any. It was hard not to run towards the pain she felt. To try to stop it but it wasn't her place. She knew the rules and right then she was breaking enough of them. There would be hell to pay when she returned, especially if she went sticking her nose into more than what was already going on.

Focusing she kept looking, for anything. George had his task, she needed to finish hers and get back. Maybe she could get back before anyone noticed that she was gone. She doubted it but in her mind there was always a chance. Granted she didn't know that Gio and Bart were about to come retrieve her. Hell in the back of her mind if anyone did it would be Gilbert. Gio tended to enjoy pulling pranks on the visitors with Nancy and Bart hadn't been trained yet, so it never even occurred to her that a new Paradox could be showing up. She was ready if Gilbert showed up, had a whole speech planned. That would end up being a waste of time but then again she didn't know that. Kneeling down she ran her fingers over the blood that was soaked into the ground. This was where Peter had started to bleed out, and most likely where he had drawn his last breath.
