⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Cyril followed and gave a surprised look. "Fluffernutter ith the betht! Ithn't Jericho? Oh my bad, Jericho hath hith mouth full," Cyril said with a giggle as he noticed that the hand that wore the sock Jericho had a mouth full of trunk right then. "But he'th thurprithed ath well." Cyril was sure that Jericho would be surprised that someone didn't know what a flutternutter was. How could someone not know what flutternutter was? Had he been living on a rock the last few years?!?!

Dropping his trunk next to his sisters Jericho moved a bit and looked at Cyril and then over at Harper. "You better learn fast," Jericho chimed in as his mouth moved. Cyril wasn't paying attention as he looked around the ship. "Wow, it'th tho big." The man boy was in awe of the ship. He liked ships. "We've seen bigger." Cyril didn't care, he just followed his sister as he looked around, Jerichos button eyes turning this way and that with Cyrils hand movements.

"Well my we have a bit of a growing crowd for our dear little medical quarters. I can attend to the young rapscallion. Sisters before misters? That is the phrase is it not? Oh yes, quite. Why not take a jaunt up to Atticus's room with your sister, I have things well under control here Doctor," Jahosafat said with a broad smile as it became evident that perhaps Dorothy needed some time away from a dead body.

"Fitz was it? Welcome to my abode. How can I put your nerves at ease? Do not worry about the dead man in the corner, he shan't be any trouble I assure you. My don't you look peakide, did you eat something that did not settle well with you?" the doctor asked, getting right to the matter at hand and hopefully freeing up bot the Pender sisters for a moment so they could speak. Sometimes it was good to have a shoulder to lean on that was blood instead of one that was recently covered in the crimson fluid.

Anisa gave a nod. "Yes, I will have Harper add ya in as head of security for now. That should give ya all the access and reasonin' you need to be able to look into matters without it drawin' lots of attention. Considerin' you were able to break in without bein' noticed until you were leavin' it makes sense that you would have this job for now. You obviously have a knack for findin' weak points." Taking another long pull from her cigarette she held in the smoke as hse snuffed out the cherry on the end of the filter.

"I'll expect once a day reports oh and before you start. We have a Reaver on board," she said rather matter of factly as she took a seat behind her desk and kicked her feet up onto its edge. "Most on the ship know, minus the new comers from last night and our new arrivals that are joining us. Doesn't matter if they find out, probably better they do but I didn't want you shooting the crate out into the black. It's part of the deal to keep Moreau on the ship for now."

George remained silent as they traveled through the city and back to the barracks. He had a lot to explain and sadly could not say everything. Things had to be worded correctly. It was not that he was trying to hide anything about the piece of metal that was in Peters pocket when he died but if one was not careful during a time of loss the smallest of things could set one off. This was not something he wanted to do. He didn't want to upset the Lord Major anymore than he already was. George knew the feeling of loss. Peter might not have been blood but he did look at the man as if he was a brother. Peter had been the closest person to him other than his sister and she never could understand what they had been through during the war or after. He hoped she never would.

Thankfully the thought of death was not playing on the minds of the vendors that ran back and forth outside of the museum. There were plenty of them and rightfully so. The museum was a prime location for tourists to come and see all the treasures of Egypt. They could sell their wares for a hefty mark up, passing many worthless items off as historical artifacts. Most didn't know the difference. Many would approach Lauren while she was outside, trying to sell her trinkets or statues. To anyone that had lived in Cairo more than a month, it would be easy to spot a scam. Thankfully there were two cat meat sellers out front and they wouldn't be hard to spot. Their carts smelled of heavy burning incense to cover the smell of the meat. Both were middle ages men, one more robust than the other. The thinner one would be easier to deal with but drive a higher price. The more rotund one would be an ass to deal with but one could haggle the price down further. (Feel free to control and have fun with the haggle.)

Vera nodded slightly as she reached out to the arm of a chair to steady herself and sat down. "Set is the patron God of the Desert, of Chaos and Disorder." There was much about Set, he was a big player in the history of the mythology of Egypt. The first thing that came to her mind though was his symbol. "He is said to be the destroyer and ruled over Lower Egypt..." her words dwindling slightly as her eyes traveled around the room. "In conflict with Bastet."

Watching Lauren head out, Akhmed turned his attention back to Mosi. "Yes of course, this way," he said before leading her further into the museum and up the stairs to the second floor. As he went he explained. "That is the symbol of Set, or Seth. He was lord of the red, the desert, land where he was the balance to Horus' role as lord of the black, the soil, land. He was a skilled fighter but he killed his brother Osiris, wanting to rule over all of Egypt. Osiris was Horus's father. In the end, Set got the Lower Kingdom but he represented everything that threatened Egypt."

"Oh balderdash. Set was great and he had a right to rule as he was the decedent of Ra," the curator pipped in as they came to three statues. "Here he is crowning Ramses III with Horus."

"The same could be said for Bastet and she had much more claim to Egypt being the eye of Ra than any others," Akhmed chimed back.

Vera nodded. "Oh yes. The lioness. Cats. The Udjat. The sistrum even. She was attributed to the sun and the moon, the colors yellow, green, and gray. She was the daughter of Ra and the goddess of birth. I doubt there is much in Egypt that isn't attached to her in one way or another. She was life, while, well Set was death." Being the daughter of Ra, it made Bastet a key player in life and history or Egypt. Yet that was not a text that Josephine came across. She came across a book titled A Family Feud: The Contendings of Horus and Seth taken from the Chester Beatty Papyri.

Back at the barracks, George exited the car and waited. "Perhaps a drink is in order sir, mmm." His voice was solemn as he spoke and he kept his head down. Whether that was in respect of trying to hide his mask was up to debate but there it was. He was ready to explain once he and the Lord Major had some privacy.

I'm as happy as Negan after bashing skulls in with Lucille. Way to go peeps! We have hit the 3 years strong mark!!!
3 Years Strong!!!!

It is an amazing time for a GM when an Rp they are hosting reaches that moment when the forum reads "3 yrs ago." That event has come for The Walking Dead RP I am currently Gming. It has been an unbelievable last three years. The story started three years after the out break started and has just kept trucking. So many posts, people coming and going, people dying, people living. It has been AWESOME!

So of course I have to gush about it and all the peeps currently active in the RP! @Sigil @Morose @rivaan @FantasyChic @Nallore @ONL @Remipa Awesome @wolverbells @QT

I have got to send out a huge thank you to each and every one of them. Some like Sigil and Nallore have been there with me since the beginning, others came in mid way, some are new to the grind. And it is a grind. I am nor will I ever be an easy GM to Rp with. Their patience, dedication, and talent is awe-inspiring. I might be the GM but they are the driving force that brings this and all my Rps to life. Thank you so much to being part of this journey.

October 31st, 1943 - Wash, Rinse, Repeat

Two months have passed. Each Paradox has been working with their Trainer for the last two months. Sure you only posted about 1 day but that was so that you could get an idea of what is going down. (If we took the time to cover every day of training for two months... we'd be here for two years lol). Random generation determined the first round lasted for 2 months.

This newest update has two parts. Part 1 - Skills. Part 2 - Next round.

Skills: Now, we have a run down of what you all learned over the last two months of time while training. The dice have ruled these are the following skills that either emerged or stuck during this time for each of the Paradoxes in Training.

*This is a repeat message from before but it still holds true.
Now, you have 10 days to get your case done. Once counter hits 11, you are over. So keep that in mind. I suggest you collab these out in PM with each other or on Si to make things easier than trying to post back and forth. At the end of this case I will post again, and again, until every character has gotten a decent amount of training. At the end of each Case, once it is posted and I have reviewed it, I will roll to see what skills ~stuck~, if secondary abilities came forth, the amount of control you gained, and so forth. This is going to allow us to cover a lot of time and Rping quickly. Once Training is done, then you will go on to full assignments.

The day will start like any other day at Camp, weather is the same, layout is the same. No need to worry about much to start. Letters are left and slipped under your room doors on where to go come morning instructing you to meet your trainer at the starting location. A bell will toll over the grounds at 5:50 AM to start the day, time to be at the starting location will be listed as 6:00 AM. Start your posts waking up OR there, however you wish.

Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor. (I will be pming my students shortly.)

Skills: Survival, Pistol

Thana heard the gun shots and glanced down at her weapons. They had a choice to make. Back track or keep moving forward. Little did she know was that the powers that be were making it basically impossible for them to go back. There was a large shaking that ripped through the place. Funny thing is, when people do bad things, bad things don't always come back on them. At least not without a little bit of help. (In the way of 2 perfect nat 20 rolls in your favor... Fucking LLA loves old men.)

So how much help did everyone did just get? Well Thana didn't know, she had already decided she wasn't looking back, she was moving forward. Behind her though the work of a now dead Kiwi compounded with worn out wood floors that had been soaked with blood for years, compounded with a a straw that broke the camels back - or actually a MRE bomb on the floor finally compounded into one big Oh fuck yeah as the floor gave out - marked on the map. It took out the rest of those that were coming up behind them.

Looks like that rope is going to come in handy after all. Thana glanced back over her shoulder. She didn't know if Thalia was going to follow her or not. Beatrice was keeping watch for the old guys. Thana still wanted to make sure they could find out what they didn't know - if there was anyone else ahead. They had supplies now. She would find out about the floor eventually. Good thing she had that rope.

Scotland

Kirkpatrick House: Thomas stepped in and closed the door behind him. "Hope you are settling in fine," he started to say as he looked around, "Ms. Brennan." A slight smile came to his lips as he spoke her real name. "I'm sure my aunt has given you a list of rules and tasks and orders to follow. I am betting the biggest one is she is the boss." He ran his finger over the fireplace mantle. Rubbing his fingers together he finally looked over to her. "I want you to keep her thinking that. It is what you were hired for."

Walking over to the window he pulled back the curtain just so with the back of his hand as he looked out over the back lawn. "I need to know who she is talking to, when, what they are saying, anyone else that speaks to you, and anything else. So let's get started." Turing back to her he clamped one hand around his other wrist and eyed her. "Tell me, what do you think of our family Father."

England

London: Things were naughty, ham was good, yet did one really want to eat naughty food? It was all what they could think but those that were new knew what those that were old didn't. It was really cold, trails were cold. So old it was cold. but it would be hot, hot once again. Travel routes not traveled by the traveling in so very long. A shake of the head and a flick of the wrist, travel routes of of Europe were one of things he knew best.

"We go, no red, we go to green. Minty green, better green, northern green. Nothing naughty, all good, not mad, quicker we move the less sad." Apparently the man was better in his own mind than speaking to the public but his mind was a wonderland and he went down the rabbit hole, did he ever climb out? Climbing meant dirt, dirty dirty under the nails and in the hair, brown and black and red, no we wanted green. "Bristol!" he exclaimed. That was a bit out of the way wasn't it?

The Sea: Sailing sailing over the ocean blue. Wait, sorry, still on Ludwig mind. Okay, back on track. The ship is out to sea, the hair on the back of your neck is standing on end and on your arm as well. The small crew is on high alert but nothing can be seen as of yet then again if a Cargast was about to attack, it could be hard to be seen. If ever. And if it did, did it travel across the water or was it on the ship when they left the docks.

All these things were good questions. Yet could they be answered right then? It would be hard to think right then because even as static broke through the air the temperature started to drop and frost began to form along the railings of the ship, it dropped quick enough to even capture the moisture in the cloth of the sails and become heavier, causing them to sag instead of catching the wind when it died down a bit.

The Road North: The road is long and once they were out of town things seemed to be going alright. It was quiet as they traveled north, going as quickly as they could. What happened next was a blur as the world seemed to freeze around them, slowing actions or in this case reactions down. One could only seem to watch as the events unfolded.

And unfold they did as Myska was struck out of nowhere. Red pouring out over the white fur. Something came at them in a blur, and the sound of a shriek echoed through the air as the tiger dropped to the ground dead. Light flashed and darkness settled, it causing a strobging effect. Another shriek broke out and this time it was different. Suddenly it was all over and all felt normal again. That was accept for the fact that Myska was dead on the ground and Elizaveta was in the air again. Instead of being still this time though she was a good fifty years ahead of them and moving away quickly. Flakes of skin seemed to trail from around her, falling like snow as she was being whisked away.

Date: Monday May 23rd, 2017 - (Remember Time Zones)

Crash Site: Ross shook his head. "No but it can't be anything good." Planes just didn't go down like that, and pilots didn't just died like that. Shit like this didn't just happen. There was always a reason for it and it was never good. It was either A) someone fucked up a check, B) someone was trying to kill him, C) someone was trying to kill her, or D) something worse he hadn't thought of yet.

Moving towards the tree line he motioned for her to follow. "I'm sure you know how to duck, do it if you need to," he added quietly as they kept moving. Placing both hands on the gun he kept an eye out as they walked. He wasn't ducking down but it was surprising how quietly the man could move naturally but then again he had been at this type of work for decades. By this time of his life it would be harder to move like the rest of the world.

Funeral Home: "My pleasure, let us take a seat," David said as he motioned for them to follow him through the double doors to his right. There was a couch set up and a pair of upholstered chairs across from it with a low coffee table between them. On the tables were binders, flowers, and the ever present box of tissues. Boxes of tissues seemed to be placed on any table in the place, for good reason.

Unbuttoning his jacket he sat down and pulled a clip board from the side of the chair. "We are prepared to do as large of a service or as small of one as you want. We offer a wide range services." He seemed rather dry when he spoke, it was obvious he had been doing this for years. He was detached but that was too be expected. He couldn't afford to get emotional in this business, the toll would be too high.

"If you don't stop taking pictures of everything we do in this house I'm going to break that camera." The voice sounded angry as the front door opened and a man in running shorts come inside, followed by a younger girl with red hair carrying a camera.

"I'm making art," she said as she slammed the door.

"You're irritating everyone."

"Excuse me," David said as he stood up, giving an apologetic look before starting to scurry towards the two.

"I'm catching life as it unfolds, how you react is part of that Nate," the girl said trying to defend her actions.

"Oh that is bullshit Claire."

"Would you two hold it down, I am trying to do an intake," David said in a hushed voice as he motioned towards Priya and Riley. Claire just rolled her eyes as Nate downed half a bottle of water. He mouthed sorry before jogging up the stair case. Taking a deep breath David composed himself and turned back towards the woman. "I am very sorry for the interruption."

The Farm: Zoie hopped out of the car and ran towards the house. She had a main line and right then she didn't bars on her cell. That wasn't uncommon being out this far. Relic on the other hand crawled out of the car and was a bit slower. It was as if he couldn't decide to go towards the barn with Mali or towards the house with Zoie. In the end he picked the house. There was fear in his eyes when he looked at the flames coming from the barn.

It wasn't surprising, the barn was engulfed in flames and the sounds of the wood cracking were loud. As Mali called out there was no call back of someone answering, at least not from what one could hear right then. The sound of the fire was loud and roaring. The place was hot, really hot, but of course it was on fire. Smoke filled the place and it was nearly impossible to see anything.

"Yeah hurry," Zoie said before hanging up the phone and nearly running into her brother as she turned around.

Queensguard: Maria sat there paying with her grandson as she watched the family get to know each other, well more like it was her watching to make sure that Caesar didn't say something too horrible. Angel she wasn't worried about, the girl could take care of herself and she was more interested in food than anything else it seemed right then. "And he doesn't mean anything by it either Keystone. He's just gruff since Angel is so like Alicia was," Maria piped in as they pulled up to the complex and the gate opened for them.

Once the car was parked, Maria opened the door and stepped out, undocking the carseat before pulling it out and setting it on the ground with the boy still in it. She needed to grab the diaper bag as well as some other things. "Keystone, get your son. Caesar, the playpin. Angel, your gear," she said quickly as she grabbed her bag and the diaper bag for the baby. "I want a full run down of evens over the last 72 hours, personal interviews set up with current staff of our own and anyone else that has access to this building and..." she said as her heels clicked against the concrete. "A 1 on 1 with Elizabeth, time to have a talk with the Queen bee."

Texas/Mexico Border: The 911 call center said there were on their way but what that meant in terms of time was anyones guess. The US system of emergency rescue medicine wasn't always the best. If they were lucky the paramedics would be there in five to ten minutes, if not it could be an hour depending on how far out an ambulance was when the call came in, if they were already busy, traffic and so forth.

Natasha was getting worse, her lips were going blue under the blood that was covering them, her pale skin was going gray, her skin was cold and clammy as her body shook. She was still coughing up blood, trying to speak as she did. The word lied kept coming out. And in between that another word - it seemed to be the word two.

Sana
Location: Grounds outside of the tower.
Interacting With: Keystone/Thomas
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sana ducked and was able to get out of the way of the majority of a larger piece of stone that came from the tower, it only catching her hip as she turned. It was enough to cut some skin but after the day they had had it was of little consequence. Grunting slightly she nodded as she heard Keystone yell out he had found Thomas. Coughing from the dust she pulled up her veil around her nose to keep the majority of the dust from getting into her lungs. It was a bit late but late was better than never.

"Personally I'd rather deal with the tower than his ass," she said as she took a few more steps away from the tower. It seemed that everyone was out now, everyone but one person. Satilla. That could pose a problem. Sana was inherently a decent person, a good alignment in the grand scheme of things but she was chaotic and there was a breaking point to putting her neck on the line. She had already lost a friend today though and while she hadn't known Satilla long, the girl seemed alright.

"If that girl isn't out soon..." she began to say but let the words hang in the air as she eyed the tower.
