Current Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

Innocence Lost

John was quick to whirl around and say to the 'giant' in power armor, "What's your code? If you're with us, what's your code?"

He clearly didn't believe this man was an ally. Nor did he believe that Moonstrike would send someone to restrict their freedom to do their job however they wanted to, as long as it was successful. So he asked again, "I and The Captain will only cede control of the mission and our preferred methods of doing it if you have the appropriate command codes and proofs that you came directly from The Base."

The Base, also known as Moonstrike Base; the secret headquarters of Moonstrike.

------

Eldrid responded, "Perhaps a rival rebel group? Or Ascendancy Reinforcements?"

------

Realist said through a set of speakers: "Indeed I know you, members of Incubus. Monarch and Temptress, right? If so, have you come to destroy me on his behest? The behest of a man whose grand plans and projects go up against what his followers believe?"

That was the most logical conclusion. He had secrets that can bring down the entire Ascendancy if need be.

"If so," he continued, "I wish to inform you that others have already found out the truth, or something close to it, on their own initiative. My death will only delay the exposure of various secrets for a small while; therefore it will be of limited profit to the [REDACTED] if I die. At least, it would be of limited profit if I die now."

Realist was trying to buy time, time to be rescued.

Ashton Andrews and Flame Brooks

While Ashton was glad he wasn't going to be killed, he felt the need to do something for Wisp as it was clear that the Catboy wasn't that bad a person. That and he did try to help them before Kimura chose to sumbit to authority - a gamble that worked. So Ashton decided to do what he felt he was good at doing - talk.

Nevermind that his last attempt at speaking to Mono ended up with him being ran through; he was going to try a different approach. So, the young man audibly cleared his throat, enough for the man in the gas mask to hear. He then spoke as quickly as possible.

"Mr. Mono, sir, while I thank you for not killing us out of hand, I think it might be practical to have Wisp as well as one of your men accompany us to the interrogation; after all, he did show himself to be a skilled fire mage earlier. Now, I don't want to keep a subordinate from his superior, but a member of one of the city's important groups might not only make a notable witness to our... Debriefings. Not just that, but if something does happen, he can be on hand to burn any complications to a crisp. Basically, I think he should be with us as a further guarantee of our good behavior and to prove that we don't mean ill."

This was logically put, as much as a sixteen-year old can do logic. Flame looked at Ashton skeptically, then made his own bow to Mono before saying his own piece.

"But if this does not satisfy you, Mr. Mono," the 'sir' was ommitted, "We'll be off to our interrogations. But I'm sure that this 'Sandra Fotos' and 'Sir Walter' would understand if Wisp, their subordinate, is given a mission from another superior; the important one of watching our case." Flame then tensed, his cynicsm and misanthrophy asserting itself once more. I am going to get another sword through my heart from this, won't I?
@Eneui, Sounds fun.
@Landaus Five-One, All right, I see.
CS for Villain

Name: Osamu Akiyama

Appearance:

Age: Chronologically 5, but physically 18.

Personality: Osamu, though technically a genetically engineered artificial human, acts much like a natural-born person, though a very abnormal one. Sadistic, theatrical, and given to an outsize sense of his importance to Red-Star, the 'Coordinator' nevertheless maintains some form of self-preservation, especially when sent to 'watch' over Red-Star's subordinate commanders, who don't like him much. When around prisoners of war, Osamu loves threatening them with torture and enslavement, taking glee at the looks of terror or defiance this elicits.

Backstory: Osamu Akiyama was 'born', or rather, created, in Red-Star territory, in the Tokyo Burrow, now since taken over by Chinese Hegemony. Said takeover had been bad for the Japanese, except for the 'elites' that were co-opted by Red-Star, and those who can climb up the corporate ladder. The Scientist who had created Osamu had been one of those climbers, a scientist by the name of Suichiro Yuki, who harbored secret plans of 'liberating' Japan. And so he created Osamu, ostensibly as a new 'Superweapon' for Red-Star. Osamu would be the first class of a line of infiltrators and soldiers, who would replace 'regular' NC Pilots, being more obedient and capable all at once. However, Suichiro planned for them all to be loyal to him and him alone, so that they can take over Japan together.

Alas, it was not to be, because the secret 'bio-chips' created by Suichiro to keep his artificial humans loyal were discovered by one of his rivals, and the scientist was tortured to death just after completing Osamu. The artificial human himself was going to be scrapped, but the Red-Star executives saw use in him, and so activated and programmed him to be their 'secret weapon', an instrument of terror to wreak havoc on the other corporations. And so it has been his life ever since.

Tactical Preferences and Skills: Osamu Akiyama is an Artificial Human equipped with a 'biological computer' that can control a single NC remotely through the Neural-Net; the drawback to this is that people in NCs who are strong-willed enough can resist his control, and even 'hack back' into Osamu's brain in order to gain information from him. Osamu keeps this a secret even from his superiors, although how successful this is is up for debate.

However, Osamu does have weaknesses. Despite all the knowledge that can be downloaded into his head, he lacks practical experience, and due to the implanted memories he received from Suichiro, he tends to go for 'dramatic' solutions as well as 'rational' ones. Also, his power can, again, only control a single NC at a time, and Actual AI (if any exist) can also counteract him.

Notes: Yes, Osamu is bisexual.
<Snipped quote by Letter Bee>

I think he's asking if there can be humans who were born through interspecies relationships resulting in a natural-born hybrids. Such as if, for example, a Rau've mated with a Human.

If that's the case, then no.

@Mike the Bloodwolf

@Landaus Five-One, Cool; how many spoilers have you been given?
I'm interested but what are the rules regarding the enhanced humans? Do they have to be human or can they be part alien as well?

What do you mean Part Alien? Because they already have crushed Alien bodies injected into them in order to give them powers...
@Letter Bee

Kind of interested in this general premise. Would you let me join?

I'll be honest; every attempt we had to play with each other ended in disaster, so I think letting you into IL is a bad idea.
Innocence Lost is open again to potential players.
I am interested.
