At the message from Crazy Horse, Daniel spoke telepathically, Are the Assassins all wearing masks? If so, then they are attacking us as well - This person must have a Noble Phantasm or something allowing duplication or mass projection. Try and lure the group pursuing you to our location, then use your Anti-Army Noble Phantasm on all of them once they converge - I’ll use my Planetarium Orb and some Astrology to make sure you don’t accidentally hit us or we don’t accidentally hit you! That, and I also plan to use my telepathic and sensory connection to you guys to see what you see -

As Daniel saw through Don Juan’s vision, he was distracted by the sight of the female Assassin duplicate(?)’s mask being blasted off by a flipping’ Origin Bullet. The sight of the Eldritch Horror underneath the mask was thus made less terrifying and nightmarish by the warmth and enthusiasm which flooded him as he realized who was there - Kiritsugu Emiya, the famed Magus Killer. If Daniel hadn’t been in Auto’s bag, he would have danced for joy, and maybe even gotten himself mistaken for one of the Past Masters in that Holy Grail War and worthy of death as ‘competition’.

Daniel wasn’t completely blind - He was a Magus himself and Kiritsugu was a Magus Killer. Admiration for the latter won’t stop him from killing Daniel if it was ‘for the greater good’ or if Daniel got in his way. So he messaged his Servants a new set of tactics and a strategy behind them - A method to save the maximum amount of lives from this Assassin. Saber! Support and protect the guy who was shooting at the Assassins - Signal to him that you are a friend, but keep watch for if he tries to turn against you! My own Assassin - Autocylus - Keep me hidden until we get a signal that we can trust the shooter!

Now to apprise Rider of the situation, Rider, we have a new potential ally, I’ll use my Planetarium Orb and Astrology to make sure that you don’t hit us or that guy by accident as well! Then once the army of Assassins is defeated, prepare for a fight or negotiation with the potential ally - He’s someone we can’t kill because it’d affect the integrity of the timeline!

And sure enough, Daniel began using his Planetarium Orb to calculate the most auspicious time for Rider to strike, the most auspicious moment to use his Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. Then he sent the exact coordinates and the exact second-from-now that Rider should strike to the guy.

Now, for the final orders - Note that every communication between him and the Servants was sent to all of them so that they didn’t step on each other’s feet. Now, Kiritsugu usually has an assistant with him - He isn’t a lone wolf. He also has a habit of planting explosives in the area around him. Assassin - Autocylus - While keeping me hidden, try and find any traps he has set as well as his assistant, who is a soldier as well who would gladly shoot me if I were a threat. But do it only if the threat from the enemy Assassin and their duplicates has been reduced.

A faint memory, Also, one of the remaining reports I saw about Kiritsugu was that he was a Master in the Fourth Grail War as well? If so, and I hate to say this, but Steal his Command Seals if he tries to summon a Servant. Then an afterthought. Oh! And those enchanted bullets are Origin Bullets, they can detonate Magus’ Magic Circuits upon contact! And as seen, they can affect Servants as well!

Two months later, I still love this RP's unique take on Final Fantasy 7, but I've acquired three other RPs on this site and four other games on other sites and I am burning out. So, I guess I'll say farewell for now - Thank you for all the fun times you've given me.

I hope to see you all again in the future.

Cynthia nodded, then was blunt, “Virgil has recruited Vane - That traitor. So I am recruiting people to fight against Virgil as well now that that prick actually has some serious muscle on his side - Arturo is a fraud whose Noble Arm merely makes him immune to the negative effects of drugs and steroids.” She looked at Nikolay, “So, I have to ask, how strong are you? I know that the electric boy here is strong,” she was referring to Nathaniel. “And are you guys willing to help?”

A pause, “Know that Virgil is a cancer to the school and so are his rich friends - They intentionally buy out the high-end facilities and simulation rooms so that people better than them cannot rise to the top. And Vane sold himself out to get stronger instead of banding together with us to unseat the guy. So we beat him up and string him up by his underwear from a flagpole as an exercise in humiliation… Unless the resident teacher has another idea on how we can deal with this matter...”

Pablo took Jeim’s hand and, after seeing that they were now reasonably private, kissed him full-on on the lips. Then he pulled away, smiled, and said, “I was never sure that this moment was real, that this moment would come at all. But now that I see that you’re sincere,” even without my power, I can see you are sincere now, “All I can say is that I love you too. Jeim, I can’t resist it anymore, be mine and I will be yours’.”

I am now fighting against your mentor, Jeimseu Izgawi. I am now counterbalancing him, hoping against hope I can give you a healthier experience than others are willing or able to give. But I worry… Am I just using you like your Mentor is, or do I really love you? I hope it’s the latter, I hope that I can show you a better way than the Hammer could, that we can all coexist in peace.

The Senators’ coming. Delayed for a week. Does that mean that she can try and join the ad-hoc bodyguard detail tasked with protecting the politicians for when they did come? If so, Cynthia mused as she ate, maybe she can do something to prove to the bodyguard detail that she was good enough to join them, then? But first, she had to see Vane, the guy who she and Pablo had met just earlier - She still had to challenge him to a spar.

So the young woman began looking for Vane, musing about how she was going to have a fun fight… Until she saw him go into one of the high-end training facilities - The ones bought out by Virgil. That only meant one thing: The Mestizo (which in the Philippines, was a term used for some of the privileged upper class) was trying to use divide-and-conquer tactics on the rest of the student body, and had won Vane over to blatant treachery (the fact that Vane was not on her side in the first place was conveniently forgotten). Damn that meathead - She was going to trounce him one day!

But first, Cynthia had to bide her time - Rash action would only result in needless casualties. So she went to the gym first, hoping to find the student bodyguards as well as other folk who can potentilaly help her against Vane, Virgil, and their cronies...

As he waited, Daniel took out his Planetarium Orb, sending a surge of prana through it in order to cause the planets, the sun, and other celestial bodies represented to move at will. This was in an attempt to divine the present and the future… Only to find the planetary alignment ominous as heck, with a comet flashing through the orb’s exterior for good measure. Bad things were going to happen, and it showed as one of his servants - Assassin? - moved to protect him from suddenly-thrown daggers by pushing him to the ground before snatching him into his bag.

At Autocylus’ instructions, Daniel sent a telepathic message and said, All right. And I’ll alert Don Juan - I want him to be safe as well. I’ll also search my brains for information on the enemy Assassin.

Then he sent his thoughts to Saber/Don Juan, saying, I’m all right! Assassin/Autocylus saved me! Hold out until we can offer help!

Final Fantasy 7 Redone

Akira felt the rush of victory as he realized that his gamble had paid off, albeit not the way he had expected it to. Now he was going to take a lunch break, eat, and then help around after saying his prayers to the Planet - And by that, he meant he planned to check up on Kanade using Half-Cetra communion. So after a trip to the cafeteria, the young man ate some meat, porridge, and potatoes, along with a few rare vegetables a grateful cook gave him. And of course, purified water distilled from rain. Life seemed to be good right now, with a respite from his troubles.

Said respite lasted until he went back to his quarters for a bit, and comuned with the Planet in order to see that Kanade was still in trouble, and so were two people who seemed to be AVALANCHE members. And there was no way for him to help them, not right now, at any rate. So the young man focused on trying to help the other mercenaries in Fort Condor repair the broken defenses, heal those who still needed medical aid, and help out the clerks and other folk with inventory. He was going to distract himself from his inability to help Kanade by helping out, all the while relying on her to overcome what challenges Shinra threw at her.

Kanade was strong, as strong as Jessie was, although the two women had different areas of expertise. Speaking of Jessie, he should approach her some time soon, she seemed to be stressed as she tried to call her fellow operatives - Her friends? - presumably from the higher points of Fort Condor, where there was the best illegal cell reception.

So when Akira finally had the time to go up to where Jessie was, whether she was near the entrance or the highest accessible decks, he walked towards her and asked, "Hey, umm... Jessie, are you okay? If not, what's the problem?"

He wasn't going to add 'if there is any' or 'is it AVALANCHE business?', because that was rude. Instead, he was going to say, "Also, I think I forgot to introduce myself - My name is Akira, Akira Ayumu. Don't spread that last name around, though. Just in case people believe it's from a certain enemy nation..."

Bio: A member of Iliad’s official armed forces who has fought with distinction in border actions despite his youth, Louen de Breton is the officer tasked with making sure that the Alien, Shah, doesn’t escape his laboratory.

Mundane Skills: Melee, Marksmanship (Rifles of all types), Cooking, Poetry, and Explosives. He is also adept at riding Horses.

Assume Louen has a pistol, a dagger, an assault carbine, and a sniper rifle, as well as five grenades.

Magic:

Artificial Lifeform: Pegasi (Equipment) - Iliad’s Government issues permits to Magi to create artificial lifeforms to aid its soldiers in combat, on the condition that said life forms must be biologically stable and healthy and able to live a life without pain.

One of these life forms is a Pegsus, a white, winged horse whose feathers are saturated with magical energy which allow them to manipulate wind magic, allowing for flight and basic combat. Louen’s own steed is well-cared for, which shows in its strength, health, and willingness to fight for its owner and follow him even to certain death.

’Merciful’ Damage - With a moment of concentration, Louen can make it so that his guns, grenades, and other explosives do not inflict damage on living creatures, instead causing incapacitating pain. Non Living materials are damaged as normal.

’Tranquilize’ - With another moment of concentration, Louen can make it so that his guns, grenades, and other explosives inflict a feeling of overwhelming drowsiness on living creatures instead of causing physical damage. Non Living materials are damaged as normal.

Repairing Touch - With a touch, Louen can do basic repairs on guns using magic.

Ammo conjuration - Louen can create bullets using the raw energy of magic, which is more cost-effective than just using ‘mystic bolts’ when bullets can be stored in one’s belt while magical energy can’t.

Stun Rune - Engraves a rune onto a flat surface which is charged with a single spell, a single spell released by the presence of someone Louen has not already memorized as a friend. This spell, when released, sends a surge of dark energy which stuns those it touches, freezing their muscles...

Personality: Loyal to the Iliad City Government, skeptical of Marduk and Ishtar’s ambitions.
