The War of the Three
~The Forges of Alt Signia~

~Conclusion~

The Battle for the Angelic Forges of Alt Signia began and ended with a bang, and while all sides tried to achieve some success from the conflict, one does come out the clear winner beyond the others.

The Machina had accomplished their goals of acquiring the Ruthria resources and suffered the least casualties. More importantly, while it was not through their doing, the Angelic Base was rendered inoperable both above ground and below, forcing the Dwarven the inhabitants that survived to leave their homes and search for a new mountain to rebuild.

Within 24 hours of this exodus, tectonic activity reached a critical point that terminated in the eruption of the local Volcano, burying Alt Signia beneath a sea of burning crimson and all the weaponry that hadn't been carried out by hand therein. While this has removed a notable measure of control over the local angelic territory, it is still to deep past the border for either the Machina or Demons to take any ground at the moment.

As for the Demons, there choice in Commander by the oft derided King Rufus had cost them any glory in battle, but with it being Miyu that had put the final nail in the coffin, few could argue with the results. Their objectives where achieved to some degree, with the second largest portion of resources carried away by a tide of maggots, Henry Pearl Avarati, and two STLTH units whose self destruct functions were disabled immediately on acquisition. They wouldn't be bragging about this battle any time soon, but they had not failed either, and were the only side to take any captives. Having both Grafdakka and Endian captive proves a substantial boon to their cause, and it came through the efforts of a horny succubus.

The Angels suffered the worst in this engagement. Many valiant souls fought to preserve Alt Signia from invaders, one even going so far as to offer the olive branch to preserve the dignity of all those gathered, but it was not enough. Sabotage, miscommunication, and excessive collateral damage broke the base's defenses and crippled it beyond repair, leaving Heaven without a major manufacturing hub in its resource network. With time a new base can be established, all the better with the health and safety guidelines laid out by Diana after her erroneous efforts to hinder infiltrator, but in the present they will suffer a drop in efficiency.

Now the battle is done, and those left return home to those who have already resurrected in order to rest, recuperate, and plot their next moves.

They would not have to wait long, for three missives were making their way through back channels, and would soon come to rest before the thrones of the three leaders. What they contained would be a mystery to Eos, a dire omen to Deva, and a grim opportunity for Rufus, but what that meant would be discovered soon enough...

Alright, give me a bit to get it done. Had to sort out some PMs before I could finally conclude with a War post today.
Wow, who would have thought Himiko could be as cute as loli Jack the Ripper meeting her new mom. Almost brings a tear to the eye, until their Master's realize History's most prolific mass murderer is now best friends with a demon summoning Queen who rules her lands with an iron fist.

Ain't nothing bad going to happen here...
@Grombus

yes, go ahead
@Mega Birb

We're going to be skipping ahead and ending the round, so consider this the warning to get your licks in while you can before we go to intermission. Not really a 24 hour warning, but tomorrow, the Battle of Alt Signia will be concluded in its entirety.

So if Torag wants to take up Suparna's offer, or react to stuff exploding, then best hurry.
@Grombus
Sorry for the wait. Took some time to get multiple people to look things over.

Since Windel puts it best, i'll just convet his words on the matter:

First off he needs to format this into paragraphs. Second, he needs to be clear how this guy got into the Nexus. Purple prose is fine but he needs to be clear for the GMs.

Needs to explain what the purpose of the mist going in people does.

His insanity ability is hard to do because aside from NPCs, there's no one weak willed. Unless we say he has to get permission from a character's creator to use it on them.

Needs to explain what a Midnight Shore is.

Needs to explain Dark So Deep.
TheWindel

While we can appreciate making some stylistic decisions, being so vague in a competitive setting isn't doing anyone any favors, so some elaboration would be appreciated.
Will post over weekend
Lorelai

The Abyssal Knight could now join the cadre of knight's before her who could record a first hand account of their interactions with the Last Beastkin. Contrary to her hopes, Ruxen seemed to corroborate ever known testimonial in regards to her etiquette and decorum, though had acted against the commonly held belief she was a brute without any sense of reason by agreeing to help them for a rather perverse price. Perhaps Lorelai's natural affinity for animals had won her over where others failed, or it could have also been the rather peculiar situation which allowed such a partnership to form, but there wasn't any time to waste by looking a gift hound in the mouth.

"You can piss wherever you want so long as you get us to freedom- Pardon, but what was that about other beasts?" Lorelai removed her hands from Ruxen's sides and instantly took ahold of her sword and tome, readying herself to react to any threat that may be coming to claim Crimson Knight and her cadre, yet her eyes and ears detected nothing approaching from either end of the tunnels. So busy was she in contemplating whether Ruxen's hearing was either so good she heard the soldiers from far, far away, or so horrid she was mistaken, that Lorelai wasn't prepared for the truly unconventional monster attacking in the stead of Imperial Soldiers.

Those few who believed to be under the gaze of an outside force were correct, but even their considerable experience and natural instinct could do little to warn them of the threat in the water, for it was the very substance flowing down the channel amidst the sewage. A viscous mass, thick and without any defining characteristic beyond the refuse floating inside, rose up an inch over the channels edge. In seeming defiance of gravity it shot forth, stretching itself into sheet along the cobbled sewer stones with startling speed that would have alerted any looking towards it its presence.

It was a Slime, and it struck out to encase the feet of the most obvious prey among the group. Perhaps, if they were so fortunate to receive the privilege of living long enough to look back in hindsight, then Tori would marvel at her good fortune.

As it was, the slime clutched onto the woman whose blood was spilled so profusely in the Cathedral's collapse and tugged upon her feet to drop her to the ground and drag her to roaring current of sewage.

@KoL@TheWindel@McFazzer
@Ryonara Guh.. Why does everyone have to work so hard to try to convert/steal Miyu? Seriously, Henry twice, Grafdakka once, and now Shizuka? What makes her such a tempting prize when you KNOW she's going to backstab you?

You clearly do not know how effective the Machina are. I still have to make Endian's sexcapes canon somehow so the she can recover her true potential.......
@Lonewolf685 Miyu did not start Machina. She is an angel who stole some Machina tech.

Anyway, my reasoning there is you can't pretend to work for another side, kill yourself, and respawn behind enemy lines. Angel of Death respawning Miyu still in heaven is a piece of evidence for her still being on there side.

I think.
