Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Mamoru Aksha

Mamoru continued to cuddle Reina, but as Acion talked about Mamoru she smiled and gave Acion a peace sign. ”Aw, thanks Accy! But there ain’t much to learn from me! It’s all about guts really. I’d show Reina a thing or two but we all know she’s got guts. Well, maybe if she could take a compliment and have more confidence in herself. In that case I got a lot of work to do!” Mamoru said cheerily. Seems like nothing gets this girl down.

Reina started to speak up, seeming more accepting of everyone’s love and affections. This made Mamoru even more happy, though she knew that for someone like Reina she’d still need as much support as Mamoru could give her. Eventually Reina would have to be able to walk on her own two feet, confidently, but until them Mamoru would lend her hand as much as it took. There was only one slight issue. ”Hey now, Aksha-san is my mom! Call me Mamoru-chan. And I’ll call you Reirei! Hmm… No, that’s not really good. But I’ll think of something!”

As Mamoru continued to snuggle with Reina she overheard Lysander’s big speech. Mamoru refrained from saying something snappy towards him, she was too busy coddling Reina. She just smirked and whispered to Reina. ”One day it’ll be you saying stuff like that. But you won’t sound as silly.”

As everyone from Class A1 were mingling and talking to each other, the class from A2 was returning to their class. They came back from their training too, many of them bandaged and wounded but still jolly. It was a large mass of students who filled into their class, many of whom were quite surprised to see the window broken. A bit of panic rose before the class president managed to calm them down and told them that she'd contact the teachers and figure out what happened. Meanwhile she made a few of the students clean the place up and quickly calmed down everyone down. "Check your things and make sure nothing was stolen. We'll figure out what happened soon enough!"

Shortly after Donny and Jett came back into their room, another person walked in and took a seat. He just took a seat and checked on his cellphone, looking around the class and listening in on what everyone was doing. Then he took out some headphones and listened to music while everyone just kept mingling. He wondered when lunch was.
Orchid was at first surprised at Escobert's aggression, only to narrow his eyes at him with a bit of anger himself. Was this how the dwarf treats the heroes of Greenest? Orchid was not normally a prideful person and didn't care too much for reputation, but he didn't like people who were mean to him. Fortunately Escobert at least conceded that he was simply busy, which Orchid could understand, and that he'll have something ready for Orchid by tomorrow morning. It'll have to do. "Okay!" And just as quickly as he came Orchid ran off and left Escobert back to his work.

Walking back through the keep Orchid seemed to be in high spirits. Tomorrow he'll be fully rested, better equipped, and would set off to hunt down those cultists. He wondered what became of the others as the half-orc hasn't seen neither hide nor hair of them since Brannor had came back from his duel. Speaking of Hide, Orchid still had his drakehide tanning somewhere in the keep. He hoped no one had knocked it over or disturbed it since he left. That would make him really sad. As Orchid wandered he spotted the familiar faces of Torus and Kyra talking to an unfamiliar monk. Orchid didn't catch anything they were saying as the monk started walking away. Filling the empty void the monk left, Orchid turned to the others with a look of curiosity. "What happened?"

Then let what happens, happens. You can put the blame on me and let's move on.
I'm not trying to be an ass about semantics, the wording and the context of those words really did give me the impression that it was okay to attack the clock tower, it's just that Wolf's dispelling specifically wouldn't be able to stop it.

As I said, it's the usual business. Miscommunication. Would you rather have me have Grafdakka try to drill Helena while she's so close to Bonesword and Endian's allies?
Looking back on it, I thought she meant that Wolf's dispelling on the clock tower wouldn't work, not that we shouldn't attack it. She never specifically said not to attack it.

Edit: And while hitting Helena herself with Reality Break might actually kill her (Big might), as long as she's teleporting around the place I doubt I can land a hit until Wolf can shut down her telespamming.
We were not suppose to attack the clock? I don't remember being told that. I just figured that the clock was one of the only "real" things around here that could be attacked at all, though Grafdakka's Reality Break might be able to do something if it hits.

Either way, business as usual, no? You try to tell us hints to the fight, communication failure, end the fight with massive casualties and disappointment, blame is tossed, move onto the next fight. Same old same old.
Have fun with that *Finger guns*
Yeah that can happen.

Tricking other players is fine, but the GMs should always be able to tell the difference, because they're the ones who decide whether it's allowed or not.

True, but I tend to run into this problem a lot where the players I'm trying to trick are the GM's. Still doesn't change much, aside from the usual reactions when people realized they e been duped or played a fool.

@Lucius Cypher
Question about the swords.

Do they automatically gravitate back to BS? Because if they do I wanna try some Zenyatta shit.

Yes they do. Until you try to control them (as a Machina soldier Bonesword can do this with his mind, everyone not a Machina cannot do this) they just default to throwing themselves at threats. If you want them to do something even if it could endanger you, they'll follow your commands.

So feel free to make Helena experience tranquility or what-have-you.
Honestly, the misunderstanding is intentional. After all if I just said "btw this is an illusion" then everyone and their dogs will ignore them. By keeping it vague but also questionably possible then people will react to them as if they're real. Especially types like Helena who "shouldn't" be hurt, yet still are, so they'll either need to decide if Fran is just faking it (she is) or if she's actually capable of hurting them (she is).

After all it's a pretty shonen tactic to have the big talker have to try to maintain the illusion that he's as strong as he says he is, and somehow or another through trickery, cunning, and sometimes even real strength, he manages to prove his worth. That's what Fran is here to do, in this character development battle arc.

Tl:dr in order to trick your characters, I need to be able to trick you.
