The Swablu's soothing chime washed over Olivie's poison-wracked body like a seaside side. Inexplicably, and even more miraculously for want of any conceivable explanation, the serene soundwaves ate away at her affliction. An invisible scourge, the bell toll chased out the toxins within her, and in only a few moment the bruiser's illness was gone. Of course, this amazing recovery did not improve her overall health; it only expunged the poison. As such, she rolled over onto her back and lay in the leaf litter, shaking. Tommy, having observed that she gushed forth noxious purple bubbles no longer, began to question her.

First things first—Olivie sent him a withering glare. “Uh, hello. Can't you see I'm practically on death's door? A little concern would be nice, Tooter!” Even in the strangest situations, she prided herself on her ability to come up with annoying nicknames. This one pleased her in particular. ”But whatever. This chick got hypnotized to hell, and when I came along, she was singin' and dancin' along in a whole herd of flashy mushrooms. Barnie had Scylla over there poison me to keep from getting' kooky too.” She turned her anger toward the Tentacruel and Bisharp, each of whom sported a unique mixture of indifference and amusement. ”Thanks, guys, by the way. I get that Barnie's your trainer, but c'mon, a little help?” Scylla bunched up her tentacles into two strands and made a movement reminiscent of a shrug. Olivie turned up her nose. ”Well, I'm gonna have Barnie dock your treats or something, so the human'll be getting' the last laugh. Huh!”

Having realized that her self-aggrandizement and criticisms came from a comically low position, Olivie heaved herself to her feet unaided. A new sensation suffused her that couldn't be helped by any Pokemon. With the pain fading away, Olivie found that she was utterly exhausted. A yawn forced its way out of her mouth. ”Ugh! What a night! And here I was thinking that we'd be in Stillwater before sunset. Time to...get back to town...” She took a quick look around. No fairies in sight, fortunately. Her Nidoran looked pretty beat, too. On second glance, she spotted Verrine face-down in the dirt. When Olivie rolled her Pokemon over, she found the Karrablast sound asleep, thanks to the Morelull no doubt. With a sigh that threatened to erupt into another yawn, she returned her Pokemon. Through tired, irritable eyes she examined the other trainers. ”Okay...so, which way outta here?”

With practiced patience Indigo awaited Ashlyn's next batch of conversation. Evidently perplexed, or at least stymied, by the news of the General's absence, the pyromancer took her time baking her idea before putting it into words. She did not anticipate the sudden depth behind Ashlyn's question, however. In fact, her words gave Frenzy Plant's Librarian a long pause as she put together her own response, which required her to leaf through the metaphorical archives of her guild knowledge. What did Frenzy Plant have to say about second chances? There wasn't a wall in the fortress it occupied with an encouraging slogan or proclamation on it. Then again, Ashlyn didn't ask about Frenzy Plant; she asked what Indigo thought. This realization forced the sorceress to reassess her answer.

”I believe,” she said after a moment in a low tone, ”That the past is in the past. If someone truly regrets what he or she has done, and wishes to repent, then that one is already on the path to redemption. But it's not, of course, something that a person gets for free. One must demonstrate that they've acknowledged his or her wrongdoing and then strive to earn forgiveness. Then a second chance is assured.”

Another note entered her voice, flat like the sentence of a judge. ”But one whose heart and soul do not feel remorse, and who wish to gloss over wrongdoing or forget about it, or to blind others to it so that it may be repeated, are worthy of punishment alone.”

I've actually considered Lucius a co-GM for some time. He's done more in that regard than Harine, who is listed as a co-GM. In terms of new candidates, I think that both Narayan and Write would offer a lot that the rest of us don't have enough of. I'd honestly like to hire the both of you.

Continue to discuss, if you have more to add, and I'll keep considering the matter. It's a lot to reflect on, even if some very good choices are staring me in the face.

Guess, weren't you a co-GM for a little while a while back? I dimly remember something to that effect. To be perfectly honest, though, I would not think of officially promoting you over Write or Narayan.

I'm gonna throw out a possible solution that I don't know how much you're all going to like but in the interest of saving y'all let's keep it simple so you don't have to read a ton.

Lugu hires a new co-gm to work alongside Hari, and Prince. Not only do we have a ton of writing for three people with lives to cover. I think many many RP's have three co-gms as it helps cover worlk load.

If this plan were to gain traction, I'd say Lugu you should open yourself up to the old PM me an application system.

I would be amenable to the idea of hiring another GM. As they say: if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself, right?

In my post-finals stupor I am a little confused by your last sentence. Are you putting yourself forward as a nominee?

As for process, the way we decided GMs to begin with is that people just wrote a short paragraph why they wanted to be GM and think they'd be good for the job, and if I approved of their behavior and activity, I'd approve.

I was worried I would cause a little bit of discord but I wasn't quite expecting it to be to this extent; Prince contacted me last night about it and we were under the impression there was still room.

If the issue's been resolved already I'll just back out now; sorry for the confusion. If anything ever opens up in the future I'll be interested.

Well, it wasn't a rule change per se, but some advice and stuff. I did make an @everyone alert after updating it, though I concede that it would have been wiser had I manually mentioned every member.

Hi, I was summoned here by @Prince of Seraphs under the impression there was an open spot that I'd have to contest. I've got a character in mind already, though I'm hoping there'd be a consensus on the spot before going any further. I don't have much experience with RWBY, but I've been briefed on the general ideas and I'm quite interested in the whole equipment aspect of things.

@NarayanK I don't want to make any more teams. May I ask why you were writing in small print? Even with my contacts, it's a little harder to read than normal.

NPCs cannot be used for anything (except by the players of team mates if the NPC is in a team) without my approval, and even then, any kind of dubious action will not be smiled upon.
