Jasmine awoke with a loud yawn and tired stretch...just how long had she been asleep? Yesterday had been so tiring after getting lost looking for her parents, then the whole darkness creature incident. Although Robin seemed like an ok chap.
Looking out the window she realised it was at least midday and shook her head. Her parents would kill her for sleeping in so late....oh right, she needed to find them! She was sure Penny could help, especially as it would seem that Cody had left already.
Getting up and stretching some more she got changed into her now dried dress which she usual wore, but it had gotten soaked yesterday so she was happy it was fine and dry now.
She did her hair before leaving the room....now what? She had no idea how to find Penny.

That sight hinderince is a huge thing to Cody actually, his magic pretty much depends on his field of vision (it's the major factor, there are a few minors ones which also have a big influence).
In fact movement constriction was something Cody wanted to avoid as well, another big factor of his magic is reflex/reaction speed and movement speed. So plate armor was pretty much always out of the equation. (The other factors are pretty much time, distance, magical power
So that was probably a factor in @Zarkun choosing chainmail. Also Cody still has a largish sum of jewels from his foster parents before their death (he was in a rich family you know) and taking odd jobs, so price isn't a huge factor (as long as it doesn't cost like a 1,000,000,000 jewels or something stupid XD).

"It's ok...just glad I didn't stuff something up for a change." Cody replied with a dismissive wave at Ariel's gratitude. He was happy to see that something he had done worked for once, unlike the last couple of days....or years. He wasn't a klutz, but he did seem to have an ineptitude at succeeding.
He stiffened up nervously as he suddenly felt Nolan's hands all over his body, his face going a little red from the embarrassment of being suddenly felt up, before sighing in relief when Nolan remove his hands.
He had just began to relax before he felt the sharp backhand slap from Nolan on his stomach. It didn't hurt persay, but it did leave a stinging sensation.
"I can easily run a mile or two...." Cody grumbled in annoyance before catching the armor thrown towards him....it was lot lighter than expected.
He had expected something a lot heavier, obviously not super heavy like plate armor, but still some sort of weight. But this felt like he was simply carrying a feather pillow in his arms.
However James had mentioned some form of enchanted armor earlier hadn't he?
"Weight enchantment?" Cody asked as he turned to face James with a rather confused look. It was the only thing which made sense to him.
