@Appalo
So before I respond to your post, a quick question. I thought it was that are characters were already roommates and that the school season had already started. If I completely misconstrued the setup for the RP than my bad.

@Argetlam350
Could you confirm if that this is before classes started or we are already into the semester. I would like to get that right before I make a post that is completely wrong.
Chase Robinson

Professor Abraham was clearly shaken as Chase walked over to him. He made mention of visiting Kylie once he learned where she was. But Chase knew that assumed that she was still alive. However Chase respected the Professor’s positive thinking, as the police still hadn’t revealed what exactly happened to his classmate. The Professor then floated the idea of making a well wishes card.

“Sure Professor Abraham. She would probably appreciate it,” replied Chase.

Truthfully Chase was still unsure if she was even still alive. But part of sending well wishes would be to believe that she was well. So Chase decided to go with believing that she was alive, and that he would get the chance to ask her out. As Chase thought this over, two more of his classmates walked over to him and the Professor.

The Professor then mentioned a job of clearing out some storage space. While Chase was already going to agree, as it was something to get his mind off the whole situation with Kylie, the deal was sweetened even more by the mention of extra credit. While Chase was pretty sure that he was doing well in the class, it never hurt to bump up his grade a little bit.

“I have time today available,” responded Chase, “Would we be going now or later?”

Chase hoped it was now. He really wanted to get out of the gymnasium and away from the police officers. Chase glanced at the two other students, really wishing that they were alright with leaving immediately.
The dull throbbing in Kurt’s back continued as he booted up his mobile suit. The modified, beat up Graze hummed with energy as its computer systems turned on, the HUD appearing in front of Kurt. As the mobile suit came alive, Kurt placed his normal suit helmet on his head, completing his readiness for sortie.

As he placed his hands on the controls, Kurt and his Graze was lowered onto the catapult deck. As the feet of the purple mobile suit was lined up on the tracks of the catapult, Kurt took a deep breath in, still feeling the Alaya Vijinana System connection course throughout his body.

Kurt then announced himself on the comms channel, “Kurt, taking off in the Graze.”

Kurt’s Graze then shout out from the catapult, following his comrades into space. Kurt gritted his teeth against the G-force, trying to keep his hands stable on the controls. Once the Graze was a decent ways away from the Mercurial Witch, Kurt looked at his display, currently seeing nothing but space debris.

Mick then sent over the wave signature of the mobile suit they were looking for. But before Kurt could thank him, the Captain told the pilots to stay on their leash and remember where they have to return. Through gritted teeth, Kurt said a yes captain over the comms.

Holly then took the lead, being the first to get a visual on the mobile suit. According to Mick it was a Schwalbe Graze, a rare mobile suit. All Kurt knew about that suit is that it was a better version of his Graze, especially since his was not in pristine condition. But what was more interesting to Kurt was the Gjallarhorn ship. Usually they didn’t bother to patrol this area.

Martyn then offered a possible scenario, that Gjallarhorn was looking for something of value. While it was an interesting idea, Kurt was dubious about it. Usually the best you found in the debris field was some spare parts or maybe an engine if you were lucky. But Martyn kept with his idea, saying that they should take the pilot of the Schwalbe Graze alive. He then gave some orders, to which Kurt wondered who made him commander. But he followed the commands, seeing that unity would be needed in this battle.

Kurt guided his Graze Cosmo to along the sides of the Gjallarhorn mobile suit, raising his old 120mm rifle. As Kurt flanked the yellow Graze variant, Thom said he felt like something big was going to happen. Kurt hoped that the fellow Graze pilot was wrong. Given how hard their last battle had been, Kurt wished that this one would be as simple as a five on one.

“Just be ready,” said Kurt over the comms channel, “We don’t know if they have any other suits to sortie.”

As Kurt spoke, he caused his mobile suit to raise its rifle, trying to line it up with Schwalbe Graze. He then continued to take deep breaths, ready to fire as soon as the battle began.
@CaptainManbeard
Glad you like my character. I do have a second character in mind, basically the Jimmy Hudson Wolverine from Ultimate Marvel. I've wanted to play him for a while and this seems like the right RP for him.

The number one editing trick to catch these sorts of things is to verbally read your post out loud. When reading in your head, your brain autocorrects things without you realizing and you're bound to miss mistakes. Reading out loud allows you to hear each word and syllable so you can notice when something doesn't sound correct, and then can fix it accordingly. I can confidently say that doing that will catch 99% of all errors made during the writing process.

I do know about this practice as I did it with school work or anything official. However, as I RP for fun I kind of neglected doing this. But I should probably do this with my posts as it would probably strengthen my writing as a whole. Thanks for bringing up this technique guys.
Hey Crimson Flame. It's cool to see you play Billy and Tommy in this, as my RP is on hold.
So I’m interested in this as well. One question I have is how many characters are we allowed to play. Right now I only have an idea for one character.

Basically he’s Peter Quill, but instead of his father being the King of Spartax or Ego the living planet, his father is Darkhawk, a member of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard. As a young teenager Peter was abducted from Earth by the Starjammers, pirates looking for his father. Peter ends up inheriting the Darkhawk amulet, allowing him to become the Darkhawk. Peter returns to Earth and becomes a superhero, helping form the super team the Guardians of the Earth.
@Prisk
So I also didn't realize that this was supposed to be a fully original world. So now Liam is from the city of Red Heights, his mom is from the nation of Nihon, while his father is of Moriadine descent. I'm assuming that he is from the west coast of whatever the main country is. As for his age in relation to the comet, I was aware that he would of been 13 at the time, just about to start high school. So I've edited the sheet in the previous post, please let me know if anything requires changing. Also Extreme Ways is an awesome song that I discovered through the Jason Bourne movies.
"The shots did indeed the Hulk"

Wow they indeeded the hulk? These guys are cuhrazy!

Small typo i know but it was kinda funny

Thanks for pointing that out. I have a really bad habit of skipping words when I'm writing, and sometimes my brain causes me to miss them again when giving a post a look over. But yeah, I indeeded the Hulk.

Reprise of Destruction

1.03: Let slip the beast

Bruce Banner shuddered as the stream of hot blood touched his face. As it dripped off his eyes, Bruce could now see that the blood trickling down on him was coming from Rick Jones’ left arm. The junior S.H.I.E.L.D. agent moaned in pain as his right hand grasped the wound on his left side.

“Fuck,” muttered Rick before speaking into Bruce’s ear, “We need to move, or we will be dead in seconds.”

As the junior agent spoke, he pulled himself and Bruce to their feet, another shot ringing out but missing its target. The bleeding Rick Jones managed to lead his friend past the green field, taking refuge behind the large metal body of the Quinjet. As the pair hunkered down, Rick pulled his firearm from its holster.

“I counted at least two shooters. What about you Bruce?” asked Rick.

But Bruce didn’t respond, his mind not present in this situation. His entire focus was on his breathing. As he tried to properly remember the techniques Dr. Samson had taught him, Bruce found his breaths getting shorter and more labored. Meanwhile in his chest, Bruce was feeling the raging presence of the Hulk. It took all of Bruce’s willpower to force the Hulk back into the pit of his body.

“Rick, you got to go,” said Bruce through labored breaths, “He’s going to get loose. I can’t let him out.”

“I mean would that be a bad thing?” questioned Rick, “The Hulk could take these guys out.”

“But he wouldn’t stop there. He just creates tragedy,” explained Bruce.

It was as Bruce was talking that he realized that the shooting had stopped. Looking over at Rick, he saw that he had realized it as well. Rick rose to his feet, his gun at the ready. Bruce gingerly got to his feet as well, still forcing the Hulk down. Rick then dared to peak his head around the side of the Quinjet, only to be immediately shot at.

“Damn it, run Bruce,” stated Rick as he pumped his legs.

Bruce had only a second of seeing the squad of men carrying assault rifles, before he turned and ran after Rick. The two men ran into the nearby forest, the massive redwood trees granting them cover from the team of what seemed to be black ops operatives. Bruce continued to run at maximum speed, finding that he was getting winded quickly.

“C’mon,” muttered Bruce as his lungs burned.

“Puny Banner,” laughed a voice within Bruce’s head, “I’m right here. I can run. I can also smash!”

Bruce just shook his head, but he could tell that he couldn’t keep us this pace much longer. And sure enough after a few minutes, Bruce could tell that he was running on fumes. And to make matters worse, Bruce had lost track of Rick among the massive trees.

A burst of gunfire from behind Bruce told him that the soldiers had caught up with him. Unleashing a torrent of curses, Bruce just narrowly avoided several shots, landing less than a foot from him. As he did so, Bruce began to feel like he was about to collapse. His breathing was so ragged that it was affecting his vision. As he faded in and out, a barrage of gunfire came at Bruce.

But then he leaped into the air, his legs becoming green and massive. As Bruce landed back on the forest floor, he had trouble breathing, and felt the monster within rising up. The scientist then collapsed to the ground. As his vision went between light and dark, Bruce then fell into unconsciousness.

And the Hulk awakened. The body of Bruce Banner then convulsed as his muscles grew in size, his clothes ripping, and his body turning green. With a roar, the Hulk rose to his feet, pulling off the shredded remains of Banner’s shirt.

“Who wants to fight the Hulk?” chuckled the Hulk loudly.

The response came in the form of bullets as the soldiers surrounded the Hulk. The shots did indeed hit the Hulk, but they only bounced off his hide, feeling more like mosquito bites. So all that did was annoy the Hulk. With a grimace on his face, the Hulk pounced at the nearest soldier, who then emptied all the bullets in his gun into the Hulk’s chest.

But the green giant ignored it, instead grabbing the rifle with one hand and grasping the man by the neck with his other hand. The Hulk then threw the rifle against a redwood tree, causing it to shatter. With his other hand he tossed the soldier at one of his comrades, causing them both to collapse to the ground.

The remaining three soldiers began to back up. The Hulk then rushed at them, grabbing two of them by the head. He then slammed both of their heads together, causing a major concussion at the least. The last standing soldier then went into a full on run, dashing away from the battle.

“And this little piggy ran all the way home,” muttered the Hulk.

Then with a mighty leap, the Hulk rose into the upper levels of the forest. Then with pinpoint accuracy, the Hulk landed on the fleeing soldier. Pinning him to the ground, the Hulk grinned at him, his face only centimeters from his.

“So who are you?” asked the Hulk, “Why did you shoot at Banner and his friends?”

The soldier began to cry as he replied, “Look, we were just ordered to take out any S.H.I.E.L.D. agents that showed up. That’s all the General said.”

At the mention of a General, the Hulk remembered General Ross, the man who spent a year trying to kill the Hulk. To the green giant it made sense that Ross would try to kill him while he was puny Banner. But as he thought this, the Hulk noticed that the soldier had peed a little bit.

“Gross!” shouted the Hulk as he tossed the man away from himself.

The man collided with a giant redwood, going limp as he did so. The Hulk sighed as he got to his feet. He wasn’t going to get anything from the unconscious soldiers, so the Hulk decided to explore around. It had been awhile since he had been unleashed, so he wanted to take as much advantage of this opportunity as possible.

The Hulk breathed in the fresh forest air as he walked in a random direction. After a little bit he found a road running through the redwood forest. Deciding to follow it, the Hulk wondered if there would be anyone else to fight up ahead. After following the road for a few miles, the Hulk saw a sign: Welcome to Ferndale, Population: 1,371.
