@RickyG85 So, reading over that, seems fine. Although i will say that Amazoness Queen is not what i'd personally describe as "A big beasty" Might i suggest Amazoness Pet Liger King? Apart from that, yeah, looks fine.

@Randomguy Kinda the same problem with Ricky's. One of the things that i think a deck needs for the sake of narrative is at least 1 big beastie type. Red Eyes Black Dragon, Gate Guardian, Fortress Whale, the thing that your character can aura-farm as it shakes the world with its might Show the bad guy you mean business And look like an absolute boss doing so. If you're trying to keep to the Gravekeeper's theme, might i recommend one of the Sphinx cards?

Duel Monsters. Created by Maximillian Pegasus as a game to entertain children, but ended up practically subsuming culture. What few know is the fact that the game was merely rediscovered and patented. Descended from the ancient art known as "Shadow Games" the spirits of another realm were captured in large stone tablets and used to Duel each other. Duel Monsters is merely a more convenient version of it. But the world from which these spirits came still exists. And the humans who are capable of commanding them. Their descendants still exist in the modern world.

Seto Kaiba, the man who brought the Duel Monsters to the masses, Yugi Moto, the King of Games were but two of the descendants. But family trees branch and there are plenty of others out there. Those who find themselves inextricably called to this world.

Now, that world is under attack. Dark forces move within. A virus that corrupts any and all it touches. Creating a swarm of evil...

The Basics

You are someone who has been isekai'd into the Duel Monsters World. Think of the Big 5 and Noah arcs from the original series or the Dimension World arc from GX.

You can make whatever kind of character you want, but just bare in mind that somewhere in your past, you are descended from one of the Ancient Sorcerer's of Egypt. This doesn't mean you have to play an immediate relative of a canon cahracter, it does however mean you are at least VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY distantly related to at least one of them.

Duels, how do they work?

Honestly, the same as every other RP's 1v1 fight. You generally decide among yourselves who will win a duel based on where the story is going and duels will be cinematic as opposed to doing the one thing that nobody in this day and age should ever have to be forced to to "Actually play the game"

And i do mean that in a very loving way. See, Yu-Gi-Oh is not an even slightly balanced game, meaning at any one point in the game, 99% of cards are unplayable. Meaning if we want to decide matches based on playing the game, this means that everyone is going to be playing the current meta. And that's a fate worse than death.

Point is, I want the guy who stands Beaver Warrior to have just as much story impact as the guy playing the latest Ryzeal T0W deck.
