Not sure if I included your name when I posted. >_< Kassy has fought and wasn't half bad. Let me know if you need me to link you.

Jin was about to open her mouth and ask who the goth-boy's friends were, but when she was handed a helmet, the technology distracted her. She immediately began wondering how it worked, if it was programmed or simply some advanced VR unit? How advanced, then? Could they be hurt in the simulation? Would there be aftereffects?

She turned and grinned at Magnus, helmet in her lap. "To answer your question, mathematically it's just coincidence. There's no solid answers without more data. But I'd like to work together all the same. I can teach you a few fighting basics if you like later. You'll probably pick it up easy. I think we'll make a great team, Mags."

"Alright, let me see what I can do." She summoned her paper to both hands, creating a large, flat surface. Then she began to lift some of the heavier rubble up and out, until there was a path she could slide into. "Connor, be ready!" The first survivor came up on a smaller version of Kijani's plane, bloodied and battered, but relieved.
@t2wave Hey! Been a while. How are you?
Okay, I'm late. Anyway, did I miss the character sheet?
Jin was halfway to the other building when everything got weird. Their initial thought was that this was some kind of nightmare. Jin had plenty in the past - still had recurring ones that were a nasty mix of real memory and childhood phobia. Muttering a hellish mix of Japanese and English curse words, Jin fiddled with their uniform jacket, and pulled something from the back.

They'd never actually had to use the knife they kept taped to the back of their jacket. Simply having it made Jin feel better and safer. Jin gave the blade a little poke, hissing at the pain slightly but keeping their thumb there until a tiny bead of blood welled up. The world stayed the same. Gray, and screaming, with fresh... fresh... no, this had to be some kind of joke.

"Fuck, this is bad. This is way bad..." With a nervous exhale, Jin made sure the knife was securely gripped, and started to make their way slowly down the hall. The trick was not to panic in the dark, to keep your head on swivel and not to believe you were safe unless there was a safe corner to put your back to.

Right now, there were no safe corners.

"Allright, whatever the fuck this nonsense is... I'm ready for it."
I need to catch up. Will have something brief up tonight
Me! Space mermaid therapist!
@CajunRobinHood That's actually very astute. It's both reasons, actually. Jin would probably be able to out engineer her father in a few years. They figured out a way to block Jin's power completely, but that causes more harm than good. Jin is still growing, so she's currently got more power than she can actually maintain. Her mother could pick locks with her tk. Jin would just take the door off.
@Bornlucky@Mistress Dizzy@chukklehed@AdmrlStalfos19

Your characters are currently alone in this bizarro school right now, so I'm wondering what your plans are here. Looking around for suspicious things? Trying to find other signs of life? Just asking for "reasons".

Jim is going to be very upset that they left the weapon behind...
I'm kinda frustrated. I have so many ideas! I was even trying to draw Achieng. I can see her in my head, but can't really get the art right.
