Scott Rydzynski

Location: His Apartment - Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: The Fuzz

Scott shook his head, grabbing two mugs and pouring cups of coffee for the officers. He knew when to be an ass and this wasn't one of those times. "Nah, I had work a few hours later, came back here and changed into something that wasn't covered in a drunk's vomit." No respectable person, in any occupation, showed up to work covered in puke. It was something that brought them all together - bank tellers and mercs alike. He spotted Olivia out of the corner of his eye, grimacing slightly, but it easily could have been construed as a memory of the ordeal.

I didn't sign up for this bullshit, he thought to himself. It was bad enough there were cops in his place, but now there was a blonde who showed up randomly. She wasn't one of the ones that he had seen earlier - Coffee Princess, Gideon, Claire, or the twins. And given the expression on her face, he doubted she was anything less than confused as hell about all of this as well. Great.

Walnut's attention was temporarily diverted by a rather phallic exclamation. She arched an eyebrow, still on the floor, as she rose to her feet. The chair-body combo had continued to climb and climb, reaching its apex at a distance that boggled the senses. The comments of the others couldn't hold her attention for long, yet Walnut quickly came to a startling conclusion. The chair might have traveled an enormous vertical distance, but horizontally...Well, it was not nearly as impressive in that regard. Recognizing the danger of becoming the second victim of a chair that evening, Walnut sprung into action - and sprung being the operative word here...

As Walnut tried to take off into a run away from her chair, she still hadn't quite gotten up and she tripped over her own two feet. The silver lining was that she skid forward into the dirt, and without enough time or coordination to get to her feet, Walnut did an awkward shuffle-scoot on her knees to put more distance between herself and her chair. Barely making it to the road before she heard the resounding crash of the fallen chair smashing into her own vacated seat, she felt her face for a moment. Her mask had stayed on throughout the entire ordeal.

She let out a breath, before taking another one deeply as she scrambled to her feet near the others who had hurried off to the side of the road. "Such a remarkable death for an unremarkable person..." Walnut observed quietly, looking at the body that had fallen a few chairs away from her own.

Nora Kingston

Location: Qasr El Nil Barracks (Infirmary)
Skills: N/A

Nora glanced over at Mosi, still aiding her slightly to walk. Despite the vomiting, her own brand was still concealed by the glove. She decided to keep the glove covering it, at least for now. She didn't want to know what sort of infection could set in if it was exposed to the vomit - which she wondered if Mosi would spring another round of it from her stomach. Even if it was just bile, it couldn't be good. "...It's quite alright," Nora said softly. As irritating as it was, it wasn't the worst thing that had happened to her in life and it certainly would not be the last time someone emptied the contents of their stomach onto her. It would happen again, she was sure of it.

As Mosi brought up Neema with the callous remark that she had gotten the inquisition treatment, Nora's blood boiled slightly. It was such a rude and inconsiderate way to speak about a woman who had only just died! She clenched her hand slightly. It was sadly typical of Americans - there was really no respect for the dead. "I would hope that someone is not so cold and unfeeling when they speak of your recent death one day," Nora said simply, as they finally made it to the infirmary. Mahendra was being tended to at the moment and Nora judged that they could wait. Hopefully there would be a change of clothing. Clothing that didn't involve trousers - she hated those things.
@Draven Hello! At the moment I believe we are past the point of accepting new players. However, this arc is nearing its climax/close, so once the next arc begins, would you like to be contacted? (As that will be an ideal point to bring in new people)

Jack Newnan

Location: Headland: E. Main Street, D9 -> D8 (inside Hordebuster)
Skills: Survival

As Jack continued to look out in astonishment at the nun, his mind then took in the conditions they were facing. It was raining all of the sudden and he doubted it'd give them a break from the humidity, as much as he'd want it to. From his years living in the South - only when infested by the Dead - the humidity never really seemed to let up. Sometimes, he wondered if it was because this was Hell - a hot humid land infested with loved ones' animated corpses, ready to devour you without another glance. And if it wasn't Hell, well, Satan ought to be taking notes. There was plenty of material here for him to use.

Maybe she's seen Solovey... Jack wondered to himself quietly. He knew the nun could easily be a trap - seriously, a nun?! Of all people, he didn't anticipate those to be the survivors. But at the same time...Nuns were universally trusted. What if Tatiana was traveling with one - did nuns know how to deliver babies? He hoped to god that Froggy was still with her, but he couldn't ignore this potential lead. And even if she hadn't seen Tati, maybe she'd seen a note Tati had left behind in this area. Anything to point him in the right direction or to keep the spark of hope alive within him.

"Gotcha," Jack said, climbing over towards the door. The minute Riley and Amelia jumped out, he got into position, hoping that his muscles would win the fight against the wind. No, they had to, he reminded himself. They had to for Tatiana and Jamie. They were counting on him - and every little fight he got into, every situation, he had to give it 110%. Anything less would not be enough.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quincy: House (E9) --> Inside House (C5)
Skills: Bow, Scavenging, Stamina

Beatrice was silent as Thana insisted on taking point again - it had been something of a trend and she figured it was Thana's right to decide to do that if she wished. Until she was no longer competent in that role, it was fine with Beatrice. Thana could risk her life, as long as it didn't endanger the rest of them. She considered her a friend and she respected her - the entire reason for that rationality. It wasn't her job to remind Thana of her limits. Not yet, anyways. As she entered the house, bow at the ready, she moved up towards the left as Thana had instructed her. It reminded her of the houses the nice parents would have in the foster system - the ones that would never actually adopt you and send you back the next day like a defective toy.

1"Tal vez cuando termine con ellos, te deje lamer la lata," Beatrice quipped to Thalia with a smirk. She had been fluent in Spanish for ages and they were right. Learning a language really was a lifelong gift - it was perfect to antagonize the angrily cute warrior chick in the apocalypse with. Clearly its intended use as well. Her smirk vanished a moment later. She wasn't one for prolonged smiling. Besides, the blasted wind had kicked up and Thana had gotten hurt. It would have been comical, in retrospect - injured by the wind, rather than a human being or a walker.

She continued to walk forward, listening idly to the conversations around her as she headed behind the island countertop and down the hallway, stopping in front of what seemed to be a pantry and beginning her check there, ready to shoot anything that came her way.

Present Day - The Castle: December 22nd, 12,507 - 9:30 AM

@BlueSky44: Emperor Taj nodded at her, placing a hand on her upper arm and giving her a tight squeeze. It was never easy, dealing with the death of a parent, and she had had to experience it at such a young age. Perhaps it was easier that Valda never really knew her mother - or perhaps that made it all the more difficult. Time had been stolen from her. "I can tell you, Queen Valda, that the device that killed your mother...If it falls into the wrong hands, which I fear it has, it has the potential to shatter the laws of reality as we know...to an extent that even Magyk will fail to undo..."

It was a relatively soft warning, compared to what it could have been. In truth, the device could mean the end of existence itself if used improperly. As for the ghost of Queen Meliscente, she would have little choice but to be in the Queen's Room. A ghost must spent one year and a day at the location of their death - in this instance, the very room that served as Queen Valda's chambers. Whether or not Queen Meliscente would appear, it was hard to say. Yet the odds were slim at best.

@FantasyChic: "He and his family are really old, and I mean really old. His little sister prevents them from aging," Medea answered, only to be followed up by Marya a moment later. "She's cute but a bit annoying, I don't see why Tata lets her do that to everyone but be careful or she might do it to you too...Unless immortality is something you're after." There was a gust of wind and suddenly the girls were dressed for the day in winter tunics and cloaks, their hair brushed out. "Come on, tour time," Marya said with a smirk.

They were pleasantly in the kitchen/living room area. Bruce's Alchemie equipment was set up on the far wall, which the twins looked at with a dismissive wave of their hand. They kept chattering to each other in a foreign language, before they arrived at the door closest to the front door and opened it. "This is where Halley, Astrid, and Nova sleep when they come to see Tata," Marya explained. It was a pretty standard room set up, with a large wardrobe filled with clothes of three different distinct sizes and styles.

The room right next door, as Medea explained, was the room she and Marya slept in. It was rather plainly furnished as well, but the floor was littered with wrappers that seemed to be from stolen FizzFroot and other items. There was a healthy amount of prank items and on the desk were books on witchcraft. There was a single bed that the two of them shared.

@mnkee@KazAlkemi: Asha visibly grimaced as Amarantha brought up the subject of Puck. As far as Asha was concerned, there was nothing to say on the matter. The vile man had died - the scum was removed from the face of the planet. If anything, the shapeshifting family had done them a service. If they had not killed Puck, Asha herself may very well have if he continued much longer. In the Big Wild Land Over the Ocean, such behavior was not tolerated. The abduction of children and forcing them into an army...It was barbaric and inhumane.

Her irritation was only furthered as Lyra apologized for what had transpired. What knight, Asha had to wonder, sided with someone as sick and malicious as Puck? It made her feel queasy and she had to look away from Lyra. "That is correct," Asha said simply to Amaranatha. "He met a far kinder end than he deserved. Leave it at that."

@LadyRunic: Badger looked down at his shoes, wiggling his toes in amazement. His feet ached to do that, but there was no additional pain from the ill fitting garments anymore. The boy teared up slightly at Rhys' kindness. No adult had ever been kind to him before, especially not a stranger...Badger then grimaced a bit as Rhys asked about his friends. "No, sir...They died before the rioting..." Badger mumbled, looking Rhys in the eye as he had been taught.

The commentary about his eye color confused Badger. He didn't actually know the color of his own eyes. The Young Army hadn't been relatively fond of giving mirrors to children so that way they could examine themselves. His friends just told him that he had cool eyes - but witch and wizard eyes? That frightened him. The Young Army thrived on anti-Magyk propaganda, mostly aimed towards wizards. Witches were given a pass, likely due to Puck's sister being the last Wendron Witch Mother.

"I'll stay..." Badger whispered, just as Tom let out a death rattle scream in his confined area.

@KazAlkemi@BlueSky44: Alright, so Cuyler will not realize that's he is speaking to the lost princess of the Land of Long Nights - which is understandable, given that Sylvi is using a false name and not very many know what the royal family of the Land of Long Nights looks like. However, he will notice that one of the windows seems to be brand new on the second floor and there's scuff marks that look fresh on the stones - one of them even seemed to have been hastily replaced. He'll be certain without a doubt that someone snuck into the tower recently (within the last few days).

"Bards aren't real wizards," a ghost scoffed, floating inside of the tower, yet he only Appeared to Sylvi. Cuyler won't be able to see him. Furthermore, Sylvi will need to recite the password to the door in order to let the ExtraOrdinary Wizard know she is requesting admittance during a lock down. Cuyler can also press his badge against the door to cause a similar chain reaction. Either way, one of you let Arya know you want inside!

Arya Rincewind

Location: Wizard Tower - 21st Floor ---> 20th Floor

Arya couldn't help but smile slightly at her apprentice's enthusiasm. It just reminded her more and more of why she had chosen to take Atkin on, rather than anyone with a more traditional Magyk background. He was curious and adventurous - the perfect qualities for a student - and kind and compassionate - something she prized in an individual. The cats still hadn't left him alone, continuing to swarm Atkin as if he was some sort of Cat God or a cat-whisperer. "Yes, but not just any records on mutants," Arya clarified. "My mother told me of the бесконачни каменци when I was a child, as did my Uncle Marcellus. These stories detail stones of power beyond measure...And as silly as it may seem, I believe that Asha the Magykal may have one of these stones." Her thoughts flickered back towards Asha's quick rebuff as to her necklace, despite the immense Magyk and power the purple gem radiated.

"It's been some time since the Big Wild Land sent any representatives to the Castle...Not since early in the reign of Queen Meliscente, after her own mother abdicated the throne - Queen Sarai," Arya added. "So that begs the question - why come now? Queen Meliscente's death I am certain was caused by a Darke Magyk, too faint for me to make out...Yet perhaps Emperor Taj or Asha the Magykal knows more as to Queen Meliscente's death than they are willing to disclose." It struck her as suspicious. If her assumptions were correct, Asha the Magykal had one of the бесконачни каменци. And perhaps, Queen Meliscente had been murdered with one as well...

"Run ever faster, return to your master," Arya recited, undoing Atkin's Magyk on the cats and they all fled the room in a single file line, exiting the 21st and 20th floors of Wizard Tower as they went back to their owners at top cat-speed. Arya had a slight smile on her face as she observed them leave. She then nodded at Atkin, motioning for him to follow her, as she descended the staircase to see Rowland trying to pet the cats before they sped out of the room.

"Rowland, Atkin and I will need to make a trip to the Manuscriptorium before the Moot," Arya explained, though she really had no intention of going to the Moot and trusted that Rowland would get more out of it than she could anyways. Rowland nodded, opening the door so that way they could leave with a twinkle in his eye, before he bent over and whispered into Atkin's ear:

"Be sure to ask Marcellus if he still needs help getting that stick out of his ass, it seems to be rather stuck," Rowland mused, only to catch a disapproving glare from Arya. She didn't want her apprentice to hear that sort of language! He then gave Atkin a wink, nodding encouragingly as he mouthed: Do it!

Myrus Silvers

Location: the Palace - Infirmary

Luckily, Becky was not going to be on her own for much longer. Earlier that morning, she had sent a pair of guards to the Forest, in order to seek out some assistance. Her own supplies were running low and Becky was just one woman. Myrus' condition was a puzzle to her, one that would be better resolved if assisted by another. Besides, this healer came from the Land of Mysteries itself - the Eastern SnowPlains - and perhaps would have an inkling as to what was going on. "Skaoi Silverveil should be here soon," Becky muttered under her breath, attempting to reassure herself.

Luna's information that the family suffered from mental illness every few generations did not help to soothe Becky's nerves. In fact, they inflamed them. She didn't know what was happening to Myrus and the realization that he was at risk for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder...Luna hadn't been clear as to what...well, it was giving Becky a small bit of anxiousness herself. Skaoi Silverveil couldn't come soon enough. "No, I am afraid you may not leave you, Princess Luna," Becky said, looking at her with an understanding air.

Truthfully, however, Luna could leave if she wanted to. Becky couldn't legally keep her there - Luna was the Crown Princess and outranked everyone except for the Queen, the Chief Scribe, the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, and the Castle Alchemist. Myrus seemed to have stilled again in his slumber, still mumbling the same name over and over again in his sleep - "Golds...." It seemed that he was trying to tell them something - maybe Valda or Amarantha would know what to do?

Antonije Magnisky

Location: The Badlands: Port Witch Coven Safe House/Antonije's Observatory

Antonije flinched slightly, taking a step away to avoid Constance's arm as she tried to take his hand. He gave her a sideways look, only to be met with a glare and he shrunk back even more, pulling slightly on his sleeve in an attempt to maximize the portion of his body that was covered up. Constance Langdon, his mother, just rolled her eyes at him, before she nodded at Fleur. "Let me know when you change your mind," she said sweetly, with a bit of a sick smile. "I've heard about...his kind...and well, they say pride comes before they fall. And they're full of pride, bursting with it."

"You do realize two seconds for you is a year for everyone else..." Antonije muttered. People tended to call him Tate. It was easier for them to say than Antonije. And truthfully, he didn't care, since he just wanted to be left alone anyways. They could call him Charlie, as long as they didn't bother him. "And fun fact, two seconds is also about how long you'll pretend you care about my sisters...." he added. He could feel Constance's eyes on him. He didn't think Bruce would actually take care of his siblings - he was wary of that at best.

Constance however smiled approvingly at Fleur's words. There was a reason a child so young had been made Witch Mother. Yet that did not mean she didn't expect him to react with violence, but she had a firm grip on Antonije and would ensure that he did what must be done. She'd make a proper warlock out of him one day - they could use one anyways, since Malekith had died. Antonije's eyes flickered over towards Constance again, his stomach twisting with anger and rage. He was terrified to leave her, as much as he wanted to. And at the same time, he wanted nothing more than to take the Charm from his pocket and throw it at her, setting her aflame.

Dominika Novikova

Location: the Lounge (Level Two)
Skills: Dimensional Energy Perception (Passive)

Novikova was sitting in the lounge, having found a pair of headphones and plugged them into her phone, listening to one of her favorite songs - Paranoid by Black Sabbath. The remastered version, of course. She tapped her foot quietly, thinking about the events of the last week. Captain America had been more interested in giving her and Abercrombie traditionally combat training, with Tinley offering to mentor her some as well. She had gotten better by the end of the week, yet she couldn't help but despise the image those two had in their mind that she was some weak and delicate thing.

She clenched her hand. There wasn't a lot of earth on this plane - mostly just tracks of dust that people had tracked in with their feet - yet she could feel them. They were too distant to do much of anything with and she let it go. Five different people had left the program in one way or another - Hale had gone with a team to Canada to look in on an old facility as a favor to Dr. Jiang, as rumors of activity had popped up on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s radar. Kelley had returned from his mission to Eastern Europe, just in time to be sent along with Hale on the Canadian mission. Val had gone home due to a family emergency and both Nikolova and Rivera were, tragically perhaps, deceased.

It had been enough of a loss in numbers for Fury to reabsorb Team Beta into Team Alpha - something Novikova privately realized had been his intention all along. A few different names had been thrown around S.H.I.E.L.D. command as to what to call them - Phase Three didn't seem to do them justice. Of all of them, Novikova found the Secret Warriors to be the absolute worst - yet it seemed to be what Fury had decided fit them best.

They had received some new members, of course - ones experienced in the field and with their powers. Agents Blake, Vasyutin, and Renroir had all joined. The command structure remained largely the same. Agent Kennedy was in charge of them all, assisted by Agent Reed. Agent Abercrombie would lead the team in the field. And the rest would follow her command.

Director Fury

Location: C.O.'s Office (Level Three)

Fury wasn't actually on the Bus. No, in reality he was back at the Triskleion, sorting out the latest crisis. Yet the C.O.'s office had a private television, making it ideal for a live conversation between him and the upper command agents. Of course, its privacy had also caused two others on the Bus to choose to use it for some...less than respectable purposes, causing Fury to sigh and inform them that he could damn well see them fucking over there. That was a mess he'd have to deal with later. It was against S.H.I.E.L.D. policies but he had bigger fish to fry at the moment than worry about who Agent Raynor chose to have sex with.

"Let's cut to the chase," Fury said, as soon as Agents Kennedy, Reed, and Abercrombie were in the room. "As I hope you all know, since otherwise I clearly need to hit you over the head with briefing reports instead of just sending them along, Lucia von Bardas was elected as Serbia's prime minister. She's from the Latveria region - a fucked up place that we believe is now exporting tech based weapons to some of the greatest pains in our asses. And the Cheeto in charge won't do shit about it. Intel says that we are just weeks away from Von Bardas sending advanced tech to the Ghost, the Vulture, the Brotherhood...You name it, she supplies them. Your mission is to shut down the weapon trade covertly, since I don't have to remind you that one fucking tweet and we could all be out of work, even if it is to save the world."

"At least Jakobsen wouldn't fuck around with stuff like this..." Kennedy muttered. The man had his flaws, that was for certain, but he was the best one currently running for office. And he doubted that Jakobsen would just sit around and do nothing while von Bardas was arming the criminals of the world with high powered weapons. He rubbed his hand for a moment. It had been a while since he had been to Serbia. Last time he was there, he was human - he had a normal life. And then, thanks to Isotope E, that all had changed...

"Well he hasn't been elected yet, unless I need to remind you how to use a calendar, Kennedy," Fury pointed out without a trace of humor in his voice or face - but on the inside he was cracking up. "Shut it down. Lethal force is authorized if necessary, but I'd like to avoid a nuclear war. I don't have enough Advil to make that headache go away."
