Use your powers and skills to do black ops missions for the government in which you'll receive time off your sentence or full pardon, or they'll go back to making your life hell. Amanda Waller is looking for the ones nobody will miss. Expendables in her eye. You may only just have one power. Or hell, you may just be one of the best thieves in the world with the right toy in your hands. You've all got your history however brief or uninspiring. Now... what's it gonna be nutjob? You gonna join Task Force X?"

What I'm looking for in this RP is a handful of supervillains we'll have placed within the DC universe. Don't worry about making super fine details about which era of the comics it's inspired from, just toss a guy/girl in there and have him/her get taken in by one of the superheroes... or even just the police. I haven't seen all of the new film, and I don't read the current books, I'm just a fan of the concept from way back when Bronze Tiger was the 'hero' of the team. I should also note there can also be up to two government heroes or agents working with the team, similar to other incarnations that have included Bronze Tiger, Rick Flagg, Vixen, Katana, June Moon, the Atom, and Cameron Chase. The original characters involved can't be anything patterned off an incredibly powerful character like Superman, but you can have a power or two. I'm looking for mostly street level criminals. Or if you really want, you can use somebody from the source material like Capt. Boomerang, Harley Quinn, etc. who could still be a survivor of past missions and still under the thumb of Waller. Just none of the more premiere characters that are on several wiki lists as members like General Zod, Doomsday, Black Manta, etc.

Any dropouts will be killed within the context of the game if you disappear on us for more than a couple weeks without mentioning something in the OOC.

When the first mission ends, any dropouts can be replaced with other interested parties from the ongoing iCheck before we begin our next mission. I've already got the first three missions in the pipeline. The first will involve a government research center in Texas that possesses fractured Scarab tech similar to that of the more recent Blue Beetle.

I'll update this opening post at the beginning/end of every mission to update the roster, and to list any deaths that have occurred. If you see your name, go ahead and repost your CS in the Character Tab.

I liked it. He'd probably be in Iron Heights with my guy before 'Ghost is recruited into the Squad. He'll definitely be in mission 002.

And it's awesome how more supernatural characters are coming into play with Super-clones being part of our next mission. Think we should have enough now though with everyone approved for 001 and pre-approved for 002...

Some of you need to have taken on a superhero at some point in the DCU LOL! Some of you should be taken down by Batman in Gotham or another vigilante type somewhere. For those of you in Europe I could name drop a few heroes if you need a place to start. Hell, in the New52 Wonder Woman's base of operations for awhile was in London! There's also folks like Knight & Squire [the Batman & Robin of England], the Crimson Fox, Godiva, Atlas, Nightrunner, Musketeer, Olympian, Wild Huntsman, Cascade, Jack o' Lantern, Ice, Legionary, the Hood [another Batman-ish vigilante around England], and Hurricane the Firestorm of England [there should seriously be a new Justice League Europe again already].

Pretty sure I've got the majority of my initial cast already for our first mission [check the titanpad list]. However, this iCheck will remain open as players drop out and their characters are killed within the context of the game they'll need to be replaced. And some missions will also just require more attention and players. I'm hoping most missions will only take three weeks to complete, no need for dragged out scenes.

I mentioned before the first mission would be to take on something of a creature with fractured Scarab tech similar to the modern Blue Beetle in Texas. The second mission will involve an underground Cadmus lab in St. Roch Louisiana, and that will have us facing off against a few half cooked Bizarro like Super-clones. @thedragonsimon@LancerOfBlue I really like your characters and hope you're still around after mission 001. I was also interested in what @Weird Tales was gonna do with the rest of his Blade CS.

Um... No? I usually GM up to three RPs. Currently I've just got this one and then Suicide Squad I'm still recruiting for. Waited almost a month to start a second game just cause my schedule had been so hectic but it's finally calming down now.

@rocketrobie2 He worked for Checkmate for a bit and at the beginning of Red Hood & the Outlaws he was in a middle Eastern prison. I could see him being locked up for something stupid and Waller coming in with an offer.

@thedragonsimon The iCheck will remain ongoing even after the first group is chosen. As people drop out their characters will be killed within the context of the game and will need replacing. When a new mission begins, roughly every two to three weeks, I'll recruit more players from this thread.

I'm surprised nobody's applied for a cannon character!
