I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio
Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
@RedDusk Where ya at? I'm putting your character on standby for the moment until you reply. You've got about two days before I decide to take you out of the picture entirely. I'll just have him disagree to go with the Kobold, and go on his merry way in that case.
@Black Alice Thanks for the heads up!~ I'll try not to get too far ahead without you for the moment.
And as always, feel free to talk a bit with your companions. I'll move things along plot-wise whenever I think is a perfect time to interrupt with shenanigans~
Everyone could learn it? Curious, but a welcome development as far as Isabella cared. Magic should be taught to all, should they desire it. Unrestricted, even those deemed unsafe usually. Perhaps the Trolls would be...open to her magic as well? She couldn't be certain, though, and she had no reason to say anything so she stayed silent.
Instead, It seemed Tetras wished to speak with her. Apologizing for antagonizing the bird? He didn't have anything to apologize for...he was simply doing his job as best as he could. She couldn't exactly fault him for that, could she? As Taok lead them further into the woods, she turned her attention to him. The silver haired girl was silent as she studied him, creating a somewhat awkward silence before replying.
"...Isabella Valencia." She stiffly replied after a few moments, giving her first and middle names. "Former Holy Knight of the Baumn Empire. You...do not have to apologize." Despite the somewhat stiffness of her words, she nodded her head in a friendly manner and gave him a small smile. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Tetras. You may call me Bell, if you wish." She fell silent after that. She wasn't exactly good at making small talk, unless it was about magic of some sort, and maybe she was judging a book by its cover Tetras didn't seem to be very...magically inclined.
"Uhm...Holy knights are required to be knowledgeable about geography surrounding Baumn and Caededril. I may have heard of your home, as I know quite a bit about magic and a few more scholarly pursuits." Did that sound condescending or too much like a know it all? She hoped she didn't, since she really wasn't trying too.
She vaguely registered some sort of commotion from the other two near the wagon, and turned her head briefly to look, but since nothing seemed amiss, she left it alone. It'd be rude to leave mid-conversation.
Taok trudged quietly along in front of the group, making a few short conversational sentences with the other troll with them as a toucan came and landed on his shoulder. It was a bit larger than average...and was holding a familiar fruit in its beak as it crushed it in its maw. It turned its head to briefly look at the adventurers, waving a wing at them as Taok stroked its feathers briefly as he walked.
"Forgive us." The injured one said, falling to a knee. Though whether from the inability to stand from his wounds, or in some sort of reverence was impossible to tell. "We did not know you were here." He didn't get much more room to speak before the one Ankt was holding was released, falling to the ground and gasping for breath as Nazr interjected.
"Tame it?" The injured Kobold replied, seeming surprised once again in the span of a few moments. "Half our tribe has tried..." The Kobold seemed rather skeptical of his claims despite seeming to be in awe of the larger lizard.
"Forgive Claddirk, Mighty Ancient." The one on the ground spoke, standing, rubbing his scaly throat. Despite his stature and nature as a Kobold, it seemed he had at least some eloquence to his speaking. "He has...never been one to take the tales of our tribe seriously." Unlike the one named Claddrik, this Kobold lowered his head in obvious reverence of some sort. "Visk greets you, Ancient One. Forgive our assault on your companion. It was decided to eliminate any human that appears in this cave. If you have come to tame this beast as your friend here suggests, then your timing is impeccable as our history says..."
He raised his head, and with a flourish, pointed towards the cave.
"Come. I will take you to our village. From there, we can show you to the beast. It has been praying on our tribe ever since we stumbled upon those deeper caves."
Izusa simply snickered quietly beneath her mask at Altsoba. Obviously, his anger was a bit amusing to her but she said nothing and instead waited for a reply from their oh so glorious captain. He of course, went on to say that there would be no drinking and no stealing of undergarments while they were ashore. It was like he was trying to actually upset her in some manner. Ah well, no big deal.
Not like he would ever actually catch her doing anything if she really wanted it.
"Captaaaaain, you're taking all the fun out of my life." She sighed. "I'm gonna die at this rate~" She didn't seem to have any real complaints, though and didn't argue unlike Altsoba, who seemed completely against the not getting alcohol thing. Well, she could sympathize. However, Kilik was also a bit right when he said they should focus on food and actual water before any luxuries...like Alcohol, no matter how much she enjoyed it.
"Ah well. Such is life sometimes~" She quietly giggled, standing up. "I'll keep my mitts to myself and not steal any. I'll also refrain from drinking." She hummed to herself quietly as she leaned her back on the railing of the ship and rested her elbows on it. "Altsoba has a good point, though. We don't exactly have a lot of money to throw around everywhere. I don't particularly mind stealing either, buuuuuut, its your call oh glorious capi-tan~"
Judging from the somewhat mischievous tone her voice carried, it would be uncertain just exactly how truthful she was being about what she was saying. And since even under the expressionless mask, she was wearing a small mischievous grin that her voice might imply, it wouldn't help in judgement either.
Izusa's body was limply hanging over the railing of the ship, as if she had a bad case of seasickness, fox mask pushed to the side of her head. Normally, her usual routine would be to sit in the most concealed location she could find, and drink all the alcohol she could get her thieving mitts on. Today though, or at least, ever since coming to the Grand Line, it had been a different story. After the royal screw up that was Reverse mountain, it had been like this.
a cursed lack of alcohol.
"Uuuuugh...I don't think I've ever been this sober in my liiiiiife." Izusa whined. Really, as the first mate she should have said something about coming this far without much alcohol, but here they were. Adrift at sea without a drop to drink. That was a crime against the laws of the universe. They were pirates, damn it. Drinking was a must. "How do you do it Kilik?" She grumbled, staring into the water below, hands pressed to the side of her head as if trying to solve some impossible conundrum. "How can you be so sober and function?" Bah, she'd find out one of these days. She didn't get long to ponder it, as her ears picked up conversation from her two crewmates. They found land?
OH GLORIOUS DAY!~
Land meant alcohol. Alcohol meant no more being sober. No more being sober, meant a happy little Izusa. Also meant a whole village of people to plunder 'loot' from~
With a sudden excitement added to her movements, she adjusted the mask on the side of her face, moving it to conceal her features completely. She might as well go say hi to her favorite crew mates. She pushed herself up from what remained of the railing of the ship, twirling around and walking over to Altsoba. She wasn't able to make out a lot of their conversation, but she definitely heard the last bit.
"Should I get the pervert? or are you gonna take one for the team for once?"
Wordlessly, she approached him from behind. Getting just close that if he turned around, he'd come face to face with her mask. An eyeless, mouthless mask.
"Talking about your crew mates behind their backs is rude, ya know~" She giggled, not seeming to be bothered by the lack of food or alcohol at all at the moment. "And no need, your undergarments have already volunteered their service this fine day!~"
On her finger, she was twirling around a pair of what was definitely Altsoba's undergarments. How she acquired them in such a short time from the railing to here was anyones guess, and before he could make an attempt to get them back either, she shoved them into her pockets.
"Thank you for your sacrifice, you are a true martyr for the cause~" She was smiling widely beneath her mask, but that wasn't something the could exactly see. Without waiting for much of a reply, she hopped up onto the railing at the bow of the ship and took in a deep breath of air.
"Ahhh, smells like fun!~" She giggled loudly once again, though whatever she meant by that she didn't elaborate...and then promptly proceeded to almost lose her footing, and stumble and fall into the ocean below.
That would have been really bad, considering all things. She quickly regained her footing though, and took a seat on the ships bow, facing them.
"Ehehe, well, that was almost bad. So, Captain. Any plans for once we get on land? Aside from getting alcohol and food. I'm parched over here. I'd say getting some info about recent happenings would be a good idea~"
@Rune_Alchemist Most of it is good. There aren't any actual WEAKNESSES cited though. The first one is formulated as if it's more of a strength or slight limitation than anything else. The sudden loud noises seems to be irrelevant in a fight as well, considering she'll be spamming sounds all the time. Seems only efficient as a one trick pony sucker punch.
As is, she doesn't seem to have much of a weakness. Well actually, wouldn't her powers be severely weakened in water, or even when exposed to violent wind currents? Would make more tangible weaknesses that make sense.
Well, yes, obviously anything that hinders sound/pressure waves would also make her abilities less than effective. Apologies for not putting that in there, I can be rather forgetful when it comes to putting weaknesses in a CS until they become relevant ICly, since it's hard to think about every scenario possible when making a character and their abilities.
As for the first thing - we'll have to disagree there. Perhaps I simply didn't explain it well enough in the CS. Her effective range at the start of the RP would likely be somewhere around....five yards or so? maybe a bit more, depending just how much energy she puts into the attack. This means that she's at a fairly bad disadvantage against someone who has ranged abilities. Plus, since they're more or less directional unless she makes them otherwise, all one would have to do is wait for her to attack, dodge it and get in close before she can get another one off - give her a decent slam on the noggin and she's probably gonna go down. Not that hard to do, since her attacks probably will have a bit of a charge up time equivalent to just how much power she's putting in them. (probably should add that too, now that I think about it)
She can't exactly take a whole lot of punishment herself either, considering she is more or less human, and since she's not exactly some martial artist, she can't defend herself at close range all that well without her abilities.
Secondly: As for the loud noise thing - she's not omnipotent. She has good ears, but she can't be aware of everything around her 24/7 unless she focuses, like, a lot. It'd be something she used before a fight to get a bead on where people are. During a fight, its not something she can use on a whim that much. And when I say disorient her, I mean a severe case of vertigo. She's basically gonna not be able to do anything for around ten-fifteen seconds, maybe longer while she tries to reorient herself. She might just get knocked out right off the bat if its something bad enough.
Obviously, in a fight that's basically gonna mean she's done for. All someone would have to do is then restrain her, and boom, she's basically done. Kaput.
Now, it's not gonna be something that works repeatedly in a single fight probably. If they miss their chance once in a fight, it means its probably gonna have a low chance of working again, since she'd be royally pissed by then and go after the chucklefuck who tried it xP
However, in subsequent scuffles I don't see how it wouldn't be effective. She can't predict the future/what people are going to do. She could expect them to do something like it, but unless its like, in the exact same manner as before then I don't see why it wouldn't work. In fact, they could use her expecting them to try it to their advantage and do something else completely.
"Call me Audio. Awesome, ain't it? Came up with it myself."
Name: Subject 636 Prefers the name 'Audio' or a less shortened version of it, 'Audiophile'
"Hot stuff, ain't I? Now quit drooling and make yourself useful, fuckface."
Appearance: The Subject known as 'Echo' weighs approximately 124lbs, and stands at roughly five foot six. She has short cut black hair, with bright blue colored eyes. She has a fairly pale complexion, and a slender frame though it has obvious muscle on it. It's fairly evident she at least takes some care of her body.
"Nineteen, I guess. What does it matter? I can kick your ass regardless."
Age: 19
"Meh, last time I checked I was five six and hundred twenty four. Like I give a shit about how much I weigh." Height/Weight: 5'6"(170cm)/124lbs(56kg)
"People tell me I'm an ass. I say, my ass is 100% fine and they're just jealous."
Personality: To say the one known as Audio has personality issues is an understatement. Easily angered, annoyed, and a fairly short tempered should someone mess with her. She'd really rather just not deal with people and the constant scowl she gives most people tends to accentuate that fact. She really doesn't like people, especially the chucklefucks that are overly friendly and try to 'befriend' her. Needless to say, the rest of her behavoir is basically her being a sarcastic, cynical, ass.
That said, she's not an entirely terrible person. You leave her alone, she'll leave you alone. She doesn't actively seek trouble, but she's not going to back down from a challenge of some sort, and if someone annoys her they will know. She takes great enjoyment in fighting, explosions, and other similar things. Because of this, she'll often forgo any sort of diplomatic or peaceful solution and unleash her special brand of asskickery on people.
Despite her hotheadedness and jump in before thinking about the consequences type behavoir, she's surprisingly logical. At least, she doesn't always jump in without a plan of some sort, even if the plan is somewhat half-baked and she wings half of it. Fairly observant, thanks to her enhanced hearing and can easily hear and see things other people can't. She also works surprisingly well in a team, as long as said team members don't fuck up with whatever they're told to do, and leave her alone when she's working on her thing.
And if one manages to go through the trouble of befriending her, well, she might as well be described as becoming a 'total bro' in that case. To her friends, or people she likes in her little circle, she'd pretty much do anything for. That's not saying she's not gonna be a cynical smart ass, but if you ask her to do something for ya, she'd probably say yes, and while she isn't really the best at verbal support, she'll listen to you all day if it'll make ya feel better. Of course, any advice she gives will be similar to 'kicking its ass until it's not a problem'. Her friends, are likely also the only people who could stop her from doing something incredibly stupid as well.
Powers/Weaknesses: "PPfffft, did you see that? His body went 'pffffffblllt' when he slammed into that wall. I'ma do it again. That shit was funny."
Power/Weakness: Audiokinesis
Description: Simply put, manipulation of Soundwaves, or rather 'pressure waves', and the effect that humans hear as a result is called 'sound'. Obviously, this ability has the potential to be incredibly devastating and destructive if used in the right manner, and could be very deadly in any scenario. Thankfully, she's not very skilled at using the ability to its fullest at the moment, but she intends to change that.
As far as she goes, she's only able to use the pressure waves generated from her own body and power as a weapon.
Current Abilities: Enhanced Hearing: Simple as it sounds. She has incredibly good hearing, making whispering in her vicinity effectively useless. Its good enough to be able to tell how many people are in a room simply by how they breathe, movements, and things like that.
Silent Steps: She is able to effectively make herself move silently by nullifying any sound that comes from her body. She has to consciously use the effect, though.
Boom Fist: The most common use of her abilities at the moment, is simply using her arms, feet, and other appendages to send out powerful pressure waves towards a target. The closer the person is, the more damage they will take from it. It tends to be quite effective in knocking people over, if not killing them outright from blunt force trauma from getting thrown by the blast.
I can talk really loud: As its name might suggest, is capable of a very, very, loud voice. Not really used in combat much, and more to intimidate or get peoples attention if she has too. In combat though, its basically a sonic scream attack.
Various other acrobatic applications, such as jumping higher, or using the sound waves to move fairly quickly.
Weaknesses/Limitations: Come closer, coward: All of her abilities, are directional. Meaning, they can easily be avoided simply by dodging to the side. Of course, they fan outwards from the source (her) but they become much less devastating the further one away is from her and lose their effectiveness. An Omnidirectional attack is of course, possible, but it is currently incredibly draining and probably isn't worth her time to try since it would likely be fairly weak.
Loud noises annoy me: She is also very susceptible to loud, sudden, sounds. They will easily disorient/stun her should she be unprepared for something like it.
Range Fighting ain't my forte: She can't just snap her fingers and make an explosion of sound at a distance. The pressure/sound waves have to come from her body.
Get yo crap noise out of here: Likewise, she can't take sound/pressure waves from other sources and use them. Meaning, she can only use sound she generates.
Other: -Is in fact, a total nerd for some reason.
General fight theme and stuffs
@Savato@Superman@karamonnom Annnd there she is. Made a few changes, and explained her powers a bit more but more or less the same~
